Nice restaurant in Downtown Concord. The cheeseburger and fries were delicious. You must get the ranch dressing it is really good. The service and prices were great.

Absolutely SPECTACULAR! Took our daughter out to lunch to her favorite café! Now it is our, too! The service was friendly and the food was delicious!

We were visiting Concord a couple of weeks ago and attempted to dine here. We went in were seated. About 5 minutes pass, then we were greeted drink order taken. 10 minutes later no drinks or sign of server. We left and went and ate tacos. The food looked and smelled amazing. Maybe when we visit Concord again we will make another attempt.

We went here for my mom’s birthday dinner. She picked this restaurant and loved the Shrimp Po’Boy she ordered. The shrimp were huge! My dad got the Alfredo (Angel hair) with chicken added. My brother and husband got the hot honey chicken sandwich. I ordered the 2 Gals petite burger with sweet potato fries. We did get 2 appetizers. One fried deviled eggs (excellent) and the Parmesan truffle fries. We weren’t really impressed with any of our fries. They were pretty flimsy and not crisp at all. I know that is some people’s preference, so it’s just our opinion. You could tell everything was homemade. Cute atmosphere and it was not crowded or full when we went in after they had just opened at 5pm. Overall good experience!

Wonderful experience at 2 Gals Kitchen. Party of three (two of which are from out of town) on a week day for lunch. About 2/3 full and we were seated immediately. Service very friendly and sensitive to dietary issues. Reuben, Jacked up Pepper Burger and ABC Burger all rated as excellent. Regular fries and Sweet Potato fries were rated as good. Prices are reasonable.

My date and I waited 45 minutes just for our appetizer to come out. We were seated in a corner by the window and blatantly ignored the entire time. One waitress kept making direct eye contact with us like she was about to come over—then would literally turn and walk the other way. Drinks were barely refilled, and after waiting an hour, we were finally asked what we wanted for our entrées. By then, we had already finished our appetizer with almost no drink left. And the cheese sauce? It wasn’t even a sauce—it was just a fat clump of melted cheddar, no cream or milk mixed in at all. Then our order was written down wrong. We asked for two burger combos (one veggie/bean patty and one regular meat burger, both with fries), but she rang everything up separately, so we were overcharged. When the food finally came, the fries were soggy, the burgers were cold and falling apart, and my bean burger looked like it had been microwaved. My boyfriend’s burger was red in the middle, and his fries were dry, greasy, and had zero seasoning. I never even got my fries—because apparently, they were out. Instead of being honest, our waitress told us “we’ll be right back with your fries!” and never returned. We never got the fries, never got the ranch, and never got the ketchup we asked for. At the end, another waitress casually mentioned they’d been out of fries the entire time. So not only were we ignored, but we were straight-up lied to. The excuse was that they were “busy,” but there were five open tables around us, and three tables seated after us got their food, ate, and left before ours ever arrived. We paid $60 for one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Between the long waits, terrible service, cold food, and blatant dishonesty, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Everytime I come for work, I stop by this place and order the veggie sandwich with the pear and havarti cheese, with the sweet potato fries. My favorite meal. I could eat this everyday. The staff in very welcoming and they gave me extra fries when last time I was there and told them how much I love the fries. Little things go a long way. I will definitely stop by next time I am in the area. Thank you!

Low stars are my least favorite however I appreciate honesty so others can make wise choices. Chips and salsa were very good. Unfortunately we weren't in the mood for a burger so that may have been the downfall. I ordered the crab pasta- I took one bite. Waitress removed it from the Bill and I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken instead. If I'm being 100% honest, which my reviews are, it was decent. The chicken was fresh, no flavor, and barely any romaine. My husband ordered Dave's tuna salad with side potato salad. Tuna was very dry, potatoe salad was fine. I will start with the positives: the ambience is cute and airy Wait staff was friendly and professional Food was fresh Overall, we would not go back. Food was bland, small portions for the price (had we actually really liked anything) and maybe we missed the mark by not having the burger. Again -This is nothing personal against the restaurant itself, it's an honest review of food. I took video because it's a cute place. You decide for yourself 😊

Wow!!! This place is just WOW! Me and my bestie stopped by during this year's art walk and we were immediately greeted upon walking in. The decor is gorgeous!!!! We were seated upon arrival and the waitress, Kelly, was super helpful and sweet!!! We ordered cocktails and our meal came out after a bit of a wait, which I appreciate because everything is fresh and made to order!!! We both got different kinds of burgers. Delish!!!! I got sweet potato fries and they were waffle, which was a lovely surprise! My friend got regular fries, we loved everything we ate and drank!!! Really good and fresh tasting!!! Absolutely recommend! We will be back! Thank you so much!!!

Heading to Charlotte, we stopped in Concord to try this Yelp recommended cafe in the downtown area for some lunch. We were so happy we did! 2 Gals was a great find! We ordered the reuben sandwich which came with a choice of 5-6 sides and we got the fries. The server suggested their homemade ranch dressing in place of ketchup.The meat was so tender and the cheese and sauce perfect! Everything was delicious and homemade. For dessert we tried the key lime pie and it to was homemade and delicious - with a thick layer of graham crumbs, lime and topped with whipped cream. The service was very friendly and we will definitely be n back when we are in the area.

My wife and I just had Valentines dinner at 2 Gals this evening. The special menu was wonderful. We had a choice of 3 entrees: Crab Stuffed Salmon, Cornish Game Hen or a Beef Wellington. We shared the Beef Wellington and Cornish Game Hen. We started off with roasted Brussel Sprouts, and they were delicious. Our dinner was nothing short of awesome!!! Everyone was amazing, and it was obvious they really wanted folks to have a memorable evening. I typically do lunch here, and a favorite is the ABC Burger. Or the Rocky Point Wrap. I've never left disappointed.

Nice local spot for a good sandwich or salad. The hamburger was well prepared and done exactly to my liking. Coupled with sweet potato fries made for a late afternoon "linnet" (lunch/dinner). Service was good.

We love 2 Gals Kitchen and while the hours don't always suit our schedule we do try and frequent this business so that it stays around a long time. The service has always been friendly and the food is creative and delicious. The interior is eclectic but has seating for most size groups. Call ahead if you need seating for a large group because they do have a small private room that might work. AND always save room for dessert because they are scrumptious!!

Was able to try their specialty - Dill Pickle Soup and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was top notch. Busy at lunchtime, every table was full. Definitely worth a return visit.

Food was hit, fresh and delicious! The restaurant was conveniently located and so homey and cute. The service was kind, and welcoming. All the food was well seasoned and high quality. Will definitely return here for some comfort food if I'm in town again

We heard great things about this place, so we finally ventured out to downtown Concord. The location is great as it seats in the middle of everything downtown has to offer.  The wait staff were helpful and explained their specials. The food did not disappoint on taste. I got the burger and a side of tuna salad. While very tasty,  the side was quite small. Otherwise, we had a great experience.

My first time stopping in and everything was great! It's so cute when you walk in and my friend and I got sat up front by the window. I ordered the pickle soup that was a special because I just had to try it! It was delicious! My friend got the 2 gals petite burger. I'm not a big fan of beets but I took a bite and it was delicious! Such a great size, too. I had the big country because I can never turn down a croissant sandwich. Can't wait to go back and try more!

My daughter and I were in the area and tried this place for lunch. We were pleasantly delighted. We were greeted warmly when we walked in. We used the side entrance because of the road construction shopping into the sidewalk in front, but you wouldn't know it's a construction site outside once you are seated. The food is delicious, and the portions are sizeable. Lunch was served in a jiffy, so there was hardly any wait at all. I'd definitely recommend it!

Last week, I took my 13-year-old daughter to eat at 2 Gals Kitchen. This morning, I found her crying and asked what was wrong. She told me that one of the male staff members made inappropriate and sexual remarks towards her while we were there. She said that the guy, along with another staff member, laughed about it. Her exact words were, "He told me, 'You look like you can ride good, too bad your chest isn't bigger.'" The staff members appeared to be in their late teens or early twenties (around 19-22). I want a clear explanation of why this happened and what steps you will take to ensure that no other child ever experiences this again at your establishment. As for me, I will never return. I hope you address this issue immediately, as I am prepared to escalate it to the media and the authorities if necessary. The treatment of young girls by the men you employ is deeply concerning, and it must be resolved without delay.

I eat here plenty service is always wonderful the staff is always so wonderful and friendly rarely does my drink even get close to empty and let's talk about the desserts homemade carrot cake homemade key lime pie I can't even describe how tasty they are and the burgers are always delicious my favorite is the chicken caesar salad but when I'm in the mood for a burger it's usually a bacon cheeseburger

Met my friend for lunch, and as always, 2 Gals did not disappoint. Food is incredible. I had their Hai Thai burger - highly recommended. Especially with the bow tie salad as a side. GREAT JOB ladies!

This comment is only about the fries hence the 3 stars, feels like a neutral rating, but the fries weren't good. They were soggy, greasy, and a bit undercooked. If you're looking for crispy crunchy fries this isn't the place. But besides that the service was good and everyone else in my party was satisfied with their food.

Food is delicious, great variety, and ever changing and fresh desserts. The ambience and service delightful. Note, help out these local businesses while construction is going on in the area.

Their Rocky point wrap (ask them to grill it so it's like a panini) AMAZING. There's zucchini, corn, jalapeño spread and pulled chicken with goat cheese. The jalapeño spread was cream cheese based and NOT spicy at all so don't let the deter you. I will be back! Very quaint restaurant and super friendly staff

My sister had her wedding here a few years back and the atmosphere was intimate and cozy. The walls featured art work from local Concord, NC artists so that was a nice touch. All of the food at her wedding was "slap your momma" good. So impressed, I outsourced my main dish for a formal affair I had. The dish was cooked fine, but it was way over salted. I guess it's hit or miss with this establishment.

Convenient location across from courthouse. Personable and professional staff. Outdoor seating. Food okay. My wife and I found ourselves looking for a place to eat lunch in downtown Concord. A coffee shop waitress recommended 2 Gals. There was outdoor seating which addressed our Covid concerns. I had the Jacked-Up Pepper Burger with a side of House Cut Fries since Sweet Potato Fries were not available. My wife had the Monterey sandwich with a side of House-made Chips & Salsa. The server was extremely attentive and pleasant as was the greeter. The food was nothing special. The House Cut Fries were so greasy that I took most of them home to feed to our chickens. My wife's sandwich was tasty, but the salsa was so so. I was disappointed in my Jacked-Up Pepper Burger which was not as spicy as I had expected. I would not recommend 2 Gals Kitchen as a destination restaurant, but I would consider eating there again if I ever find myself in downtown Concord at noon.

Meh. Had a couple of wraps and they were way too salty and not at all good. Fries were cooked to death. If I had to do it over again would pass.

Love this down town Concord restaurant! Great food made with fresh ingredients. Gets crowded at lunch but the service is typically fast.

I stopped by one of my favorite downtown Concord eating spots (2Gals Kitchen) for lunch and as usual everything was delicious! Linda is a wiz in the kitchen and she used her magic to get me to eat pickled beets on a burger and to my surprise I enjoyed every bite! The staff are always friendly and very accommodation but I did miss Mary's beautiful smile and witty personality with my meal! Do yourself a favor and grab a yummy treat from the onsite bakery to take home, but get more than one because it's too good to share!

The hubby and I had been talking about eating here with our schedules it's kind of hard. Today we had the opportunity to have lunch here I can't begin to tell you all how good the food was. I had the Philly cheesesteak my husband had the Reuben. He said his sandwich was good the Philly cheesesteak was awesome!!!! We both had home fries as our side they were good also. Just know you can't go wrong and if you haven't been here I suggest you go!!!!

Our server Maggie was great. Food was fresh and tasty. Prices are decent too. Will be back. In a cute little part of Concord. Parking lot around the corner made it convenient and easy to find a park.

I took note of this place when I visited Not Just Franks, an excellent hotdog joint that also makes a fabulous pretzel, four months ago. They have a fairly small menu, which can be a good thing, because it means that they focus on a smaller amount of items and do them very well. Two Gals Kitchen is positively adorable inside. Alas, if only there was indoor seating right now. I ordered a tuna melt, a side of potato salad, and a side of bowtie pasta salad. The tuna melt is made with what they referred to as Dan's spicy tuna, and it was very good. From top to bottom, everything was highly competent and tasty. The sweet tea I ordered was actually very disappointing. Not very sweet and not very much tea flavor, either. What really set Two Gals Kitchen apart from other places were the side dishes. Both the potato salad and especially the bowtie salad were fantastic. Both are prepared from unique recipes that contain fresh tasting ingredients that mesh beautifully together. I had really wanted to try their chicken salad, but they were out. If it is anything like the other two, then it must be out of this world. Downtown Concord is a beautiful little town. You would think that it would not have that charm being so close to Charlotte, but it really does. If you do come here, I know two excellent restaurants where you can get a great lunch.

SUCH A CUTE PLACE! My mom and I were looking for a fun girls day lunch location and I found this place on Yelp. I don't have enough good things to say. Our waitress was so kind and informative. She even gave us recommendations of where to shop afterwards. The atmosphere was so fun & very clean. The food was DELICIOUS. We ordered tomato soup & grilled cheese and the PMS sandwich with fries. Best fries I've ever had! I would recommend this place over and over and I can't wait to go back!

Cute and quaint. Lunch is a busy time but we seem to always manage to get a table. Staff is always friendly and with the good food, we never leave hungry!

Our lunch wasn't bad.... Nothing warranted a review until they brought out this "lava cake." It obviously was microwaved and boiled over, but come on they couldn't even have wiped off the sides of the bowl??? They dumped some hot fudge sauce on top to imitate the look of a lava cake. These pictures are from the untouched dish they brought out. Who thought this was okay to serve?? Disgusting.

The food was fresh, creative and fun! The Rocketpoint hot sandwich and veggie delight were undoubtedly the best sandwiches I will have eaten for a very long time. You can tell these 2 Gals absolutely love food and have an attention to detail for every component to a recipe. Thank you for raising the bar when it comes to lunch in a big way.

If you're looking for a place for some clean and fresh ingredients and a light but filling lunch. This is the place to go! I haven't had a decent Turkey Club that was made properly in years, until I ordered one from here. My girlfriend got the Frisco Buffalo chicken sandwich, and said it was awesome too. The Location and atmosphere are great. They will be opening for later fare in the summer months with some Tapas type menus. Definitely check this place out.

Rocky point wrap with potato salad: delicious and potato salad needed some salt but an easy fix. I may order cold wrap next time. It was a bit too greasy heated. Wrap was good but I might do without zucchini next time. Did not like the texture but it was delicious. Btw....I would have liked pickles on the side but that is because I can eat pickles with anything. Ruben sliders with sweet potato fries: delicious as well. Ask for their ranch dressing. It goes perfectly with fries. Lava cake: best thing we ate there today. So good. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Amazing service, good food and best desert. A cute little place in down town concord. Give this place a try.

I wish this place would put some finishing touches on the what they have. The food is pretty good but the ambiance is so basic. Get some real silverware, pretty glasses, and ornate dishes. Top it off with some cool lighting and this place would be amazing.

Beautiful little restaurant in downtown Concord. Had a Long Island iced tea and it was perfect! Have to try their ABC sliders - delicious!! The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hidden jewel! I have eaten here a few times and everything is freshly made and have never been disappointed! You MUST try their spiked apple cider! Absolutely the best!

This is a cute unique place to have breakfast, lunch and dessert. They also serve dinner on saturdays. Everything is fresh. The menu options are unique. Prices are great. Friendly staff.

First place my husband and I tried after moving to concord and loved it! The atmosphere is so cute! Food was great and the drinks looked good but didn't get a chance to try them. Only drawback is possibly finding places to park.

FREAKING AMAZING. The food here is fantastic and so so fresh. Zero complaints from me. I can not recommend it enough. Everything on their menu is great. Beware of parking though! I've gotten a ticket trying to pick up a to-go order (obviously my fault).

ABC burger and Petite burger shown. So good! I had to ignore the flowery plate, but the burger was awesome and crab pasta as well. I tastes the petite burger and it was tasty too! Live piano music played while we ate. I highly recommend.

So cute little lunch spot. Fills up quick so come early or you may have a wait. Dining area is decorated super classy and chic with a touch of shabby. Very comfortable atmosphere. Staff was very pleasant. I got a cold wrap that had corn chicken and zucchini in it. Very filling and refreshing. Everything tasted super fresh. As my side I got the potato salad and OMG it could have possible been the best potato salad ever. My lunch companions both got burgers. One with potato salad as well and the other with fries. The fries are hand cut and fried to perfection. A true fry lovers dream. They don't even need sauce/ketchup. The burgers were very well dressed and both were very pleased with their lunches. If you find yourself in the area stop in it is definitely worth waiting for if they are busy.

Sweet little dinner with killer cupcakes. I started with iced tea, half and half. The server was honest when I asked if the tea was super sweet. I ordered the Monaray Wrap with crap padta...heaven slightly spicy butt I would call it flavorful. Cupcakes to go!
