"How did it strike you on arrival?I'm amazed this refined and chic hotel is in Arkansas. Artwork is clearly part of this property's DNA, and I wasn't disappointed in what I saw. Nice. What’s the crowd like? This crowd feels like they came straight from Art Basel. Upon arrival, the lobby played host to a coven of chic, Rick Owens-wearing folks who sported sunglasses indoors and glared at the art. How was check-in? No issues. I was expecting arrivals to feel icy, but was greeted and promptly showed to my room. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.I was in a Luxury King suite. Though the decor followed a modern aesthetic, the room still kept a cozy vibe. I had concerns that it was going to be like staying in a gallery with a bed, but the 386-square-foot room was bright and inviting. The colors in the room were very neutral, but pops of art on the wall kept it all interesting. The lighting in the bathroom made for incredible selfies, and I was obsessed with the brass fixtures. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase?I was so smitten with the original artwork on the walls. Malin+Goetz bath amenities and in-room Nespresso were perfect touches. Room service and food: Worth it?The on-site restaurant is called The Hive. Keeping with the name, the spot is decked out with honeycomb and bees, a curious look. I loved how The Hive played on its southern location and offered familiar flavors like deviled eggs, pimento cheese, and pasture-raised fried chicken, but had an unfamiliar and refreshing take on them. Go for the Hive Burger. Pimento cheese and tomato jam make it one of a kind. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Bentonville is honestly adorable. You'll be able to explore by foot and soak-in the small town vibes of the place. Do visit the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Bottom line: worth it, and why?Truthfully, I feel like there's a lack of value in the property for the price of the room. Though the service and dinning was memorable, the hotel feels like a one-note type of stay, relying too heavily on what's on the walls." - Corbin Chamberlin

This was such a nice hotel, great location. They are doing construction but it did not bother us at all. Amenities were awesome. Room was nicely decorated with a nice bed and sheets. We will definitely stay here again. Expensive but very worth it.

Stayed at 21c Hotel in Bentonville, Arkansas recently with my family and had an outstanding experience. The staff went out of their way to take care of us. The hotel’s restaurant was top notch in both the quality of the food and service. I highly recommend staying and enjoying the 21c hotel in Bentonville.

The hotel was visually appealing, with nice art in the public areas—I especially loved the green penguins. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The property was chaotic due to ongoing construction and felt overpriced for what we received. The rooms were fine, with good quality towels and sheets, but the staff lacked warmth and the ability to genuinely connect with guests. After 60 years of traveling around the world, this was one of the most disappointing stays I've had. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel.

My daughter and I loved the entire experience. The green penguins was an amazing touch. We loved the museum the gift shop and the location was perfect to go eat and they were having a farmers market. It was just a great weekend. We will be back.

We had a fantastic time at the 21c Museum Hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious enough for a crib, making it a great choice for families. My oldest child thoroughly enjoyed the interactive art in the hotel. The location was ideal, conveniently situated near several restaurants, including Wrights BBQ, Onyx, and Table Mesa, etc. There was even a splash pad next to the hotel, perfect for our children on a hot evening. The only downside was the significant construction project right in front of the hotel, which made it difficult to find the hotel due to blocked roads. However, they compensated for this inconvenience by providing drink vouchers.

Had a wonderful staycation here. Slept so well, linens and bed were so comfortable. It can get a little loud in this location as it’s smack dab in the middle of the square alongside late night bars and is also a wedding reception venue. But, we brought a noise machine this time. They also provide ear plugs and a sleep mask which was a nice touch. The burger we ordered for room service was just top notch, the highlight of my trip ha! Love the lighting options, the spacious rooms, the smart TVs. This is definitely my pick for a night away.

Google
I went to check out the artwork. For the most part it wasn’t my style. There was a series from a photographer who visited that caught my eye(my family is Cuban). The photographer had locals dress up in everyday items located in their homes. It really showed their creativity.

While I appreciated the offer of a free drink due to the construction, i would have appreciated even more consideration for parking in the garage. Way too many spaces in the covered section were reserved for valet parking vs. self park.

Yelp
We planned a trip to Bentonville with some friends to come and see the Crystal Bridges Art Museum. Everyone we spoke to recommended that we stay at the 21C and we certainly did not regret the choice. The hotel is centrally located right off of the town square and within walking distance of Crystal Bridges, The Momentary and pretty much every place we wanted to go the whole weekend. In fact, the only uber we took was to the Coler Mountain Bike Preserve to hike one morning. One interesting thing of note was that our friends arrived the day after we did and after they checked into their room they sent us a photo asking if our room looked the same. Our room was lovely and spacious and swathed in neutral colors. Theirs..... was not. I joked that maybe their room was an art installation. Turns out that it was! We asked about it at the front desk and room 333 is an art installation that the computer assigns at random. It was only odd that they weren't tipped off when they checked in. Still a large lovely room and a funny story to tell when we got home. Good restaurant/bar inside of the hotel and a great gym that is even outfitted with Peloton bikes. Would happily recommend this hotel to friends that were planning a trip to Bentonville.

Yelp
I love this hotel, some of the art work is not really my style, but the people are amazing. From the valet to the front desk to the restaurant- everyone is welcoming and friendly. The room is very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The mini-frig was cold. The bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. Only thing that could be improved is to have streaming available on the tv's in the room.

Yelp
Recently stayed here on a business trip and was not disappointed. Was motivated to book based on location and general upkeep of the facility and was definitely not disappointed. Greeted warmly at the door and front desk. They provided a convenient list of all the attractions and restaurants in the area. Seamless check-in/check-out process. Room was spacious, comfortable, with Malin + Goetz toiletries. Did not realize the space is a literal museum which elevated the overall vibe of the establishment. Nice bar house on the 1st floor. Room service was well executed (and breakfast tasty). You really can't beat this location. Will definitely stay again on a return trip.

Yelp
We stayed here for a wedding. Some things were great like the beds. The beds are a ten. I appreciated the heavy bathroom door, but the air whistling constantly from the plumbing system was quite annoying and should be addressed by a licensed plumber. The food was good, but some of the combinations were odd. The art was fun and fantastic. The valet folks were super responsive and nice. Some of the streets were closed on Friday and Saturday and made for quite a bit of confusion and stress for us since we had an elderly relative with us.

Dustin E.

Yelp
We very much enjoyed our stay @ 21c Bentonville. We were in town for our niece's wedding and she recommended this hotel. It was very pricey but nice. They don't miss a thing. I wish there had been an ice machine on our floor, as we needed some. The check-in process was a bit too casual for us, but everything else was fantastic! We loved looking at all the artwork on the first floor.

Marcella N.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel in a great location. We were able to walk to almost everything in the area. The art is super cool to see as well. And the restaurant cannot be missed. Our hotel room was very nice, with a comfy king bed with soft linens, yummy coffee, and a spacious bathroom. Plenty of room to get ready and do my hair and makeup. I also worked remotely at their nice desk set-up. Loved this place.

Hunter S.

Yelp
The hotel actually is very nice, but the museum is why people stay here. Check in staff (I think his name was Adam) was super nice and helpful. He gave me hotel info as well as a page of nearby restaurants. The sheets are smooth and the beds are comfortable. I stayed in a luxury king and the layout was great. There was a lounge chair and ottoman as well as a large fabric bench along the corner and a table. It's actually one of my favorite room layouts I've seen in a while. Of course the art is the main attraction. Not my favorite 21C exhibits ever, but the art in these hotels always change frequently. You never know what you'll find. They have a restaurant, called The Hive (reviewed separately), which was excellent. I paid around 300 for a Monday night. Probably worth it because it's right on the town square and within walking distance of tons of shops & restaurants and close driving for everything else. They have valet parking for nine dollars a night, but their valet is located in the same attached garage for free public parking, so not sure it's worth it. Recommended if you're visiting Bentonville.

Yelp
The hotel is in a great location and the staff is amazing. I had my team here for an event - the conference part of it was quite expensive but the penguins running the hotel almost made up for it! The hotel staff from front desk, the bar, housekeeping and valet was great. I'd stay at this brand again.

Yelp
If I had not stayed at 21c OKC before this one, this might be a five star rating. What is great about this hotel is the service and the location. I was expecting more art but please note that two of the galleries were closed while we were there for our two night stay. There was very little art on the guest floors and nothing in the rooms. I am guessing that this was a hotel in a previous life and that may be why it lacked some cool vibes (again, I kept comparing to OKC's that is located in an old car factory). Two water bottles are in the rooms (and thank goodness they were still doing maid service and restocking during COVID). We also asked at the front desk and were given extra water before our daily treks. When we were there, they were offering a bit of breakfast of the self-serve variety: bagels, yogurt, a bit of fruit, and granola bars. This might have been because of COVID and precautions. Not sure but it was sufficient for us. I did think that it was a bit pricey. I know that OKC rates are cheaper and you get more of a destination stay. But, the art that was on display was very thought-provoking and I appreciated that. I will probably mark this off my list (but I want to visit all the other 21c properties.)

Yelp
Such a cool hotel! Amazing art collection, great place to be entertained and have something to eat..yummy food and drinks

Danny H.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere with great drinks! Would definitely go back again. I can't remember what it was called but the spicy tequila drink was delicious.

Ralphie S.

Yelp
Anytime I'm traveling through NWA, I always make a pitstop at 21c to check out the art collection. What's not to love about a 1st class collection of contemporary art that is well curated in a lobby / gallery and is free to enter. 21c has now come to my hometown of Kansas City and it appears the collection rotates through their multiple museum / hotel locations as one would expect. I had planned on having a meal at The Hive (separate 5 star review from that experience) as I did a few years ago, but due to Covid, seating is reduced and they were booked solid on the Friday evening I walked in. Without a bar to sit at, I ordered a drink and wandered the lobby galleries. I slowly began to feel that this entire experience was in itself an art experiment; masked humans with drinks in hand, wandering through sparsely crowded hallways while avoiding contact and trying to make sense of not just the art, but the moment we are in. Thank you 21c for providing a bit of surrealism, gravity and whimsy while I deal with pre-election, third wave Covid, existential Friday night angst. Is it appropriate to ponder Contemporary art while drinking an Old Fashioned?

Kristen M.

Yelp
I happened across a 21c Museum Hotel on accident, when I was booking a trip to OKC and scored the HotWire lotto by getting a hot rate deal at the OKC 21c Museum Hotel! I have been a fan ever since! To date we have stayed at 5 properties, so I was beyond excited to find one here in NWA when we moved here 2 years ago! I have not stayed overnight at the Be property yet, but hope to in the near future for a little stay-cation. I have been in several times to walk through their art gallery, which is free! Currently the gallery is closed unless you are a guest of the hotel or dining at The Hive, because of Covid. I can't think of a better date night than dinner at The Hive and browsing the art at 21c. The exhibits are always though provoking and interesting. The employees are knowledgeable, helpful and so friendly! Watch out for the penguins! Each 21c has a flock of penguins, and the Bentonville flock is green! When we aren't in a pandemic, the penguins are the only art in each Museum that you can touch and interact with. You will see a few penguins on-site with Covid restrictions in place, but the penguins are socially distancing - so most are out of commission.

Zoë D.

Yelp
This is by far the best hotel in the area. I come here for work 10-15 times per year so I have tried a lot of hotel but the 21c is the best. Great accommodations, super friendly staff, and a great restaurant/bar that changes the menu seasonally which I appreciate as a frequent traveler! The art is another added perk! I just wish this hotel had a spa! I would be willing to pay anything for a nice massage and a sauna after a long day at work.

Lizzy Y.

Yelp
We stayed in a luxury suite for two nights at 21c. It was a splurge since we have friends in from out of town. At 6 AM every morning, the dumpster emptying situation right outside our bedroom wall made the loudest noise and woke us up. When I complained about the 6 AM wake up noise to the lady at checkout, she completely ignored me and wouldn't even acknowledge the situation. Not even an "I'm sorry" was issued. Definitely not a discount which should have been made. Waste of money, or great if you don't like to sleep.

Yelp
What an amazing boutique hotel! I came here to check out the new artwork installation on migration and settlement The hotel staff werewelcoming and offered me water While I wait for my Colleagues which was really nice of them. The installations at the hotel changes after some time. The migration installation was very unique and plays on Current world issues on migration and resettlement aswell as the effects of wars that affects people. The installation was thought-provoking. His free to the public for viewing They also provide guided tours sometimes. They have a giftshop as Well that features local artist items which I liked the idea the artis all over the hotel and on each floor Whic can only be accessed by people staying at the hotel. There is ample parking around Its a great place to visit and learn

Jocelyn R.

Yelp
What a lovely place to stay - and this made me want to check out the other 21C locations for sure! Convenient to everything in Bentonville, bike valet, free breakfast (which I slept through - twice - but I still appreciate the gesture?!) and nicely appointed rooms, PLUS some really interesting art to look at in the lobby and throughout AND the ever-on-the-move green penguin made this a fun visit.

Yelp
Coming to Bentonville I booked this hotel as it seemed to really be the only upscale offering in town and seemed to have a cool artsy vibe in addition to cool artwork to check out. Sadly, I was really disappointed and honestly probably would have had a better stay at the local Holiday Inn. After checking in, I entered the elevator and detected an odor as if someone had let one loose in the elevator. A bit gross but temporary I thought as I pressed the button for my 2nd floor room. I walked out of the elevator into the hallway and the smell had seemed to follow me. Hmmm, perhaps the person had also gotten off on the same floor and left a trail. I entered my room 219 and still smelled this rotten egg fart smell in my room. After chilling out for about 30 minutes, I could not take it anymore and called down to the front desk. They offered to send an "engineer" but I stated that I just wanted my room moved. By this point it smelled as if a sewer pipe had broken. The desk clerk confirmed she smelled it too and then moved me to a room one floor and two rooms over above the one I was just in. There was a slight smell (not sure why they didn't move me to one of the other ends of the hotel) but I was just tired of moving around. Upon entering the new room and trying to settle I heard what can only be described as a gale force wind coming from the bathroom. No worries, I thought, I will just go in and switch off the fan. Unfortunately, none of the 3 switches controlled the fan which was roaring like a wind tunnel. I called again to the front desk, who this time sent up the engineer, who came prepared with a cardboard cover and some blue tape and a ladder. Apparently this is an issue in every room and they are aware of it. He taped the cover onto the fan, which is unable to shut off, and now the bathroom would no longer have a functioning fan...which you need to keep the steam off of the mirror. The next morning ready to take a shower, i notice there is little to no water pressure. Also, there is no hook or shelf near the shower to keep a towel in easy reach. The shower curtain rod is so high and close to the ceiling that you can't drape the towel over it. After my miserable shower in which I could barely get the soap out of my hair, I step out to grab my towel only to find out it the size of a large scarf or small shawl. Are you kidding me? and no this was not the hand towel, the was the BATH towel. Yikes. I literally wiped myself off and put on the robe that was hanging on the one hook that was 6 feet away from the shower. I wanted to order breakfast and there was no menu in the room, no qr code, no nothing. When I called down the woman offered to run a menu up to me instead. Who has time for that! I have a business meeting I need to get to. What have you got with eggs??? I get a half decent quinoa protein bowl with two poached eggs and truly look forward to getting out of here. Oh and by the way, the chair in the room, is sort of like a chaise recliner, not great to sit in to eat your breakfast at the little table in the room. Ugh.... Checking out of this disaster, I tell the front desk everything that transpired and I get a shallow "I'm sorry". With all the business at Walmart HQ you would think someone would open up a high end hotel. This hotel is too concerned with curating it's art exhibits than offering the high end hotel experience it charges for. If you are coming to Bentonville, do yourself a favor and book the best Holiday Inn or La Quinta or Embassy Suites you can find in the area. Likely it won't be much better than this place but at least you won't be paying for it.

Linda O.

Yelp
Excellent concept! Loved wandering thru the hotel lobby and conference rooms viewing the various art displays. I did not stay in the hotel. A free shuttle runs from the hotel to Crystal Bridges and The Momentary. The bee bar in the hotel looked fun and I just love the penguins atop the hotel.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Short Review: Best hotel in the area. Books quickly as a result, but if you can get in you should. Right off the old main square in Bentonville and steps away from the Walton Museum. Nice size rooms, very comfortable beds, full bar and restaurant in lobby, friendly service. Long Review: Look, I'm a Cali girl...swimming pools, movie stars. So when I have to go into Bentonville Arkansas, I enjoy staying somewhere that's a good substitute for home. 21C is that. Very nice hotel with bellhops out front (I think that's unique in the area) as they are catering to the executive crowd. When you walk into the lobby, it really does resemble the entrance to a traditional museum...because it is. They've got very unique pieces all over the place, from local and far away artists. Paintings, statues, relics, and these crazy green penguins that seem to move around all day because they show up everywhere - including right outside my door once! Scared the crap out of me, but was immediately funny. The rooms are a very nice size, each with a large bathroom (with black backlit light for night lights!), comfortable beds, 50" flat screens, and one of those corner sitting areas that's either a breakfast nook or a working table. Quite nice. The food is your traditional southern menu. You can get grits and homemade biscuits, not to mention sweet tea. Room service is pretty fast, but so is the dining service at the restaurant. You also have a couple of eating options very close by if you'd like as well. The hotel sits right off what clearly was the original downtown square. The city hall is on one side, a few restaurants and shops on two sides, and of course the Walton museum on the fourth side which is really an ode to Sam Walton. Hell, they even have his old truck he used to drive inside, complete with his rifle in the front seat! Its all very charming....right up until you get to the very large confederate statue sitting in the middle of the square - which is surrounded by gardens ironically named Compton Gardens! LOL (If you're from Los Angeles, you'll get it.) But I digress... 21C is a great hotel. They treat us "you aren't from around these parts" folks really well, provide a warm, comfortable spot to stay and that's all I can ask for. I stay there every time.

Yelp
Thank you for response from management! Seems like the "Steve Wilson" team is perfect but the French Management team of personnel is failing. Very nice rooms. Fascinating art work. We haven't eaten yet but... 1. Parking is in back of hotel with no back entrance 2. Two front desk employees did not crack a smile 3. Room phone was hard to figure out 4. Wifi code was not on key and I had to call front desk 5. Front desk put me on hold after 15 rings 6. When we called in for reservation confirmation as we were pulling up for early check in they could not find our reservations even though we gave them confirmation #. They had put in last name first, first name last. Only after getting transferred to 800# were they able to confirm. Not a good start. We have reservations for dinner at The Hive and hope all will turn out well.

Summer C.

Yelp
This review is not about staying in the rooms, but everything else! I live nearby, but come here often to either look at the art, eat, or hang out in the lounge area. Very cool place to stay or hang out. There is a museum/art gallery in the lobby area. They change out the art every so often. The art is very unique and eclectic. There is a museum gift shop available where you can buy some cool and unique gift items for yourself or a friend! Throughout the hotel downstairs they have unique art work. Down by the bathrooms (the other side of the hotel from the lobby) is some cool art. Some permanent and some that changes. Down near the bathrooms is a large meeting room. Customer service in the lounge/lobby area is good. The employees are friendly and helpful. The lounge/bar area is a cool place to hang out. It is connect to their restaurant the Hive. Overall, a great place to come!

Yelp
Wow! Disregard previous reviews that this 21c Museum Hotel isn't ready to shine. We've hit nearly every 21c over the last several years (many times), and we found 21c Bentonville OUTSTANDING. Parking is readily available on the street or by very reasonably priced valet. Our check-in experience with Denise was so positive! Jesse did double-duty as co-manager and helped us with luggage transfer. Our room was quiet & big; clean and comfortable. What a view too! Lighting was great. The thermostat easily adjusted. Bed and bedding most comfortable. Art work was ubiquitous. Many pieces were interactive, fun and funny. Indeed, it goes without saying that the 21c consistently pushes thought-provoking buttons, and the current art here is not exempt. So well done. Morning coffee in the lobby is terrific and highly recommended. Loved the Fitness space with Peleton bikes. I recommend the adjoining bar too. We enjoyed well crafted beverages and an appetizer there..., but that's another Review!

Yelp
I booked a room at the 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville in the Fall of 2019 for March 2020, and for the first time ever took the prepaid discount. When the pandemic closed the hotel for my stay, I assumed I was out the money but the hotel, very graciously, credited my nights for use anytime this year. When we rebooked for October 2020, they said rates were higher than for what I paid but the hotel, very graciously, honored the original rates. Thank you! We arrived at around 5:15PM on a Friday, and drove around the hotel and the garage four times, looking for a place to unload our week's worth of road trip luggage. The street in front of the hotel was bumper-to-bumper parked cars: no flashers, no loading or unloading, just parked. There were no signs welcoming guests or indicating where they should unload their luggage. There was no entrance to the hotel from the garage. Finally, I stopped in the garage and called the front desk for guidance. No answer. Fortunately, I saw a mini van in the garage with three women getting out and unloading their weekend roller luggage. I asked one about the unloading and check in situation. She said they were told to park in the garage, but NOT in the 21C valet spots even though there was no valet, and schlepp the luggage down the short flight of stairs, up the sidewalk on the side of the hotel, then around to the entrance on the front. When I got to the front door, some exiting guests were nice enough to hold the door for me. I entered and dropped my luggage to the side and was immediately welcomed by the doorman who took my temperature and started his COVID questioning. I interrupted and said, "Excuse me, I need to go get my wife because I thought I was staying at a real hotel with a loading zone and luggage carts." I saw the luggage cart inside the doorway and grabbed it to go fetch my wife who was just rounding the corner to the front of the hotel. (BTW, we're youngish "Senior Citizens.") When we went to check it, I started to mention the parking situation and the desk clerk (who, from the hotel's Facebook page is a star employee) interrupted with his canned parking spiel, which was unhelpful since I had already parked. Rather than push it, I finished checking in and figured I'd deal with it at check out. All of the handrails in both elevators are loose and appear to be falling off the the walls. Details, details. The room was remarkably lackluster. The chest-of-drawers was water damaged on top (from the coffee maker?) and a drawer front was cracked. We had reservations for The Hive that night. Holy cow. Phenomenal. That restaurant, alone, is worth a trip to Bentonville. The window treatments were very well done, letting in the morning sun, but not the heat. Unfortunately, that beautiful sun highlighted all of the stains on the upholstery. Seriously gross. Beyond a detail... The metal light fixture hanging down rigidly over the table in the sitting area is perfectly positioned to bang my head on the first, and maybe even second time I stood up from the table, and I'm only 5'8". There was a good dent in the fixture from another poor sap, and what may have been a spot of blood, too. Details. The shower door opens out, dripping water on the bathroom floor after your shower. Details. Some sort of turbo-jet bathroom fan runs nonstop. If you close the bathroom door it won't disturb your sleep too much. Details... When you need ice, you call to the front desk and very quickly a nice, friendly, person arrives at your door with a bag of ice. Of course, the amount of ice is about 30% more than will fit in the ice bucket, but why should we start paying attention to details now? When we walked out of the hotel Saturday morning, I was shocked to see a fire hydrant and a no parking zone hashed-out on the street near the art car. Wow. People were allowed to park in a fire lane on Friday. Aside from the front desk staff, the staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located for walking to Crystal Bridges and The Momentary. When we checked out Monday morning, I explained our check in experience to the desk clerk (not the star employee,) saying that no matter how nice our stay was, that check-in ruined this hotel. He, at least, let me speak, but kept on shaking his head and saying "No," as in, "No, you did not experience that." One excuse he gave was, "The police enforce that no parking zone." A lot of hotels have designated, hotel-controlled areas for guest loading and unloading. Details... May I suggest to management that they coach their staff to say, "That is unacceptable and we will take steps to ensure that doesn't happen again. Thank you for bringing this to our attention." But, details... Management at 21c Bentonville should visit another art gallery hotel, The Alexander in Indianapolis, to see how nice an experience their hotel could be.

Yelp
This is the coolest hotel in the quaintest little town. The art and design always gives you something to look at, and the restaurant/bar is top shelf all the way. I love the weird green penguin statues that move around the hotel. Close walking distance to everything in the center of town. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I have been to Bentonville several times but never had seen this spot until I happened upon it on my last trip. Boy was I excited that so did. Walking in the door service was so awesome they immediately greeted us and opened the door took our picture next to the first exhibit which is one of the moving penguins which always finds its way around the museum section. From there we browsed around the exhibits and I was very impressed by the variety of styles displayed. Some very unique pieces and a display of the power of women were the current exhibits of most interest. There was one section I wouldn't recommend for smaller children. Mature audiences only.

Yelp
They have horrible WiFi and the staff and management know it. Appreciate that things are delayed but they should be responsible enough to let people know this when they book the property. You can't have a hotel in this day and age where people work remotely and not have relatable basic internet. I do like the property and hate giving one star but maybe it will motivate someone to do something about this

Yelp
i was with a group a friends & before we went back home, we made sure to stop by this place. outside of that hotel itself, the gallery on the first floor was incredible. it all starts outside while we were parking. you had to keep a lookout because there was art all over the place, indoors & outdoors. we were greeted as soon as we walked in. as soon as we passed by the greeter, there was a big open space filled with big pieces of art (take a look at the photos i posted to get an idea). we spent a good hour & some change there, it seemed as if the first floor was everlasting, just flowing with art. there's a restaurant called the hive that's connected to it, we didn't check it out this time around, definitely going to check it out the next time i come back. i want to check out the rooms next, i bet it gets even better.

Yelp
I've always love the concept of a boutique hotel married with contemporary art. This location in Bentonville is larger than the original in Louisville Kentucky. I like some of the nuances in the original location however this is a very nice hotel.

Yelp
If you're looking for a place to stay that's withing walking distance of all the great foodie spots in town, the 21c Museum and Hotel is the perfect place to stay! It is right in the heart of downtown Bentonville, Arkansas, so when you're there you're within walking distance of many restaurant, shops, boutiques, and more! It was a really unique experience staying in a hotel that is so much more than a typical hotel. Every room has been carefully designed, every floor has art displayed by local artists, and the hotel lobby has a full museum in it, so you never really know where the hotel stops and the museum begins - you actually become part of the hotel when you stay here. And, of course, the green penguins can't be missed - the morning we checked out, the elevator doors opened and we found a 4 foot tall lime green penguin staring us straight in the face - so fun!

Yelp
Such a cool space! I visited 21c to check out the museum and had the best time. The valets and other customer service folks were very friendly and told us about their favorite pieces currently on view. The lobby is decked out and looks like something straight out of an interior design magazine or on a blogger site. Everything from the lighting and seating to the customer service area and the amazing artwork is gorgeous. The art was mostly contemporary with a nice mix of paintings, sculptures, digital/mixed media, and photography. My favorite was a flashing neon sign that read, "PRETTY.UGLY." I snapped a pic or two of that one and few other dope pieces. They also have a fun gift shop that has some unique finds for your picky friend or relative who doesn't like generic souvenirs. I also highly suggest beginning or ending your visit with cocktails at the Hive!

Yelp
Loving all these people are doing at this adorable hotel to keep folks safe and the surfaces clean.

Yelp
We just had a wonderful stay at this excellent boutique hotel! It's perfection, the service is exemplary! Just an all around perfect trip!

Yelp
Super cool joint. This place is awesome and super unique, which is apparent from the first time you approach the property, with just the outside entrance you will find a globe illuminating the night. When you walk in, the lobby has really cool artwork on the walls, furniture, and their signature green penguin statues. The staff is really nice and helpful and the check-in process is easy and painless. There is free WiFi too, always a nice and welcome touch. It's basically like staying inside an art museum, as you get off the elevators and walk down the halls, there's more interesting and modern art work and sculptures and they've done a great job paying attention to every little detail. The rooms are modern, minimalist with quirky and unique touches: the TCHO chocolates on the bed, the rubber duck in the shower, the Malin + Goetz bath products, cool furniture and artwork on the wall. I wish whoever designed the rooms could come to my house and recreate that same space in my bedroom. It's definitely more expensive than the chain hotels in Bentonville - a room will be around $200-$250 vs. your $150 Sheraton or Hyatt, but it's definitely worth splurging the extra money for a unique experience and a more enjoyable experience.

Yelp
I love this hotel, and wish I could hire their decorator to take care of my apartment back in Brooklyn! The have lovely welcoming staff, a great gym (though tv cable signal was out on the treadmill, but I had a podcast for company). SUPER comfy beds and great restaurant for drinks/b'fast. They think about all the details and make each stay just as wonderful as the last.

Yelp
Stayed here several times and it is always a treat. The rooms are lovely, especially the suites, and the staff is super helpful. The art is thought-provoking and the location is perfect for visitors to the square and Crystal Bridges. We like to get a cocktail from the bar, browse the galleries, and then head out for the evening.

Yelp
Spectacular. We live in New York City and Palm Beach and tend to be Four Seasons Hotel people. One of our friends was flying to Bentonville for the night and wanted some company so asked us to join.....which we did. We had no idea what to expect and were blown away. First, we are art collectors and were surprised by the space allotted to galleries and the curated shows on the lobby floor. Then we were surprised by the sophistication. Of course the people who work here are nice (it's the midwest, everyone is nice) but we were shocked by the way the rooms were designed. We had a King Deluxe which was something we'd have done in our own home..............except the mattresses are better. Then came breakfast room service..........perfect and exactly on time. We decided to have dinner in the hotel at The Hive and we liked it very much. When we left in the morning to go to the airport, we found that our plane was grounded because of the weather in Florida. We have the joy of President Trump in Palm Beach so we couldn't fly back to PB and had to fly to Boca Raton. We were told that the guess was that we would have to wait in the terminal for 5 hours and get to Boca around midnight.....so we decided to go back to the hotel and spend a second night. We laughed all the way back. We were delighted to spend another night at 21c.......and they put us back in the same rooms and we felt like we were returning home. I know this sounds ridiculous but this hotel is out of the ordinary......and $250 for the first night and $219 for the second makes it the bargain of the year. Normally, I'd say "they get it" but this doesn't come close to expressing what a fabulous place this is. Thanks Y'all.

Yelp
The front desk people gave us a very bad first impression of this hotel. We asked to change our room (right after checking in) and they refused- saying that the hotel is full and all guests were "pre assigned ". Meanwhile there were plenty of guests checking in after us - it was early afternoon not the end of the day. The reason we asked to change was because the air conditioning wasn't working; so the front desk sends up the engineer. The air conditioning was working fine, he told us that as this is a green room the air conditioning doesn't turn on unless you're in the room. He gets these complaints all the time. Why the front desk doesn't know that is incomprehensible. A bad first impression.

Yelp
We had an amazing stay at the 21c Museum Hotel! I was told that the hotel had art in it, but I was not expecting the high quantity and quality of the art! There were so many different galleries and different kinds of pieces. I was expecting a few paintings, but was blown away by the art! The room was also incredible. The bed was comfy and there was a lot of space in the room and bathroom. There were lots of modern and fun features as well. The bar/restaurant downstairs, "The Hive", was really great for a night cap. I didn't have any food there, but the gin and tonic (with house made tonic) was one of the best I have ever had. It was a really nice spot to relax after a day of exploring! One of my most favorite aspects of the 21c Hotel was the army of green penguin statues that seemed to follow you around. They were constantly being moved to new locations, and it was just a fun little detail. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Bentonville area. The staff, amenities, and art are excellent!

Yelp
Meaningful photography, sculptures, and exhibits. I love that the Penguins bring out the weirdness in people. You'll see them next to people's dinner tables on the restaurant side. Right now, there's an exhibit with live pigeons in it that sort of grosses me out. Maybe that's the point. Pigeons are birds too you know. I feel fortunate to have visited this because it's sort of a Bentonville gem!

Yelp
Let me preface this by saying that I travel a lot - I'm on the road 30-40% of the time, and have stayed in a hotel at least 30 times just this year. I've got a fierce loyalty to SPG, and was pretty reluctant to stay here in lieu of accruing more status with SPG. This is the prettiest, coolest hotel I've stayed at; it's beautiful, starting with just the outside entrance with a globe illuminating the night. When you walk in, the lobby has really cool artwork on the walls, furniture, and their signature green penguin statues. The staff is really nice and helpful and the check-in process was really easy and painless. There is free WiFi too, always a nice and welcome touch. It's basically like staying inside an art museum, as you get off the elevators and walk down the halls, there's more interesting and modern art work and sculptures and they've done a great job paying attention to every little detail. The rooms are modern, minimalistic with quirky and unique touches: the TCHO chocolates on the bed, the rubber duck in the shower, the Malin + Goetz bath products, cool furniture and artwork on the wall. I wish whoever designed the rooms could come to my house and recreate that same space in my bedroom. I never thought I would say this - for both a hotel and for Bentonville - but I wanted to stay here longer to enjoy the space. One night wasn't enough. The hotel is also in a great location - walking distance to lots of great restaurants and the Walmart museum. I almost never cheat on SPG, but I've found the one hotel that I would totally cheat on SPG with again. It's definitely more expensive than the chain hotels in Bentonville - a room will be around $200-$250 vs. your $150 Sheraton or Hyatt, but it's definitely worth splurging the extra money for a unique experience and a more enjoyable experience. If I come back here again, or visit any of other cities they have these hotels in, I'm definitely staying here again. Stop reading other reviews and comparing hotels, and just book this place!

Yelp
Question : Where can you stay for $250 per night , have no in room service (the beds were not made and the wastebaskets not emptied), have the first 2 Nespresso machines not work, and have to call room service for replacements for everything? At the 21c Museum Hotel. Be warned !!! Ann Stewart

Yelp
OK, so I travel a lot for work and I have my commitment to points programs, but I'll consider staying at a primo hotel if it is worth it. I think that 21c is worth it - once. But now that I've done it, there isn't anything about it that makes me want to stay there every time I visit Bentonville. It is a very interesting hotel, but most of what makes it interesting you can see from the lobby. That is assuming you're into very modern art - this not classic paintings and sculpture, but truly modernist art. As someone who went to art school at the start of his college career, I find a lot of it to be good but also just as much of it to feel like B.S. So if the art doesn't mean a lot to you, then you're left with the hotel itself. Hotel staff - friendly but I get the distinct feeling of "cooler than thou" from them. Not rude, but that kind of hipster vibe that feels like they are tolerating you rather than welcoming you. Rooms themselves - Perfectly fine with a few pieces of interesting artwork, and a cool pillow or two on the couch, but really, the rooms are surprisingly grey in almost everything else. Beds are nice. Couch is hard. Workspace is OK. Lighting isn't great, but windows are big. Bathrooms are roomy. Everything is clean and nice, but I can't really say it is leaps and bounds above a really nice Westin or a new Intercontinental. Location - hard to beat in Bentonville as it is within walking distance of the town square. Not necessarily better than if you're in town for business - depends on where your business is. So yeah, stay here if you visit Bentonville regularly. If you like collecting points, stay here once and go back to getting points. If you really like a break from chain hotels and enjoy funky modern art, stay here a lot. For me, I'll stick with my points.

Yelp
This review is strictly about the hotel bar: Met up with a friend last night for drinks. This hotel bar was full of people - some hotel guests, some locals. Bartender had an attitude to go along with his "Grizzly Adams" "hip" "high maintenance" beard. Pleeeaase - shave that thing!! Someone's got to to him that if he wants to make $$ "tips" he needs to lighten up and be social - not just a "dick" behind a bar. The bartender at Frisco's bar in downtown Rogers besides being a good bartender is much nicer and social - which equals $$ good "tips". The place is small, the bar itself is nothing special. If visiting the area, there are other bars you should visit before going here.

Yelp
Good food, wonderful, accommodating staff. The creativity of the chef is a welcome breath of fresh air. Would love to see more items offered dairy and pork-free, though they are always eager to take a special order. They serve my favorite Onyx Coffee. Lack of 5 star rating is due to how long the food takes to come out of the kitchen. Don't miss this experience if you have time to take it all in.

Yelp
This is a must do in Bentonville! Such an interesting concept. It's a museum and a hotel. They showcase modern art and the exhibit changes frequently so it's always fresh and new. As an interesting twist, they have large plastic green penguins (each 21c has a different thing) that move around "mysteriously" appearing in random places. Our dinner was shared with a lovely penguin. Dinner was amazing! The menu is incredibly unique. The chef using modern fusion with some food southern staples. I attached the menu from our visit. Everything was prepared perfectly and beautifully. And to top it all off, fluffy green cotton candy comes with the bill. Should you go tonight? YES!

Yelp
Wonderful boutique hotel! Our dinner reservations were at 6:30pm. We checked in at 6:28pm. It is now 8:09pm and we have had wine and one appetizer. Never again. Unacceptable--in any restaurant !!

Yelp
Terrific food and such friendly service. I am always amazed by this place. Great lunch or dinner spot.

Yelp
We stayed this weekend and had such a fabulous time! This place is quirky & cool. The room was spacious, clean, and the decor was modern, but comfy. Housekeeping must be ninjas. They were quick, thorough & replenished everything so quickly. The penguins...oh my...we had such fun moving them around our floor. You never knew where they were going to end up. The restaurant was the same. Penguins can dine with you. The food was AMAZING! Chef even accommodated a dietary issue for us. We had dinner and lunch at The Hive (the restaurant). You MUST try the sweet and spicy fries - absolutely addicting. Even the drinks were delicious. I highly recommend the Kentucky Daisy. I was surprised at how refreshing that drink was. They have an extensive selection of beers and bourbons. The servers (Bret & Ryan), managers, and chef were on point. Every employee was over the top nice. We felt like stars. This will definitely be a place we will return to!
