The 13 Best Breakfast Sandwiches In Seattle

"It may seem like a small blip on a menu full of burgers, but the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich from 206 is this First Hill fast food joint's greatest contribution to the city. With perfectly crisp bacon, a fried egg with lacy edges, melted american, and aioli smashed between a buttery brioche bun, the result is a lot of steamy bread enveloping a small amount of filling—like a Smuckers Uncrustable, only in breakfast form." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

206 Burger Company Review - First Hill - Seattle - The Infatuation

"206 Burger Company is the best burger spot that nobody’s talking about. Not only are the classics excellent here, but the milkshakes are perfect (get the Oreo), the fries strike the ideal balance between crispy and floppy, and the special sauce is kind of smoky. There are also some Indian-leaning items you probably didn’t see coming that are really tasty (like the masala-spiced chicken sandwich). We hope you’re a Seattle sports fan, because you can’t really escape the explosion of local team memorabilia in here. Go Hawks. photo credit: Erin Lodi" - Aimee Rizzo

The 206 Burger Company was a great little spot to get a quick and delicious lunch! There was not a long line to wait in nor did we have to wait long to get our food which was a plus. They have lots of options that is sure to please anyone including vegan options. The prices for what you get are quite reasonable. It is definitely worth a stop!

Google
The staff was very friendly and food came really fast! :) The burger was okay, but nothing “special”. It was a slightly better than a McDonald’s burger. For what we got and what we paid, it wasn’t really worth it. The fries were good, but again it wasn’t omg this is ridiculously delicious. I’m not amazed and wouldn’t say that I need to go there a second time. I think there are better places to get a real good burger (that isn’t crazy more expensive) here in Seattle. The espresso milkshake was really good though and I can recommend it! :)

Google
Good burger for the price, I would return if in the area. Service is reasonably quick especially because we had a few orders ahead of us. The bacon definitely elevated my burger and I probably wouldn't have liked it as much without it Fries were average. I would've liked something a bit more unique. I recommend stopping by if you're in the mood for a standard burger but you won't see many twists here

Soohyun Yoon (Soo)

Google
The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. However, it would be great if more attention could be paid to the frying oil for the side dishes (like fries).

Google
Highly recommend! The food is made to order which is awesome 👌 the storm burger was flavorful and the egg was cooked perfectly. Nothing beats hot crispy Tots and these were on point. I would definitely go back and try the other burgers. If u haven't been now is the time.

Shannon Marie

Google
The burger was hot, juicy and full of meat. The veggies on the burger were fresh and crisp. The brioche bun was perfect (not soggy). The caramelized onions really brought it all together. The Storm burger actually wasn’t really spicy if you’re worried about the heat (may want to ask for extra sauce if you like spicy). I’m a sucker for tater tots; they were crunchy on the inside and hot. The service was good too! Be willing to wait a little, because they’re cooking the food fresh. That being said, it didn’t take long.

Google
The food is decent. We got the breakfast burrito. It took 20 minutes to take and when I asked for some condiments that was in their menu. They didn't have any at all ..I was able to take cool pictures and charge my phone so I give them a 3.

Ava Carlson

Google
This burger place is really cute. The food itself wasn't anything special, but the restaurant is kept clean and cozy. It's a nice little place for an interview, a date, just to talk, etc.

Yelp
Was craving a burger. This place definitely delivered 100% definitely be going back. Good service food came out quick.

Yelp
Delicious!!! Love it here, was fast service and convenient. A little on the pricey side 16$ for a sandwich and drink.
google avatar

Yelp
Had the mariner burger and it was very good. A casual place with Seattle sports scene interior. Service was quick and good. Bodi beer was cold and quite tasty. Prices were decent for downtown Seattle. Very close to Virginia Mason hospital.

Yelp
This place is amazing, conveniently located. I absolutely loved every single item, we had appetizers with drinks. We had amazing burgers. You have to try them. The staff was very very friendly. Customer service was perfect atmosphere is perfect. I was so happy they were playing all the hits. We are highly recommend coming back. We definitely will.

Yelp
My food was very tasty and cooked perfectly 206 burger had so many flavors I said mmmmm more than I could count while eating. The onion rings were crispy batter was very yummy. I will come back and eat here more often.

Tony V.

Yelp
i so wanted to love this place, but I had a terrible experience. First, they got my order wrong. They corrected it. I ordered the spicy veggie burger and onion rings. The burger is practically inedible. It falls apart in your hands as you try to eat it, and there are no utensils anywhere. The onion rings were the worst onion rings I ever had, completely soaked in grease. They were like grease sponges fully loaded with grease. I really hope they can turn things around.

Yelp
One thing about this place, it is DIRTY. Floors are sticky, bathroom was disgusting, and tables are uncleaned. I could have gotten past that if the other things here were good, but it kinda just went downhill after we walked in. We had some questions about the menu and the lady working the counter seemed really disinterested in helping us. We ended ordering two burgers with fries and drinks. The parmesan garlic on the fries were the only thing saving it as the fries themselves are pretty basic and under seasoned. The 206 burger is just an average burger, nothing really makes it what a staple special burger should be. The zesty chicken burger was cooked decently, just under seasoned as well, even though I asked if it was a seasoned before ordering. Soda machine was flat too, and any customizations we asked for got ignored (no tomatoes, etc). I would come back maybe to try something else, but only if I can ask a question about the menu and actually get an answer.

Yelp
Customer service could improve! I walked into try a shake. I ordered a chocolate shake and it came out tasted like marshmallow. I asked if him if I could exchange it and the cashier said, "you already tried it, it's not our fault!" I said don't you guys provide customer service here?? After arguing with the guy for a few minutes he finally agreed to exchange my shake for a different flavor. While waiting I over heard customers complain about getting their order wrong. Go somewhere else!

Yelp
I expect more. I got the spicy chicken sandwich lettuce wrapped. With sweet potato fries. The flavor on the spicy chicken was actually pretty good, but the size of the chicken was so tiny. don't make the lettuce wrap easy to eat. So I ate it kind of like I would've a salad. for the price of the spicy chicken sandwich I guess I expected more protein. The portion of a sweet potato fries was OK again I think I was expecting more. I think that they're better burger joints in Seattle. Service was quick and fast.
google avatar

Precious C.

Yelp
Food as good! Nice place to seat and chow down with friends or family. They had both regular and vegetarian options for my friends. My vegetarian friends liked the spicy veggie burger because of the sauce.
google avatar

Celeste D.

Yelp
Decent priced lunch burger deal- place was empty when I walked in, food was fresh, service was quick, and the location is clean. Pretty basic burger, good size, okay cook.
google avatar

Sidney W.

Yelp
Decent burgers & consistently rude & disrespectful customer service. I stop giving them my business for over a year for the same reason & not another dime of mine they will see.
google avatar

Norm D.

Yelp
Quick short-order service, tasty burger, and nice, crispy tots. I was visiting from out of town, and this was everything I was hoping for after a day of travel.

Brent C.

Yelp
I don't know what's changed at 206 on first hill but my last 2 meals have been terrible! The burgers and fries have been dripping in nasty tasting grease. Yesterday I ordered the cheeseburger with an onion ring and an egg (comfort food splurge). Last night I was sick to my stomach and there is absolutely no doubt the burger and fries were to blame. Once bad meal was unexpected, twice is a pattern.
google avatar

Danielle B.

Yelp
When a burger place doesn't ask you how you want your burger cooked, you shouldn't eat there. This is one of those places to avoid unless you want overcooked burgers with blue cheese on it that is COVERED in raw blackened seasoning and mid fries.
google avatar

Valerie W.

Yelp
All in all not a bad burger joint! It's hard to speak on food quality a little when you get delivery, but overall satisfied. Bacon Cheeseburger was decent and flavored well enough. Their house sauce is a little sweet for me, but was a good addition to the burger! Onion rings were pretty good as well! Hint: order extra crispy! Prices are fair and there's lots of options on the menu to choose from.

Yelp
Not sure I understand the rating on this place. It is a quick serve burger place. Service is not going to be what you find in a sit down restaurant. Is it clean? Yes. Are the seats comfortable? Yes. Not sure what more people expected. The way you should judge a place like this is on its burgers and associated sides. We ordered the Mariner and the Seahawks. Both were really good. The tots were crispy, warm, and well seasoned. Bonus points because they have more than just fries. Buns were fresh, patties juicy, portion was large. Even the detractors seem to admit the burgers are quite good. If you are looking for a really good burger. This is a great spot.

Treyc B.

Yelp
was blown away by the balance of flavors in this veggie burger. The patty was hearty and flavorful, with a perfect blend of spices and ingredients like chickpeas, which gave it a satisfying texture. It held together beautifully, unlike many veggie patties that tend to fall apart. 5/5

Yelp
BREAKFAST REVIEW I'm a breakfast guy. I like a good breakfast but I don't care how it's served. Scrambles, omelets, on a plate, on a bun, doesn't matter to me. So when I saw they have breakfast here, I wanted to try it. I am NOT disappointed. If you're a midwest transplant, you'll immediately recognize the diner bacon they serve here, and if you're a fan of avocado, the 206 breakfast is the way to go. Tasty, but not flavorful. What I mean is that you will be fulfilled, but you won't be leaving going "wow this was the best burger spot I've been to" which is OKAY. When it comes to service, I'll be honest, I loved it. I'm someone who doesn't want to be bothered while I eat. I like to order and be left alone, and this place nailed it. Ordered food, sat down, no conversations no nothing. This place is very sports bar esque and during the morning when I came (on a Sunday) it seemed very calm and lax. This would be a good hangout spot for your friends if y'all like burgers and fries.
google avatar

Conor S.

Yelp
This place is great. Burgers, made well. It's simple and it's exactly where you should if you're hungry for a burger. They offer plenty of fried sides as well. We are partial to the onion rings and fries. I've tried several burgers and recommend you try several from the menu as well. They haven't disappointed me yet.
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
Great food!! My partner and I both got the Storm burger and I got the garlic parm fries. Service was great, the man at the ordering station was very helpful and patient as we figured out what we would want.
google avatar

Priscilla L.

Yelp
Good burger, nice chill vibes, cashier was nice. Overall, good solid place for a casual burger hour.

Yelp
I thought that I had written a post out my experience a few months back yet I didn't. I live about 2 hours south of Seattle and my grandmother had some medical issues which she had to spend a couple of days up at Harborview. I was starving and was looking around for something close that everyone would eat. I thought why not Burgers. I found this place online and walked down from hospital. We were greater when we walked it. It was very clean and smelt amazing. The person that took our order was very friendly. It did not take long to get our order. They did suggest next time trying a different burger as I was talking about how I love spicy and Indian food. When we got back and ate our food it was delicious and hot. I would highly recommend checking it out.
google avatar

Alexa L.

Yelp
I love the onion rings. I feel the burgers could be elevated by having a different bun, I find the bun detracts from the overall burger. Service is usually fairly speedy. They don't seem to have air conditioning so keep that in mind if deciding to go on a warm day.
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
My burger was mid at best. Meat was overcooked with no seasoning whatsoever. Sautéed onions were hard and tasteless (because they were using the hard outer part of onion). Sweet potato fries were cooked well but no seasoning.
google avatar

Richard U.

Yelp
Truth be told, i come here because this is the closest place to me that has tater tots on the menu... I love tater tots! The veggie burger i got was actually quite tasty. The patty is not some type of faux meat but rather like a falafel flattened to the shape and size of a burger patty. Quite tasty actually. Still need to try meat burgers here! Place is pretty sparse from an ambience and decor side but its pretty much a lunch time place for the surrounding hospitals.

Kristal J.

Yelp
The food is awesome! They are always busy which goes to show how good the food is, and worth the wait for sure! Hats off to all the cooks who bust their butts over those hot grills. And the hostess and wait staff for being fast and patient with all the orders!
google avatar

Niya Z.

Yelp
to be very honest, Burger King is better than this with a cheaper price. A little disappoint here French fries are crispy!

Stephanie D.

Yelp
If I could give this place zeros stars I would. If you are looking for chicken Save yourself the money and go to McDonald's. Sadly McDonald's is better tasting with better quality food. They overcook EVERYTHING! Yes there are signs that say the burgers will be well down but my chicken wings were very over cooked along with my garlic fries. Oh and if you get the wings it will ask you to choose a sauce. Choosing bbq I assumed I would get bbq wings. Nope! Got dry ass overcooked chicken wings with a side of bbq...oh and lastly, they don't have the heater running (unsure why). So the only way you don't freeze while waiting for food and eating is by sitting next to one of their plugged in portable heaters.

Bad V.

Yelp
Got a really good hamburger and vanilla shake here and took it back to the hotel across the street. Fairly quick service, food is made to order. Seems that a lot of the local medical staff eat here. Has some beers and wine too. I would come back.

Effie D.

Yelp
Staff was rude on purpose, got my order wrong, unsanitary sneezing inside shirt collar onto self and not washing hands. Missing items, the sandwich was totally falling apart and jalapeno/onions were falling on my lap, the milkshake wasn't stirred or shaken properly and was missing ingredients. Ultimately, the rudeness from the staff was it for me, I'm a super loyal customer but I can't go back after that.

Yelp
I found myself in a place I often do, hungry and in downtown Seattle, so I headed up Madison and stopped at 206 Burger. This place had been on my radar for a while and I was eager to try it. I was very impressed by the huge menu, in fact I had trouble deciding what to get. They not only had regular beef burgers, the chicken burgers, veggie burgers, salmon burgers, basically any kind of burger you could want. I was glad that the guy in front of me took and almost annoyingly long time to order, because it gave me more time to decide. Even though I've been trying to eat less beef lately, the Mushroom Swiss burger won me over. It was really good! The mushrooms were huge, and there was plenty of cheese. I felt the burger itself was slightly under season, so I did add some salt. I didn't get any sides, but I did enjoy a pint of Mac and Jack with my meal. The service was also fast and friendly, I was in and out before my 30-minute parking expired!
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting much from here, but boy, I was wrong. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, and it was delicious! What I liked the most was an actual portobello mushroom was nicely slice on top and you could actually savor those flavors. The burger did not easily fall apart while eating either. It was covered in grease or wet from the tomato and lettuce. It was just a really good burger. I personally don't like how some restaurants nowadays separate their burgers from their fries as a separate purchase. It's a classic combo, so of course I'm going to order fries or another potato side. The atmosphere here was a little cold for my liking, but it was clean and the service here was nice.

Yelp
Ended up here because I was too lazy to drive to Red Mill. For a place with a prime location, I'll just say the fact that both business was slow and reviews are limited should tell you something. When I entered, I was ignored for several minutes, when the woman finally acknowledged me, she said she was having an issue and would be with me shortly. For the next few minutes I watched her struggle to grab the orders that were ready and serve them to customers. Also a phone order came in and despite his name being on the bag and order, it took a couple minutes for her to figure things out. This didn't instill confidence, but I was here and wanted to see if the place was worth the journey. I had the206 Burger, and Parmesan fries. The patty was tiny, really small. The avocado was discolored and the fries were not hot, otherwise the cheese would have melted. It was also freezing inside of this place. They had space heaters, but I suspect they have a full heating system that they don't fire up because the kitchen puts out enough heat to keep employees toasty. A bigger patty, fresh ingredients and hit fries would have made a big difference, but in the end, this was a place that just doesn't appear to have their act together Red Robin would have been cheaper, hotter and fresher and a whole lot closer to home. It's on me for not driving the 7 extra miles to Red Mill, but I do feel better knowing that this place is not at all worthy of your time or dime. Too many burger places to choose from and I'd expect most to be better than this.
google avatar

Zach A.

Yelp
Average burgers at above average prices. Sides are vanilla as well (fries, tater tots). Milk shake was okay. Nothing wrong with this place, just not notable.
google avatar

Adrian G.

Yelp
Affordable, great burgers named after Seattle teams. Variety of burgers to choose from, and the shakes are excellent. The only downside is if you visit on a hot day, be prepared for some sun. The windows near the seating area face directly into the afternoon sun, so it can get warm inside real quick.
google avatar

Shane V.

Yelp
Very good burger and good selection of beer. All four of us enjoyed the Burgas. The royale was delicious.

Justine R.

Yelp
Wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived. Ordered the sounders burger and it was good but not amazing. The sign said that prepare all burgers at the same temp unless you specify - well, I asked for medium rare and got somewhere between medium and well done. Enjoyed the concept of the toppings on the slider but probably should have asked for the cream cheese on the side. Others in my party ordered the 206 Burger, the Mariner, and the grilled cheese. They seemed to enjoy them enough. Thought the sweet potato fries were good - not overall salted/seasoned. Hard to judge the service since it's counter ordering (though they do deliver food to your table). Ambience was what you'd expect it to be for a counter order burger bar. Would recommend it for fast creative burgers.

Alan G.

Yelp
It's pretty good but the LETTUCE TOO LEAFY and the MEAT OVERCOOKED. Give us a crispy iceberg option and the ability to order medium rare! I'm not the only one that thought this, it may be a blind spot for them but it can make or break a good burger!
google avatar

Opal D.

Yelp
Ordered for pick up. Food was prepared quickly and the guys working were friendly. Wish they had a burger bowl available (bun-less burger served on a salad).
google avatar

Randy P.

Yelp
I had the 206 breakfast sandwich. Not impressed, bacon, egg, cheese and avocado on a plain bun not toasted and no sauce. Nothing special!! Hopefully there other food is better. Probably won't be back.
google avatar

Catherine M.

Yelp
Average burger joint. Came in during lunch for classic cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, fries, onion rings, strawberry shake. $28 before tip. Left satisfied. Pros: - 2 complementary sauces with each order. LOVE!! I feel strongly about dipping sauces and theirs are tasty and free -light portions w/ reasonable prices - fast and friendly service Could be better -overall flavor... strawberry shake tasted cheap, and burgers were bland / forgettable. It did the job but doesn't quite make the foodie list
google avatar

Don B.

Yelp
We've eaten here several times while staying in the area. Many many hamburger options and great milkshakes. Staff is friendly and efficient. My choice for burgers on First Hill.
google avatar

Daisha N.

Yelp
I love this spot! It's close its consistent when I order! The burger today was delightful! (Photo; cheeseburger) I've gotten the variety of burgers on the menu from here and never disappoint! The best part is they are open on Saturdays! Next time I'm getting a fried egg or the Hawaiian I've been wanting to try them but I'm pretty basic, cheeseburger or the seahawks one! YUMMMM Got the peppermint milkshake and it needed more peppermint tasted like a vanilla milkshake and that isn't what I spend 5 bucks for! Sooo maybe add more than normal or I'll mention it! I don't want it over powering but a little more flavor please!
google avatar

Alyxandra L.

Yelp
My favorite burger place ever! More than the burgers tho... this place has some sort of special sauce that is absolutely Devine. I've have no idea what they put in it but it's FUNKY in the BEST way. When i was pregnant, the only thing i wanted was French Fries and house sauce from 206!
google avatar

Stephanie J.

Yelp
The place had a strong smell of cleaning products, like ammonia. I ordered a Cobb chicken salad. The man at the front who was working brought our food to our table which was nice. The salad tasted great. There was not enough dressing for the salad, but to some a little bit is all they need. My friend had the chicken sandwich with fries and he thought the salt was clumped in one spot. The chicken sandwich he let me try was decent. The prices were a tad bit high for what it was worth, but the location made up for that. There was no other burger joint close by.
google avatar

Dionee H.

Yelp
Every time I order through DoorDash, I never receive the drink that goes with it. Have my mouth already for a banana shake Other then that my salmon burger was great
google avatar

Tim M.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and my experience was just kind of meh. For the price of the food, it was just marginally good. There was no searing on the meat and just tasted like it had been stored in water or something. It had very little flavor. Fries were decent. Nothing to write home about, probably won't come back honestly. Staff was friendly and ambience was okay.
google avatar

Megan C.

Yelp
What a disappointment. The lady at the front was clearly annoyed by having someone come in to order. It appears that the place has stayed in business because of its location near to the hospital, but do yourself a favor and just walk right by this place if you're looking for something to eat. The prices are high for such low quality food and poor service.
