Where To Have A Day Date In Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"We like the original location of 26 Thai because it is always buzzing, and there’s plenty of space—inside or out on the street-facing Midtown patio—to stretch out. Come for an upbeat date, where the atmosphere does the talking. People gather around the bar with Thai lagers in hand, and animated conversations swirl around the dining room. Or make it a double date with friends for happy hour (2–6pm) for $8 crispy spring rolls. The move here is to share a few plates, but just know the basil chicken and the spicy tom yum, packed with Thai chilis are the kind of dishes that might expose your selfish side." - juli horsford, jacinta howard

The 16 Best Lunch Spots In Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"The OG location of 26 Thai in Midtown is where to go when you need a cool energy boost that’ll wake you up from a midday slump but with portions so big you’ll leave wanting a nap. The stylish restaurant is always buzzing with life—whether you sit in the plush green velvet chairs by the bar or hang out on the street-facing patio. Since they make some of the best Thai food in the area, picking a meal might be your easiest decision of the day. Dig into options like basil chicken—minced chicken with herbs, chili, and a fried egg—or the signature wings, double-fried for extra crispiness, tossed in Thai chili and sesame seasoning for a delicious balance of heat and nuttiness." - jacinta howard

The Most Romantic Date Night Restaurants in Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"When you’re in the early stages of dating and counting on the atmosphere to fill those awkward conversation gaps, 26 Thai in Midtown is basically your wingman. Sink into plush green velvet chairs and soak up the chatter reverberating through the always-busy (and often celeb-frequented) dining room. As the original location of this popular Atlanta chain, it’s the standout with a bigger menu. It may not land you a second date, but the order that'll warrant a second trip back here is the basil chicken, featuring minced chicken, fragrant basil, chili, and a fried egg on top. The spicy tom yum, loaded with Thai chili, mushrooms, and kaffir lime leaf, is another must-try." - nina reeder, juli horsford, jacinta howard

The Best Thai Restaurants In Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Everything about 26 Thai invites you to hang out, from the sweeping patio to the bar area with snug velvet chairs. It’s located in Midtown inside a gutted multi-level house, which could help explain the urge to make ourselves at home here. And we're not the only ones since the place is always buzzing with couples and chatty friends during dinner, lunch, and the $8 Happy Hour. But you're mainly here for the comfort of knowing that any dish you choose will be great. The best order is the basil chicken, which is packed with savory minced meat and fresh herbs. And start off with a crisp Singha lager and the spicy tom yum that's layered with flavors like hot chili, earthy mushrooms, and citrusy kaffir lime leaves." - jacinta howard, juli horsford, nina reeder

The Best Restaurants In Atlanta, According to EARTHGANG - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"WowGr8: “A really lovely place. It's huge. It looks like they turned an old big Southern house downtown into a Thai restaurant. The two best things on their menu are the pineapple boat, which is cracking in pineapple flavor, and the basil rice is second to none—they have different spice levels. If me and my lady just want to go have a good time somewhere, it's easy to go to. It’s a good place to get great service without feeling like you're in like the Atlanta-slash-Hollywood hustle of a bunch of people running around. You'll get a really good meal and a really good experience. They got a few smaller restaurants that they branched out to now (with food stalls at Ph’East and Politan Row), but the one on Juniper is the big one. That's my favorite one.”" - jacinta howard

Google
Thought I'd give them a 2nd try. No luck, overpriced food court charging restaurant prices. Ordered spring roll, coconut soup, pad thai. $32 & change. When you place your order at the kiosk you put in your phone # and they alert you. They did not have the right area code or any #'s that were part of my cell #. I was the only customer waiting. After 20 min I went to check on my food. It was cold, not room temperature but cold. The one guy working the counter was nice and refunded me. You'd think someone would have made the effort to find me since I was the only customer and 1 of 6 people in the whole food court. I won't be back to this restaurant or Polotan Row.

I had such a great experience at this place! The food was absolutely delicious —everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a night out with friends.

26 Thai at The Forum is an absolute gem! Their curry chicken is fantastic—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. I also tried the egg cheese rolls, and they were a delightful surprise—crispy on the outside, cheesy and savory on the inside. The garlic sauté was another highlight, packed with bold, aromatic flavors that complemented the meal perfectly. The service was warm and welcoming, and the ambiance made for a great dining experience. If you’re looking for delicious Thai food in a cozy setting, this is the place to go! Highly recommend!

Google
The Tamarind Snapper had all the flavors & spice 🤌🏾. We’ve already been back to the Forum for a 2nd time to try a different vendor but I went straight to 26 Thai to order the Tamarind Snapper again! It was just as spicy and delicious as the first time.

Out of all the places inside the forum I could have chosen from, I’m so glad I went to 26 Thai! The basil chicken was some of the best I ever had! Very flavorful, very delicious! Can’t wait to go back and try more options.

Google
I was a bit surprised at the prices of this restaurant considering the quality of the food we ended up receiving. The two guys running the shop were actually quite lovely- I had asked about food allergens and they were very polite and responsive. Food was ready pretty quickly as well. The pad see ew we ordered was much sweeter than we were used to, little to no smoky wok flavor and yet, bland. The basil fried rice had great basil flavor with a kick, but was way over-salted. (I know, I know… everybody is a food critic!). We eat out MAYBE three times a month so it’s more of a special treat! Normally I would say I love the meals I order (I pride myself on being such a good food order-er 🤣), but tonight I did not pick the best meal of our group! Because of the service I would consider trying again, but only after I’ve fully recovered from dehydration. (Everyone has an off night.)

The young lady greeted me and took my order and went over everything pretty much on the menu. I love coming and trying new things from here. Will definitely be back many more times with everyone.

Yelp
Great food. Probably top two Thai restaurants in the Atlanta Metro for me. Friendly staff and both dishes that I've tried were really good!

Yelp
Great Thai food and concept behind the place. Service is friendly and fast. Ambiance is both quiet and friendly. This is my new go to Thai place whenever I'm in the area. If you dine in the drinks and appetizers are worth a look!!

Yelp
Okayyyy, 26 Thai I see you!! You wouldn't believe how excited I was to see 26 Thai at the Forum Food Hall, Politan Row. I came here on a Sunday night. Vibes are perfect, and we didnt even have to wait in line. They have a combo special where you get 2 spring rolls for 5$ with the Shrimp Pad Thai that we ordered. Because this location is in a food hall, we were a little nervous of that the food would not be consistent the 26 Thai Brookhaven location that we love. Safe to say we were not disappointed. Everything was delicious !! Can't wait to come back to this location again

Yelp
Always a fan of 26 Thai and was happy to see one at Politan Row in peachtree corners. I will say there was a bit of a long wait to get our food but it was expected with the amount of people ordering from this place. The three dishes we got were more than enough for four people and had to go buy more rice so we could finish the curries. The panang curry had a bit of heat and had asked for medium spicy but balanced well with coconut milk. There was also good amount of chicken in the meal as well. The masaman curry was also pretty tasty and the rice was absolutely delicious as well. It is a bit on the pricier end but totally worth it for the taste and quantity of food you get for each meal.

Yelp
The eighth and newest location of the 26 Thai empire in the Atlanta area, this one is located inside the new Politan Row food hall at the Forum in Peachtree Corners. The food hall has plenty of other options and is a fairly loud place, so be warned! For a semi-busy only Saturday afternoon at the food hall, the place was fairly busy with orders and we got our food with good timing. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can order either at the counter or at an iPad by the front, and you can get a text when the food is ready. We ordered a lunch special, a smaller serving Penang curry with crispy tofu ($15) with the optional addition of 2 egg rolls (+$5). Was a decent serving for two people, and the curry was exceptionally flavourful and spicy. Egg rolls were nice and fresh but maybe a bit too much leaf inside for our taste. The menu is a bit smaller than the other locations but has the staples, noodle dishes, rice dishes, curry dishes, and a good selection of starters. Some of the choices are different than the Perimeter location. Food is slightly on the pricier end unfortunately but the food hall is quite new and shiny at this time which is expected, expect in the range of $15-25 for a main course and around $12 for appetisers.

Yelp
Hmm..I am really puzzled at the photos I see here on Yelp for 26 Thai Kitchen at Politan Row Peachtree Corners, Either they cleaned up their act or they are bringing you a facade. I went here for the first time and my husband and I ordered the garlic Chicken, spring rolls and coconut soup. I was appalled, The food looked nothing like the pictures on the menu. The soup was served in a plastic container with lackluster produce and I could have made a better garlic chicken at home that actually had the toppings pictured. The prices were outrageous for what we received and we weren't even waited on. The ambiance was of a higher end food court with a bar. Bottom line I recommend trying a different restaurant in Politan Row.

Yelp
Great experience! We got the chicken basil fried rice, massaman curry, and panang curry and it was great! The service was reasonable but there is a little bit of wait. The food court has good space and imagery.

Yelp
Food was very good. I have to say, one of the few Thai restaurants in this area that makes their food just the way I like it. Minimal fish sauce and less sweet too: too much of these in Thai food used around the other Thai places here. It's in Politan Row, so not much to write about ambiance or service gif this location. However their midtown and Buckhead locations, both have a great ambiance as well as service.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday. Food hall was busy and loud. Was able to order quickly on their iPad and get a text once food was ready. The wait was short. I ordered one of their two vegan options, the garden vegan. It contained crispy tofu in a mushroom sauce with green beans, broccoli, grape tomatoes, red pepper, onions and bean sprouts. It was served with a scoop of white rice for $19. I added spring rolls for an additional $5. The entree was very good and vegetables were fresh, but the serving was small for the high price. The spring rolls were bland and burned. I could not eat them. Overall, I found food to be overpriced for quality and quantity.
