Absolutely delicious and perfect lobster Benedict. The lobster was delicious, the eggs were perfectly poached and the biscuits it came on, wow! Their breakfast potatoes are delicious and they have their own house made hot sauce that was very tasty. Highly recommend!

Okay not able to do a clear a restaurant review without getting mixed into inn option. The food was really excellent. Went there for take out a few times, and it was clear they take their prep and cuisine very seriously. The ingredients they used were absolutely the perfect ripeness and very quality which made everything come together perfectly!! The lobster omelette was excellent. The ingredients used almost perfectly seasoned it, however a few sprinkles of salt really made it pop! The sausage link is delish, and the eggs are prepared spot on! Perhaps the best biscuit I have ever had. So light and airy and the strawberry butter pairs exquisitely with it. The floral garden in the front is equally planned out and maintained, so no surprise the food is fantastic. Staff was great and they can sit you indoor, patio, or deck seating! Only ate breakfast there, and would go anytime I was ever in the area.

My husband ordered the smoked trout omelet and said it was the best omelet he had ever eaten. I ordered the moose track pancakes, and they were delicious. Despite temperatures in the low 50s, the excellent coffee stayed hot in the chunky mugs. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We would highly recommend 2 Cats for the great food. All the beautiful flowers were a bonus.

We were sat outside in their covered porch due to our party size and even though they had a greater, it was pretty chilly. The service was impeccable. The coffee drinks took a little long but the food came so fast. Blueberry pancakes were very good. The biscuits were so fluffy. The location is also really nice because it’s off the main strip.

Went in right when they opened after coming down off Cadillac Mountain. Cute place, mostly friendly staff. Our server was great but some of the others didn’t seem too approachable. Food was good and bad: Coffee was okay. Blue berry pancakes were not good. Felt like maybe a key ingredient was left out because they tasted like nothing. Had to drown them maple syrup. Got a side of spicy sausage as well which was super dry. Could be the style of the sausage but I did not like. The good: the Lobster Eggs Benedict was amazing. Probably the best dish we have had so far. Egg was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious.

Frustrating breakfast. First of all, it seemed the hostess was being thoughtful about where to put me when I arrived alone and then I realized I was seated at a lopsided table, propped up against a wall. The server was attentive. I ordered the salmon benedict which came on a very obviously under cooked biscuit, with thick slices of raw white onion. When I told the server about the biscuit, she gladly took it back for me and returned with another plate and checked in again after. The next biscuit was a bit better, but still very obviously under baked, the eggs were overcooked, and the potatoes were undercooked and under seasoned. This was all before they started cramming huge groups into the tiny rooms. I imagine this place was great in its day, but it feels like they aim their quality for tourists coming in and out so quickly without worry of them ever coming back.

I was looking for a location to host a surprise brunch for a casual engagement celebration, and 2Cats could not have been a better host!! Diwas was very accommodating and helpful to make this happen, and the staff and food were outstanding. I highly recommend stopping by 2Cats if you are in Bar Harbor - the food and service is incredible!! (The strawberry butter and biscuits is a must-have)

Went here for breakfast after my fiancee went back to bed following our sunrise on Cadillac Mountain adventure. Food was okay and coffee was okay. Staff was pushy and tried to rush me out until I reminded them I wanted to order more food to go. Then they suddenly got nice again, they weren't that busy but everyone was acting very confused and no one really seemed to know what areas were there's to cover. Not a bad place to eat though.
