While working in Allentown, PA this week, I decided to check out this spot located just a few miles from our hotel. I originally found it last year on TikTok and had been meaning to visit after hearing great things—and it definitely lived up to the hype. First off, the place is massive. It features an impressive number of TVs, plenty of bar seating, tables, booths, and even a spacious outdoor patio. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, making it an ideal spot to catch a game or grab dinner with friends. We visited on a Tuesday night, and even though it was fairly busy, we were seated within seconds. Our server came by almost immediately to take our drink order, and I wish I had caught her name—she was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the 1760 Rita frozen margarita along with a water, and for my meal, I went with the Fried Chicken Buffalo Wheat Wrap. I swapped out the blue cheese crumbles for cheddar and added a side of fries and a small cup of hot honey sauce. The wrap and sauce were fresh and absolutely delicious. The only downside was that the fries were slightly cold, which is the only reason for the 4-star rating. Other than that, everything—from the food to the service to the overall vibe—was excellent. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town for work to try more from the menu.

Google
The food was very delicious! I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere. The music that was played was amazing. The server we had tonight was awesome especially being in training! Definitely will come back. Highly recommend coming here!

Google
The food was devine. I asked the server what her favorites were and she said wings, steak sandwich and burger. I got the fried perogies, and steak sandwich with homemade chips. I also had the chocolate peanut butter pie.. my co worker got the chicken Alfredo with garlic bread and sauteed perogies. Based on the taste and portion size I expected my meal to be over $30. It wasn’t. This establishment is family friendly the table I was had numerous tables of various aged families around it. A definite repeat place to dine.

Google
This was our first time here. We came based on the strong ratings. However, we were pretty disappointed. The food and portions were decent, fairly priced, and service was really, really bad. In short, we spent 2 hours for lunch. I can't remember the last time I had service this slow. From the point we put in our order to when our food came out was reasonable, however, the service from the waitress was dismal. It took a half hour to get drinks. Another half hour to order food. Then we didn't see her for another 45 min. And another 20 min pay the bill. In the meantime, other tables were seated, served, and left before we could even get our bill.

Had the 1760 trio half rack of ribs, large chicken breast and 3 large shrimp dressed in BBQ sauce. Meal and the service excellent , highly recommend this place

Google
For 1 the wings aren’t seasoned at all, 2 I ordered garlic parm wings thinking it’ll be the dry rub and it’s the garlic they put on the garlic knots with no parm smh bad service wasn’t mentioned when ordered either.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised. We both had cheesesteaks. One regular and one California. Roll was good and both had good flavor. The homemade chips were very good as well. Would definitely come here again.

Google
We had lunch here for the first time. Sarah took good of us at the bar. We split a bowl of Stuffed Pepper Soup, which was excellent. I had the Flat Iron Salad cooked medium rare. Perfectly cooked. My wife had the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap with homemade chips. Also good. Cold Yuenglings. Really cool historic property, give them a try. Update...lunch consisted of a Philly Cheese Steak along with French Onion Soup and Salad.

Yelp
Real Nice Rustic Wood enhanced pub style restaurant and bar. We were here with a party of eight. The service was excellent and all the servers were very friendly and patient to insure the orders were correct. The wife ordered the Chili & Caesar Salad Romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and croutons tossed with Caesar dressing. With Grilled Chicken. I ordered the California BLT with Steak very nice size served with their homemade chips. Other menu items ordered were Ribs, Wraps, Burgers, Kids Mac & Cheese, Onion Rings which looked amazing! We were looking for a place between Allentown & Harrisburg this might be a good choice when traveling!

Yelp
The food was decent, the server was relatively nice, and the ambiance is just pretty clean. Nothing spectacular.

Yelp
it used to be better then it currently is. not sure what has changed but it def could use improvement. food is mediocre. staff is cleaning rugs and mopping before 8pm. which made people think they were getting ready to close. Also i dont think employees should be dragging rugs across the floor to clean them while people are still eating. Ive honestly never seen that happen at a restaraunt before. also for a weekend this place used to be busy, not so much anymore. Not sure what happened but it has definitly went downhill from what it used to be years ago. way better sports bars around the area.

Yelp
Excellent and friendly service. Great option for a local casual dinner spot. Solid pub / comfort food.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch as I had stopped here before and the food was ok. Waited a bit for the bartender to finish up with what I assume was a salesman. Was served and handed a menu. After a moderate amount of time the bartender returned for my food order which was a special. Waited...and waited...ordered a second drink...waited...and waited. After about 30 minutes, and the bartender sitting and eating her own meal, finally told her I couldn't wait any longer and told her to bill my drinks. Her reply was,"You can't expect it to be done in five minutes." Pretty poor attitude to go along with the pretty poor service. Beware of of the daytime bespectacled bartender with an entitled attitude. Yeah...no tip at all.

Yelp
It was very hot and I was craving a Caprese salad. I had recalled seeing a tempting one at 1760. It is my favorite salad and frequently make myself as well as indulge at many restaurants. when salad arrived, presentation looked lovely, until I realized it was on a bed of finely chopped iceberg lettuce, like you might find on a hoagie, and tomatoes were anemic, with hard white centers. The amount of finely chopped basil was approximately 2 leaves. Only flavor was from balsamic vinegar. Our waitress never came back to ask how things were. Out of hunger I ate 1/4 of salad and when waitress came back to clear table I, who almost never complains at a restaurant, stated salad was awful, and not edible. She stated she had one recently, took my plate and promptly presented bill, with no compensation, or offer of something different to eat. Upon leaving, hostess asked how all was, and I asked for managers name. She said she would get them. A woman approached who I recognized as weak day bartender. Once again I stated shortcomings of salad and it was not salad I had seen in last 2 years. She rolled her eyes and stated it says shredded lettuce on menu. In fact it says, crisp lettuce. She was in no way apologetic for my dislike of meal. Caprese salads is a simple salad, with flavors coming from red ripe tomatoes, an abundance of basil, sometimes an infusion of garlic, softened by fresh mozzarella. What I was served was tasteless and expensive, dressed in a decent presentation. Cavalier attitude of waitstaff and management was appalling. I have enjoyed other meals I have had here, but this attitude colors future visits. Cheap subpar ingredients that perhaps other diners don't recognize, is poor business. And not doing a thing to make the experience, right, somehow appalling. Word of mouth is a powerful tool regarding bad food and service, hence my review and the people I have shared my experience with. I wasn't looking for free meal, I was looking for a decent meal that tasted good. Had to go home and make dinner. Clearly management doesn't care at this establishment.

Yelp
First time and last time....walked in bartender looked at us like we were poor. Tried saying hi nothing just snobby and dry. Just wanted to leave but finished drinks and left.

Yelp
Food was good. Please tell me who the hell puts black olives in a margarita??? That was after the first one I ordered and was told green jalapeño was standard in a spicey. Used to be good. Never again. Find real mixologists!!!

Linda B.

Yelp
Amazing food and atmosphere. Bar tender is great servers are fabulous they are friendly and very attentive. Great crew

Dee S.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place shortly after moving to the area. It's fantastic! Food is phenomenal and service is friendly. The steak sandwiches are very good and the fried taco is different but fabulous. The perogies are also fantastic. Servings are large, we always have enough to take some home. We love this place!

Ryan M.

Yelp
Went here for our 30th wedding anniversary. WOW what a great place. The food portions were huge. The food was excellent the prices on food and drinks were fair. And a special shout out to our server Brooklyn, she went above and beyond. Great personality very people friendly and a excellent server. Will definitely be going back again. The place has a great friendly atmosphere..

Yelp
1760 is one of my regular destinations. They have wings , sandwiches and also entrees to pick from. Weekends they also have specials which are normally fantastic

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat in the Valley. Known for their burgers the food is always great. My favorite is the flat iron steak sandwich. Great bar ambiance for happy hour with co workers or to catch a game. Love it so much we always order takeout.

Karen A.

Yelp
Food was good for bar food, but the service was poor. They ignored us several times and it took awhile to get our food. None of the bartenders or staff smiled or were very friendly. We will not be back.

Yelp
This has been one of our delivery go-tos since the beginning of self-isolation. I had never eaten there before. There is a great variety. taco salad is my favorite. My husband dined on fish and chips most recently. Their website is extremely user friendly. From shrimp to nachos; steak to pasta, there's something for everyone. Also salmon and marinated chicken. Another big plus, delivery is usually pretty "quick."
google avatar

Nicola D.

Yelp
I love the buffalo shrimp dish. I come to this place for the shrimp and the wings. I have never had anything else can't judge the rest of the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Over priced and stuffy. It's Allentown / Trexlertown slow your roll Bobby Flay. Haven't had one a meal here or know of anyone who'd recommend.
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
Our go-to for a nearby wing night or sports bar night. We usually get their house fries, pierogies sautéed in butter, honey mustard wings, cheesesteaks and wedge salad. My son likes the chicken breast meal
google avatar

Brian P.

Yelp
Love the food and the service! It's nice to find a local place that does a great job all around.
google avatar

Yelp
Food here is always great. I recommend the wings and their nachos are fantastic!! Great place to catch up with friends or to watch a game. My server at my last visit, Emily, took excellent care of us and was very friendly, definitely love this local spot!

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch in October on a Saturday while passing through the area. We liked the name and the fact this was an historic inn, and once inside, were also impressed with the interior. But after this, we were not impressed by the experience. First, the server was ok, but not very friendly or knowledgeable. After reviewing the menu, I noticed "flat iron steak" and asked her what it was. I was surprised that she didn't know and also didn't bother to go ask someone. So I let it go and decided I would look it up online. Surprising, since this is one of their specialty signature entrees! Lack of product knowledge is a big deal in any customer service profession! Oh well. Next came the food. By now, I figured it would be pretty good. I was wrong. My wife ordered the Nacho Supreme with chicken. At most places we've visited, this has been very tasty. At 1760, not so much. The chicken almost tasted like it came out of a can. LOL. No joke here. Overall, it was not good and she didn't want to finish it or take home any leftovers. As for my Mushroom Swiss Burger, it was ok, but not great. Although the beef is advertised as fresh, I suspect it was frozen, as were the fries before preparation. The burger had a certain grilled taste as I've had at other places that use frozen ground beef. It just didn't have that awesome fresh taste I have had before. Anyway, I was not impressed. Eating options are few and far between in that area, but my recommendation is to keep driving past and eat in Allentown. Plenty of decent food options there.

Yelp
I walked into the front door to the bar area one afternoon. I was there to talk to someone about having a party. no one on the floor but a bartender was behind the bar talking with the only customer in the restaurant. i waited at the entrance side of the bar for someone to acknowledge my presence. She (the bartender) turned around from the other end of the bar eventually while still talking to the customer and she did see me. She turned back around and kept talking to that customer and turned her back to me. i waited another 5 minutes to see if anyone or the bartender would come over and no one did. I left and would never go back. the place looks dingy anyway and kinda dirty. certainly don't want to eat there or have a party there now.

Yelp
We stopped by for a late lunch and ordered two beers, ten hot wings, taco for my wife and a burger for me. The wings were fantastic. I asked for extra crispy and that's what we received. My burger was so so. Fries tasted like they were re-heated. My wife's taco was great and ample. I tried some and wished I had her good sense to order it. Waitress was very friendly, attentive, and did a great job. Nice place.

Esin A.

Yelp
Love this place!! Great atmosphere, no stale odors smells fresh like restaurant should. Grilled cheese sandwich, onion rings decent. Caesar salad w oil and vinegar good! I recommend.

Yelp
I just went a few nights ago to this historic place and just love it there!! It's local it's got badass TV for sports. They bring a whole wall of TVs together to make like a wall of one sports game. The food is delicious!!! I suggest the steamers cause the sauce is to die for.... it's buttery and heavy garlic and with the toasted bread they hit this dish on the mark! We had to get a Togo container for the sauce. I got then the chicken parm sandwich and slammed it down quickly... it was tender and a little crunch piping hot. My wife got the French onion spot Soup and had what you really want a LOT of cheese and flavor. Only problem was getting to the touch screens which they have 2. I got there eventually put a buck in and happy to find already 17 credits were on it.... photo hunting I went. Service A+ and food same.... try this place don't think you'll regret it.

Yelp
Yesterday (7/11) a large group of friends went to 1760 Pub N Grille to watch the Euro final between England and Italy. Our server Maddie was awesome. We had over 20 people and multiple checks. Lots of drinks and lots of food. She nailed it! Never missed a thing did so with a huge smile and great attitude!
google avatar

Joyce C.

Yelp
I was visiting friends and we decided to grab lunch here. We were pleasantly surprised. Great service from Kelly. We had pierogis, they were what you would expect sautés with butter and onion. They were not homemade but they were good. The French onion soup was very good. The beef barley was unique. We have never see beef barley made with chicken stock but regardless it was good. The side salad was very nice. The wedge was exceptional. And the chicken wrap was hood. The plate of homemade chips for the table were very good. A pleasant surprise.
google avatar

Dan V.

Yelp
Ok I thought I was in a time warp. Thursday night football. Kitchen closes at 8:30. Last call at 9:15! I'm not sure why they even show sports on the TVs. The whole point of buying beers at a bar instead of home is to get some bar food and watch the game
google avatar

Nicole H.

Yelp
We love 1760 and this review is strictly based on the waitress. The food was fine, but wow service absolutely horrible, our waitress was wearing a mask but why if it's off your nose and mouth! I really don't even care about the mask as much as she was simply not nice! Absolutely rude, not polite at all!!! Stay away from Kirst65
google avatar

Yelp
This is a pretty cool spot, right off the main road. The interior stuck out to me, even though we ate on the patio. It looked quite nice in there. The bar food is decent. Although it was very good after a hot afternoon at Dorney. Fries were probably the best thing. The wings were good but I wish they had more sauce on them. It seems like it's more focused on the bar aspect and that's fine, cause it seems like it delivers. I'd love to come back sometime on a booming Saturday night.
google avatar

Im A.

Yelp
Service mediocre. Mushroom Swiss burger good. Fries good with a crispy exterior. Mac and cheese mediocre. Buffalo chicken crispy sandwich (awful): tiny chicken patty, no sauce, overpowered with blue cheese crumbles, oversized bun. Noisy, but plenty of screens. 3.5% up charge to use credit vs cash.
google avatar

Olivia C.

Yelp
I ordered 100 wings while i had a few friends over. I ordered half garlic parm & the other half hot and honey. the garlic parm I wouldn't get again but definitely would recommend the hot and honey wings!

Emma C.

Yelp
Highly recommend this go-to local gem! Delicious food, diverse beer selection, and wonderful family atmosphere. You can never go wrong with any of their classics; especially their house cheesesteak, big o burger, and any of their nightly specials

Diane U.

Yelp
service was very slow, food came out was cold , the mgr said she would discount the bill . she took 5$ off .. nope .. never again al. ambiance ? yeah ok. Done
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
This was our first time at this restaurant. I will say the servers are busting their butts! The service was on point. The menu has some common appetizers, entrées, burgers, salads and cheesesteaks. I had the Italian cheese steak, it was good but could've been seasoned a little bit more. My BF had a triple cheese cheeseburger, The burger was actually pretty small. But tasted good. Overall, the place was very average with fair prices.
google avatar

Robert A.

Yelp
Good spot to watch a game , great wings , and cold beer. Not much more you need to have a good time.
google avatar

Yelp
From the food, to the drinks, and employee's...IT'S A GREAT SPOT!! (Has a "Cheers" type of vibe)
google avatar

Joe R.

Yelp
Never was here and was brought here by my gf! Omg best gift ever. This place has wonderful food and the server Paige went above and beyond to accommodate us. Such a wonderful dinner experience had the house fries as an appetizer and fish and homemade house chips with Mac and cheese. Holy cow what an amazing meal. Paige made wonderful suggestions and neither of us were disappointed with anything. Give the cocktails a try- delicious!

Flint N.

Yelp
Food was fine, nothing special. They charge a 3.5% upcharge if you use a credit card even though that was not stated anywhere on the menu. I can't respect a business that does something like that. It's called the "cost of doing business." Guess it shouldn't be a surprise that on a Friday night, only half the restaurant was full. Meanwhile, I was also charged extra to sub out my chips for French fries and I think I only received 3.5% of a potato. Should have just kept the overly salty chips.
google avatar

Roger M.

Yelp
Ok, this is THE local spot for the Breinigsville/Trexlertown area. It's open inside, has a bar area seperate from the dining area. Big plus: outdoors dining, though limited, is great for when the weather is nice. The food is a step above what you'll find at a chain, like the places down the street. Tues: Giant Pub Tacos, Wed: Wing specials (hot n honey, or just hot) boneless or regular. Solid tap selection as well. Family atmosphere that gets a little more "grown up" after around 8:30, especially round the bar area. Solid wait staff, and personally, I have not had any issues with food or drinks ordered. TL;DR - Local, good food, can take a family for dinner atmosphere, not a chain.

Yelp
Years ago, looking for a break from family shenanigans during our Christmastime visit to PA, my husband and I happened upon this place. We would have taken anything, but the 1760 gave us a holiday gift basket filled with positive attitudes, well-made martinis, and a chill atmosphere. We promptly forgot where this place was and the name of it. On every PA visit since then, we've taken a break to drive around with hopes of finding our holiday oasis, but we've always ended up lost and settling for somewhere else. Tonight we hit the jackpot! We found the 1760 Pub-N-Grill! They still make a great martini, and our server (Sam) was very cool.

James S.

Yelp
Disappointed to say the least. Most unprofessional manager ever. Had an attitude because our drinks had bugs in them. Will never return. She is the worst manager I've ever talked to and should not be in the service business
google avatar

John Y.

Yelp
So let's start w/ I was a local to Macungie for years. 1760 was a Wing Night event for me and my friends for over a year before I moved westward. I found this place by mistake when another pub was to busy. Well, my friends and I never looked back. Between the service we received from the hostess, servers up to the bosses it was like we were part of the family. I even went for other specials, like the steak sandwichs. the food is fabulous for a pub-style eatery. So I came back to visit in April of 2018 and as the food was the same, and I would always go back for that fact only. The service was not the same on the Wing night. I am not sure what changed because we did not see any of the same servers from before I left. As I live in the service capital of the world, i gauge my experience on the whole event; service and food. I will say before I left this place would need a 10 out of 5 on both service and food, when i returned for those 9 days, i still give a 10 out 5 for the food. but my service experience was not teh same.
google avatar

Ml P.

Yelp
First time patron. Sat down at the bar. Bartenders didn't say hello or provide menus. Only asked for drink order. When asked about specials, the bartender handed over a list of items written on a guest check. Ordered clams which were so good we placed a second order. Unfortunately, the second order was prepared COMPLETELY different (and not nearly as good as the first round). Also ordered a chicken cheesesteak which was served with (home made?) chips. Both were good. Based on the service and lack of food and drink consistency, doubt we will be back.
google avatar

Chai L.

Yelp
My two times here were with a large group, so your experience might be different if you are in a small party or sit at the bar. That said, the first time I came it was the typical problems when there's a large group and people are coming in waves- the service was slow, drinks and food took a long time, and it took a while to get the check. However, it was a work event so people were coming as they left work and ordering separate checks, and everyone was generally in a good mood and happy to hang out. I had a cheese steak sandwich and a Yuengling and it was decent- nothing you couldn't get someplace else, but the sandwich was hot and not too greasy. The most recent visit might be my last, or if I do come here in a group I will eat before I come. It took over 3 hours to order and then pay for a drink and a plate of wings. The wings I got were not the flavor that I ordered and I never got a refill on my drink, but I gave up on hoping the server would come back and check on me and I just ate them. I wanted mild and they tasted like Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce. When it came time to pay, I never got a check. I noticed that everyone else in the group was having issues with their credit cards being run for the wrong amounts, including beers they didn't order, etc. After waiting over an hour for the check the server told me that she would have to come back and ask me what I had in order to get me a check. At this point I went to the bar and got a drink just to get change because I didn't trust her with my credit or debit card, and then went back to the table. My server eventually came and asked me to repeat my order and wrote it on a piece of paper while complaining to me that she had to wait on a large table on a Friday night. The server came back and took credit cards for other people, so people who came in after I finished eating were paying for their food, but ignored me. I had to leave at this point, so I waited in a completely empty middle dining room for a manager or the server or someone to walk by that I could stop and ask for help. My server spotted me, asked me again what I had, went to a computer where she printed a whole pile of checks while complaining to another server about having to split up the checks for our party, and then walked back to me AND COULDN'T FIND MY CHECK. So she eyeballed the amount that I should pay based on the menu prices and rounded it up, and I handed her cash and left. This is the first time in my life I didn't leave a tip for someone, but I am not 100% sure she even put the order in the computer and didn't just pocket the cash since I ended up with someone else's food. Overall I was so disappointed. I heard good things about the wings here and was planning on going here with my husband over the weekend to try the other flavors on the menu. But I just can't bring myself to do it.

Yelp
Children's day care- kids sleeping in bar at 11 pm on Saturday night. If you like that... head to 1760. We don't.

Yelp
Not sure what to say. First off the space is great. Great place to watch a game. Hence why it was super crowded for college football. If you're going here to watch tv and drink beer then I'm sure this is a 5 star place. But we sat down at a table. Our server was good. None of my issues are with her and i hope she found my tip reflective of her great service. My real issue is the food. I'm talking about all 5 of our party had terrible terrible food. I was told the wings were good here so we ordered some as an appetizer and they were overcooked and dry with very little sauce. It's like they didn't even toss them in sauce. Just threw them on a plate. The cheesesteak was almost all bread with no meat. It's a shame cause it had potential. The caprese salad was over unappetizing lettuce and gross cheese. My husbands steak was supposed to come with caramelized onions and instead came with just plain onions. Don't come for the food. Come for the TVs.
