Warm Up With Portland’s Go-To Hot Chocolates - Eater Portland
"Located inside the Hyatt Centric downtown, 180 serves up thick Spanish-style drinking chocolate and xurros to pair with them. The chocolate here is a house recipe with a nice touch of saltiness compared to other chocolates. While the hot chocolate is still quite delicious on its own here, the thickness would suggest getting an order of the crispy xurros for dipping. 180 is open for takeout and delivery." - Seiji Nanbu

"180 Xurros, the closed churro and chocolate shop from the team behind Ataula, will reopen in the Hyatt Centric Hotel. The churro counter will serve things like flautas filled with tortilla española, pimenton lattes, and customizable churros dipped in chocolate." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
Came for the churros, but they were a huge disappointment. Barely any sugar and they're cooked unevenly. The middle is not what you expect from a churro. Almost no flavor to the dough. If you want good churros, this is not the place. They'll satisfy someone who's never had genuine churros.

Super delicious churros. It's located inside of the Hyatt Centric hotel. We tried the dulce de leche and Nutella filled ones and they were amazing. Super fresh and crispy. Dipped them in sipping chocolate and it was perfect. They were so good we ordered some plain churros to use up the rest of the sipping chocolate. As others have said, the wait is a bit long for tiny churros but we didn't mind. The only downside is that they let you sit in 3 or 4 small chair areas or in the lobby of the hotel. They did not specify if that was the norm or it was because they were about to serve dinner, I don't know. But not a lot of places to sit if that's the case...

I was astounded at how creative they have made the churro. The variety is not large, but the quality is excellent. The wait could take some time as they fry the churro there while you wait.q

I've must have died and gone to heaven ♡
This is a chocolate lovers paradise. Sipping on a HOUSE XOCOLATA and eating a Chocolate Covered Xurros BANADOS.
It's super clean and well organized here. I had questions and Davida was very helpful and welcoming. I was here in the morning.

Freshly made and simply delicious. I’ve been on the hunt for good churros in Portland for years and FINALLY found them here, inside a hotel, of all places. Prices are incredibly cheap considering the quality. I recommend the classic xurros. Don’t forget to order dipping sauce!

It does take a little bit of time for them to complete orders, but be patient, all of it is fresh AND very worth it. They have Wi-Fi, outdoor and tons of indoor seating. Temperature is perfect, not hot and NOT overcompensating-ly freezing.

Our newest favorite find in Portland. The chorizo sandwiches are my new favorite bite of food in Portland. They make them on this long baguette from Spain and balance it with a tomato jam. Really delicious! My only regret is not getting 3 more to go.

I always get the fresh original Churros to eat immediately while hot and then save the chocolate ones for later!
