I hadn't been to 2 Chefs in some time so earlier today I thought I'd order their Buffalo Chicken Dip because I quite enjoy that appetizer. I went to pick it up, paid, and before leaving checked my order (because in the past they've made mistakes with my orders) and was surprised to find nacho chips in the container. I walked back in and asked the lady/waitress who'd given me my order whether the order now comes with nacho chips instead of the fried pita bread chips that they used to have. She looked surprised herself and said she'd ask the kitchen, because sometimes they run out. But before she could go another waitress passing by said they hadn't had the pita chips all night. The first lady apologized and said she didn't know and would have told me as much when I called to place my order had she known. I said it's "oh alright, that's fine" and left. I had already paid and I knew she couldn't do anything especially if they had been out of pita chips all night, but she could see I was disappointed. They didn't offer a credit or anything. I checked the menu and it specifically says "Buffalo Chicken Dip, Served with Fried Pita Chips". They should let patrons know if something is no longer available for the day instead of making a bad substitution (the nacho chips aren't as strong as the pita chips so they are just breaking now as I try to scoop the dip). I am extremely disappointed with having spent $16+ on this. Tip: check your take out orders before you pay and/or leave the premises.

Food was good and tasty, server was nice and attentive. I love that they have outdoor seating, and if you want the breeze without as many bugs, you can sit at a table with a window like we did. We ordered a kids spaghetti, the sauce was nice and hearty and it was very flavorful, we would definitely order it again. We also ordered bbq chicken wings, they were also good, my daughters very picky and she liked them. We also ordered a pizza, the cheese and sauce was good but the bread / crust was a little tough, i just picked the cheese off and ate it that way. We would definitely be back, id probably try the pizza again. I want to try the cajun ribeye next time. Their cheeseburgers are good. Their french fries are good. Their bbq chicken wings are good. Their spaghetti is good. Their bruschetta is good (but its the first time i ever tried it so I dont have anything to compare it to). Pretty much everything we've tried here has been good. I ordered their ribeye steak w the gorgonzola butter or whatever its called. It was seasoned and flavored good but the piece of steak had a weird texture and it was hard. It was weird, I probably wouldnt order it again because it was chewy and hard in too many places. I had to spit a lot of it out. The mashed potatoes and brocoli were good. Update: we came back again today and ordered the pizza again. Its crunchier and not tough this time, its pretty good. I'd probably buy it again. Just tried the Bruschetta last night and it was really good. The potato skins were ok. Idk if they were over cooked or of this is how they normally are but it was ok. Not my favorite though but I would definitely get the Bruschetta again.

This weekends travels brought us to 2 Chef's in Worcester. We were welcomed in the parking lot by one of the owners. Although we came at 130 on a Saturday we were seated without a delay. The menu has lots of options ranging from burgers to pasta entrees. This was our first visit so we gave the old menu roulette wheel a spin. We ordered the Chicken bacon ranch egg rolls appetizer which were both delicious and plentiful. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich and my friend ordered the Coconut chicken sandwich. The crusted chicken and honey mustard combo that comes in the salad is amazing. I wasn't a huge fan of the steak and cheese sandwich. IMO the roll choice could use an upgrade. The atmosphere at 2 Chef's is top notch. The staff seems to be very comfortable which is surprising as this is a fairly new restaurant. Overall, we will be back. Keep up the good work!

Me and my sister just walked out a few minutes and tried to play ( Singo - Bingo ). They refuse us service and the woman was extremely rude and had a massive attitude and make us wait for an answer for a few minutes. We thought you could just attend their ( Singo - Bingo) ,like other places and not be forced into buying foods or a beverage. She said this is a restaurant and in - order to play you must eat or buy a drink. We both walked out. Very disappointed and confused. I guess they don't care about there patrons and it should be stated on Facebook/ Social Media and signs stating not you must purchase food or beverage to attend their ( Singo - Bingo event). Very disappointing 😑. Quite unprofessional staff .

I took my mom to dinner on a Friday night and we both ordered the Fish and Chips, we were quite disappointed. The fish filet was very thin, looked like they sliced the Haddock filet in half resulting in 2 very thin pieces of fish, not recommended!! We sat at the bar and the service was excellent, we informed the bartender about this issue, and she said that "she only makes drinks". The price of $12.99 is very enticing but it is not worth it, stay away from the Friday fish & chip special.

Thursday night, First time visit found the staff to be friendly and attentive. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs, being a Italian restaurant. Portions were sufficient and flavorful. The atmosphere is family oriented with many young children present. Everyone was having a good time. Parking was a bit of a problem but not insurmountable.

I’ve been here a few times and always had a good experience. The food was really, really good. I’ve never had calamari in Worcester that was as good as the calamari I had here the other day. The waiters and customers were all very nice. The place is always clean.

Party of 4, bill almost $150, experience was average but we only went because we had a gift card, probably wouldn't go back. Food was okay, calamari was wet and soggy. $1 taco specials but didn't mention that it's extra $1 each for salsa and sour cream. Our server Molly, was how do I describe it, a little too nonchalant? Not friendly, but not rude, doesn't look you in the eyes, kinda brushes you off. FYI if you pay with card they tack on a extra 3%. The bar area is very loud and the music is too loud. The bathrooms are by the entrance and it smells bad, which they apparently haven't addressed the issue in months because I see reviews mentioning the bathroom smell from months back.

Yelp
Love this place. Friendly waitstaff, fun bartenders, and delicious food! What else do you want? It can be loud sometimes since people can have a crowd for a celebration, but it's worth it. Oh, and they have fantastic specials... how about $1 tacos? Fresh meat, almost street taco style, but they are much bigger. Check them out!
google avatar

Christine K.

Yelp
Food is very bland. Don't order the braised short rib risotto, it's so dry and flavorless.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic food, you can't leave there hungry. The wait staff are all great.you won't be disappointed. The egg rolls and rice balls are great.

Yelp
Not much to say about 2 Chefs here other than food is pretty solid. We've already tried a few dishes here ordering takeout and they were all pretty good. We've tried so far raviolis, Mac and cheese, and chicken broccoli Alfredo. My favorite so far is their Baked Stuffed Haddock Ala Lobster which is really tasty. I wished they had online ordering. Calling in on weekends, the restaurant is fairly busy.

Yelp
The menu is small. The portions were average. The prices are good. The place was hopping. Absolutely no parking when I arrived or left. Definitely creative parking is a must. Service was very good, especially given the amount of people. The bar was packed as well. I had a special. Baked chicken. Not a fan of the marinara but it was good.

Yelp
Great service! Big bar area and they have live music! Check out their Facebook page it tells you when they will have the music. Went here with a friend, both pasta dishes were delicious and the drinks were good. Fairly priced for the amount of food you obtained. I do wish they would serve bread but that's okay still a great place. It is more casual than a fancy Italian restaurant. The staff are very hard workers! I give a 4 star rating.

Yelp
Wow, really loved this place! The night didn't start off great. We reserved a booth and they put us at a low top table in a very loud and drafty corner. It had a lot of windows and was a noise tunnel. I was so cold and couldn't hear anything but the waitress kindly and generously moved us to a much better high top table in a quieter and warmer location. After that the night was great! We split the chicken parm egg rolls, wow!! Crispy and perfectly seasoned, I would go back just for those! The Santas Hat cocktail was delish, tart with a fun, sweet and chewy, coconut flake rim, oh so good!! I very much enjoyed it. Then I had a Razz Lime Ricky which was fine, but a bit sweeter than a raspberry lime Ricky would be. Still enjoyed it. My husband had a seafood pasta dish, for the life of me I won't recall the name. But he loved it. He said he doesn't normally love muscles, but they were well cooked and very enjoyable. My chicken piccata had great flavor and was very good, however, it did not give off chicken piccata vibes with the mushrooms, tomatoes and very lite sauce compared to the traditional version. I did really enjoy it though. Minus the difficulty parking, we loved it here!

Yelp
We were visiting friends in the area and asked them to pick a local establishment for us to try. They picked this restaurant, a place none of us had ever been to. We were seated promptly and were not rushed when ordering, though our waiter did make suggestions. I went with the wings (at an Italian restaurant?) with the golden BBQ sauce. Kind of tasted like there was honey mustard in the mix, but they were good. I had flipped a coin between the wings and the lasagna. The wings won, but the waiter also highly recommended them. My wife tried the fettuccine alfredo, which she let me try, and it was one of the best I'd ever tried. If for some reason we end up finding ourselves in this part of the country again, I'd gladly come here again, but will definitely be going for the fettuccine alfredo next time. Or maybe the lasagna. I'll let the coin flip decide.

Yelp
I only ordered takeout from this restaurant so far and only fish n chips. My first experience was amazing loved the fish and chips. The batter or coating they use was perfect. Much better than the egg roll lady. Fish was definitely fresh. The service for pick up is pretty fast. If they say 15 minutes it will be done in like 10. My last two take out fish n chips orders have been sorta disappointing though. I always like the portion size of the fish but one order didn't taste fresh. Then my next order came with a whole different fry coating that was not good and was falling off the fish. The fries were super soggy as well. They definitely need to stick to the original fry coating they previously used. The new one is trash. Before my last experience ordering fish n chips here. I spoke highly of the fish n chips here. I cant do that now and i wont order it here anymore. This place is always busy so im gonna try something else like chicken parm. Hopefully its bussin. They doing something good to be constantly packed. Maybe they not cheap with the fries if you dine in. From 1 to 10 they get a 6.5. It would be higher if they work on the little things. Batter and stop being cheap with the fries.

Yelp
My husband and l eat here at least 3 x a month. It's usually good. Today , not so much. I got the restaurant vweek meal for 29.24. I started with the ceaser salad. Boring. Dressing from a bottle and lettuce was rusty. Should never have sent it out. Eggplant rollatini. Delish... 317 Milanese. Chicken was so overcooked and looked like it was a day old. Terrible. I sent it back. Fot another oder. Came out just a little better, was still I'm over cooked. Piunded tooooo thin was dry. Not juicy. Was disappointed. U are an Italian restaurant. Pay more attention to the Italian food.. chicken should have been thicker and juicy. Not wort $ 30... sorry. I will go back because we like the bar and employees. Food not so much...

Yelp
First time here. Started with a few salads and Bruschetta. The homemade croutons were really good, the bruschetta was ok. All the flavor was there, the bread wasn't toasted enough for me. Buffalo Mac and cheese was rich and had a little kick to it. The Chicken Parmesan stole the show, the linguine and the chicken was perfectly cooked and it was smothered in cheese. The sauce here is amazingly sweet and hearty. We will def be back, all the food that passed by us looked great.

Yelp
Too loud crazy. Can't talk. Too many people! Food ok Service ok Very busy place. Will not go back
google avatar

Dick F.

Yelp
We went on Saturday night which was probably a mistake as we're older so noise bothers us but that aside our food and service were excellent. We definitely visit again just on a week day.

Yelp
Great pizza, calamari, fish and chips. Love the eggplant rolatini Nice staff. Andrew alway on bar service and professional

Yelp
One word, "Wow!". If you're in the Worcester area, and you're hungry af. Get your Fat "A" (only kidding), and stuff your face at this awesome resteraunt. My biggest recommendation is to go to this resteraunt, wear a blindfold and order whatever. It is that good, trust me on this.

Yelp
Great service, great prices, and open late. If your looking for a place to spend a Friday night with less of the club feeling definitely a nice bar/restaurant to visit
google avatar

Yelp
My bf and I ordered takeout from here for lunch and were both pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our meals. So the week after we placed another lunch order and again, 2 Chefs killed it! (Chicken piccata, shrimp scampi, coconut chicken salad and Chef salad with chicken). My bf is very picky about the texture and taste of his chicken and both times it was cooked to his liking. I personally love how extensive their menu is. There really is something for everyone! The portions and pricing is fair too. This will be our weekly lunch spot for a while. Give them a shot!

Yelp
I always give my star ratings based on the food. Unfortunately we definitely won't be back for food. The menu is weird and all over the place. I ordered baked haddock and my boyfriend ordered bolognese. Maybe we should have gone with a sandwich or burgers or something? Neither of us enjoyed our meals. I live in the neighborhood and this place is always packed. We were excited to check it out. It used to be Wild Willys and we knew someone had been renovating there for a while. It's nice inside! Enormous bar. If you're eating, the best seats are along the windows in the back. The dining room used to be wide open, but there's a huuuuuge bar in there now. I'd definitely come back here for drinks sometime and to watch a game. Has a great pub vibe. We live nearby so we walked. Warning: there is NEVER parking. The parking lot is quite small and it's not in a place where you can just sort of park nearby and walk over. If you park "across the street" you will have to cross route 12 right where the highway is ending and it's not easy. You can walk down the street and catch a crosswalk. But don't expect to park in their parking lot, it's not going to happen. Will come back for drinks sometime and I'll update my review if the food is better
google avatar

Emily E.

Yelp
Excellent food! Huge portions! Parking lot fills up but the restaurant is very large inside
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
It's not great, and not terrible. Good option if you live nearby and are looking to eat somewhere close, but when it comes to Italian food, there are much better options in Worcester. Additionally in the several times I've been there the food took quite a while to come to the table.
google avatar

Aubrey S.

Yelp
Ok so the food was good but the whole place seemed dirty like it needed a good scrub and fresh coat of paint. The bathroom has graffiti on the walls and the floor was disgusting. The outside was filled with cigarette butts put out in Home Depot buckets or on the ground. There was other trash around the patio area as well but I just couldn't believe all the cigarettes. This was gross to see on my way in. To recently renovate the place I was shocked to see how unclean the place looked. I won't be back..

Ted G.

Yelp
Excellent Chicken Parmesan! Delicious sauce and tender chicken. The Bruschetta and Braised Short Ribs Risotto was also wonderful.

Donald R.

Yelp
Great place with excellent food like their Prime Rib on special Prime Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday after 4pm. Also a very tasty Shepherd's Pie.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend have been frequenting 2 Chefs ever since we tried it earlier this year. This is a great place for a casual meal with the family or to sit at the bar with friends. We always start with the garlic bread, which is toasted and seasoned to perfection and served with a marinara and a Gorgonzola cream sauce that is to die for. We've tried a few of the pasta dishes and they have all been delicious and reasonably priced. The jumbo homemade meatballs are delicious! Servers and bartenders are always super friendly. This place is perfect for a quality meal that won't break the bank.
google avatar

Robin R.

Yelp
Service was terrific. Drinks were great. Salad (Greek) was superb. The haddock (a la vodka) was cold in the middle and the green beans were undercooked. It was a disappointing dinner.

Jennifer F.

Yelp
Service was good. What an odd menu. Weird combo of choices. And then each dish we ordered as a disappointment. I've never had tasteless mashed potatoes before. Garlic? Nope. Salt? Nope. Pepper? I see no reason at all to return.

Sienna S.

Yelp
Linguini in ziti in my friend Kileys pasta dinner. She really hates linguini but got one piece of it in her ziti!!!!

Yelp
Restaurant week, decided to bring the family out for dinner, four of us. First time here, heard good things so it was the place we chose. Arrived at 5:30 pm Saturday, not very busy, seated right away. Waited ten minutes for a waitress for a drink order, drinks ordered, when served we order the $28.23 meals for 3 of us and pasta and meatballs for the fourth person. Had to ask for bread, fifteen minutes passed still no salads. Stopped the waitress and she said she would go check. She returned with salads and then two minutes later our appetizers arrived, missing one order. No time between courses at all and everything was lukewarm. Asked waitress about missing app she said I'll check and then announced are meals were coming out! Never got to enjoy my salad, everything was so rushed. To my dismay the lost appetizer was cold, two of four meals weren't even lukewarm. When the waitress was told she replied the kitchen is in confusion. Not a kitchen problem to me, more like a service problem. $150 bill and only 1 person enjoyed some of their dinner. The rest of us left without eating. I asked the waitress about being charged for the appetizer I never got to eat, she told me she removed it from the bill, which she did NOT. She became agitated with me and argued about the bill. Finally the bill was adjusted. What I found interesting was I ordered a dinner to go with our meals and that was pasta and sauce and it was piping hot in the takeout container. Never was I more embarrassed with the meals we were served and the servers attitude. I invited people out and couldn't even get them a good hot meal

Michelle A.

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was at 2 chefs the prim rib was excellent The waitresses were friendly
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
I've visited this establishment multiple times. The staff, ambiance, food and patrons are amazing. The wait staff is always willing to go the extra mile and always polite. The service is prompt. I recommend 2 Chefs to all. Very accommodating and never disappointed. The owners are also fantastic.

Yelp
Stopped here because we were in the area, we had the appetizer Spaghetti Cups with meatballs and I had the American chop suey. Everything was great and would come back again for a comfort food meal.

Yelp
New place heard a lot of good things about the business ! Stopped in for lunch, wife had a corned beef sandwich not very big but very good flavor, stale bun cold fries, great pickle, I had something that they called a classic Italian sub, NOT! Nothing in it nothing makes it stand out to make it good or classic, also on a stale bread, cold fries but a great pickle, all together with a couple of drinks 50 bucks, plenty of other places to go near by for a better meal for lunch! Chefs work on that Italian! You can do better than that!

Yelp
This place was delicious!! We started with the chicken parm egg rolls. They were pretty good. My friend had the pizza and soup and she loved her meal. My bf got the shrimp scampi and he thought it was good. I got the bolognese and it was delicious. I even had leftovers for the next day. My friend's husband got one of the risotto dishes but they originally brought him the wrong dish. They apologized and corrected it but we were all half finished by the time his meal came. They were apologetic and offered a dessert. We didn't really want a dessert as we were all full so he asked if maybe we could get a drink or two comped instead. They said they couldn't comp any drink or food that was already entered in the system which is untrue as many other restaurants have done this but they continued to push the dessert again. So we ended up taking a pumpkin cheesecake home. All in all it was good. They did correct the error. We will definitely go back. However, I just think they handled the situation incorrectly.

Yelp
I have been going to 2-Chefs since it opened on West Bolyston St. Food and service were always great. Lately they have been going downhill. On July 5, 2023, I went to 2 Chefs and for a light supper at 8 PM. There were only 6-8 people there. I ordered a cup of Italian Wedding soup and a side Ceasar salad. The soup, which is one of two soups always on the menu and always good, had so much salt in it, that I couldn't finish it. The salad contained tiny pieces of lettuce and about one tablespoon of dressing and NO shaved parmesan cheese. I left the salad untouched. When I told the bartender about the soup and salad, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. When I got the bill, nothing was taken off. The week before, the bartender greeted us at the door and said they were closing early due to lack of customers. It was 8:15 PM. Needless to say, it will be the last time we go, and I will spread the word about what happened. GV

Alice L.

Yelp
I am writing this review before I have gone to 2 Chefs. Why? Because it is 47 minutes after they have opened and they are not answering their phone. I am 77 years old and am trying to celebrate a friend's life. He is disabled so I was phoning to ask for a table/booth near the door tomorrow evening. It's Wednesday so I am hoping that it won't be too crowded. Apparently, the restaurant caters only to those who are willing to download their app. I am not personally Italian but I lived in Italy for eight years and plan to return in October. No matter how good 2 Chefs food is, this treatment of a potential customer would never happen in Rome!

Cheryl C.

Yelp
Horrible terrible horrible me my husband went meatballs dog skit pasta thick tough sauce ragu way over spiced eggplant horrible hard sauce same as meatballs gross will never return tge inky thing half way decent wings but not cooked well enough never return here Olive Garden better quality and that's bad this two chefs needs to close wildly willies sucked but this is even worse

Janet K.

Yelp
Took a friend to dinner for his birthday. The service was impeccable. He enjoyed his meal but I was a little amiss on mine. I ordered the chicken marsala. Although the taste was good, I didn't like the chicken strips as they were dry. This dish would be better served with a a large piece of chicken breast so that it is moist. It was placed over traditional pasta , the pasta was too thick. This would taste better if it had thin linguine. We sat by the bar close to the windows. If it's a cold night, you may be a little chilled by the window and if it's crowded bar it's very loud. I'll definitely make a return to check out the red sauce and see how it is.

Bill K.

Yelp
We've always loved this place, dining in and takeout. The last two times were sub-par though. The eggplant didn't taste right, and the chicken dish I just had was so tough, I couldn't finish it. Sorry to say, but we're going to take a break from going here for a while.

Max M.

Yelp
Great place great food very handsome server forget his name tho think it was jax or something had the braised short rib risotto it's amazing

Maria S.

Yelp
Definitely a pub vibe, a little loud, but hey, we went on a Friday night, so it was expected. We got seated quickly, and ordered drinks. Mine came out before my husband's drink by about ten minutes. We ordered the bruschetta and were happy with it, and it was nice that the owner brought it to our table. However, we had finished it before we were able to order our main course as the waitress didn't come over till she noticed our empty plate. I had the chicken marsala and my husband had a seafood dish, both had linguine. The food was just okay, nothing special. I had wanted to order a second drink and tried several times to get the waitress' attention, as did my husband. She actively ignored us, and passed our table multiple times, turning her head away from us, as we tried to get her attention. My husband and I never got to order a second drink, and we were done with our dinners. She brought the check, we paid it and my husband waited as I went to the bathroom, which the stalls were dirty, toilet paper on the floor, the doors are in disrepair, but the sink area was clean. We had high hopes for this place, heard good things, but were disappointed. Don't think we will be returning.

Anthony C.

Yelp
Reasonable prices for the area. The menu is pretty crowded with choices. Arancini appetizer was very good, gorgonzola sauce was good, marinara was avg. Entrees of marsala and Parmesan were plated poorly. The Parmesan was bland and dry. Marsala was gritty, big portion but a real mess to look at. Basically pub atmosphere, really loud. Three stars because the service was pretty good, attentive and polite and arancini was good

Linda P.

Yelp
keep your money!! stale bread meat looks like it was cut with a butter knife half inch thick!! canned soup nasty tomatos in salad tasted like cardboard gross
