14 D.C. Bars and Restaurants Hosting Halloween Parties - Eater DC
"Marvin’s first floor transforms into a Southern juke joint, inspired by lively scenes in films like The Color Purple, as local indie soul artist Danté Pope performs at 8 p.m. Expect a full dinner menu, Southern cocktail specials, and invitation to dress to the nines in vintage duds. Reservations include a $10-per-person cover charge." - Tierney Plumb
"Marvin’s rooftop pride party with DJ Keenan Orr kicks off at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, with free rainbow fans. For each Smirnoff cocktail purchased, the bar will send $1 to LGBTQ group Casa Ruby. The liquor giant will match the total donation amount." - Tierney Plumb

A truly phenomenal bar! The drinks are delicious and well priced, the music is ALWAYS on point, the vibes are immaculate, and I've never seen better service at such a high volume spot.

Yelp
DC's newest LGBTQIA+ dance club has made its way to the corner of 14/U! Crush is a large space with areas for dancing and lounging throughout the entirety of the bar. The upstairs has a patio space, which is especially great for this time of year since it gets sunlight. You can expect drinks to be flowing with their speciality Orange and Grapefruit Crush Cocktails, where currently the juice is being hand pressed for you to see. The staff is super friendly and overall speedy. They are truly in their infancy as a new, local business, and they are already busier than ever. Cheers to this new space! I'm excited for more queer options to be available in DC for this community!

Yelp
What a great new addition to the bar scene. Great cocktails and amazing themed spaces. Love that we finally have a place meant for dancing. The staff is so nice and helpful. Shout out to Jared who helped me decide which cocktail to pick.

Yelp
Trot is the best bartender who ever bartenderd. We played cornhole at Crush Bar, and Trot being the bartender made the whole experience so much more fun. He deserves a raise and is delightful. We love him.

Yelp
This place is absolutely fantastic and exactly what DC needs! It's in prime nightlife location in a super safe area, and has incredible ambiance for a Sunday Funday or a Saturday night out.
In particular this bar has some of the best service I've ever had in a local gay bar. All of the staff were super friendly, and I was lucky enough to get served by James, a professional in the nightlife scene - it doesn't hurt that he's also easy on the eyes :)
Highly encourage everyone to check it out!

Yelp
Just visiting DC and I am so glad that I came to Crush! I went on a Thursday night and the place was busy but not too packed. It's absolutely a fantastic, recently opened spot. The bartenders are super friendly and the music was good. I went by myself and was able to easily make new friends and really enjoy myself at Crush. Fantastic!
