Near the Alamodome, this indie shop turns out crisp pies with playful specials and a tight beverage list. Recommended by local outlets during major events, it’s a convenient and quality downtown-adjacent pick.

Went for early dinner on a Saturday evening. Really like the casual vibe and order at the counter setup. It was neat to see the staff rolling, kneading, and tossing dough just a few feet away behind the counter. We order a pesto pizza, dozen wings, and chips. Can’t say I’ve ever had a pesto pizza, which was a unique experience. It didn’t come out well-done as we requested but was nonetheless tasty. The wings, however, were wayyyy too salty and tad bit over fried. Me not wanting to waste food tried to eat as many as I could but it was not very enjoyable. Overall, though glad to have tried a new place, not quite sure I’d return.

Delicious brick oven baked pizza + wings. I had the meat lovers pizza & my wife had the pinneapple sirracha wings. Wings were nice & moist with lots of flavor. Pizza was delicious! Definitely recommend this place. Beer on tap was a huge plus!

My husband just came home with a pizza spontaneously after his work shift. At first I was a little upset because I had already planned dinner, but after taking a bite from a slice. . .Wow. let's give this pizza a round of applause 🙌 👏 👌 friends I have died and gone to pizza heaven, I was no longer upset, I sat down and devoured 2 slices of pepperoni and Italian sausage. I don't remember if I took a breathe between bites that's how amazing the texture of the dough to the zesty flavorful the sauce, that sausage ugh so freaking good!! I wish he brought home 2 pizzas lol. A++ absolutely recommend you to eat here!

We visited Black Laboratory Brewing for dinner on the night we arrived in San Antonio for a quick trip. We knew they "had pizza", but we had no idea that it would be some of the best pizza we've eaten in years. No joke. Located inside of Black Laboratory Brewing, 2-1-Dough Pizza Co. is worth a visit even if you don't drink beer. If you visit and do drink beer, you should because the brewery was also worthy of 5 stars. But, I digress. We started with the Brussels sprouts. My husband and I devoured the flash fried Brussels with their perfect balance of lemon, parmigiana cheese, and honey. They weren't too sweet or too tangy, just perfection. I convinced my husband to try The Situation, a pizza with a pesto base, topped with pepperoni, salami, basil, red onion, pepperoncini, red pepper, and mozzarella. He's usually a pizza purist who insists on red sauce, but he agreed to split this one with me, and we BOTH loved it! We loved it so much that we returned the next night to order both the Brussels and The Situation again. We saw several salads that looked incredible, as well as wings and fried cauliflower. I imagine that anything they prepare would be delicious. Their crust may be the best crust we've ever eaten. The interesting combination of flavors was just perfection. You should definitely try this place!

No shit, it’s legit! Rolled up on a Thursday @ 9:17pm, Roll out the red carpet for a party of 11 mid west farmers. What a trip, a great business celebrating the 2 year anniversary. Skipped across the room for Kool-Aid and beers. All good great people doing it right. David Portnoy would be impressed. Pizza, wings, cheese bread. You will not leave hungry!

One of my favorite wing spots in sa the pineapple sriracha is usually my go to wings but on this day I had ox sauce and Cajun both were phenomenal.

As you enter, the flames gently fill the wood-fired brick oven, beautifully embracing your pizza from top to bottom. I started with the Brussels sprouts appetizer, which was delicious. For my pizza, I went with the classic pepperoni. The quality of the pepperonis was outstanding—definitely worthy of five stars. However, I would rate the crust six stars if I could; it was amazing. If the pizza and appetizers weren't enough, the hospitality is something you rarely see anymore. Miranda was at the counter when I arrived and welcomed me as if I were family. After thoroughly enjoying my meal, complemented by a big Red soda, the owner came by to thank me for coming in and to ask if I enjoyed the food. I told him that everything—from his staff to the food—was excellent. Not only will I be returning, but I’ll also be bringing my family and friends next time. If you live within 60 miles, I highly recommend you give this family-owned restaurant a try. Growing up in Texas, having a Big Red to drink makes you feel right at home. By the way, their establishment is located right next to a brewery. Pizza and beer—they're playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. I wish I could leave six stars!
