Google
Really yummy, fun place to watch them roll the ice cream . 13 year old loved it. Used a Groupon.

Google
Love this place. I don't like rolled ice cream but this place was fresh and had great flavors. They even do vegan friendly fruit based roles. They took the time to ask and clean the freezing unit before making the ice cream. Great staff. Will go back

Google
The workers there was very nice, she also did great at rolling the ice cream. i never had rolled ice cream before until found here and i’m so happy i got to go there with my friend and try it for the first time. I got the pretty pink flavor and my friend got the new york style!

I've come here twice during work breaks for some ice cream on hot summer days, and I absolutely love it! First of all, it's really cool seeing the process of how rolled ice cream is made. The workers do it so quickly and effortlessly! Second, they have some really interesting flavors and what I've tried so far tastes fantastic. I've had the Green Monster (matcha and oreo blend), as well as their Honey Lavender flavor. I've already recommended this place to several people I know and I will keep coming back!

Google
Loved the old location. Employee knew what they were doing. Ice-cream was actually creamy and mixed well. They don’t even have the real menu out. Had to ask why my choices seemed off from what I remembered and the employee pulled out a hole different menu. I’m sure this is a way better location but the consistency of great service and good quality rolled ice cream is gone. Such a sad day.

Google
Ice cream has good flavor and worker is contentious and skilled at rolled ice cream. I like that they have ideas of combinations. Toppings do seem limited. Ambiance feels a bit sterile and less inviting. Overpriced but good to splurge occasionally.

It felt like visiting a frozen yogurt place in 2007, before anyone really realized the “self-serve” thing could take off - a bland retail front, dirty floor and ikea furniture dot the location as an exuberant teen welcomes you. It was Sunday at 9pm, and the store was still busy teens enjoying the end of summer, college students hanging out, even a few families were still passing through. I’ve been curious about rolled ice cream for awhile, i got one with peanut butter, chocolate and salt. It was pretty good, if not gimmicky. I’d probably go again. You should try it out!

Google
Delicious ice cream! Me and my boyfriend came for our first time and were thrilled to watch our ice cream be made in front of us! Huge variety of flavors to chose from like hot Cheetos to New York style cheese cake (my boyfriend got the NYC cheese cake kind sooo good!) Not your ordinary ice cream parlor! This is definitely a gem!

Yelp
I would say my only complaint before I get to the good stuff is that this method of ice cream is not super quick. So when it picks up here, you might be waiting for a little while. With that said the place was amazing. I always see these videos online of people rolling up all these different concoctions of ice cream and this definitely did not disappoint. They have a ton of flavors and add, and it brings back the vibe of being a kid and going to cold stone and just being amazed that you can get a custom ice cream. Skip the bubble tea you came here for the roll up ice cream. Some of the other items were as WOW, they weren't bad but they're just not their bread and butter or they're cream and sugar I should say. We got a few different flavors for my younger sons birthday. He was absolutely excited to get some thing that we've all seen online and you know how these kids nowadays and they're dang old onlines hahaha Great staff here they put a lot of effort into it so throw some dollars in that tip jar

Yelp
Ice cream on a hot day. Closest place for some rolled ice cream near the NW district. What's nice is the ice cream toppings aren't additional charge, but it is limited. I ordered the New York style and added coconut shaving and chocolate syrup on top. Can't complain on a hot day.

Yelp
22 below is an ice cream shop that serves rolled ice cream and so much more! Great place to cool off on a hot day. They have an extensive menu, including the yummy filipino halo halo. The place is clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful with suggestions and answering questions.

Yelp
I went here with friends after dinner as it was one of the few rolled ice cream places in the area. When we walked in, we were the only customers despite the place being fairly big and at a typical rush hour. As many other reviews have noted, this place does feel a bit cold and very sterile. Although the employees are nice, the overall ambiance of the store was not cozy at all. There were multiple choices for ice cream flavors and toppings, but my friends and I ended up getting a strawberry one and a matcha one. The process of making the ice cream itself here, isn't very fast (ie. if you were to compare it to other places, such as Coldstone) but it didn't bother us much as we were just hanging out. The ice cream was overall okay. The ice cream was a bit bland and didn't really taste like anything, but the toppings were good. I personally don't think I would come here again--although it's not awful, I just feel like there are many other, better ice cream shops.

Yelp
Rolled ice cream!! You can't go wrong with ice cream. :) I came here with a group after spending time at Mox Boarding House next door and we were the only ones in this shop when we got there. It was pretty fun watching the process of rolling the ice cream. I ordered Tea Heaven (matcha and strawberry) and the flavor combination was just OK. I wouldn't order this one again. My brother ordered the S'morelicious and I wish I had ordered that one! It tasted way better. There were lots of other fun flavors to choose from, so the menu does have a large variety. The shop was clean and a nice place to hang out. The atmosphere felt somewhat cold and not very cozy... There's a parking garage nearby, but is $$$. There's also street parking if you can find it. I like rolled ice cream, but the parking situation just turns me away. :(

Yelp
Open hours on website and door says open at 1pm. Came here with my pregnant wife and arrived 1:22pm, doors locked no one insight on a Thursday. I'd recommend updating hours or hiring employees to be there on time. Will not try again.

Yelp
Ever since I explored this style of making ice cream in Los Angeles I was hoping it comes following me to Portland. Happy to learn it's already here with 22 below. A clean space with a nice selection of ice cream - well - sundae kind of. All the ingredients are rolled in a liquid ice cream base. That means all flavors you have chosen are mixed together to a wonderful almost umami experience of ice cream. And also it's locking cool! Go, go yourself help this small business grow and make sure it stays! Now I only wish she would serve coffee lol.

Yelp
So delicious! Great customer service! Wonderful ambiance! Music taste was elite! Would recommend to anyone in the mood for a quick, tasty, refreshing treat!

Yelp
Rolled ice cream. That sounds ... interesting. I was hesitant at first, but now I've seen the light! I had the rolled rocky road. (And since I wanted to really do it up... they tossed on some chocolate chips and a hint of caramel). Mind blown! Hand rolled ice cream is fun to watch, more fun to throw on toppings... and most fun to eat. I'm looking forward to going back soon and create another sweet treat!

Yelp
New favorite rolled ice cream place!! It was amazing It was very nice and clean, all the customers were nice and patient. Service was good, very friendly people. I loved watching my ice cream get made!!

Yelp
I ordered an ice tea and a shave ice. The ice tea tasted sort of bitter and soapy, and after looking at the bottom of my cup I noticed that there was tea loose in the bottom of the cup... I waited for about 10 mins while they were preparing the shave ice only to learn that the machine was actually broken. Based on talking with the cashier, it sounds like it's been a chronic issue with the shave ice machine, so I kind of wish that they'd told me after just a minute of waiting instead of having to wait so long... They did give me a refund though. This place honestly hasn't felt the same since they left the location on Jefferson... the service and food used to be so good!

Yelp
The boba tea was fine as far as flavor.. the service, however? No thanks. Slow as anything. 15+ min for a damn boba tea? Seriously? Less than 6 customers and 2 staff. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yelp
The form factor is not speedy but you're not paying for speed; you're paying for a show. Ours were delicious; fresh tasting, and the person rolling for us was super nice and accommodating. Kids loved it. Flavors were on point. Location was clean with good seating. Speaking only for the rolled ice cream, it's not going to be a place to take someone with food allergies/sensitivities or a strict diet adherence. Their other offerings might be a better choice in that case. I liked that their lavender-honey tasted like lavender without being soapy. Mango desserts used real mango. This was an excellent treat.

Yelp
The menu look amazing and kids were excited to rolled ice creams for dessert! However, we were so disappointed to find out that they couldn't 'clean' the surface where they spread the ice creams (nut allergies). While I understand that their explanation that it would take a long time for the surface to cool down sufficiently after cleaning and that it could lead to a longer wait times for other customers. In this day and age, I'd expect that food allergies, specially nut allergies would have been taken into account into a business model.

Yelp
When we walked up at 9:45 they were locking the doors, but she saw us and reopened them. They however had ONE vegan flavor even though it's advertised on their website as if it's a big staple of theirs... We couldn't eat it because it has pineapple to which we are allergic. Then we couldn't even have tea with boba because also were out of tapioca boba, only the popping boba (which I don't care for) & finally, a family of 3 walked in after us and they wanted ice cream but left after being told that the ice cream machines had been turned off. Come on.. it's Saturday night in Downtown PDX.

Yelp
Best lavender ice cream in Portland! I love lavender flavored desserts, and after trying every ice cream place that makes a lavender ice cream (including 50 licks), this place is The Best. Ever since I saw the Honey Bee (lavender ice cream + honey) on their menu when they first opened, I ordered it, and it's been the only thing I've ordered since lol. I've even had the Honey Bee delivered, it's that good! The size I'm holding in the photos is the kids size, it's the perfect size for a light meal or big snack.

Yelp
Walked in and was greeted by two rude employees. They seemed like they didn't wanna be there at all they looked so angry and done with everything. Other then that the ice cream was pretty good not anything special that you couldn't get at a store but not bad. Mind you me and my companies are people of color and another group of people walked in but were white and the employees seemed like they got a boat of energy and were way more friendly towards them then us. Would never go again.

Yelp
If you like the taste of Blue Bunny ice cream that's been sitting half finished in the freezer for the last year, this is the place for you. I genuinely wish I had not spent $10 here. I tipped because the employees did nothing wrong and service was quick, but seriously, their are hundreds of better places to get ice cream in the PDX. The McFlurry you can get across the street is half the price, and at least you know the type of bad it is.

Benjamin K.

Yelp
Great service. The worker helped me pick what I should get for my mood and explained the best way to get what I wanted. The taste of the rolled ice cream was so decadent and unique. The atmosphere of the parlor is so calm and relaxing.

Yelp
Their milk tea uses actual tea, not ones made from powder. Rolled ice cream was good too. For being understaffed, they were efficient.

Yelp
one of my favorite ice cream spots!! you can pretty much make whatever flavor you want, store is clean, bubble tea is pretty good too :)

Jake A.

Yelp
This place was so interesting, you see them artfully craft the ice cream in front of you. Delicious food and drink.

Megan V.

Yelp
Takes at least a half an hour to get your order. I've been twice. This last time they had 3 employees and only one was "working". Most of the time they were all hidden from view. The place wasn't busy... just 2 customers including me. Such a bummer cause the concept is cool. The ice cream wasn't rolled it was in what I could best describe as "blobs".

Sam G.

Yelp
The milk tea here was my favorite until they stopped fully cooking their boba, the tapioca pearls have been tough and crumbly as of late.

Elaia S.

Yelp
I love this place! Delicious ice cream, best I've had in a while. Great service and great treats! The taro smoothie with boba is my favorite !! This new location is so nice and fun to hangout in! Also fun to watch them hand craft the ice cream! Will recommend to all my friends.

Diana V.

Yelp
Drove 40 min with kids because they were craving this ice cream. Online it said it opens at 4pm. We got there it was still closed. On the door it also says on Fridays it opens at 4 pm. Waited an hour outside with the kids and left. When I called the place for the 10th time finally someone picked up at 5:10pm, their excuse was that they were "told" to come at 5 pm and had no idea it says on the door that they open at 4 pm.

Kat G.

Yelp
The ice cream was delicious! We got a Matcha Strawberry and a Chocolate one with cookie bits. The swirls were beatiful and it was great. We also got bubble tea. We got a strawberry jasmine iced tea and a taro milk tea. I thought that the strawberry jasmine was going to be fruit tea with no milk, but that wasn't the case. It was okay until we tasted the tea. The taro milk tea was bad and tasted like milky water. The flavoring tasted artificial and powdery. The strawberry jasmine also tasted powdery and the strawberry tasted partly fermented. It tasted like powder and overall was average.

Michael L.

Yelp
The workers were visibly understaffed, and this location does not offer vegan options. My fiancé ordered a mango bubble smoothie, which didn't have any bubbles, and tasted like milk (they had coconut milk but it expired, so she got soy instead) with a small dash of unsweetened mango flavoring. I ended up waiting at least 45 minutes just for a regular sized ice cream, which ended up being pretty good, but not really worth the wait. If you're looking for vegan options or a timely wait, this location is not for you

Your M.

Yelp
takes at least 30 min or more to get ur order, burnt fries, the boba drinks taste off, the workers there seem like they don't even wanna be there and just not welcoming whatsoever. waste of money and time, i recommend going somewhere else.

Alia R.

Yelp
This new location opened a few months ago. Online and at the previous location they have a variety of "dairy free, lactose free, gluten free" options. So when we made the trip this time and none of those options are no longer Available. It was pretty disappointing. Especially when you check the website first before making the drive down town and struggle to park to find out you can't even have it. I guess that's just the frustration of being dairy intolerant. Just wish they'd update the website so more people in my situation don't leave upset. But for the part of my family that could enjoy it, they said it was good but nothing like before. As they were out of a lot of their toppings.

Alex S.

Yelp
I love this place!!! Great service and very yummy treats. I got a matcha strawberry and it was soooo good.
