Warm Up With Portland’s Go-To Hot Chocolates - Eater Portland

"Located near the heart of downtown, 1927’s cafe is only open on weekends and certain holidays. Many will recognize 1927 for its s’mores and marshmallows, which are also served alongside a highly customizable hot chocolate. Customers can choose either the classic or the peanut butter cocoa for the base, then upgrade the drink with your choice of artisan marshmallow. Those who want to customize even further can add sauces and toppings from the s’mores, which include things like salted caramel, heath bar toffee, or even rainbow sprinkles. 1927 is open for to-go orders every weekend." - Seiji Nanbu

A definite Portland gem. My family loves coming here. We love all the varieties and the espresso here is fantastic. Perfect complement to the s'mores. The interior decor is adorable and adds to the fun. All house-made ingredients and excellent quality.

When I saw a gourmet s'mores place when visiting Portland, I knew I needed to try it. My husband and I shared: - Bourbon Peach - PB&J - Whiskey Salted Caramel - Marionberry Sunrise The PB&J was my favorite of all of them. Be prepared to get messy when eating them! I enjoyed everything we got. The graham cracker and marshmallow were much better than a typical grocery store s'mores. I couldn't really taste the flavor in the marshmallow, just the topping. The price was a downside for me. $6 each when it's only a couple bites of food isn't ideal. I also wish there was somewhere to sit and eat and a bathroom to wash your hands. They only have street parking and it's paid.

Tasty little treat. The Marshmallow is like nothing I’ve ever had before. Quite literally melts in your mouth and not just because it’s warm. I ordered the pumpkin spice smore and was delighted by the mixture of sweetness and spice. Will have to come back to try other stuff in their menu. I did also like the little standing table in the front of the shop, perfect for snapping a picture before being on your way.

A visiting friend was the perfect excuse to come eat all the sugar! I'm so glad I finally got to check this of my Portland staples list! It was a busy Saturday night, that being said I don't recall waiting on line very long. We arrived with the line just reaching the inside of the door. There are QR codes on the wall to open the menu up on your phone. While watching other people's orders get made we narrowed down what we wanted to get. I think we got the salted caramel s'more, a chocolate mousse parfait, and a brown sugar latte. The staff were kind, informative, and loud! That little shop carries sound very well and it was noisy with all the excited chatter from folks in line. They kept the line moving between firing up delectable concoctions. Everything was marvelous and rich! 🤩 Too much decadence for just two people. Pro-tip, bring more friends!

The staff was friendly and efficient. The s'mores were tasty. You could tell they were made from scratch. I would have preferred to have a more solid chocolate rather than a sauce on my s'more. The mocha was delicious but the peppermint hot chocolate was a little too sweet for my preference.

Great experience, quality products, attentive workers. The whole ambience is phenomenal. We got the classic and the cocoa raspberry both were delicious and all over our faces! No seating, but there’s a tall table at the window to eat

I got married back in October ‘23 and we used 1927 S’mores Company in place of a wedding cake, and it was one of the best decisions we made! All of our guests gave rave reviews! They made the whole process super easy, which is SO helpful when planning a wedding. If you are thinking about doing a non traditional dessert for your wedding, HIGHLY recommend 1927!

Google
Got the trooper s’more, delicious and not too sweet. Going into this store is definitely more about the experience, and the staff toasting it in front of you. The decor, and camping vibes is top notch. They even provide wet wipes for you when you eat the s‘’more If you are only here for the s’mores, it’s definitely on the pricey end

Yelp
The epitome of everything I feel when I'm in the PNW. Cozy little spot with 10/10 coffee (oat milk!) and s'mores! It wasn't too sweet and just the right amount of freshly roasted gooey. I'm not usually a chocolate person either, but this was perfect. Plus, the staff was really friendly. Check out this spot for your after dinner sweets!

Yelp
Cute store with unique style. The people making our s'mores were super friendly and explained where all the ingredients came from and asked about our trip. The server made sure to avoid allergens which was greatly appreciated. We got the bourbon peach cobbler and whiskey salted caramel s'mores which were both delicious! This is a Portland must have

Yelp
1927 S'mores Company definitely delivers on the entertainment factor. They torch your s'more right in front of you, making for a fun social media clip. However, be prepared for the price tag. S'mores range from $6-8, and a hot cocoa is $6.50. It's definitely a splurge for a classic treat. While tasty, it's more of a one-time novelty experience due to the cost. If you're looking for a unique dessert for the 'gram, this is the spot. They do have a vegan option which is a plus!

Yelp
Wandering Portland. Shopping Eating. And then my friend and I ended up here. One thing I always tell her when we're traveling - we're already here - we may as well go or try it. And we did. Not speaking for her but I loved it. Walking in, it reminds me of a lodge. The decor and feel. Went with the service. So, friendly. Informative. Welcoming. It's not table service. You order at the counter and either take it to go, or eat there. Just know, there are no tables. It's stand up counter or you can eat outside curbside. Three ingredients. Cracker, Ice Cream and Marshmallow. Well, add a drink. We shared each as we had also just had lunch not too long ago and it hit the spot. I have to say, it was my favorite sweet stop in Portland. Anyway, freshly made and it brought back so many good memories. All that was missing to take me back to my childhood was a bonfire. This is a place I'd definitely go back to next time I'm in Portland.

Yelp
What a cozy sweet little place! I love the decor of 1927. Been wanting to try it for so long and finally made it in to try one of their gourmet s'mores. Stepping inside took me back to when I went to summer camp every year. It felt like I was inside a rustic fun camping lodge with lanterns and even some cool old signage. The menu isn't huge but everything is homemade - from the crispy flavorful graham crackers to the chewy light marshmallows that are toasted right before your eyes - and not blackened the way mine would usually end up by the campfire! I had one with a heaping spoonful of raspberry preserves on it and it was magnificent!! Highly recommend this super neat place for a yummy treat. Their hot chocolate menu also sounds amazing for when I go back on a wintry day!

Yelp
This was probably my favorite dessert place I got to visit in Portland! Smore's company was walking distance from my hotel which was very convenient. Their menu had a range of different smores and drinks. Everyone working was very nice and helpful. The inside reminded me of being in a cabin in the woods. We ordered the original 1927 smore and 2 hot chocolates. They make all their ingredients in house and wow the graham cracker cookie was too good! It was so buttery and soft. I loved how they burnt the marshmallow with a blow torch. The hot chocolates were my favorite though. They came with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, the graham cracker crumbles and two burnt marshmallows on top! We did not expect all the extravagant toppings when we ordered the drinks but I am so glad we got them! I would love to visit again and definitely recommend it to anyone who is a smores fan!

Yelp
Stumbled across this place when my husband and I had dinner nearby. I was looking for a dessert spot and saw this spot for s'mores; and my we were glad we found it! Line was long but seeing that they help each visitor build their s'more and torch the marshmallow to perfection, it made sense. The wait didn't feel very long when we were in line since there was so much decor to see and keep you occupied. We felt as if we were transported into a cabin. So fun! The girls were very nice and you can tell they enjoyed meeting customers and building their s'mores. We ordered one to share and we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! We wish we got a second one to try a different flavor. Plus it made us feel like kids eating a messy s'more. Hope we will be able to make a trip back up again one day and actually bring our kid with us to try a s'more that would currently be bigger than his hands. Haha

Yelp
The s'mores are worth the long line, I promise. Not only that, but it genuinely feels like everyone that works here loves their job and are passionate about what they do. Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10
google avatar

Yelp
Got the raspberry and chocolate smore which was a mouthful of deliciousness. Super gooey and messy, but they have wipes available. Staff was great and knowledgeable about the stores history.

Yelp
You're killing me Small's! The Sandlot came to mind when I saw s'mores and had to try it. Nothing beats a hot cup of coffee with a roasted mallow on top. Well maybe adding a Bourbon Peach Cobbler S'more. This place hit the spot. The lady's were very helpful in offering suggestions. This place is very cozy, almost like you're in a cabin and you just need a fire going on the side to sit and enjoy your treat. Not a ton of room inside but that just adds to the coziness. I'd come back for s'more!

Yelp
What a magical place! Love the carefully curated campfire vibe they've got going on. The menu ranges from classic to creative s'mores, and based on my sample size of one, are super thoughtfully executed. I tried the troop 1927 - the level of toasting on the marshmallow was perfect for me (although some may like toastier!). The whiskey flavor on the marshmallow was subtle, love the range of marshmallow flavors they've got going on. The cocoa was pretty nice and I like that they come with toasted marshmallows as well, will keep an eye out for a drinking chocolate special. Would love to come again and try more of their menu and specials. Step on in and be transported!

Yelp
This had been on my list of places to visit for a while. As a huge s'mores lover, I had to try. No complaints about the taste, it was delicious as expected. The store itself is very small so there's not much room for many people inside. The other down side was the cost. Paying that much for a couple bites wasn't worth it for me. I was glad I stopped in and experienced it, but I probably wouldn't feel like a return is worth it. Personally I think I prefer a cheap Hershey chocolate by the fire s'more :)
google avatar

Yelp
This place never disappoints. Never seen anywhere that makes s'mores as their sole business and then these guys come along and knock it out of the park. Great S'mores (food for good ratings), awesome space and decor and the staff never misses a beat to make sure every customer is tended to! They even have a little shelf to take photos of your s'mores to at fits their theme!
google avatar

Trista H.

Yelp
What a cool spot.... Not only is it unique and something different but the flavor and experience was SO cool. I got the spiced caramel whiskey s'more- yum!
google avatar

Hailley O.

Yelp
Seriously the best s'mores I've ever had! I got the original s'mores with the gourmet hot cocoa. I love how everything is made from scratch and they torch the marshmallows to order. I'm glad I got the hot cocoa too because it was just as good and even comes with a stick of torched marshmallows. I definitely indulged that night and honestly could've probably ate another one! That's how yummy it was. Eating the s'more can get really messy because it drips a lot and gets sticky. But it's worth the mess and they provide napkins and wet wipes!
google avatar

Yelp
A unique dessert spot that offers s'mores and drinks. All of the ingredients are made from scratch. The cookies have a shortbread texture and taste buttery. The fillings are all unique and very delicious. The servers are friendly and ready to answer all of your questions. It was quiet when I arrived and shortly the small place was packed with patrons.

Yelp
A good friend and I were coming out of a movie when she says she is craving craving ice cream. Hello Google...and 1927 S'mores popped up. It was actually inaccurate and they do not have ice cream which did make me sad because vanilla ice cream topped with a S'more is a new dream I have. We were not mad about it though. I have been wanting to try 1927 S'mores out for some time. This shop is meant as a full experience. You walk in and are transported to a snuggly camping space. It was so fun to watch our S'mores get torched. I got their seasonal peppermint and chocolate which was pretty tasty. Their drinks looks incredible - I am not a coffee/hot drink person but my friend got drinks and S'mores to go for her and her husband. They were out of their parfait but that has great reviews (and was sold out soooo good sign). That crispy cookie near melts in your mouth - perfectly toasted marshmallow - every part was delicious.

Yelp
This place is such a fun concept! Think, a leveled up smore with the works! I never thought a smore could taste so rich and unique. They prep your smore in front of you and hand it over to you in less than a minute. The menu is on the more expensive side but I think it's worth it! Keep in mind, there is no seating and it's a pretty small place to just awkwardly stand around in.
google avatar

Yelp
I highly recommend S'mores for both its tastiness and the interesting experience. After having a great meal in Portland, we dipped into S'mores for dessert. There was a line to the door but it moved pretty quickly and it gave us time to access the menu and have our selections ready to go. The store is designed to look like a rustic cabin or early 20th century outpost. It's adorable and the smell is AMAZING! I ordered the Troop 1927 because I love the combination of chocolate and peanut butter and I also ordered a hot chocolate. Sugar overload! It was entertaining watching them "fire" my s'more and the s'moretender (yes, that's their official title) told us about the whisky infused marshmallow (and others) that they make fresh in house. It was a blissful experience and I'm so jealous that Portlandians can access S'mores whenever they wish!

Yelp
S'mores before dinner? Okay! My hubby and I stumbled upon this place one evening and decided to get dessert before dinner. It's a very small space and they make everything in house including their marshmallows and graham crackers. We ordered the OG and the Pacific Crest, which is the OG with caramel and coconut added (think a Girl Scout Samoa cookie). They heat the marshmallow while you wait in line, put it in a basket, and let you carry on. The s'mores mocha was exceptional and the marshmallows were perfectly charred and melted through. The s'mores themselves were tasty, extremely messy, and not having seating and only a small counter to stand at made it difficult to eat (if you were lucky enough to fit at the counter). The marshmallows could've used a little more time under a smaller flame, because they were cold and unmelted in the middle, causing them to completely come out the side. Neat concept, $21 for s'mores and a mocha, fun for a date.
google avatar

Carrie B.

Yelp
We had fun picking out the type of s'mores we would have! My daughter had the OG, I had the coconut s'mores, and my husband had the peanut butter one. I would have to say that while it was an experience, $6 and $7 for s'mores is still a little much! And they are super rich! I think I could have shared 1 and been just fine. While there is almost always a line, it moves pretty quickly, and everyone is very friendly!
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
This is the kind of dessert spot I want in every city. We have enough ice cream to go around already! Not only is the themed decor cute and the employees friendly, they have the best hot chocolate I think I've ever had in my life. The homemade toasted marshmallow on top and the taste of the ganache base really seals the deal. Ironically, I do admit the hot chocolate was my favorite part. The smores were good, but a bit pricey and rather small. Still, I'd pay the price again for the unique experience.

Yelp
My fiancé and I have been loving trying new dessert places after our dinner dates. We decided to try 1927 S'mores Company after one night. The place is in Downtown Portland. The shop itself is very small. There is a bar at the front of the shop for people to stand and eat their s'mores. Service was great, staff were very nice & friendly. The experience is very intimate. You get to watch the staff make your s'mores for you while they explain what they are doing along the way. Giving you details like their marshmallows are made in house as well as the flavors of the marshmallow you're getting if you order a special flavor s'mores. We ordered the original 1927 and the pacific crest s'mores. Of the two, I recommend the pacific crest, it's much like your classic s'mores but with some extra richness because of the caramel & coconut flakes. The marshmallows were very yummy, very melt in your mouth! The drinks were good as well. We got the peppermint hot cocoa and s'mores mocha. The hot cocoa was not as rich as I was hoping but still good. The mocha on the other hand was so yummy, especially with those big marshmallows on top. Overall, it is just s'mores & they are a little pricey when you think about it. But it's a fun experience & a yummy one too! This place is definitely one you should try at least once or every once in a while as that special treat.
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Such a cute dessert spot if you like s'mores! Love that everything is housemade including the graham cracker. They also do seasonal specials which I didn't try this time around. I tried the bourbon peach which to me tasted like a mini peach cobbler since their graham cracker had the consistency of a fresh baked pie crust The portions are small which make sense, a s'more can only be so big. Will be back and will wanna try their other flavors!

Yelp
my boyfriend and i were in portland on vacation and one night grabbed sushi for dinner. after we wanted something sweet and decided to yelp what was in the area. i saw this place come up and realized it was around the block to where we were. we walked over and wow! this place is so stinkin cute! the dimmed lighting, the camping/campfire decor and all the workers making fresh marshmallows, hot chocolate and roasting the mellows was such a cool experience. all the workers were super nice too and gave us their recommendations. we loved it so much we came back the next night. we literally tell everyone that's in portland to go here. it's the perfect little treat. super low key and just a cool experience.
google avatar

Constance P.

Yelp
If you choose only one place to have dessert or a snack it should be this place. Great service and specials and it's just a perfect place to enjoy a classic s'more and more! The atmosphere is like the set of a play and the drama is trying to decide which s'more to order. The pairings of flavors and the quality of the ingredients are brilliant and memorable. This place is such a wonderful treat.
google avatar

Kayla H.

Yelp
Walking into the 1927 S'mores Company was like walking into a cabin in the woods. It was extremely cozy and warm - the decor attributed to the atmosphere. I got the pacific crest and it was delicious! Everything is made in house and they assemble everything right in front of you. I've never seen a dessert shop only specializing in s'mores so kudos for the unique idea. Overall, the dessert was tasty but be ready with napkins because it is messy. I'd say the s'mores are a bit overpriced coming at $6-8 a pop but I'd still say to check it out.
google avatar

Charlyn G.

Yelp
Gooey, Sweet, and chocolate galore of a delectable. 1927 S'mores Company is your go-to dessert shop when you're craving that outdoorsy classic campfire dessert, we call s'mores. This is not for the savory over sweet tooth person. This place is for folks who have a sweet tooth. Me and my friends stumbled upon this shop when we were walking around the city. And let me tell you, their gourmet s'mores will leave you sugar levels well above satisfied. This place offers a classic menu offered year-round and a seasonal menu. Once you order your s'more, you get to see them create it before your eyes. I thought this was a cool experience. It's not everyday you get to see someone use a blow torch. I will say, the toasting of the marshmallow does take a while, but it's well worth it in the end.
google avatar

Ben S.

Yelp
Really cool dessert spot that I have wanted to try forever! I think this has the potential to take off like donuts, cupcakes, etc. It's kind of like a reverse Cold Stone where you choose your S'Mores and then they torch it for you on the spot. We appreciated the homemade graham crackers and marshmallow. Interestingly they use chocolate sauce instead of solid chocolate. The different options are pretty great and hard to choose from. Super messy but they give you a wet wipe to clean up. Standing room only for enjoying your treat. Would be great for a late night snack!
google avatar

Sam V.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Such a cute shop and they offer drinks plus photogenic scenery for your s'more pics. The women working were so helpful to each customer walking through the door and gave us lots of details about the process and where/how the ingredients came from. We were impressed.
google avatar

Kathleen T.

Yelp
LOVED the décor, the theme, the staff. We stayed at the Hyatt nearby, so it was a few steps away. I thought the idea of this location was pretty unique and I love that they not only made their own marshmallows, but also had a whole show in front of you to toast them with a torch. We tried The Original 1927 and the Troop 1927. Though I loved the idea, theme and staff attitudes while visiting, I felt like $7 for a s'more is quite steep. They're not really shareable (we tried, but it created more of a mess), as the toasted marshmallow on some of them practically liquify and become a messy, sticky blob that you just want to eat as fast as possible to minimize the mess. They are, however, gracious enough to provide wet naps as well as napkins at the little counter that is facing the street! Both were a little TOO sweet for my liking, but I felt like the experience was more memorable than the taste. Idea was cool to visit once; I would recommend it for first timers, but I personally would not need to return.
google avatar

Kelley S.

Yelp
This is a must when in Portland! The S'Mores are delicious, the service was great, so friendly, and the ambiance feels like you're at camp! The Peach was tasty, but I still like the traditional s'more the best! The Pacific Crest comes in at a close 2nd! Don't miss out on this amazing gem!
google avatar

Darylynn D.

Yelp
This is such a fun concept!! Who goes out and buys s'mores??! Not the ingredients for s'mores, but have it being made in front of you with a blow torch. When you enter you get a very outdoorsy feel. They have different combinations of cookies, marshmallows and chocolates to choose from. I had the Hot Butter Pecan which is part of their specials menu. The marshmallow was pumpkin spice, spicy caramel & crushed pecans. Who has had spicy caramel? I haven't so I had to try it out. It wasn't too sweet which was very surprising. They have hot chocolate and other drinks too.
google avatar

Breanna A.

Yelp
So good I had to visit twice in one week! I love s'mores and was so excited to try out 1927! They have regular and seasonal s'mores - I tried the original and the date night s'more (chocolate graham, chocolate ganache, raspberry, and Pinot noir mallow. Both so good and being able to watch them make it in front of you makes it an experience as well. The staff is super friendly, cute space, but the shop is on the small side. If there is a line of people then there isn't much space to eat your s'more inside. The second visit there was a long line so we're we're stuck outside in the cold until we could fit inside. If they had to ability to double the space to add room for seating or even added some heat lamps outside I think they would have it made.
google avatar

Amanda V.

Yelp
Did I drive 19 miles for a $6.50 s'more? Yes. Did that s'more have whiskey in it? Yes. Would I do it again? Also yes. My pick? A whiskey salted caramel s'more, featuring a Westward Whiskey marshmallow, honey grahams, and salted caramel. Pro tip - know what you want before you go! Each s'more is individually made and that process takes a minute. The space is small and fills fast; standing room only at a small window ledge if you want to eat inside.
google avatar

Neesh S.

Yelp
We were grabbing a drink nearby and were recommended this place, and boy were we happy we stopped by! I'm not a huge S'mores guy because I'm not big on marshmallow, but trust me when I say, this is not even close to anything you've had before. The marshmallow itself is house made and sooo good but you throw in the other toppings/sauces and you're in another world. The star though is the house made graham crackers. Those things are addictive!
google avatar

Caroline X.

Yelp
Different snack, good after-dinner treat. I got the original, must try if you're in the neighborhood!
google avatar

Xavier I.

Yelp
Friday 9/22/23 I'm not a fan of s'mores (I think they're alright) but even I can't deny that the concept and idea of this spot is very creative and unique. They make the s'mores right on the spot for you which is a pretty cool and entertaining process. The customer service was friendly. I got the OG smores for 6$ and it was alright but for that price tag it's definitely overpriced in my opinion. I think this is a cool place to check out, it's not really for me but I could see others loving this especially s'mores lovers. [tip: make sure to check in on yelp to receive a 10% off coupon]

Yelp
This place is so awesome. Why don't we have one of these in LA?! I don't think I have ever come across a place that specializes in one specific type of dessert. I would highly recommend the Whiskey Caramel S'mores! The only downside was no seating. I notice a big difference (for myself) in speed of consumption between sitting vs standing lol.
google avatar

Eric L.

Yelp
The service was awesome. The person who made our s'mores was very entertaining with great convo and great at making smores. Very knowledgeable about the smores and cookies they offer. Our marshmello were perfectly toasted. Overall it was better than expected. We also tried the iced cocoa. It was alright, not good enough to get it again. The location is a bit small and the line did start to fill the whole place.

Yelp
Found this place looking for something sweet after dinner. The interior decoration does match the aesthetic of Portland quite well. The team was extremely kind and welcoming to their store. The team said we had come at a great as the wait was not as long, but I can see how this place can get an extremely long line with each S'more being made right in front of you! As a huge S'mores fan, this was a no brainer for me. My wife and I got the Pacific Crest S'more. For me, It was amazing and kicked me into a sugar coma. It was a bit too sweet for my wife so I was the lucky one to have seconds! A little pricey for a S'more but I would recommend at least trying this place once.

Yelp
Visiting from VA! My friend really wanted something sweet that wasn't ice cream and we came across this place. I LOVEEEE s'mores so I was excited about it, and they did not disappoint. The decor was nice and the employees there were so sweet (whoever made my s'more deserves a raise!). They recommended different s'mores for us and even told us their personal favorites. I opted for the OG and it was delicious -- roasted to perfection! Apparently, they house make everything which I find to be cool! The graham cracker was probably one of the best I've ever tasted. I definitely had a sugar rush after eating this, but it was well worth it! ENCORE, ENCORE!

Yelp
Happened upon this randomly while in downtown Portland. Such a cute, warm and cozy place everyone super friendly and helpful aside navigated the menu I was gonna have only hot chocolate but they had a seasonal special that I never make so I was curious and got it. It was delicious and so cute and pretty and I didn't share with anyone. The peach compote was so delicious. Homemade marshmallows are such a treat and so different than the sugar balls of flavorless things when you buy it in a bag at the store.

Yelp
Great concept! Tasty and indulgent treats. Super messy but enjoyable. They have wipes for you! Note that not all types come with chocolate/fudge. The team there is friendly and informative. The "show" is worth waiting for your s'mores!

Yelp
Their service is extraordinary. They make their own marshmallow and cookie in house. They really take their time to make your smores fancy. My kids love it and they love the experience of looking at the melting marshmallows while they torch it. It was an amazing experience and will definitely come back in the area.

Yelp
We want some more. We want some more. We want some more. Coach Herman Boone from "Remember The Titans" said it right. We want s'mores!! I got a taste of cocoa raspberry, pacific crest and whiskey salted caramel. Each one of these desserts brought with it an exquisite experience. The cocoa raspberry pairing was like Silk Sonic. It was both sweet and deep with the chocolate combination with the fruit. The Pacific Crest was a coconut smore delicacy. Potent coconut taste. Lastly, the whiskey salted caramel packed a flavor punch. Great blend of flavors and textures. Furthermore, the toasting on each of these smores were absolutely, wonderfully gooey. It was amazing. This is a dessert that is a messy on your hands, so make sure you don't wear your best outfit in case you have some spillage. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised because I thought s'mores are just a camping treat, but this company made it artisanal. FYI, there isn't any tables, so this is definitely an eat it right there kind of place.

Yelp
What a concept! To take a childhood classic that is so simple and elevate it with different types of jams and chocolates and serve it up in a variety forms? Absolutely genius. I mean, we were literally waiting in line for a good 45 minutes before we were able to even seek refuge inside the cabin-like interior, and then another 30 minutes to get our delicate dessert. While we were on this adventure, I had changed my order up a solid five times before I saw somebody walk out with a parfait and knew that with how unique that dessert looked I had to make it mine. It was light and fluffy and chocolatey and marshmallowy. Everything that you would want in s'mores but in a cup. The people working there were super nice and helpful and really put love into creating each individual smore. I definitely would recommend coming back and even better if you can come back on off peak hours so that you're not waiting as long. I also wish that their menu would be a little bit more clear because some of their stuff that seasonal is not advertised in the physical location, you're just have to be in the know and see what is posted online lol (lemon curd, Marionberry options).

Yelp
During my vacation in Portland, my husband and I stayed in a hotel close to this store. So, after dinner, we went there to try their famous s'more and we were happy about our choice. My husband tried the original, while I ate one seasonal with chocolate and jam. Mine was very good (maybe the only thing I can say there was more jam than chocolate). It's also nice to watch while they're doing the s'mores. The service was nice and fast! The place is very tiny, but cozy. They just have few seats.
