My wife and Moved to Erie about a year ago and dined here for the first time last night. We had the Parmesan dip, the pork belly the gnocchi pan, your duck in a few amazing desserts. Every single thing that we were served was 10 out of 10 delicious. We don’t get out to eat often So being served a meal like this really means a lot. Kelly Was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal. Got us everything that we needed within seconds and was extremely friendly. We will be back next month without a doubt. Thank you, everyone!!

It was our first visit to 24 Carrot and frankly expectations were high. We arrived a little early for our reservation and expected to have a drink at the bar but we were sat immediately. Service was excellent from beginning to end. From being greeted at the door to water/drink refills to menu explanations. Food was excellent! Not pretty good, excellent. Prices are fair for the total quality of the experience. Putting a credit card on file for a reservation is a first for us but if that’s the way they do it, then we’ll play along. We will definitely be back and recommend anyone interested in having a great meal with great service in a cool spot do the same.

The food is so unique, with flavors I have never even imagined, working together and honestly creating new flavors. Every unique sounding dish has given me a brief moment of thoughtfulness. I had several different dishes that took me some time to think about and after eating and would go back for these flavors that I had to think about at first. Now I hope to go back for the dishes that sounded like odd combinations but had good flavor profiles. The service is very good, and they were very accommodating to my kids. I didnt feel judged for bringing my kids into, what i would consider, a fancy restaurant.

Eager to try more of the cocktails as the unique descriptions are ever intriguing. The farm to table aspect is phenomenal and surprisingly rare in the area. The cost is on the higher side but worth a trip when you can!

Update- 12$ for happy cheeseboard pictured?!!! Are you out of you flipping mind? This place is an absolute joke now. Owners- you should be freaking ashamed. Daughter’s burger was burnt to a crisp. Holy shoot this was expensive for an awful meal. Seriously stay away!!!! Don’t get me wrong- the food is ok. But for brunch today it was all just fine… but for 100$ for 2 adults and a kid? Wild. The pork belly Benedict had almost no pork belly in it. Chicken and waffles were fine. Just really not worth the money and better breakfast next door at Lucille’s

The folks who run this place know what they're doing. The restaurant is spotlessly clean including the restrooms. My date and I had chicken sandwichs which were superb. We also had french fries which we asked be extra crisp and they actually were. Most restaurants we go to just send out the normal fries even when we ask for them to be extra crisp. Service was great and the prices are fine. Maybe a dollar or two more than the run of the mill restaurant but worth it. I totally recommend this restaurant

My experience with this restaurant was amazing. The food was so yummy, and the service 10/10 . The stuff are very friendly. We celebrated my friend’s birthday and they serve a free chocolate mouse with a candle was so nice from them.

Google
Delicious!! Great place to spend our anniversary! We had the halibut and the duck breast, along with a mini bite and vanilla creme brulee for dessert. They also have delicious house-made sodas, would definitely recommend their orange tarragon choice.

Yelp
One of our favorite local restaurants! Always fresh, clean and healthy food served by great wait staff and friendly bartenders! Never a bad meal! Check out their Sunday brunch! Delicious!

Yelp
We ate here for lunch and had high hopes for a delicious new local spot. Unfortunately the mark was missed when it came to the food. The restaurant is cute and well appointed. To start off with the good, my husband got the steak frites with fries and they were amazing! I had the gnocchi which was pretty awful. It was rectangular logs with no real gnocchi shape to them. It looked like potatoes in a stew. They were quite dense as well. The mushrooms were chewy and almost inedible. The portion size for the gnocchi for $28 was quite frankly high way robbery. It was maybe eight bites total. We also ordered the strawberry shortcake which was just ok and not worth $15. There were maybe 2 cut up strawberries on the whole thing. The biscuit was dense. The top part of the biscuit was good. The bottom was dry. The service was acceptable but we didn't feel as attended to as other tables who were told about the specials of the day and offered fresh black pepper, which we weren't privy to.

David E.

Yelp
We've eaten here three times when visiting family in Erie and each meal was scrumptiously different and delicious. The cocktails mixed with their homemade tinctures, bitters, and garnishes are not to be missed, nor is the friendly banter of the bartenders and servers. Definitely go out of your way to eat here, but make sure you make a reservation or be ready for a long wait or your meal at the bar if there's a seat.

Yelp
Very nice place for brunch or dinner. The food is wonderful. Downtown Erie has a few spots to enjoy and this is one of them.

Yelp
Ambiance is wonderful. We were at the farmers market walking along around 5PM on a Friday afternoon. We tried to get seats at 6PM so we can continue to walk around and was told that they can't guarantee seats for three people, so we opted to just grab our table. We sat down, got our drinks, food came out quick, the calamari and sauce was good, The mussels was definitely not fresh, it had an after taste. We've had better ones. It was not bad to the point of us getting sick, but they were definitely not fresh. Now the carrots were AMAZING! if you eat carrots and would like to have a variety, this place prepares them well and I strongly advise that you try it. It appears to have been blanched or boiled and then grilled with their raspberry compote and honey with the right amount of acidity and red pinions. It was just bursting with flavors Will this be a go to place for next time, maybe... it's a good place to try. Three stars for me..

Yelp
This is a charming restaurant. A friend and I had reservations and were seated right away. They have an extensive cocktail list and I enjoyed the drink the server recommended. They brought bread out, but it was pretty bland, so didn't eat much of that. I got the steak and it was really good. The carrot cake was amazing!

Yelp
The ambiance is very pretty for dates or dinner with friends. They have a great cocktail selection and all the ones we had were very nice. Staff is extremely friendly and we felt very comfortable there. My fav dish was the crab cakes and the Kale artichoke dip! Certainly get those, you will NOT regret it! My husband got the duck main and I got their new lamb dish. The duck dish had a good mixture of textures but also a balance on sweet and savory. I have VERY rarely sent a dish back and it was the lamb as not only was it too tough everything was salty with no really break from sweetness as they had feta with olives and drops of sauce that didn't really help cut through the saltiness and hence had to send it back. I took the star out because even though they were nice and said you can have another dish. I got another one after my husbands finished but also they did charge me for that dish. Usually out of courtesy they would take the new dish out. I got the duck confit instead and have to say that was a winner dish too

Yelp
My wife and I went here for a spontaneous date night in Downtown Erie. The restaurant has really good ambiance with the farm and rustic vibe. Food was delicious, staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Pricing also pretty reasonable for the farm to table. Calamari had the right amount of breading and was not over cooked. Super tender, flavorful and fresh. Only thing is that it was kinda salty. The barramundi is also super fresh. Meat was tender and buttery. Skin is crisp and added the perfect texture to the fish. Highly recommend it. Roasted duck was tender and juicy as well. The golden beets, sweet mash potatoes and pistachios along with blueberries that came with the dish added so much depth and flavors. Everything complemented each other very nicely. Absolutely loved this dish. Lastly the mini bites was the perfect amount to end the meal with something sweet. Absolute perfect date spot! I'd give it a 4.5 stars, only because the calamari was a bit salty for my taste. But everything else was delicious. Honestly the best part of the meal was the golden beets that they roast. It complements the duck very nicely.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place!! It's a small swanky fine dine restaurant serving some really good farm to table food! I would come back in a heart beat. I had the grilled duck breast & it was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the gnocci and loved it. It's not terribly expensive for an upscale place- expect to pay 30-40ish per entree & of course a salad, soup, drinks, dessert or an appetizer is going to be more. The service was great and our server did a good job. But here's the bottom line for me- my entree was fantastic, a really really good meal. The best meal I've had in Colorado so far.. If you're in Erie Denver looking for some great food, look no further!! This place is good, highly recommended! Happy eating.

Yelp
What a great little surprise! We had the blackberry spinach salad and Bacon sandwich... very good and filling. Really enjoyed chatting with Manny the bartender.
google avatar

Tamara M.

Yelp
Came for a work dinner and had a fantastic meal. You must have the small plate carrots with the blackberry butter! So delicious wanted to lick the plate. One person ordered the bison short ribs and said they were fork tender and delicious. Second person had the pork loin with Brussel sprouts. The pork was able to be cut with a butter knife. I had the duck breast, which was cooked perfectly medium. The duck does have Calabrian chilis so some heat but not too hot. We had desserts, lavender cheesecake and carrot cake. Carrot cake does have nuts. The restaurant is not big but nice size with a bar too. The dress was causal to dressy causal.

Yelp
Definitely a spot worth checking out. Located in the heart of the downtown area, with plenty of parking and ease of access. The ambience is unmatched. Goo vibes inside and a full bar with friendly staff. the food was not my style. A lot of gravy like items and maybe two too many things on each main entrée. It was good for sure, but the flavor of the food all meshed together because there were so many veggies and proteins and sauces all on one plate. I feel like it didn't really mater what we ordered, i was good, but kind of all tasted the same. We got a fish dish, a chicken dish, and a veggie dish. The cauliflower soup was delicious. Not my style, but definitely could be yours.

Yelp
Brunch was really tasty! I liked everything I tried, from beignets to shrimp and grits. The veggies and the peppadew jam really made the shrimp and grits dish (in addition to perfectly grilled shrimp of course)! The rice grits were so good -- it gives the dish a congee-like element that is creamy and comforting to eat. My partner liked his steak and eggs and gave rave reviews to the béarnaise sauce. Service was friendly and our coffees and waters stayed full. Weeks later, I'm still thinking about this meal. If I lived in Erie, I would be here all the time!
google avatar

Yelp
When I say you need to bypass filet, duck, and salmon for the EVERLOVING Ratatouille Gnocchi--y'all. that sh*t was not messing around. Blown away, best meal I've ever had in CO
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Stopped in here for the first time for lunch with a friend. Excellent meal, relaxed but high-end feeling atmosphere and very conducive for conversation. I had the special of the day, a shrimp po'boy, lots of succulent shrimp and well seasoned remoulade on a tasty soft bun. Really good! My companion had the brisket sandwich, looked good and she liked the flavors. Excellent place to pause for lunch if you're in the north metro area and worth a bit of an extra drive if Erie isn't on your direct path.

Yelp
Excellent food, service and ambiance! We did brunch and will be back soon. Highly recommend making reservations!

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner on Thursday evening with my wife while in town visiting. Really cute little spot, we did not have reservations and thankfully they were not very busy so we got right in around 5:15. The staff was very friendly and our waiter did an excellent job. They really have a great selection of gluten free and can accommodate substitutions as needed quite liberally. We shared the asparagus starter which was amazing! It got me excited for the main course. My wife had the roasted carrot salad with chicken added and enjoyed that immensely and I really enjoyed the Halibut that was on special that night. It really is hard to go wrong with some delicious Halibut so there's that, but the accompaniments really did hit the spot. I was doing the happy dance!
google avatar

Thomas W.

Yelp
Wanted to try something new- this was a mistake. The biscuits and gravy were bland as heck and the pork omelette tasted entirely of asparagus; no pork, cheese, or egg could be tasted. The service was sub par, the server clearly didn't want to be there. They tack on an additional 4% kitchen appreciation fee, and I quote the menu, to "[provide] them a livable wage". Why not just pay them more, the food prices are certainly high enough! I would not recommend this place to anyone.
google avatar

Annie B.

Yelp
The food and cocktail selections are bound to please even the most finicky of pallets. Dessert you say? Please do! I'd say everything is amazing, even the service, but make sure you have a reservation for if you appear sans one, be prepared to be given side eye by the hostess for this most offensive faux paux.

Yelp
This would have been a solid 3.5 star establishment, however my table came down with HORRIBLE food poisoning after eating here. I attempted to contact the restaurant via email about the situation, but never received a reply. Not even one apologizing or one attempting to look into a situation. I never asked for a handout or a refund. The entire table shared the Kale Parmesan Dip and we all had awful food poisoning the following early morning. Two of the party were laid up all day in bed or the couch. The three of us went over everything we ate the past 24 hours and the common factor was the dip. We enjoyed the dip until it wrecked havoc the next day. Ambiance is warm, but has the familiar farm to table aesthetic. The overenthusiastic waiter offered his opinion about everything we ordered from wine, beer, apps, and entrees. As Mr. Carson said on Downton Abbey, "you are here to work not to offer your opinion on the catering". Solid wine list.. Affirmed not only by the waiter, but by me, someone who drinks a variety of wine on a frequent basis. The duck breast, I had to ask for medium rare, after it was suggested that the cook wanted to overcook it at medium. It was delicious, but it was unfortunate it was drowned in all of the accompaniments. They too were very good, but far too much on the plate.
google avatar

Mickele B.

Yelp
I met a companion here for brunch early on a Sunday morning. I ordered green tea and the waiter said they had 2 kinds of tea. He mentioned English Breakfast and I told him that was black. He went to find out more and came back with a list of 6. I ordered the green tea which was made in Boulder and absolutely delightful. The restaurant is located in the adorable downtown area of Erie, Colorado. There was ample street parking at 9 am on Sunday morning. It is a very cold day though so no telling what the circumstances would be under different conditions. I ordered the special frittata. The mushrooms were very tough, didn't work with the potential delicate nature of a frittata. The frittata itself was crusty and rubbery, overcooked at the edges.

Yelp
Beautiful holiday dinner. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly. Excellent service. This is one of our favorite places to eat.

Yelp
Updated Review: It's more than a gem, it's a treasure! As I've previously stated, 24 Carrot Bistro gives the best dining experience from start to finish in the Weld/Boulder County area. It'd been a few months since we've had it but nothing changed. The staff was friendlier than ever - shout out to Cass. She was a superstar of a waitress with a vibrant and genuine personality. I would have followed her into battle after her recommendation of the Pork Chop and NY Strip Steak special. Both were remarkable... remarkably full of flavor... remarkably cooked... remarkably presented... remarkably eaten from the plate, lol. And, I'm not sure what bartender was on duty... but I'm pretty sure my husband would have followed them into battle! He and I are always so impressed with their cocktail list. They do a really neat thing - on top of having a list of special curated cocktails - they offer old school historical and traditional cocktails that may have been forgotten about. We love going to this list and seeing what people in the 1920s or 1940s used to drink, and we have yet to have a cocktail we did not enjoy there! In conclusion, we are never disappointed with this place and will take any excuse to eat here... a birthday, a new job celebration, an anniversary, or just a "Hey, it's Tuesday. We should treat ourselves to 24 Carrot!"
google avatar

Yelp
Everything about our meal at 24 Carrot Bistro was great. We had a mussel in curry appetizer (delicious), carrot small plate (very flavorful), and the duck breast and cod special entrees which were both great.
google avatar

Shareen R.

Yelp
The food and service was great! I would definitely come back! Great place for a date night.

Ashley A.

Yelp
My partner and I have come to 24 Carrot a couple times and it's always been great. We've gone for both brunch and lunch and both times didn't disappoint. Cocktails are incredible and the food is as well. All of the staff is amazing and I love that they source food locally. This is definitely going to be a regular spot.

Kathleen F.

Yelp
Great food and service. Certainly a special treat, but then again it's always a good time for a great meal. Our waitress Kelly was awesome. She knew the menu well and instantly understood our likes. We all loved our dinner. Two had the duck and ate it to the bone. I had the hangar steak with the most decadent potatoes I've ever had. We also treated ourselves to desserts. The carat carrot cake and chocolate one. Again what made it so special was Kelly, and friends.

John G.

Yelp
The best place to eat in Weld County in my opinion. The food is fantastic. The service is top notch and the staff are friendly and helpful. We have never had a bowl of soup that was not the best. Once the soup was beet and I do not like beets, but the server brought out a taste to show how good it really was. We had the soup.
google avatar

Jenna E.

Yelp
Loved this place. It was a little expensive but you get what you pay for! Service was very slow so glad I wasn't in a rush or anything.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome place w an awesome menu. Servers are on it. Highly recommend if you are looking for something different in Boulder county.

Yelp
This is a lovely restaurant. The food is delicious. I had gnocchi with autumn vegetables, burrata and balsamic vinegar. It was fabulous and the flavors were well balanced. My husband had salmon, and my daughter had a slider and fries. She also had a black tea and peach soda which was very tasty. My other child had a cherry limeade and macaroni and cheese, also excellent. The server was attentive and very friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend it for a special occasion.
google avatar

Sanjoy K.

Yelp
Visited the Bistro yesterday (5/17) for the first time. Excellent food, drinks and dessert. Had daily specials: Monk Fist from North Carolina. The service was amazing. They truly value their guests. I totally recommend the restaurant for all occasions or just a casual night out.

Yelp
Highly recommend this off the beaten path restaurant. Great food and service! House made desserts are excellent. Chocolate Mouse and Carrot Cake.

Yelp
Holy Smokes! Ok that's from my last bourbon cocktail with the bacon washed bourbon... what the heck is that? Crazy good, that's what it is. Simply put, I don't know that a meal can get much better. Every time we go we gotta get the Duck Confit cause it's just that damn good. It's nuts, just eat it. Roasted carrot salad, cauliflower, apple, beet soup ( you read that right ) and the scallop special. Wow, just wow. Food is bout as good as you can get anywhere. You're welcome! Gosh it was good.
google avatar

Yelp
In case you only read the beginnings of reviews, 24 Carrot Bistro is the best overall restaurant experience I've had. Simply put, the interior is clean and inviting. The food and service are exceptional. The servings are perfectly proportioned and well plated. 24 Carrot is not inexpensive but in terms of the quality and experience it is a great value. OK some details. We ordered the: ARUGULA & MANCHEGO salad, PEI Muscles, SEARED SEA SCALLOPS, HUDSON VALLEY DUCK BREAST, Carrot Cake, two martinis, and a Stem Cider. That was too much food. We could have ordered half that amount and been full. But it was my birthday, and we sort of went for it. Of that total order the real stars were the PEI Muscles, Seared Sea Scallops, and the martini. These were simply some of the best foods I have ever experienced. All of the dishes were outstanding. But these three were in a different world. All the meals were perfectly balanced in terms of seasoning and flavors. Nothing was noticeably too salty although we were a bit thirsty afterwards. The plating was beautiful, and everything came out hot and was timed well. One thing to note (for us old-ish folks) is that the restaurant was not noisy. Nearly everywhere we go out to eat these days has a very uncomfortable noise level making it hard to communicate. For me this noise destroys the joy of a restaurant experience. 24 Carrot Bistro was not like this. It did have a background noise level, but we were able to communicate across the table easily. The interior and ambience were fantastic. As mentioned, this isn't a cheap restaurant. This meal was about $125 per person with a generous tip. However, we ordered more food than we really needed. I would think you could eat there easily for $50 - $100 per person with drinks. And I highly recommend that you check this place out.

Julie P.

Yelp
Do not eat at this restaurant if you have any food allergies. They asked us if there were any allergies and were told what my son's allergies are. But, we ended up spending the rest of our evening in the ER because of something they served him. When I brought up that he was having an allergic reaction they were conciliatory but more defensive than anything. The waiter told me that the kitchen is small and that they can't completely control cross contamination. Maybe they should warn people of that when they sit down. Honestly he's never had a reaction from eating at a restaurant before. And this was not a mild cross contamination. We've never had to go to the hospital for his allergies in the 18 years he's had food allergies. They clearly do not understand the seriousness of food allergies based on what happened and by the that way they reacted to it.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Went for a birthday dinner and it didn't disappoint at all! I loved my cocktail, my fiancé liked his. Mine was "WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE SNAKES?" Very refreshing, with a hint of sweetness. Sadly, can't remember my fiancés cocktail but I thought it was SO GOOD - very sweet! I got the current soup which was a garlic soup - OMG!!! Soooooo good! My entree was the HUDSON VALLEY DUCK BREAST. I ate it all!!!! Sooooo good! The banana purée was kinda my fav part - wish it had more! My fiancé got the WILD ALASKAN HALIBUT. He thought it was too salty and I agree. I think if it wasn't so salty it would have been amazing! Nice and flakey, a good portion but again too salty. To top it off, since it was my bday, they gave me a small biscuit dessert which was so delightful - both enjoyed! We will be back!!!!
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
The quality of the food and service is good, but the dishes they prepare aren't exactly my type of food. Im definitely in the minority, because everyone I know likes it. I'm just more a meat/potatoes, seafood kind of guy.... so I like Piripi's acoss the street better.

Yelp
Keep in mind that entrees here are $40+. We live in Erie and had been here before with good experiences; however, tonight we came for dinner and the experience was absolutely awful. We waited over 25 minutes to even see our server and only saw him after one of us went inside to find him. We ordered our first (and what would end up being our only) round of drinks and food when he came by, which is when he apologized for the wait and guaranteed that our drinks would be out asap as an apology. We then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes to even get those. It took ANOTHER 30 minutes to get our food. I'm now writing this as my drink has been empty since we got our food, with no checking in from our server. Not a great experience for a more casual restaurant, but absolutely unacceptable for one charging as much as 24 Carrot is per entree. With all due respect, either seat tables up to your staffing capacity and deal with some empty tables, or hire more staff. If we'd been told the wait was a few hours, we would have gone somewhere else and likely come back to this place with fond experiences still fresh in our minds. However, since they sat more than they could serve and utterly failed to maintain even a passable service experience, we will never be back and will never recommend again.

Fred A.

Yelp
Very good food, satisfactory service, small plates, nice ambiance, but pricey. Will go back.

Yelp
Are you kidding me?!?!? Amazing everything . All my plates were licked clean.....BEFORE I realized that it didn't look that appetizing for this review. Oh well, you'll have to try this fantastic restaurant for yourselves.

Yelp
Had a reservation today for their tiki brunch... it did not disappoint. The drinks were strong, service impeccable, food outstanding! My husband got the chicken and waffle benedict and the vanilla waffle was out of this world. My friend and I got the regular Benedict and there was nothing regular about it, best sweet potato cake I have ever eaten and the pesto hollandaise was delightful!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best local bistros in Weld or Boulder County. Best people and the best bar anywhere

Yelp
Just a great restaurant!!! Food and service were amazing! I will be back!!! I highly recommend the house burger!!!

Yelp
The back patio was very small. However, the inside of the restaurant is very nice. The service was great. The food was awesome.

Yelp
This place is a gem in old town Erie. My husband and I often ride our bikes here for a fantastic Sunday brunch. The menu is unique, outstanding and the specials are amazing. It is a little "spendy" however they deliver what you expect, and more, from the price.

Madeline M.

Yelp
Food is awesome, fair prices, friendly neighborhood vibe and good service. Try a non alcoholic cocktail. So yummy.
