Google
I recommend this location! Everyone is super friendly and just focused on what they are there to do. There is enough space and equipment to workout without having to wait around and the facilities are clean and well kept. Shout out to the staff who are also professional, courteous and helpful anytime I have had a question. Special shout out to Avalon for their customer service and professionalism greeting everyone, which makes a difference! As far as location Northgate is a dynamic place with enough to do and explore. I forgot to add there’s also a pool at this location which I really appreciate!

Google
Nice club with lots of equipment: basketball gym, free weights, machines & Group X room, pool, hot tub, sauna & steam room . Several classes throughout the day. Janitorial service keeps the place clean. Downsides I have found are: equipment break downs take a long time to repair. Also, many sit on equipment looking at their cell phones. It’s annoying to have to wait so long to use a piece of sit down equipment. 24 hour has a no loitering on equipment policy, but it’s not enforced. Staff is always friendly. If you can get a good deal on a membership, it’s definitely worth joining.

I love this location! Staff members at the front desk are always friendly & welcoming. And the classes offered are absolutely amazing! Particularly Zumba and Body Pump- Harry and Andri are incredible instructors, true gems. It would be great if there were more classes offered as they tend to be full. Another suggestion is better cooling systems as it does get hot/stuffy at times. Otherwise, amazing!

Google
Okay, gym. I’ve been a member for generations and have used almost all their locations during their heyday in different states. However, since the pandemic, they’ve declined significantly, leading to the closure of numerous other locations. Consequently, they’re no longer worth the membership fee. Just like your typical commercial gyms, they’ve become extremely crowded here. Due to age and some joint problems related to age, I no longer play basketball. I did uuse the pool from time to time. Additionally, the days of having towels are long gone. They were removed years ago, but I was under the impression that since they’ve scaled down, means more money again for the corporate folks at the top. Perhaps they’ll bring them back, but unfortunately, that’s not the case. It was a great run while it lasted.

I’ve had a 24 Hour Fitness membership for a long time, and discovered years ago that they offer several fun and effective training classes. One of the classes we really enjoy is BodyPump. We moved to the Lynnwood gym when our regular gym closed during COVID. We discovered one of the BodyPump instructors, Allison, is amazing! We go to as many of her classes as we can. She also teaches at the Northgate gym, so we started taking her classes there also. Although we never had any interest in taking a cycling class before, Allison teaches both Cycle24 and RPM classes at Lynnwood, so we started taking those classes too. Allison works us hard, but we really enjoy the workouts and feel great when we finish. We’ve made good friends in classes at both Lynnwood and Northgate locations. Her classes are EXTREMELY popular, so make sure you sign up early to get a spot. I’m sure you are going to love her classes too.

Google
I love this club! So thankful that it’s here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There’s everything you need here for great workouts and class instructors are awesome. I love the Yoga, Body Pump and Spin Cyle classes. (Just wish there were more classes). Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steamroom are great. Thanks for keeping me healthy and in shape!

Google
The entire experience at 24HR Fitness has been fantastic. Equipment is well maintained and clean. I started training with Kyler 4 weeks ago and it's been a great experience. He created a challenging (in the best way possible) workout plan for me and I am seeing the results each week. I'm so thankful for this gym and for Kyler!

Google
Only wanted to swim laps. One person was just floating in the lane; I swam into them three times. There are no flags above for doing backstroke and knowing where the end of pool is. The floor in the locker room was very slick. As I got out of pool there were three boys throwing each other in the pool while someone was swimming laps

Yelp
Needs AIR CONDITIONING so badly :( I like the gym because it's cheaper, good mix of people, has a sauna, but I'm considering leaving. It's too hot to work out in there. In the spring and summer the gym is hotter than the outdoors.

Yelp
Was on a good streak of actually opening on time . But looks like the beginning of the same old " I will open whenever I want". Another morning of not being open at 5am . Anytime fitness is opening nearby and will definitely be switching over

Yelp
Oh my god this place is awful!! The women's locker room was revolting; giant clumps of hair all over the shower area, trash everywhere, sticky lord knows what on the bench I almost sat on. Half of the equipment in the aerobics area is broken or only partly works. I wish I hadn't signed up and will be canceling my membership immediately.

C. E.

Yelp
This place has gone downhill over the years. It's dirty with lots of broken equipment. Worst of all is the lack of air movement. It is stiflingly hot and stuffy. Can't be healthy, especially with the lack of cleaning.

Daniel C.

Yelp
Beware of this creepy dude. I'm not sure if he's a worker or not, but as I was coming out of my car in the garage parking lot, I saw this guy peeping through my window for no reason. As I was coming out of my car, I can clearly see him looking away and pretending he's doing something else. Really creepy and unusual experience.

Yelp
If you plan to use this gym, bring earplugs. The elliptical machine side is acoustically vulnerable to the adjacent weight lifting side, which is often heavily populated with "bros" who love to drop 200- and 300-pound barbells with full force onto the floor, over and over. There's no acoustic design in this place and the sound is unbearable.
google avatar

Tyler K.

Yelp
Nice gym. I went in the heat of summer and there was no air conditioning so it was brutally hot.

Sam H.

Yelp
Be careful about predatory business practices, particularly in sales and memberships. Have witnessed this branch take advantage of seniors on a fixed income, who have cognitive functional decline and visual impairment by signing them up for pricey personal training and upselling membership levels via contracts and subscriptions that the seniors didn't have a strong understanding of. The appeal process for even small amounts of refunds sends us to their massive legal team, instead of anyone from the branch talking to us about a small refund. Just a strong reminder that they are an enormous national chain, and that they aren't really here to look out for their community. Sign up for a small business gym instead.
google avatar

Thomas L.

Yelp
Not a bad gym. But they need to get some air movement in there. No AC, no open windows. Not hot outside but 85 inside and 100 humidity.
google avatar

Brett F.

Yelp
Great equipment, nice staff. Locker rooms horrendous. Moldy tiles, broken shower heads, no soap in dispensers around closing, weird amounts of clumps of hair, I wonder what the health dept would say.

Eric L.

Yelp
PLEASE START OPENING FOR 24 HOURS. It's literally in the name guys. I just need a gym to go to after I get off late and you want me to drive to Lynnwood? that's messed up. it would be great if u could open for 24 :)

Yelp
I would give 0 stars if I could. 24 hour Fitness Northgate is absolutely horrible as they treat their clients terribly. A front desk clerk treated me extremely rudely on 1/27 and I spoke to the general manager Matty Dow. Yesterday, Feb 10, the same closing clerk came to yell at us at the woman's locker room at 11 pm. I told him I am getting out. He said you are the one who is always late. I am going to tell my manager to have you banned. f you do not get out in 2 mins, I am going to call the police because you are trespassing. There are other women in the locker room at that time. When I was getting out of the locker room, I saw another woman at the other side of the locker room and she still needs to put her pants on. She said this clerk is really out of the line. We already told him we are getting out, but he threatened us. When I called the general manager Mattly Dow today, she thinks the clerk is absolutely right. She refused to apologize for anything. The general manager should never be given this position. She does not even know 24 hr fitness staff is not suppose the harass clients like the clerk did. The general manager Matty Dow never returned my calls last week. On three separate days, I left her three messages and she never called me back. On the fourth time, she cut me off at 22 minutes and told me we had to wrap up. The problem with the clear further deteriorated yesterday. So I called today and I got the general manager. Again she refused to apologize for anything. So I ask her to tell the district manager to call me. After we hanged up. I remembered I did not give her phone number. So I called again, she said I do not want to talk to you anymore. I said I just want to give you my phone number twice. She did not respond. She already hang up. This woman should not be the general manager. She does not understand what her job includes. Do not recommend 24 hr fitness Northgate. Their staff from the general manager to the front desk clerk all treat clients terribly. I guess all they want to do is to get you to sign up to get your money and after that they get you banned so they will never see you again after they get your money. If you are looking for a gym, avoid Northgate 24 hr fitness like plague. There is a yelp review from a woman saying she paid for a one year membership at Northgate 24 hr fitness, but it turned out the customer service is very bad but she cannot get her one year membership refunded. If you have a similar experience and want to share your experience with me, please click on my icon and then click on "message" to send me a message.

Yelp
Why isn't there an option for no stars because that's what this gym deserves, The customer service is remarkably poor. I've been a member of this gym since it was around the corner and was a 24 hour express. It has turned into a body/money making factory with no regard for how to treat customers and the equipment is old! The staff, up to the managers, just don't care. I regularly use the large, class space for my workouts as do others. The space is now regularly used by groups of young adults to practice dance routines. They blast their music which is disturbing to everyone else in the room and take over the space. I asked at the front desk if it's a "rule" to wear headphones when listening to one's own music at the gym or just a "common courtesy" and I was told the latter. I asked then how they would resolve the issue of people not being courteous in that space when groups are listening to music, and the response was a blank look and "oh, well, there's nothing we can do." I said then I'll just listen to my music in that space without my headphones bc I don't find my headphones to be terribly comfortable and they said I couldn't do that. Another time I asked someone at the front desk to come to the room and ask the group to turn down their music. I had done this myself before and these young adults could be very rude (although other times were polite) hence I asked an employee to do it. There were 3 people sitting around at the front desk chatting away with each other and when I asked someone to ask the group to go turn down their music, I started getting grilled with questions about the situation. She then suggested I ask them myself. Eventually I got her to move her body and walk to the space and ask the kids to turn their music down. I called to speak to a manager the following day about this situation and that the machines are often not working. He was very up front with me. He said that corporate did not care about that particular site and they weren't going to put any money into it. Clearly that lack of interest trickles down to the employees. The other day I was working out and some guy was dropping his heavy weights on the ground over and over again! I went to the front desk and asked for a manager. She was helping someone else with their account so I waited. I was standing in front of her and she clearly knew I was waiting for her. She was taking a while yet not once looked up to say-this may be a while, can you come back in # minutes. Nope, she just ignored me. Finally I asked her if she could give me a guesstimate of how much longer she might be and she said, very rudely, she didn't know because she was working on a "complicated" enrollment process for someone. She didn't know? As a manager she couldn't make an educated guess?!?!? There are so many more examples of terrible customer service over the years but I'm not using up anymore of my precious time to type it all out. I still go there because I'm "grandfathered" in at an old rate, which is still much more expensive than other gyms nearby, I've been a member for such a long time, and it's really convenient to my home. Please, if you are looking to join a gym, avoid this one! Planet Fitness and LA Fitness are not too far away. Seriously, don't waste your hard-earned money on this place!

Yelp
I'm a senior and use 24 hour fitness jacuzzi to ease the pain I have in my back from a bad back surgery. However the the jacuzzi at the Northgate 24 hour fitness in the last 5 months is under constant repair, at times out of order for a month at a time. Since April I would say it's been down for repairs at less 2.5 months.

Kathleen Z.

Yelp
The air conditioning has been broken for a year. The cardio room is 76 degrees. You will sweat from the heat. I will find another gym.

Yelp
Love coming here and the fact that they actually read reviews from their customers. I tried out the gym for a day before purchasing and basically was disappointed how they didn't refill the cleaner bottles or paper towels. The next time I returned, everything was filled as has been since I joined the gym. I like how there's 6 squat racks so you don't have to wait that long before one opens up. They also have free weights, a bunch of machines, a pool, and a separate room in the back where you can do yoga or ab workouts. Lots of lockers to put your stuff too. They make checking into their gym very quick and easy. There's parking in the building - 2nd floor has extra spots if the first floor parking is full. They have a membership which allows you to have 2 buddy passes so basically you can bring 2 ppl with you for free every time you go to the gym

Joe D.

Yelp
this gym is very dirty. They really need to do a better job in maintaining a safe and healthy gym with cleaning toilets, bathrooms, equipments, etc. i gave them my comments and i will change to another gym if they don't valuevcustomers' opinions.

Yelp
Great gym and employees. I always have a good workout. The yoga classes are fun. The price is fair.

Yelp
I'm not sure what it is about Seattle but the customer service is the worst I've ever seen in my entire life. I was experiencing issues with my check in due to a mistake a sales rep made in Los Angeles. Greg, and some of the other representatives have asked me about it and I was able to elaborate and explain what occurred and they were amazing dealing with it...except one. Laura or Lauren, I am not sure was rude, disrespectful, continued to cut me off as I was talking and was incredibly assuming. The issue had yet been resolved and she was at the front desk again. She had her back to the front desk but saw me walk ins no refused to say anything even as she rang me up for my purchase and didn't even look me in the eye. I then came back, and got a water bottle to find her talking about my account to the other reps and I decided to address her poor customer service right there with the manager present. She again talked over me, interrupted, and I had to keep telling her to stop talking over me and she didn't not and raised her voice and was super condescending. This is an embarrassment as a prior employee of 24 Hour Fitness and it's brand. I hope management and corporate see this and address it with immediacy. If my money isn't valuable enough to be treated like a human being, then I can take it somewhere else. I do want to shoutout Greg and the Fitness Manager who were absolutely amazing throughout this experience and VERY helpful. I would do another review just for them but this employee needs to see the severity of this situation.

Yelp
I'm thankful 24 reopened - MOST staff/members adhere to masking up. BUT this dude in the photo below, consistently doesn't wear a mask and staff do NOT say anything - shame, on you!! There are senior/immunocomprised members and you should not be exempt from following the rules. smh.

Derek C.

Yelp
Really love their body pump class. But they only have one class during the work week that someone with a job could go to. It's always super packed, which makes sense because it's a great class. It really blows my mind that they can't add more classes after 5pm on the weekdays. If they did, this club would be an easy 4 or 5 stars.

Sarah M.

Yelp
A decent gym and I've been a member for years. That said, some areas for improvement: -Bathrooms (esp the single person one and the shower area) usually have some trash and hair on the floor -people drag their gym bags around cluttering the gym floor area and setting up like they live at a certain bench or machine -I wish there was a "don't have social phone calls" rule. Too many people yammering away, not drowned out by my own head phones -limited TV channels -A lot of the "temporary" lockers seem to be permanently locked. I asked, and was told that they are checked nightly, but clearly this is not the case. -Probably, at least once every two months, the gym does not open on time. You can wait an hour and nobody has shown up....?
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
They really need to enforce mask wearing. They are not chin masks nor are they meant just for the mouth. Many open violations and the staff says nothing. They could also clean out the gross crap that people leave in lockers a few times per week: some junk is in the same locker for months. Otherwise, a good gym
google avatar

Yelp
Update (1/2023) I really want to like the Northgate 24 but multiple broken exercise machines have been sitting uselessly on the floor for almost a year. Come on guys!!!
google avatar

Lucas R.

Yelp
Not open 24 hours, yes you red that right a business that prides itself on being open 24 hours a day is in fact closed 7 hours a day and sometimes this particular location can't even bother to open up on time. On more then one occasion after waiting around at 5 in the morning for half an hour for someone to show up to open the doors I finally got fed up and drove to another location which to no surprise is also not open 24 hours. Seriously offer what you advertise in your name!
google avatar

Tony F.

Yelp
Not 24hours and it's always packed. I used to go early morning about 7am but since my schedule changed at work it's just not worth going anymore. If you don't have a job or work nights it's ok in the mornings. Afternoon and on it sucks, prepare for combat lifting.

Yelp
Gym is very well equipped and is around $45-55 / month. I like to take classes and lift free weights, and it has all of that and more. I tried out a 3-day pass and enjoyed the gym overall. However, it is dirty. There was old grimy dust and dirt all over the eliptacles. The place needs regular deep cleaning. It kind of grossed me out.

Andrew L.

Yelp
Current member at the Northgate location (yearly membership purchased in Jan 2022). I had a friend who was considering switching gyms when he moves to Seattle next month. Popped in for the free pass as advertised on the website and he was told needed to wait for a manager. He waited for 45min only to be told they wouldn't honor the pass because his ID has his old address and he needs to bring in his lease as proof he is moving. Gym was closing in 1 hour and we were not about to track down his lease for this. Super rude about it too and not understanding at all. I am a member to two gyms, so we had to go to planet fitness instead. Also dirtier than other gyms I've been a member of , feels like no one is cleaning this place ever. I will say the sauna is good, so tacking on a star for that. Front desk staff are cool, but the sales staff is lacking in customer service and needs to be trained on how to deal with customers, especially the bloated blonde dude with the acne.

Yelp
Great Workout Option For Me In Mom's Hood SITREP It's nice to know that I can now get my workout routine done - even when away from Sacramento while visiting mom in Seattle - by hitting the modernized 24 Hour Fitness (24) in her neighborhood. THE SETUP It was kinda funny, being able to walk right up to the door and the front counter, use the keypad to put in my phone number (my user name), let the machine scan my pointer finger, and upon turning green I could just walk into the gym without having talked to anybody. I didn't have to talk to anybody, because I didn't need to in order to get a "visitor's pass", to get work out via appointment, etc. etc. It was like being at my home gym. MACHINE-TO-MACHINE What was nice to see is that every machine I use at my Sacramento gym was available for me to use here, so I come here confident I will get the full workout here that I always accomplish at home. NO DOUCHBAGS In stark contrast to my home gym, I didn't run into any douchebags here hogging 2nd machines while working on another one! People also evidenced greater courtesy about not monopolizing a machine while on a smartphone. PROPS One realm where this gym excels over my home gym is in the shower area: great number, larger shower stalls with small bench to keep your things on, obscured glass doors vs. plastic curtain - I would love to bring this back to Sacramento. THE LOWDOWN A great place to work out!

Yelp
I am in seattle multiple days a month for work, but I live on the east side of the state. I signed up for a guest pass to visit this gym with a friend who is local to the green lake area. I walked in for the first time and was immediately refused entry by the front desk associate because my ID isn't within 10 miles of the gym location. The kid was disrespectful and unprofessional. He said it would be 25 dollars to workout for the day. Absolutely ridiculous policy, and handled poorly by the employee. Do not recommend this location if you are looking to join a gym in the area.

Grace D.

Yelp
*update* Gym had a total change in staff and everyone is very friendly and kind. Good customer service.

A J.

Yelp
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, solid equipment, fair price. Cons: so many gym bros which would be fine except that the chin masking is ridiculous and little to nothing being done about it. They also just chill on the equipment on their phones and take selfies. Some even set up tripods for their instas. Could also be much cleaner. Smelly bathrooms and literal dust bunnies around the machines.
google avatar

Sasha A.

Yelp
UPDATE 10/31/20 An employee called out again. I waited 30 minutes and then left. They need a better policy when there's a now-show (maybe have the manager be on-call?) Bad enough this club no longer operates 24 hours or that they cut hours again on us...the least they can do is extend paying members the courtesy of ensuring coverage so that we're not at the mercy of just one employee.
google avatar

Stacy C.

Yelp
So far so good! It's only been a week but I really love it. People are nice and friendly. I don't feel like people are judging my blobby body so that's cool! Seems clean but I don't use the showers or anything. The yoga class is rad. I go at 5am or Saturday to work out and never busy in my opinion. I was hesitant to not support a local more community gym but 24 hour is great for the price. I pay 30 bucks and yes I saw very very clearly there's a random intiation fee I have to pay in July. it's VERY clear haha.

Seth Y.

Yelp
The staff here is so nice and the rate is very good. The front desk will always welcome you in and are helpful -- something which I have found is unique for Seattle gyms.

Yelp
So this gym started out alright, average gym environment. Depending on the hours, 10 or 11am - 8pm it's pretty crowded, but tolerable most of the time. I used to go at 430am until 7am or middle of the night when I couldn't sleep, 11pm or 12am - 2 or 3am. Those were my favorite times to go. The locker rooms where always messy and gross, especially if you forgot your sandals. Honestly this was the worst thing about the gym. It seems like they never had anyone clean the locker room area or clean out the showers and it's surprising that grown men would leave what they would leave in public showers. There should definitely be an attendant who's job it is to tend to the locker room and showers. Also, they could monitor the sauna too with people with gym shoes on since there are a dozen signs throughout the facilities saying not to wear them in there... But most of the people in their have their street/ gym shoes on. More inconsiderate grownups who don't want to follow rules... Anyway... Equipment was good, yoga class was awesome, shout out to Morgan! Never had a trainer. Spa area was cool accept people in street clothes and shoes in the stream room and sauna bringing in all kinds of nasty stuff in on their shoes with people in there possibly bare foot. But things started to go south, this summer they decided to discontinue towel service... Under the guise of "going green" and they were asking us to chip in by bringing our own towels. They said towel service was going to last until some date in June or July, about a month out. About a week after that announcement they had signs up saying that they decided to discontinue the towel service early and would no longer offer towel service, effective immediately. That was pretty lame. Then came the business hours change. This along with the towels I don't understand how you can be called 24/HR Fitness. It really doesn't make sense. Anytime I was there in the middle of the night, there were always at least 20 people there so to screw those people out of their 24 hr access is ridiculous saying that their core business took place between 4am and 12am. SInce you're only open 18 hours now, you're going to change your name, right and drop the price right? Clowns. I'm out.
google avatar

Vasyliy M.

Yelp
They took away towel service. Good job This truly is the reason why I am leaving this gym. If I wanted to not have towels in my gym I'll go to a cheaper one. Bye

Yelp
Hello and welcome to me TEDTalk on 24 Hour Fitness locations in the Greater Seattle Area. I have traveled near and far...scoping out the best 24 Hour Fitness Commercial Location and BINGO, we have a winner. I want to preface this by saying this is from a Power Lifter's perspective. I don't give a flying fuck about fees, sign up process, group fitness class etc. Look, I get it but maybe you don't. This is a GIANT national commercial gym chain. One positive or negative yelp review won't make or break them but I hope this will help you decide between this one or LA Fitness or a jenky AnyTime Fitness type. I laugh when I see Karen complaining to the manager in these yelp reviews - it's kind of like the person who complains about their order being wrong at McDonald's on here. They'll always have clientele because they are EVERYWHERE. I guarantee you there's going to be a 24 location within a 5 mile, 15 minute radius from your stomping grounds (i.e. work, school, home). As aforementioned, I have dabbled in many Western Washington locations. Bellevue, Bothell, Downtown, Issaquah, Redmond, Renton...North Gate is by far my favorite. Here's why: - Their front desk is so friendly - Some trainers actually have physiques that can attest to their careers (Bothell literally have the softest-bodied trainers, why would I EVER pay them to help me???) - Patrons are awesome for the most part - I LOVE the power racks, there's serious lifters here a lot of the time and that's motivating to me - Many lifters have Barbell Brigade hoodies and I feel like a community lol - They let you wear socks\ - They don't yell at you using chalk - Parking is easy and free - Really friendly gym-goers create a great working environment Thank you North Gate for being awesome. This will be my flagship gym from here on out!

Madeleine M.

Yelp
Staff doesn't show up to work on time open gym . Got here at 530 am and waited for an hour and nobody showed up. So that's always super fun and professional.
google avatar

Yelp
The new 24-Hour Fitness in Northgate just opened and all the equipment is brand new and they now have TV's on each piece of cardio equipment and they are all iPod/iPhone interactive. Since it's Super Sport (as opposed to the Express that it used to be), it now has a sauna, steam room, hot tub, pool, and is probably 4x the size of the former club and right across from the Northgate mall. The sauna is a little small but it's just the right temperature and the wood still smells/looks like new! The pool is only two-lanes, which is incredibly small. At the downtown gym there are 4 lanes and they are always full. There are 2 floors of the parking garage (enter off of Northgate Way) and then there is also parking across the street just South of Key Bank in the Northgate mall parking lot. Parking spots are very small and hard to get into, in the parking garage. Showers are nice with shower curtains/doors! And they have a swim suit dryer, as well as nice seating area for drying your hair, and free towel service. Lockers are small, I wish they had the full length lockers like the downtown gym has. I prefer hanging up my clothes in the locker to keep them nice. Overall I really really really like the gym and will probably be using this gym the most out of all the gyms around Seattle!

Yelp
I actually really like the northgate 24hr fitness. It's super spacious and well-equipped with everything you need. On top of that, there is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, a sauna, a basketball court, soul-cycling room and a dance studio. The staff here is always very nice and helpful. They make you feel welcome as you come and go. Unlike the downtown 24hr fitness which I used to go to, you don't need to wait hours for a squat rack or inhale BO the entire workout when you are there (although very rarely it is the case but this is a gym after all). Most importantly, compared to the demographics of the gym-goers at the downtown 24hr fitness, here at northgate the vibe is more relaxed. No obsessive buff dudes grunting hurrrrrh haaaaaah and slamming weights onto the ground with complete disregard of others. Even at its peak time around 7:30pm the gym doesn't feel overly crowded where you need to rub shoulders against each other to pass by. But, I mostly wrote this review because 24hr fitness has recently changed its operating time from 24/7 to opening from 4am to 12am, abridging 4 hours of unnecessary energy waste. I also appreciate how 24hr fitness offer classes designed for not only young people but also for the elderly to come together to join. The classes are of lower intensity and focus more on moving on the body. This is a nice way to encourage them to workout by building a little community for them. The basketball court also seems to be the place b-ballers find their cliques (not in a bad way). The monthly membership can be a little pricy for many but considering how well-equipped this gym is and if you are hitting the gym regularly and taking full advantage of all the spaces i'd say it's worth it. There are plenty of parking spaces in the garage. If you cant find a spot on the first floor, drive down one floor and there are more parking spots. If not, you can park across the street at northgate mall.

Yelp
i was just a little upset when i found out that my 24 hour fitness was only open for 11 hours out of the day. i really think false advertising is a crime and i felt like i was robbed of my experience. i went in with expectations of fitness 24 hours of the day, i was saddened to find out that they close at 11pm. below i will give a link to a petition on legally changing the advertisement on all 24 hours that are not open for 24 hours. sincerely, him

Yelp
Despite being a comprehensive workout facility I am alarmed that this facility is operating without much regard or appreciation for sanitation and safety. The mens showers are disgusting which I refuse to use until the pink mold is removed and regular cleaning is instituted. 24 hr. personnel are aware of this unhealthy condition as I have pointed out to several front desk persons for the past couple months without any results. I'm amazed with the weak excuses I'm given for this over site each time I've addressed this. The department of health may not be so forgiving.

Yelp
It took me a moment to consider whether it's worth my time to review this gym given what I experienced. In my book, the gym itself (equipment, set up, classes, etc.) would've provided me with what I need to exercise. The customer service, however, was the biggest decision why I would never go back. ZERO STARS firm! I got a 30 day pass, yup 3-0, for filling out a marketing survey. I was excited about this because I initially requested a 3 day pass & was rewarded 10 fold! I get to the gym after a decent bike ride & go through the entire song & dance. Yes, I have my ID. No, I've never been a member. Yes, I've been here before. No, I don't wanna sign up yet...I have a 30 day pass. After that, they wanted me to meet with a membership rep. He was nice guy who understood that I just wanted to workout. I shook off the entire thing because I really wanted my body to feel better. When I arrive the next week, I ask the front desk how I would go about signing in. Mind you, I was never told the entire process the week before & things like that are important to me. I want to maximize my time working out, not jumping through hoops. The guy who tried to answer my question got the details mixed up & told me I'd have to go through the whole process. Remember...I have a 30 day pass. He tells me I have to meet with a membership rep, blah, blah, blah. Definitely not making me want to be part of this place. I explain to him that I activated the pass a week prior & was able to workout. "Oh!" he says & states that I can go in. Not 5 minutes in the gym & a bulldog of a trainer/membership rep calls out my name like I'm a 5 year old child & yells to me "when they say to wait for membership rep, YOU WAIT!" Sorry...BRO...I'm not a dog like you. I asked him if I had to go through this entire shit show everyday for 30 days &, you guessed it, YES! Frustrated by the entire thing, I packed up my gear & politely left. I don't know about you, but when I get a chance to try out a place that I will more than likely PAY hard earned cash to, I expect those representing the business to take a bit more time to explain to me, the GUEST, the process of the place so things can go smoothly. When I'm thinking about PAYING for a gym membership, I expect to be treated as a GUEST & not someone's illegitimate bastard of a child. For a place that touts wanting to help you attain you fitness goals, your people sure do suck at wooing potential members who'll pay for you to do just that. Finally, don't add more insult to the entire debacle with another level of incompetence. No thank you!

Yelp
Always clean and as organized-as a gym can be when it is constantly being used. It also never smells bad in my opinion. The staff is always very friendly, I don't ask much from them so I can't say if they're helpful with specific things. The kids club is great though, staff there as well. The gym gets busy at around evening time (duh) but I think the atmosphere is so good because people usually do their sets and go or if they take long it's not because their twittering or whatever. I've been to the yoga-lates and a Zumba class and really liked both! :) I really enjoy this 24hour

Yelp
I thought I would get a little more if I paid a little more. I was wrong. I bought the high end membership because I travel. Most of the clubs are inferior. There is no consistency with the equipment so a workout needs to be adjusted to each location. No big deal, but it would be better if they used the same vendors across their sites. Don't join this club. They are on of the classic scams. You will be locked into paying for a full year including the annual fee, etc, even if you leave the country no matter what the ethically challenged sales rep tells you.

Yelp
Make a change: http://chng.it/cRTZ9MLS Today I noticed that the Kids Club signage had been removed and confirmed with the front desk that they had received notice to permanently close this service. As a parent with a full time job, this is incredibly frustrating. Especially, when there are no locations that offer a service even close to the service that this Kids Club provided. Kids Clubs provide a service more than just essential childcare in order to also live a healthy lifestyle. It provided my son with an opportunity to socialize with other kids from the time he was 6 months old. The impact of having a kids club goes far beyond just child care - it can inspire children to adopt healthier lifestyles as well. The equipment in the facility was clean, staff was incredibly friendly and caring and they offered a vast array of play equipment for all ages. More than the other few clubs in the area that provide childcare as well. Inclusivity is more than just race and sexual orientation but it's about being inclusive of all. This includes families and allowing them to use your facilities. In order to go to the gym these days, my husband and I have to take 3 hours out of our day to coordinate between naps and playtime. This includes an hour of us each to work out along with the time it takes to travel to and from the gym. However, when Kids Club is open it was a family adventure, that would only take an hour of our day. Once we arrived, Kids Club was packed! Some days we even had to leave since the wait for a spot was so long. I urge you to reconsider keeping the Kids Club at 24Hour Fitness Northgate open. I'm incredibly disappointed in the decision to permanently close and feel this was made in haste. There are so many families that use this location and there are no other options for us to shift to in the area. While we understand the company's intention of cutting expenses, this news saddens many - not because of the decision, but rather the lack of research into options outside of closing Kids Clubs altogether. During one discussion with other parents, we all agreed that we would have paid more for the same benefit if it meant continuing to have the service. But with this decision, parents will now have to seek out additional child care just to work out - though nothing can beat the convenience of the Kids Club. One option is to find another gym that provides childcare. In a quick search, I realized the only club near us is LA Fitness Ballard, the cost is $10 but the equipment only is cheap plastic McDonald's-like play structures. This is from their website: "You shouldn't have to choose between getting your exercise and ensuring your child gets theirs, too. Our Kids' Club attendants provide plenty of activities, games and crafts to get kids moving, playing and making new friends. Let us wear them out while you work out." How can you market this as why parents should come use your facilities and then take the rug out from us when we need it most after a year of our kids not being able to socialize? I am asking all the parents and members of 24 Hour Fitness to help raise awareness about this issue, bring attention to the corporate office, and hopefully persuade them to consider a different route - keeping clubs open, reducing hours, increasing the cost of Kids Club. Please sign this petition, share it with your gym friends, share it with everyone!

Yelp
This place sucks. You have to leave every 45 minutes. Staff is rude!! It's better to build a home gym!

Yelp
Signed up for a free trial, they sent me a code to come to the gym for FREE. I get there and they say I can't get in unless I pay a fee. Apparently false doesn't apply to that
