"1912 Ocean Bar & Rooftop at the Sawgrass Marriott’s Cabana Beach Club in Ponte Vedra Beach offers ocean views, exceptional cocktails, and a compelling menu. Its standout feature is the happy hour, running from Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Patrons can enjoy shareable appetizers such as roasted oysters with paprika herb butter or a charcuterie board with house-pickled vegetables. During happy hour, cocktails are $3 off, with the Blossom on the Boulevard being a must-try. This refreshing drink blends tequila with passion fruit liqueur, turmeric, honey, pineapple, and lime, perfect for Florida’s warm climate. And even better, brunch will be served at 1912 Ocean Bar & Rooftop starting March 3, 2024." - Megan duBois

Yelp
Amazing Oceanfront dinning experience! Service was great and the food was surprisingly delicious! Although we got there and there was a bachelorette party going on but it didn't affect anything other than being packed. The menu is full of small plate options. But don't be fooled everything is a generous serving. We ordered the cornbread which is served with your choice of delicious preserves, flatbread pizza with fresh basil and cooked to perfection. Ahi Tuna plate was amazing it is served with edamame, cucumbers, sea weed, and some type of delicious radish. Service was great a couple of bottles of a very nice PinoGrigio and the beautiful ocean view from this rooftop restaurant made it all perfect. Nice relaxing atmosphere, beautiful view and delicious food more than we ever expected. We will be back maybe tomorrow?

Yelp
I came here while in town for a conference with colleagues and clients. We started off at the rooftop for drinks and the evening ocean breeze prior to heading downstairs for our reservation. It took a little longer than expected to be seated; however, the setting of the ocean waves crashing in the background, along with the warmth and ambience of the heater made up for it and was a perfect setting for a late dinner. To begin, we ordered the seafood tower. It's a little expensive at $90, but you do get an array of options such as fresh shrimp, oysters, octopus Tiradito, and lobster tail along with multiple sauces and dips. Our server recommended the cornbread to pair with it. The jams and cinnamon sugar butter that came with it were to die for. After a long internal debate, I landed on the seared scallops as my main course. The squash fondue sauce added a welcomed earthy taste to the dish. Also ... if anyone ever asks if you want Okinawa sweet potato gnocchi ... the only answer is ABSOLUTELY! It was so pleasing with its almost caramel-like texture that I honestly could've ordered just that and would've been more than satisfied (not taking anything away from the rest of the dish, but oh my). The desserts included a peanut butter skillet cookie with ice cream and crème brûlée. Although I love almost anything peanut butter, the crème brûlée was the winner here. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Yelp
Came into 1912 on a Friday night for the first time. We made sure to make a reservation ahead of time but came early so we could get a drink on the rooftop before dinner. We arrived and valet is the only option for parking so just a tip there. Most the the valets to take Venmo which made it very convenient for us since I never have cash. We got to the rooftop found a spot and started looking over the drink menu. Drinks are on the pricey side but makes sense you are paying for the view. The Old Fashioned wasn't doing to for me so I went with a Dirty Vodka Martini with Bleu Cheese Olives. Our drinks same out and I will say it was a good sized martini and it was good too. I will say the Bleu Cheese in the Olives were pretty good too. Better then the last few I have had. We then came down for dinner and I made sure to order another martini since I like the first one so much and it was just as good as the first. We then had to go with a few apps of course. We went with the Hearth Baked Skillet Corn Bread and the 1912 Empanadas. Our appetizer came out with about 10 minutes. Both we good for sure. I thought the empanadas we a little dry but that happens with pulled meat but they do come with a Datil Aioli and Chimichurri which really helped out with that. The Corn Bread didn't blow me away either but the Jams and Butter Sugar Cinnamon Butter again helped to enhance it. I was have a tough time trying to figure out what to get for my entrée so I asked our waitress about the Pan Seared Daily Catch she told me it was Triple Tail which she said is simple to Mahi, Grouper, and Snapper which I love so I went for it. Plus it same with Purple Grits and I do love my seafood and grits. Once my food came out it looked great and they also did a great job with the plating. The sear on the Triple Tail was very well done and gave it a nice crisp. The only problem there was I think it had gotten over cooked because of that. There were a number of dry bites for sure but I will say the Carrot Puree and once again those Purple Grits did help that part out. I will say we had a nice dinner and was great seeing friends. Maybe next time though we would come back for just drinks and the beach views since none of the food blew me away and like it said early it is pricey.

Yelp
Very disappointing evening. Initially cocktails wet well. But as we ordered, the waitress was not paying attention. Instead of the dozen oysters we ordered, we received only six. When I pointed out we ordered 12 , instead of an apology, the response was that diners didn't usually order a dozen. Then there was the long delay between the appetizers and the entrees. The waitress came by three times and stating that the entrees would be right out. When one of entrees came out, catch of the day, it was dry, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for all that time. Otherwise, don't waste your time here, except for the cocktails and the ocean view.

Yelp
An ode to a low class establishment Perhaps it is mismanagement But... I'd rather go to an IHOP Because the service was a flop Told us they don't accept Apple Pay. Can't split the bill they say Nowhere to sit despite numerous empty tables. Better service in pig stables The drinks were overpriced water The decor from jimmy carter When the review you read needed time to rhyme Turn around and leave on a dime

Yelp
Beautiful rooftop. Birds flew by and I felt like I was one with nature. The staff are very friendly. They have fire pits to keep you warm on a windy day and a nice-sized TV (watched some of March Madness here). The flatbread was fantastic, generous portion packed with flavor and super fresh. We split the flatbread between 2 people. I got a fruity moctail which was delicious.

Yelp
Food was good - 2 Fire Breads. The rest of the experience was a joke. Sat on the rooftop for 20-30 minutes, no service. Came down to the bar that was supposedly packed... we were 1 of 2 couples. Drinks took forever, new bartender, so it' happens. Had a Buffalo Trace Old Fashion that was $28..... the frickin bottle is $29.99. Mezcal's Smoke Signal had no alcohol and was sour. Even the club soda tasted like soap and flat. Don't waste your time, the view is good and food is decent. Everything else is well below average.

Yelp
We really enjoyed drinks and dinner at the 1912 Ocean Bar and Rooftop on December 23, 2023. We arrived at our reservation time and took the elevator up to the restaurant. It was a little too chilly and windy to sit outside, but I did wander out there to enjoy the view for a few minutes. The sight and sound of the ocean was mesmerizing. We perused the extensive drink menu and the guys each ordered a Bourbon Smoke cocktail and us ladies decided to share a bottle of the Quilt Cabernet. We all enjoyed our drinks. For dinner, scallops and a shrimp dish was ordered. Hubby and I are accustomed to sharing meals these days to keep the calories at bay and quite frankly we can't eat that much - food portions at restaurants are crazy huge. We decided to share the Autumn Crisp Salad and the Pan Seared Daily Catch, which was bass. They served the fish we were sharing in a beautifully presented plate for each of us and it was delicious. We highly recommend the 1912 Ocean Bar and Rooftop!

Yelp
Made reservations and immediately welcomed by gracious staff. Loved that the managers walked around continuously to check on our table. Food was exceptional except the pancakes and maybe bc they were GF, crumbly and dry. Our server seemed incognito and would vanish for large chunks of time. But I loved the beach ambiance and food. We had a great time.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of visiting 1912 Ocean Bar & Rooftop Lounge for the first time in September. My friends and I were celebrating our birthdays (3 of us). First, we found a couch without a view. We ordered drinks, which were pretty pricey, $16-$18. Then a few seats along the front, with an ocean view, were available. I hopped on it and we moved. The view was amazing and the weather was perfect with the sun nearly setting. Our server seemed overwhelmed, so we only had one drink. I suggest hiring a few more servers as this spot was crowded. I will go back again, but will probably stick with beer or a seltzer next time as the cocktails were a little too much for me.

Yelp
The ambiance at this restaurant is outstanding because it overlooks the ocean in Ponte Vedra Beach. There is a restaurant on the second floor and a rooftop bar. We opted for the restaurant. Service was excellent from our waiter, Chad. Our party of six had the scallops, short ribs, branzino, Beet salad and cheeseburger. Everything tasted great. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Amazing view, and great drinks! Service could be improved, they seem to be understaffed. The server was super friendly and very nice, just the only one on a Saturday night. Which they had more help scheduled, other than that great place for drinks on the beach. Did not try the food, so can't comment on it! Definitely worth the visit and can't wait to try again when the weather cools off a bit.

Yelp
Beautiful Roof top bar!! We stopped in for a drink and the view is killer! It seems like this is a brand new building? You valet your car ( only option?) walk in go up the elevator to the top and wow so pretty! It was packed up there, lots of people coming and going but we got drinks pretty fast the server was great and hustlin, drinks are quite expensive ($12-20 per drink) but your kinda paying for the ambiance too I guess. I really liked my drink it was delish!

Yelp
The 3rd floor -Rooftop Bar with views of the ocean is priceless. Get a drink and enjoy! The 2nd floor -Restaurant ... has a bar, table seating inside and balcony. Along with a party room with family table for 8 to 10 people. Server, Brandy was great. Hospitable. Welcoming. Friendly. Food delivery was timely. The menu is limited, however the specials were an added bonus. Tastes varied among the group ... everyone loved the soup; and the Stromboli. Oysters a bit small. Fish and chicken good. Rib had lots of fat and was simply ok ... not a lot of flavor. Filet was ok. 8 adults roughly spent $1000 when drinks were added in along with celebratory dessert.

Yelp
First our server Joshua was the absolute best!! He knowledgeable of the menu, he took great care of us. The food was delicious, seasoned really well, I got the Mac and cheese, and scallops they were great. My wife got the crab soup and the fresh catch of the day which was halibut. It was awesome. The ambiance was beautiful, we ate on the rooftop, it was chilly but they had the heaters out for us, we will be coming back.

Mechelle C.

Yelp
Located on Ponte Vedra Beach, this restaurant has knocked it outside the park! Valet Parking is so convenient! The building has a elevator and 3 floors including the rooftop bar with an amazing view. Reservations are required for now, so call before you go. We were seated outside under the fans and even though it was 98*, we were very comfortable. Business casual was the attire and the ocean view again, beautiful! Service was swift and on point. Our waitress kept our water glasses full . We ordered the she crab soup which is incredible. It was full of crab and so creamy. I highly recommend this place! Oh, and the chef, Melanie is so sweet and friendly!

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
Amazing rooftop in PVB! Busy on a Saturday afternoon but plenty of seating. Both tables and barstools that look over the ocean. They even had heaters for this cool day. Live music started around 430! Views on the 2nd floor were also amazing. Table service and bar seating. Would recommend a reservation if planning to eat!

Yelp
Mah Wife and I decided to have a date night last night. The place was busy. Both the rooftop on the third floor and the main restaurant on the second floor were packed and lively. We got a table on the outdoor dining area just on the second floor. There was a nice breeze coming from the Atlantic and each table had ceiling fans so it wasn't that bad. Plus it was nice and quiet and we could carry on a conversation in a normal tone. We started things off with some mocktails. She got the Faux-Pache. It's made with Fever Tree Ginger Beer, pineapple, lime, cinnamon, and mint. I had the Almond Sangria Fizz made with Orgeat, white grapes, orange, lemon, lime, and club soda. Both mocktails were fantastic and refreshing, but we both liked the Almond Sangria Fizz for its light fruitiness. For starters we shared the Summer Crisp Salad and She Crab Soup. The Summer Crisp salad is made with a variety of summer lettuces, pecans, blistered grapes, bacon vinaigrette, and a fried piece of scamorza cheese. This was a tasty salad. I loved the blistered grapes and fried cheese. The She Crab soup was stunning. It's made with lump crab, roe, chives, sherry and garnished with a pane carasau. It looked beautiful and tasted like the ocean. It had so much crab and the roe was a nice pop of texture and saltiness. A must-have for every meal. Since Mah Wife is trying to eat healthier, she got the 1912 "Meatloaf," a plant-based meatloaf with an heirloom tomato sauce, roasted fingerling potatoes, and charred veggies. I'm not a fan of Beyond Meat, so this wasn't for me, but she liked it. Since I'm not looking to eat healthier, I got the Lobster Mac & Cheese. So creamy and delicious. And lest you think it's just small bits of lobster, fear not. There were whole claws and other large chunks of lobster meat swimming in that cheese sauce. And to finish things off, a rainbow over the ocean. If you're looking for a casual upscale dinner with a view, 1912 is the place to go.

Yelp
Vibes were strong at 1912. We had reservations at 5 to take advantage of the happy hour. We sat on the 2nd floor balcony and the breeze and shade made it perfect to sit outside and enjoy the view! Our waiter was sweet and attentive. The Blossom drink I had was fabulous and filled with flavor and attention to detail. I had two and they both were consistent. My friend had the Almond Sangria Fizz mocktail and it was surprisingly SO tasty and refreshing--our waiter said it was the Orgeat that makes it. Flatbread was simple and tasty, along with the fabulous salad. Everything was thoughtfully executed and as described on the menu. We went to the rooftop afterwards (first come first serve) and it was quite packed up there. Will definitely be back!!

Alison A.

Yelp
Loved visiting this new spot. Our server Chad was great. Aja and Melanie are wonderful! The tuna was incredible and perfect amount of food for me. Flat breads are awesome as well. I love a good espresso martini (wish they had Carve ;) they made it with without an espresso liquor which I love real espresso so I asked for the second made differently and it was perfect! I know some don't like real coffee but to me it makes all the difference. Hope to visit again soon

Yelp
This review is only for the ROOF TOP BAR. We didn't dine at the restaurant. The best part of this place is it's so nice to have an upscale place like this right on the water. The view is incredible. We went on a Sunday afternoon at 4 while the sun was up and sitting in the sun was great. However, when the sun started setting behind the building it got really cool really quick. You could really feel the cold ocean breezes. They did say that they are supposed to have portable heating lamps this week. That should help. We only had a glass of wine and their version of a charcuterie board which was very tasty. The service was excellent, very attentive but not overly so. The prices as you'd expect were on the high side but you can't put a price on that view! Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

John S.

Yelp
Everything was great--food, service, ambience. The only problem was how insanely loud it is. On top of the chatter was live music with piano. It's nice, but you literally had to shout to order anything.

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Location Off Ponte Vedra Boulevard just south of the club Parking PAY ATTENTION---complementary valet AT the VENUE-don't park across the street unless you are a member. Atmosphere Upscale casual-tv on third floor bar Seating Third floor bar-not much shade until evening-along the rail high top teats, bar, scattered couches Second floor bar, tables inside and on outside terrace Service Outstanding-from friendly valet to hostesses to bar and table servers-GREAT!! Food and beverage Wow! Everything yum! We had the corn bread-cane highly recommended-served with herbed butter and marmalade/jam-a bit dry for me ( plain- no corn kernels or jalapeños) but everyone enjoyed it. We had 6 in our group so everyone got a nice piece. We also had the flatbread-pepperoni not as good as bar que chicken-huge serving sliced into perfect squares. Chicken was more flavorful. Our friend split the meatloaf-served with roasted veggies. Mark the bartender out did himself with all our demands! The J Lohr merlot- yes, whole bottle-great deal! The cocktails were beautiful and satisfying. Extensive cocktail and beer selectionThe Jameson nitro was so delish!! Wish it was everyday at breakfast!! Yes, I wanted dessert but was out voted!! Next time! Summary Finally, a rooftop, open view of the beach/ocean classy restaurant/bar. Outstanding service, food, and beverages! Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Starting with the very friendly valet crew, they were quite friendly and valet is free. Ventured upstairs to the rooftop, with the unbeatable view. Very comfortable outdoor seating, lounge couches and fire pits, and then there are the cocktails. The cocktails are super unique And the bar staff makes you feel very special. Food was incredible. We will definitely be back many many times.

Terry A.

Yelp
Great location and awesome view, small space restaurant with outdoor seating. Inside dining area is loud. Food was ok but very pricey, they were out of the special after the server told us about it, also out of the filet. The New York strip was the same price as the filet, not very flavorful. We ordered the cornbread appetizer and it was served warm, not warm enough to melt butter. The tomato flat bread was basic, nothing special. For the image they are presenting the food needs a lot of improvement. Service was lacking for an upscale place. Server in the rooftop bar seemed irritated that she was having to work. Very pricey drinks. If they are wanting return business, they need to get their staff up to speed, in the kitchen and the service staff. The hostess seemed out of sorts.

Alicia H.

Yelp
Ok I was suggesting this place to a friend tonight & realized OMG I need to review it! One of the best drinks I've had in town. There I said it! Also the rooftop view is 10/10 and the inside view is also great! Enjoyed sunday funday drinks with my boo & some friends. Bartenders were awesome and my watermelon cocktail was so delicious! Fresh, light & flavorful and 2 of them packed a punch! We enjoyed the inside bar (and air conditioning) before venturing to the roof. As some shade set in on a warm august afternoon, we simply relaxed & had a great time on the roof overlooking the ocean. Time flew by. The drinks were delicious. Wait staff was attentive. View was so peaceful & beautiful. Wish jax & pvb had more places like this. We need to enjoy the coastline in an upscale adult vibe. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our first visit to 1912. While it is pricier than we typically enjoy, it was a nice splurge location. The beach views are incredible and since it is part of Marriott, there is a nice overlook onto their pool area. They offer complimentary valet upon arrival, so you don't have to worry about parking. And they do accept reservations, so you don't have to worry about a long wait. I do recommend getting there early enough to see it in the daytime to appreciate the coast. Regarding the food options, you really cannot go wrong from everything we tried. The seafood sampler was a winner for sure if you like oysters. We also tried the charcuterie board and cinnamon butter bread, which cannot be missed. And they made the prettiest cocktails. Not only were they beautiful, but they were incredibly delicious too. Don't forget dessert. We had the gingerbread pudding dish and our guests had the warm cookie with ice cream. Both were excellent. Run to try this place as soon as you can! Friendly staff in and out of the restaurant. Classy decor.

R Terrell F.

Yelp
The venue has a beautiful setting on the beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. If the food were good, it might justify the high prices. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. Happy hour appetizers were $15. The peel and eat shrimp were overcooked and the empanadas were relatively tasteless as were the sauces. Happy hour cocktails were also $15 dollars each. My wife and I decided to split an entree, so she had a beet salad and I had she crab soup. The soup was excellent (the only dish I would recommend). We decided to split the catch of the day (grouper) that was $44+$7 charge for splitting. No dessert. Checked totaled over $150 before tip. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant. Great view but very overpriced food for the quality. If you want to go for the view, I would recommend going to the rooftop bar for a drink and an appetizer

Amber A.

Yelp
It was fun. We sat outside on the second floor, balcony. Great view, drinks, food, and service. The Blossom on the Boulevard is an elevated margarita. (So good!) The charcuterie board (small and large sizes) was beautiful and delicious. The arugula salad with grilled chicken was so comforting. You have to try the cornbread, starter dish. This dish was so delicious; we did not need the toppers. The poke bowl is fantastic. We sat, enjoyed the food and view, chatted and never felt rushed. I also appreciated the complimentary valet service. All in all- two thumbs up.

Ira B.

Yelp
Everything is about the vibe at 1912, but there's a lot of good food quality and service to support this business for a long time to come. My wife and I went on a weeknight, not understanding that there are two levels, the rooftop bar, and a restaurant at the level just below the rooftop. She and I went to the restaurant, and enjoyed dinner and drinks overlooking the Atlantic. The menu is small, but we were able to get seafood dishes and a butcher block appetizer. Service from Joshua was excellent, a nice mix of effective and casual. After dinner, we went up to the rooftop bar, realized that wasn't necessarily what we were looking for, and departed. Valet parking makes everything easy, and there are either stairs or an elevator to get to the level you prefer. I would certainly be back at this excellent part of the Sawgrass Marriott restaurant group.

Lisa A.

Yelp
This place absolutely sucks. You're better off going to chillis 2 at the airport. Horrible service, bartender waved his finger in my face when I asked if I could put in a drink after standing at the upstairs bar for 25 minutes just waiting. I tried to get a drink in the middle bar but was told I couldn't go to the bar unless I had a reservation? The bathroom was extremely dirty, found a snow bag on the floor in woman's bathroom, and the whole place was a mess. If you want to charge $20 for a cocktail have a better facility, staff and management.

Kathy D.

Yelp
We were a table of 13 for Easter Brunch a 12:30 reservation, the restaurant is on the 2nd floor and we dined outside. When we arrived, the restaurant inside and outside seating was full of patrons. The menu was "Sunday Brunch". We ordered the following: Sunday Brunch Board $16, Ricotta Orange Pound Cake $15, 2-Coastal Mac and Cheese $26 each, Octopus & Shrimp Tirado $24, Seafood Tower $98. All of the starters were very good. Then the entrees, 2 of us ordered the 1912 Salad, with added chicken and it was dry and the salad had barely any vinaigrette on it. We asked for more vinaigrette and it took a very long time to get to the table, but at best this salad was not worth $28 each. They went uneaten. Four of us order the Steak and Eggs, three plates arrived and the eggs on top were runny and not desirable to eat. We told our waiter about one of the eggs and she came back with an angry overly cooked egg. I say angry because it looked like the "chef" (if you want to call the person cooking there that) smashed it down to be sure we didn't have any more to say about it and at this point we hadn't had any problems, but more were to come. The C&P Grits bowl $22 was tasty, we also ordered a side of fingerling potatoes (every meal these potatoes were on needed salt, but there wasn't any salt on the table) and a side of cheddar bacon sausages. Also 4 orders of the Adobo Braised Chicken $22 each, Mochi Pancakes, $17, 5 soft drinks and one Shirley Temple, 3 bottles of SanPellegrino, Specialy Firebread, 3 beers at approximately $8 each and 7 cocktails at approximately $20 each. I write all of this to have you know that our bill came to well over $1,000. They do add their 18% gratuity for large parties to that. As I wrote above, we ordered FOUR Steak and Egg entrees. Three arrived with not fully cooked eggs, we all had our plates and were finished and yet one Steak and Egg entree never arrived. Jill was our waitress and she was a very good waitress and she tried her best to tell the person waiting for their plate that it was about finished. Finally after a long wait, and all other entrees finished, a gentleman came out to apologize with the plate in his hand, he served it in place of Jill. When the plate was placed in front of the person whom it belonged to, the meat was raw. He did order it rare but not raw. We called the man over that delivered the plate and told him this entire experience was not enjoyable and how long we had waited for a meal and everyone else was finished and now it's not properly cooked! Also, cocktails took a long time to get to the table, but at the time, the restaurant was full, but later on the soft drink refills didn't happen until we were leaving, this Steak and Egg plate being late and the ones that did arrive had uncooked eggs. The best crazy part of this review is that not one table had any other guests seated. The place was empty! So they had more then enough time to make 4 Steak and Egg entree correctly and on time especially knowing that our bill had no limit with the amount of people in our group, and the amount of starters we ordered. We will never return and we will be sure to tell anyone to pass this restaurant up. What a disgrace.

Yelp
The best part about this restaurant is the rooftop bar and the views of the oceans. Other than that, don't expect a gourmet meal. First, their bartenders need to attend a mixology class because my simple Old Fashion did not taste even close to an Old Fashion. When I asked to make a new one, I was told this is the recipe they used...so I switch to a red wine. The food menu is interesting and again, it feels like you're eating at a Marriott. Nothing special, nothing magical, just plain old hotel food. The Rooftop is amazing as there's nothing similar on the beach so worth the trip for that but be warned about ordering a mixed drink.

Angela W.

Yelp
Great view of the ocean! Ordered a couple of different appetizers. Service was nice. No one would finish them. We all decided we were hungry so we went somewhere else for dinner. We'd only go back for drinks looking over the ocean. There is hope if they consider focusing on their food.

Lisa P.

Yelp
Beautiful space overlooking the ocean. You can't beat the views. Menu was diverse with chicken, steak and fish. But I had the Caesar salad with blackened chicken which was spicy but so good. Also a side of seasonal vegetable which wasn't anything special. Service was a little slow. I would come back just for the views.

Jan B.

Yelp
Beautiful setting in restaurant and upstairs bar. Bar is outdoors on roof top. Seated Rail along ocean side and good size bar on land side. A few couch sitting areas as well. Limited menu to eat up there. Elevator to top floor. Restaurant on 2nd floor much the same as it was as cabana club. The outdoor terrace has about 8 - 4 tops which are lovely this time of year. The door to the inside from terrace can be difficult to open at times and loud closing if let go. Our waitress was very good. Valet parking coming in from south end. 2 attendants on Monday night so pretty quick. Corn bread appetizer was just ok. Comes in the cute little cast iron skillet. Complemented with seasoned butter, apple butter and marmalade. My husband had the plant based meatloaf - it was moist and delicious. Would not know plant based. Our friends had the filet and bbq chicken special. All good sized portions and enjoyed. My scallop special was less successful. While I got 3 large scallops perfectly cooked. The rest of the plate was somewhat flavorless. The purple sweet potato gnocchi was terribly gummy and not soft pillows. The hummus like purée under it all had no flavor. The Brussel sprouts were under. Disappointing.

Yelp
Came here for an early evening dinner on the ocean and it was beautiful. Ambiance, dinner, drinks, etc. Make sure to save room for an espresso martini!

Yelp
One of the reasons I gave it a five was our server Alyssa. She was so friendly and upbeat. The specialty flatbread recommended by her was delicious. She truly made my Mothers Day special.

Yelp
Food was ok. Pizza was greasy but good. Drinks were amazing. Can't be the view of the ocean. Cece is a rockstar waitress! Heads up if you come for an event don't bring a a cake they charge $25 to take it out of the box and to the table.

Yelp
Come for the atmosphere, view and perhaps the crowd if you're into the low-key-chi-chi vibe here. Unfortunately, do not come for the food. Very disappointing in taste, skill and creativity. My friend want to check this place out and we had high hopes with the scenic location. We sat on the balcony and looked out into our gorgeous ocean, and the evening was off to a good start. The local crudo was soooooo good. Nice balance of acidity and sweetness with the tuna. And I love the extra virgin olive oil added--just really delicate and light. Cue in the entrees- They have a "filet" ...not filet mignon but you know for the price I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask what cut this filet steak was. The waiter had literally no idea. Maybe he didn't expect two women to know the difference, maybe I've just never had this question before, who knows. He looked like I asked him if aliens existed and was so taken aback by the question he actually left the table to find out... sadly he came back with the ominous answer "We aren't sure." Um, what? For my future foodies out there, filet mignon is typically a cut of the tenderloin--it is traditionally the tip, however more so you'll see the central cut and large end of the tenderloin sold under the name. Either way, if it's cut from that skinny little muscle that's what makes it so juicy and valuable! He could have literally said any part of the cow if it wasn't the tenderloin cut filet and I would have nodded and moved on--but I digress. Against my advice, my friend ordered it anyway--she is a carnivore through and through. She ordered the mystery filet rare--which is how she likes it; he clarified "seared pink to red center?" And she said yes. I ordered the daily catch. Both meals came out cold. Both meals were bland. And of course, her filet came out medium-well. Nothing close to rare. And when she showed the waiter he had the gall to say "it's a little pink in there." Very strange. I couldn't finish the cold fish, and even though they took the steak back by the time the rare steak came out it was vey late into our awkward meal so she got most of it to go. Potatoes were the best thing on the pate We did make our way upstairs to the rooftop afterwards to check out the bar for a post-dinner drink. It was fine, again no expertise at the bar so we got our usuals, made a few friends, got some pictures and . I did see some people with a flatbread that looked decent, so this place may be worth it for rooftop bites. Haven't decided if I'll give it another shot as there as so many other places with better service and cuisine out there. Seems like they are really putting all their faith in that view to be a successful restaurant, which is a shame. A little effort into training the waitstaff and chefs would go a long way. Also, put the extra buck in if you are going to advertise "Upscale restaurant" Make sure the cook understands temperatures of steak for one investment.

Yelp
The rooftop bar on a Friday night had no bar tender to make the drinks on the rooftop menu of cocktails. There was a server who immediately told us that she could make simple drinks so a martini was possible. The blue cheese stuffed olives are very good. Next we went down to the dining floor and sat outside on the deck. This was better for me to see and hear the ocean. The rooftop bar didn't offer me the same experience since I use a wheelchair and there is no place there for me to see the beach. The flatbed was very good. The short ribs had great flavor and was a complete meal with vegetables and risotto. Unfortunately this entree with sides was not served hot but more luwarm. The restaurant has potential to be great and be a solid 4 star establishment but it has to solve some basic issues first.

Yelp
This is a very very nice and elegant rooftop bar . Complimentary valley then walk up to the beautiful rooftop that offers a few different and cozy seating options . We went and enjoyed a beer and espresso martinis with friends and had a very nice time and can't wait to be back. Maybe we will give some of the food a try next time as the menu looked good. The service was also very good and we got checked on a perfect amount which is important to me.

Yelp
The worst dining experience in years for us! Staff unorganized, we were seated late although reserved, food so-so. How do they stay in business?

Yelp
Service needs improvement! Overall, great atmosphere and the food is good, but pricey. After being seated, it took a good 20 minutes for somebody to take our meal order. Nobody even bothered to give us water while we waited. The appetizer plates stayed on our table through the entire meal. At the end of our dinner, the server did not ask if we wanted dessert.

Yelp
My partner and I had an anniversary to celebrate on a Sunday - a hard ask for a nicer restaurant. The list of places that were closed was longer than our list of places we could go. More than one person recommended 1912 and l was able to make a reservation so that's where we landed. We were seated quickly, service was excellent and food well paced. The view was fantastic and the wind coming off the ocean was soothing. We went Labor Day weekend so the beach was crowded and made for fun people watching. My partner and I split the seafood tower. After debate, we also got a flat bread as opposed to the cheese board, knowing they would kind of scratch the same itch. The dipping sauces for the seafood tower were excellent and it was a fun sample of a bunch of different seafood. It was definitely enough for two people and was split well in terms of portions for that as well. I did make mention that it was our anniversary during the reservation but that was not noted as neither the hostess nor waitress mentioned it. The vibe I got was that this place, while pricier, doesn't see itself as a "special occasion" location and is catering to the club members and vacationers. That's not a knock against it but just something to note for those of you who are looking for a whole experience.

Yelp
Rude server. Had to pull up an invoice to prove I stayed at Sawgrass, I did, and was so awkward with server that I just had to leave while still calm. ‍

Yelp
We enjoyed dinner and headed to the rooftop for drinks afterwards. Ambiance of both was incredible. We got a table outside on the patio for dinner and the views were spectacular - even better on the rooftop where they had live music playing. Service was on point and quick. We shared a flatbread and the peel and eat shrimp, both were tasty and fresh. A friend got the shee crab soup and it was to dieeee for! I'll back back for that when the weather cools down :)
