This is a really lovely hotel. The spa facilities are excellent and it has an amazing rooftop pool. Staff are so courteous helpful and friendly. Breakfast had good choices and was very satisfying. We had a couple of very small issues with our room and the Manager Alan was absolutely brilliant in getting things fixed for us very promptly and went above and beyond to satisfy us.

Our stay at Hotel 1926 in Sliema was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and cared for. The hotel itself is stylish, modern, and perfectly located near the seafront, but what truly made our experience unforgettable were the thoughtful extras. We were treated daily to complimentary bubbles, which felt so special and set such a relaxing tone. The sunset boat trip was magical—sailing along the coast of Malta with a glass of sparkling wine in hand, watching the sky turn golden, was an experience I’ll never forget. On top of that, the daily excursions by vintage bus to Mdina and the cliffs were just incredible—unique, charming, and a perfect way to discover the island’s beauty and history. The staff went above and beyond to make everything smooth and enjoyable, and their attention to detail really showed. This wasn’t just a hotel stay; it felt like a complete Maltese experience wrapped in comfort and luxury. I can’t recommend Hotel 1926 highly enough—if you want something beyond ordinary accommodation, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

Overall very pleased we spent a week at this hotel. The location is ideal with easy walking to the shops, restaurants and ferries. The staff at reception were always attentive and friendly. The breakfast had a large selection and of good quality, I liked the fact you were greeted on entry and advised which table to use rather than wandering around trying to find one. We rarely had to wait for the lift. I was amazed that a complimentary tour was available in a historic bus with a trip to the Blue Grotto, Dingli Cliffs and Mdina. The beachside club was excellent apart from one staff member who was aggressive and rude when we had the temerity to drink water from a bottle not purchased at the facility, we didn’t know the rule but the message should have been delivered in a different manner. The bedroom furniture was far from standard and ideal with no wardrobes or drawers to put things away. A poorly thought out choice. There was lots of noise from very early in the morning from the updating of the building opposite including, contrary to my travel company info, Sunday. Ear plugs certainly helped and as we were advised before going it didn’t bother me as out all day. I recommend two trips, the Tuk Tuk tour of Gozo was awesome and you were picked up close to the hotel and The Sunset Cruise to the Blue Lagoon by Hornblower Cruises, much quieter at this time and sunset fantastic. Uber rides are inexpensive compared with the UK and if travelling with Jet2 I would forget the arranged transport (arrived early and got us to the airport too soon after lots of pickups on the way and terrible attitude) and go by Uber or Bolt. Overall loved our holiday in Sliema and very pleased I chose this hotel.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. They had everything we needed on the property, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurants were great. The amount of things you get out of a stay here, it is like a resort. It is very much worth what it costs, which is very affordable for everything you get in my opinion. They upgraded us when we got there free of cost. The room was immaculately clean and they came and cleaned early when we weren’t there. They helped up get a ride to the airport early in the morning. The pools are spectacular. It’s near a lot of restaurants and grocery stores, and is just a 5 minute walk from the Valletta ferry. I would stay here again in a heart beat it was truly one of the best hotels we have stayed at.

We were “upgraded “ to a room that happened to be a handicap room. There were no walls for the shower and the water never completely dried up on the bathroom the entire visit. We were also supposed to have 2 beds and got one but, we decided to just keep the room. Limited space to store clothes and toiletries. The staff was wonderful. The spa was decent. The beach club was great. Margaux was excellent! Would stay again for sure.

Everything i have to say about this hotel is positive! From the friendly/helpful staff, to the complimentary sunset cruise. Perfect hotel for couples, lovely and modern but tasteful decor throughout. Beach club literally is a 2 min walk away and has a great atmosphere. We ate there twice, both times we were blown away by the food. Rooftop pool is so very chilled and immaculately clean...be sure to reserve beds. The online app makes your stay really seamless. We booked our airport taxi (€20) via this and reserved sunbeds and made dinner reservations. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every day. Never too busy. Water taxi return to Valletta, for 2 was €9 and takes less than 10 mins. Honestly, one of the best hotels we've stayed in. Thank you.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The location is fantastic—conveniently close to a variety of great restaurants. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. A special thank you to Sathya for the smooth check-in and to Justin, who went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The hospitality throughout the hotel was truly wonderful—there was always someone available and ready to help. Booking spa treatments was a breeze, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire spa team—Tamara, Jackie, and the kind gentleman whose name we unfortunately missed—for making us feel so pampered and relaxed. It was the perfect way to end our trip on a high note!

Staff are particularly good, always pleasant and extremely helpful. Clean, comfortable rooms and we had a sea view as the room was on the ninth floor. Beach club was great with comfortable sun beds and direct sea access. Free vintage bus tour of Malta sights an added bonus. Thank you.
