We had a great dinner, pizza, poutine fries, beer and sodas. Sandra was phenomenal! The food and service couldn’t have been better!! Oh and Bob Ross was everywhere🤣

Lovely place with great service! We visited as a large group of friends, and we had our dog with us. They kindly accommodated us on the outdoor patio, which had a beautiful view of the river. The food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

This establishment was recommended by another couple who was visiting the area. They both raved about the burger. First I have to thank Sandra L. for her awesome service and friendly smile. She allowed us to change tables to get a better river view and was so good about accommodating other requests, like a sampling of the sauces. The burger was tremendous! Beware, you'll need a bath afterwards because it's sooooooo juicy, and the brioche bun simply heaven. Definitely worth indulging. Their BBQ was also fantastic. Happy to report; Ladies room immaculate. One last note, our hat's off to Sandra for handling a very difficult customer with the patience of a Saint. This customer was completely out of line and Sandra did everything possible to extend an olive branch when it wasn't deserved. The overall experience here was great and we're looking forward to returning. Oops, don't miss out on their fabulous desserts!

One of my absolute favorite spots in Southern Vermont! Super friendly staff, incredible burgers, brick oven pizza and sometimes BBQ! Had the brisket sandwich this past weekend and it was truly spectacular! Great beer list, solid margarita, indoor + outdoor seating and an awesome lineup of local music on special evenings. Don't miss out, do yourself a favor and stop in!

Food was great,bacon in the loaded fries was phenomenal. Waiter was friendly and helpful, did a great job even though they were shortstaffed. Will definitely return.

My girlfriend and I were heading home from a long road trip and googling places to eat along the way. This restaurant was open the latest for a Sunday night so we chose it. Honestly the best decision ever because the food was SO good!!! We loved that it was LGBTQ+ friendly ❤️. The staff are absolutely amazing Matt and Stephen served us and were on top of everything, couldn't have asked for better service. My girlfriend got the bbq short ribs on Mac and cheese. The short ribs were the best I've ever tasted 🤤. I had the tenderloin tips and truffle fries, highly recommend! The cocktails were absolutely delicious. We have 0 complaints and will 100% make the trip back out to Vermont just to eat here again.

We loved the food we had, but the service was rushed. The head server was brusque to the point of being openly rude - asking what we would like and rushing off before we completed our order, audibly badmouthing other staff where everyone could hear them. It was uncomfortable. Maybe they were having a bad evening. But for these prices, I'd expect to not be made to feel like I'm wasting their time while literally placing an order 🤷‍♀️

We loved the Cajun pasta - we got it with chicken. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.

Food was good; service and drinks were not so good. The Baja Crispy Shrimp was excellent. My boyfriend enjoyed the Tenderloin Tips. He said it was really good. I ordered the curry bowl. It was good but I probably wouldn't order it again. The food we saw other patrons eating looked really good as well. The place itself has a good vibe as well.

well was expecting more, better....sort of a pizza place with an added restaurant....some interesting outside seating overlooking the river and downtown area....service ok but we had different servers most of the time...food was good but pricey...the short rib poutine was great, drinks were not...a small tangueray martini at 15$ ???....a side of fries 4$...pretty pricey for what you get....it was ok

Wow!! I was visiting a friend and had the pleasure of eating at 19 South Main. From the time we entered the restaurant I mean everyone was so pleasant and welcoming from Steven the bartender to Sandra the waitress. Sandra was one of the BEST waitresses ever. She was so friendly and attentive. Kudos to the chef! I had the boneless short ribs. They were so tender and delicious! My friend has the chicken parmigiana. The portion size was very generous and the gravy had just the right tangy spice. After dinner, we decided to go to the bar where we were meet by Steven. He was so friendly and outgoing. We enjoyed the acoustic music playing it really complemented the atmosphere. Looking forward to going back next year.

Food is good! Unfortunately as a local Wilmington resident, I feel like they don't really care too much about customer experience. We have ordered their pizza the last two weeks and they have broccoli as a special add on. We have no gotten the broccoli and when we let them know. They said they "don't always have it" So you should probably not list it as a regular add on then. Or maybe inform your guest when they place their order that you are out. Either way. Poor customer service. When you are paying a pretty penny for pizza prices these days. Unfortunately we will be taking our regular weekly pizza business to Tony's where they are consistent.

Spaghetti and meatballs were a big hit. The owner Stephanie is very friendly and incredibly welcoming. Great spot for families.

Sandra greeted us and took care of us from start to finish! Excellent service, that is so important. Great service and exceptional food! I had the Zuppa Toscana and the Vermont Burger with Hot honey Brussel sprout... they were over the top! The food combinations on the burger were instant mouth watering just to look at! The taste of that burger was unforgettable!! The portions were generous. I would drive back to this state just to eat here again! Did I mention the desserts?? I had to share so I could taste more than one dessert! Stay for coffee and dessert!! This will be a destination to come back to and enjoy another meal! Love the Bob Ross memorabilia, and this place is clean and very fast on serving their food! This IS THE PLACE TO BE!!

Great food and drinks. Had a few vegan options as well. Patio overlooks the river. They also had live music.

We have gone here for several years and loved it but we were very disappointed this year. They were very understaffed as there was only one bartender who was also the waitress and one bus boy. Due to this, we waited at least 20 minutes for somebody to come over and take our drink order. All of the food was subpar. The only thing that anyone in our party of 7 liked was the Brussel sprouts. The sirloin tips were chewy and the pizza had absolutely no flavor plus the three people that ordered pizza didn't get their meals until everybody else in our party was already done with their meals. A shame as we have always looked forward to our annual visit here. Hoping they can fix their issues and be as good as they once were.

We absolutely loved our time at 19 South Main Restaurant while we were in Wilmington, Vermont! Delicious pizza and fun live music. We loved our waitress Sandra ! The Sauvignon blanc was delicious. They have board games and cards for entertainment as well

My husband and I have visited a few times and love all the staff we've met. Sandra has served us multiple times (bartender and server one woman band!) and has been great! We also love that it's a Bob Ross themed bar with a TV dedicated to his show at all times, and with memorabilia and a chalk drawing behind the bar. The food has always been good. I love the Meatball sandwich and their mashed potatoes! Their salads are fresh and a pretty sizable portion. Their personal pizzas are very good. The crust is crisp and toppings are yummy. You can order big pizzas to go only. They also have a great selection of local beers on tap, and a full bar. They have other TVs; most play sports and one plays music videos. It's a little pricey for a casual restaurant but the portions, the food and the service make it worthwhile for a chill night out. A favorite of ours.

I am somewhat of a local and I've been wanting some more restaurants to go to! There was a live singer and the staff were incredibly nice. My server was Matt and he was so sweet!! Loved the pizza and was very pleased with my experience overall.

Not what I had hoped it would be. Food was not fantastic and service was slow. Plus super crowded on weekends during ski season. The bar area looked cozy but we were stuck out in the hall I felt. Plus the wait staff seemed new and a bit out of sorts when a child spilt a beverage, they mopped it up with very strong ammonia smelling mop. Not appetizing at all I am sure for all the other diners near by as well.

Steve behind the bar awesome. He recommended several dishes and the boneless short ribs with garlic mash were delicious. It melted in my mouth. Overall great staff and atmosphere. Definitely give it a try if in town.

We have been to 19 south many times since they opened. The food is always good, service is friendly and there is usually some good music. But last night they just knocked it out of the park! By far the best food served with the most impeccable service we've experienced there. From the second we walked in the door the staff were working cohesively, professionally and seamlessly together as a well practiced team. The food was fresh, hot and the most delicious we have gotten there. And the musician was amazing; perfectly tone and played to the crowd to enhance the experience not over power it. Well done 19South!

The atmosphere is very relaxing. The live music was spot on with mellow but rhythmic selections. The food was flavorful and well portioned. I had the short rib poutine appetizer and a Greek salad. I will be back for sure! Sandra was helpful and informative server too.

Nice spot right along the River. Very friendly service. The soups were obviously made on site and were delicious. My St Louis ribs and garlic mashed were great. The Cesar and Greek salads were plentiful and delicious. The Mac and cheese was nothing special but satisfying. You get plenty of food for your money. We'll be back.

The reason for the 2 stars is for the friendliness of the serving staff. That's it. Being off season in Southern Vermont, most restaurants are closed. We ended up here by default. Reviews are not good so we had no plan to come here but felt- it can't be that bad. But it is. There were about 6 tables being utilized. About 10 empty. First, cocktails were fine. Nothing special but good. We ordered mussels and eggplant parm. Asked for bread to go with the mussel and fries which is a classic pairing. Then heard that there were no mussels. Ordered chicken Marsala. Bread came out snd it tasted like the freezer. They cut it up before heating so it was a bunch a big croutons and no butter or oil. Then about 45 minutes later the server said our food would be out soon because they had to remake the eggplant. The chef called out and the sous "chef" was behind. Then the food came out - awful. Tasted like it all came out of the freezer. Eggplant was heavy and soggy with more coating than eggplant. Chicken Marsala was dry chicken with a weird tangy sauce. First Wilmington restaurant that we will never go to again. I don't know how they are still in business based on the reviews and then our experience.

My hubbie and I had some appetizers and drinks tonight here. The staff was very accommodating, and social. Looking forward to another visit! Your neighbors from Bennington VT.

We had been to 19th S. Main a while ago and had been a little underwhelmed to be honest, but they have since gotten a new menu (and a new chef?) because this time was fantastic. There were four of us, including two vegetarians, and we had wonderful meals. The house Brussels were really delicious as where the loaded tots. We had the mac & cheese, pizza, the soup of the day and an incredible special that was a stuffed acorn squash. Everything was delicious There were also fun holiday cocktails (December time) and some live music (man with guitar, laying down some 90's hits). A really great time and great food. We'll definitely be coming more frequently!

Want to say the pizza here is now amazing. However when I picked up a pizza few weeks ago the clerk took the $20 bill off the counter and then proceeded to say he did not and I was changed the full amount so basically I paid $53 for a pizza. There is no confusion on my part whatsoever. I was upset and said I would not be returning. Even after paying $53 for a pizza against my better judgement I was calling tonight to order from there again and the man on the phone auctally said after giving my number well you said you would never eat here again wow is all I can say wow. I hate writing bad reviews especially with a local business but there staff needs some customer service training unfortunately that's a wrap for me. I will not return there. I will say the food is very good and the pizza is amazing but to be treated that way from a local business knowing I'm in the industry is sad. Again I do recommend the food and the owner is an amazing woman unfortunately her staff did not treat me right and in hope that she knows how wrong they are!

I was in Vermont for a quick weekend getaway, and 19 South was the last restaurant I tried on the trip. This was easily my favorite and I wish we had gone here first. I had dinner here around 5pm on Sunday, and it was not particularly busy. Might just be the time of year. The drink menu is impressive, and there's easily something for everyone. I would strongly recommend trying some of the speciality cocktails. Orders from my table - bruschetta appetizer, mussels fettuccine, and chicken French. Everything was fantastic. I rarely clean my entire plate at a restaurant and I ate every last crumb. No room for dessert on this trip, but hopefully next time. The table across my me ordered pizzas, and those looked incredible. Honestly not sure you could go wrong with anything on the menu. 10 out of 10, I would have come here for every meal if I had known how great it was. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for great spot for dinner and drinks.

Amazing service. Mat was fantastic, and Steven made awesome drinks. Food was so good! Try the Vermont Burger and the ribs- youre mind will be blown. So so so good. Cant reccomend this place enough

5 star review from my 1st grade son! "Do you like games? Cause you can play games at 19 South. They make lots of yummy food. They make French fries, chicken tenders, Mac and cheese. That's why I think 19 South is the best." He forgot to mention the live music on Fridays! We always had fun coming here when we were in the area skiing! Clearly we will be back as it made a lasting impression on our family :)

We snuck over from the Grand Summit Lodge at Mt. Snow to have dinner here. First, the town is picturesque! We loved the very easy ride here from the mountain! It was cold outside but the atmosphere INside was warm and friendly. The server / bartender accommodated the picky needs of our 8 year old and gave him a pizza with no sauce. We adults enjoyed the popcorn cauliflower, a harvest salad, and a meatball parm sandwich. Everything was great. We had an attentive server and we enjoyed our food. This was a way better option that anything at Mt. Snow.

This place was awesome! The wait staff were so kind and welcoming and the food was delicious. They have so many options, from breakfast burrito to chili cheese omelettes. The interior was cozy and spacious.

What a delicious meal we had tonight. I loved the Chrispy Shrimp Tacos and washed them down with a DownEast Craft Cider. I can honestly say it was the best cider I have ever drunk! My husband had the Tenderloin Tips and fries with a Diet Coke. The portion was big enough to take some home for steak and eggs for breakfast. Our server Matt is a well qualified new employee who made our evening! He and the bartender Stephen are a great addition to the restaurant. Friday nights at 19 South Main is going to be out new winter hangout.

Came here on a day trip of Wilmington and it was a nice place to stop after a long car ride! The live music was a little too loud and the food took awhile to come out when we were the only ones eating in the dining room. We only got 3 thin pieces of bread to start with. Overall very clean and friendly service! The bruschetta appetizer was good, but overpriced. My parents got the eggplant and veal parm which they both really liked! I got the short rib Mac and cheese special which was very flavorful and the rib was cooked perfectly, but the sauce was not thick enough! The portions are huge! Nothing special, but decent food

Food is what you would and should expect. Meaning, what is on the menu is what you get. Nothing to send back and nothing to scream to the roof tips but would give it a A- Wait staff is friendly as is clientele. Have been a few times, will return, and recommend to others.

I was there last Sunday when we were waiting for our table. We heard the lady with black hair (maybe the manager in charge or a server) telling the host to give all the tables to Rocky. We all look at each other Like What?? But it was our first time there, so we didn't say anything. We wait for Rocky for 25-30 min to approach our table. In the meantime, my husband was headed to the restroom and noticed the other server wasn't as busy, so we were definitely confused about why they put so much weight on his shoulders if he can't handle it. Like really, come on??? Anyways loved the short ribs! Totally recommend!! 10 out of 10 food, 5 out of 10 service.

We are new locals to the area, and we are so glad to find 19 South Main as another option. We had two dinners recently and enjoyed them both. The entrees were delicious and the second time we enjoyed the pizza. The servers are very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts appetizer with a touch of maple and don't leave without trying a delicious dessert.

Friendly service, but extremely disappointed in the food. Maybe the worst chicken parm I have ever had. Overcooked and rubbery. However my friend had an excellent experience with his burger.

So it got rated 4.5, I definitely wouldn't say it was that high. Their apps were good. It took WELL over an hour to even get our meals. The service was rushed and not friendly. So maybe just because it's not New York pizza that's why it was so bad? We got the Buffalo chicken pizza and there wasn't an ounce of Buffalo on the pizza, and the chicken wasn't covered at all. It was basically stale bread with cheese and white meat from a rotisserie chicken. We had to ask for a side of buffalo and ranch to give it some flavor. The entrees came out basically cold and all 5 of our meals had no flavor. If you're a local maybe and used to this but if you're from out of state I'd definitely not come here. Also they offer one free refill of soda and then you had to pay which for the price of the food is a bit ridiculous. And the service was pretty terrible.

Actually less than zero for the review. But it would not post without a star. Here for 90 minutes with entees not served. Mac and cheese meal and fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and chicken. Seriously why? Took an hour to get 2 small pizzas. Tables are not full. Will not return. 3rd time giving this place a chance. Buh bye. I will add Rocky the waiter was awesome and did what he could.

This is a great new addition to downtown Wilmington. Something on the menu for everyone. Stopped in for dinner on a weeknight and it was pretty empty- very clean and large space with 2 dining areas and outdoor seating. I ordered chicken parm and my husband ordered the special duck ravioli. The portions were huge! The chicken parm was more parm than chicken but was still pretty tasty. We didn't have the pizza this visit but would certainly go back to try it.

Overpriced, mediocre Italian food with poor wine, bad alcohol selection, long wait times, and inattentive staff. Overhyped and misleading, many better places around here.

Wouldn't go back based on the extremely slow service. Forever to get a waitress and then forever to get our food - and this was the case for most of the tables around us. Was over 30 mins to just get the appetizer. Food in my opinion was not worth the wait.

I dispute the recent negative review, Tina my waitress informed my group that the kitchen was backed up over an hour. She couldn't have been nicer and it wasn't her fault. I ordered the Salmon piccata, honestly it was worth the wait. What a great place! Tina you Rock next time I'm in Vermont I'll be there ! Patience people!! Patience!

Wonderful aesthetic. Design of this place is so cozy and obvious effort was instilled. The service was very good, however, everyone seemed very young (not that it mattered). The food was excellent! We had macaroni and pizza, and although the bowls were a little wacky, they were very good. Very sticky cheese too. All in all, would DEFINITELY recommend. Menu was a little sparse, I might add. But everything available looks amazing.

Very nice ambiance and very friendly staff but food (at least what we had) is very much nothing special. We each had a sandwich with fries. The fries were doughy and the bread on the sandwich dry. We should have ordered the pizza. We saw them being delivered to other tables and they looked pretty good. We will try this place again and for sure get pizza. After that I will revise my review if I have good news to report. The fact that they have live music is nice too. Another impression we came away with was that the menu is quite limited. But, as I said, we will try again. New places deserve a few tries.

Live music, great food, super friendly staff + great service. Oh and very nice beer election. Had two very different dishes for dinner and both were better than great. I highly recommend this spot!!

We had a great first experience at 19 South Main last night! What's not to love with great food, wine list, beer, and cocktails as well as friendly staff and a casual atmosphere. The arugula and prosciutto pizza was great. We tried a beet and goat cheese salad which they had on special and finished off with the key lime pie that enough for two! I wish I got pictures of the other dishes besides the pizza. This place will be one of our go to's whenever we are in town for dinner or even for a drink at the bar.

Amazing surprise on a trip through Vt. Food and drinks were amazing. Sandra, our server could not have been kinder or more professional. Highly recommend!!!! Highly!

I came to Vermont this week and I went back to 19 south Main tonight for dinner with a bunch of my friends. We had a great experience, the food was great and so was the service. We had to wait a bit for our food to come out only because this week is one of the busiest weeks of the season. I love their food and I'll definitely be back again it was worth the wait.
