1926 Le Soleil Hotel & Spa, Sliema Malta

From the very beginning everything was smooth — early check-in was arranged without any issues, which we really appreciated. Communication with the staff was perfect: friendly, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. The breakfast was super tasty, fresh, and well presented. The facilities are amazing, very well maintained, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel is excellent. Housekeeping deserves special mention for the lovely details — towel origami elephants and flowers, plus small welcome gifts, which made the stay feel extra special. The rooftop view is absolutely stunning and definitely one of the highlights of the hotel. Cons / points to improve We were offered a room upgrade for €5 per day; however, later I noticed that the same room category was cheaper when checking Booking.com for same dates. I still kept my original booking, but price consistency would improve the experience, despite I’m highest level on booking.com Inside the room, a few practical items were missing: hangers in the wardrobe, knives, and a proper shelf in the bathroom for personal items — these small additions would make a big difference. Also, since this was our honeymoon 🌙 and we specifically chose the hotel for that reason, the room view was a bit disappointing, as it faced directly into the neighboring building. Friendly tip for future guests If you’re planning to stay between January and April (low season), it may be better to book on the spot rather than far in advance — prices can be more attractive.

What a fab hotel. Everyone was great on arrival. They made a lovely effort for our room and anniversary. Gym and spa was also great and the bar was brilliant. Especially Min Kumar, he was brilliant and the cocktails were the best we have had. I'm fussy so I asked for things like 'a Little less sugars syrup' and they were actually perfect which is very rare for me so thankyou x x

Fabulous hotel with a true wellness concept, focusing on relaxation and very calm atmosphere. It adults only, the rooms are huge with small private pools and sauna, the spa offers a very stylish design and limits the number of guests to max. 4 at the same time, which makes the bathing experience ideal to calm down. The massages provided by Jacky and Alex are fantastic. All the staff in the hotel was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The small bar is a nice and classy spot in the evening. Only for house guests, so there is no hustle here as well. Breakfast on the Top floor of the sister hotel (just across the street) was another highlight with great views, top notch food quality with the luxurios vibes of what is a Michelin Star restaurant at night. We enjoyed every minute here and can recommend 1926 Les Bains to everyone, who is looking for a real Wellness experience in Malta.

absolutely stunning hotel and stay. the room was amazing, as well as the constant service and attentiveness from the housekeeping and staff. the amenities, including the sauna/spa, were so relaxing and never unbearably busy. the location was also spectacular and just quiet enough, which was what I was going for. i would totally recommend 1926 to everyone that decides to visit Malta.

Lovely hotel! Great sized bed and very clean. There is shampoo and body wash available. Rooftop is amazing with fantastic views of Malta. We will be back. It would be even better if there was hair conditioner and lotion available in the room as an amenity.

We loved our stay here and I am happy to give an excellent review. |The staff, without exception, were the best I’ve ever experienced. Every morning we were met with a smile and a chat about our day. |Breakfast provided plenty of variety to suit everyone and the service was efficient and personal - my elderly mother was given a wee pot of tea each morning without having to ask (after the first morning) - a nice touch!|The rooms were comfortable, with Nespresso machine, shampoo, gel, shower cap, bottled water all provided. As previously stated there was no wardrobe or drawers, but enough hanging space and shelving to suffice. Housekeeping kept the rooms lovely daily and provided any extras we asked for as well as a few wee treats at turndown. Sweet 💞|The spa absolutely made the visit complete for me - I used it every day. Very tranquil and a real haven in a busy world. |Dinner in the hotel was excellent and good value. |The hotel was located conveniently for the ferries and the hop on hop off buses and there were plenty of restaurants around to choose from. Not the prettiest area but that is nothing to do with the hotel!|All amenities were bookable online but if you prefer a human to talk to that was no problem. Handy to have a code for the room rather than a key. |All in all a great hotel to stay in and if you are visiting Sliema, would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. |Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so special.

Lovely welcome by the concierge with sparkling wine. Great room with sauna and plunge pool in our case and free bottle of wine on arrival. Big comfy bed and small balcony. We went in November so the beachside facilities were closed but my wife made use of the spa in the basement which was free for one person, one visit. Hotel is split into two buildings facing each other in a quiet side street. Good location for shops, bars and transport.

Just returned following a weeks stay over Christmas. The staff here go above and beyond to ensure you have a pleasant and comfortable stay and couldn’t have done more! |We had an issue with our room pool on the first 2 days but they resolved this by moving us. The complimentary massage was excellent and the breakfasts each day are really good (though a little repetitive). The fitness room is really good and the top floor pool has good views (but it’s ice cold which is a shame as you can’t use it in the colder months!). Good location, we walked everywhere and you can jump the valetta ferry in a 5-10 minute walk.
