Yelp
~First Impressions~ Came here twice for two different events. Both through a good friend. First time hearing about the Haven but the atmosphere and staff are amazing. We had Jared as a waiter and he was top class. As a fellow whisky lover, he gave great recommendations and overall was a bright and fun waiter. We also had the pleasure of meeting Jason the owner and he is a great character. Full of smiles and tremendously generous with a great community around him. This place is more than just food and drinks. It's a place with great hospitality. ~The Food~ I had all kinds of starters and entrees here with all of them delivering. The croquettes, scotch egg, lam sausage and pepperoni pizzas were all tasty with the variety of drinks they offered. The Haven Burger was definitely the favorite. Best sliders I've had in Boston! ~The Logistics~ Staff is very accommodating and there's plenty of space all around. There's also a parking lot with plenty of spots, but it does start getting busy towards the evenings. ~Bonus~ The Haven have some great events and I had a chance to attend one of the Dram nights. Sat at a table with a friend and a couple of strangers we met. Was a pleasant experience with an excellent selection of cask strength single malts. The history and story behind each helped enhance the experience and again Jason driving the crowd with such positive energy is a blast.

Yelp
I love this spot. They have a nice private patio as well a cozy indoor dining room. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu, which made me forget I was at a bar restaurant. The salmon had crispy skin and was served with a quinoa tossed green salad with a delicious dressing. The fried garbanzo beans added a nice texture. It is a place to linger so I went ahead and ordered the whiskey creme brulee. Everything was spot on including the service. A five minute walk from the orange T line and in the same complex as the Sam Adams tour.

Yelp
" Oh wow the fish and chips ; so good " The biggest portion of fish and chips ; I had . They give Kelly's roast beef a bad name , lol. I like the vibe in here . It's so upbeat and these people are just happy ; to see you . The price is a bargain for the portion sizes . We definitely will be back . Such a fun time .

Yelp
Not impressed at all as much as I thought I would like it. The Batter was a little burnt on my fish dinner witch gave it an unpleasant bitter taste the fries were under cooked yet burnt on the outside even more bitterness the scotch egg was a chintzy affair the layer of sausage was so thin it was laughable for $12 give me a break. The Beef pie was a bit much not bad just too thick as far the meat inside made for a laborious chew. Over all I would pass on this place there are way better places that serve this type of food in the city.

Yelp
I generally like this place, been here pretty often. my friend and I ordered old fashioneds off the menu. He came back from bathroom and said "oh, you're almost done?" I hadn't had a sip yet. Pretty expensive glass of ice. We ended getting dinner elsewhere.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere, warm and welcoming with excellent, friendly service from Katrine. My burger was AMAZING! One of the best burgers I have ever had. It had that nice sear on the outside and lusciously juicy on the inside cooked just right. The fries were piping hot. Poached pear for dessert was refreshingly delicious. I look forward to the next time.

Yelp
The Haven: A Cozy Slice of Scotland in Jamaica Plain If you find yourself wandering through Jamaica Plain in Boston and your stomach starts to rumble, do yourself a favor and head straight to The Haven. This Scottish gem offers an atmosphere that feels like a warm embrace, combining the charm of a Scottish pub with the vibrancy of a neighborhood favorite. The moment you step inside The Haven, you're greeted with a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The decor blends traditional Scottish elements with a touch of modern flair, creating an ambiance that's both nostalgic and fresh. Think tartan patterns, warm lighting, and a relaxed, friendly crowd. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. The Haven's fish and chips are a must-try. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly seasoned, it's a dish that embodies comfort food at its finest. Each bite takes you on a culinary journey straight to Scotland. And then there's the crafted black ale, Old Engine Oil. Rich, smooth, and with just the right amount of bitterness, it's the perfect companion to your meal. This ale is robust and flavorful, making it a great choice for those who appreciate a good craft beer. The staff at The Haven are another highlight. They're friendly and attentive without being overbearing, striking a perfect balance that makes you feel well taken care of without feeling rushed. Their laid-back demeanor adds to the overall relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant, allowing you to enjoy your meal at your own pace. One thing to keep in mind is the parking situation. It's a bit tight, which is typical for the area, but manageable depending on the time of day. If you plan your visit during off-peak hours, you should be able to find a spot without too much trouble. Final Thoughts The Haven is more than just a place to eat; it's an experience. From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the excellent food and drink, every aspect of this Scottish restaurant is designed to make you feel right at home. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Haven is definitely worth a visit. So, grab a pint of Old Engine Oil, settle in with some fish and chips, and enjoy a little taste of Scotland right in the heart of Jamaica Plain.

Yelp
Just a great burger. Everything you want in a burger flavor. My friend said it was the best burger of her life. We also got their Shepherd's pie which I normally don't like lamb, but the flavor wasn't that strong and it was very interesting to try a traditional Scottish dish!

Yelp
Food was well crafted and delish. Play on the eggs Benedict was real good. Burger had a great cheese combo and was perfectly cooked. Service was good. Only complaint was the dark room. Understood the game was on a projector but having table lights are a better option than not.

Yelp
I had visited this restaurant some years ago at its former location near Centre Street. It was a bit disappointing. I decided to give them another try now they have moved. The newer venue is much more spacious with ample parking. The table servers were friendly and attentive. I had the pepperoni pizza and it was really delicious: thin crust with some substance and body, a sweet sauce, and the right balance of zesty cheese. Next time I will be back for the burger!

Yelp
Scottish restaurant with really good food! Vibe: Lots of Scottish cultural paraphernalia. There's a patio, restaurant space open to the patio, bar, and indoor seating. Service: excellent, arrived without a reservation on a Friday night and the hostess was able to get us to a table, our waiter was great, we didn't have to wait long at all to check out 10/10 Food: The menu is all Scottish food and drink, small but curated, some vegetarian options. I got the shepherd's pie and it was delicious! The lamb was so tender and not gamey, the cheese was perfectly browned, the rest of the filling was so good. I had a couple chunks of fat that I thought were meat that threw me off but the rest was so delicious. Would definitely recommend. For desert the sticky toffee pudding, again delicious and would recommend, sweet and soft with delicious ice cream pairing and creamy caramel. Value: it is $$ but the food was excellent, portions just right, worth a trip for sure Overall really loved this restaurant, the food was so on point, 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
I've been craving an English breakfast for some time, and I ordered the Full Scotch (5). It's the best full breakfast I've had in the Boston area. (If you're looking for a drink recommendation, I paired my meal with a Wee Heavy.) Our table also ordered the Wild Boar sausage roll (3) and lamb Bridies (4) to taste. I was surprised by how small the wild boar sausage roll was. The sausage tasted gamey, as expected, however, tough, and dry, compared to the Full Scotch sausage. The bridies were just as small but I tasted the lamb in every bite. I could have ordered a few more, and it paired nicely with the beer. A friend who never tried Scottish food said bridies tasted like a pierogi. (I think better!) Our service was considerate and timely. (5) After we ordered our beers, they mentioned our Wee Heavys would come out in bottles which we were completely fine with. Instead our beers arrived in glasses, which was a thoughtful gesture. For how large our party was, our six meals were brought out at the same time and all still hot. The ambiance is unfussy. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon, we arrived just an hour after opening. There were a few parties, but they seemed all evenly spaced out. We were able to carry our convos without yelling. (5/5) As for the restaurant, I liked the refurbished smokestack outside, the ceiling height inside, Premier League football in the background, and the bar decor of their scotch collection. My initial review is a 4.5 star because The Haven left a great first impression. I've tried many restaurants in Boston this year, and this was my favorite meal. (I'll give a complete five star after two meals.) I'd like to try their haggis, and if it's still available, bangers and mash, a Scotch flight, and deep fried mars bar; Trivia also sounds fun so I may just have to come back a few more times...
google avatar

Monica S.

Yelp
We were promptly sat without a reservation, and quickly attended to for drinks and food. The checking in on us stopped after that. The Mac n cheese is oven roasted so it can be considered too dry for some. The "bangers" were good, no qualms there. The haggis was apparently really dry and my husband couldn't finish it. He really liked the sausage appetizer. It was just okay, kind of lackluster. Obviously not being checked in on for refills and such was not great, either. Ambience seemed cool and chill, and people appeared to enjoy their stay.

Yelp
Food was excellent (fish supper, Scottish salmon, scotch egg, as well as an awesome crème brûlée). Varied and interesting Scotch menu and solid service. Female bartender not washing her hands after the restroom was disappointing

Yelp
The service and the place is beautiful and good. The food is honestly pretty good! The menu doesn't have too many options but somehow it worked out well!! Try the Haven burger FOR SURE! The bun, sauce, fries... all amazing!! Their dessert are also always delicious! The first time we went there we tried sticky toffee pudding which was essentially a cake with ice cream, it was delicious and shareable! The drinks are also awesome! In general it is such a cool place! Try it out

Yelp
If your girl is liable to fall for a handsome, young, tall, kilt-wearing muscular bagpipe player, DO NOT bring her to the annual Burns Supper. She will mutter, drunk on good whiskey, the entire ride home about Ohh how talented he is! Yes yes the lad also plays the guitar and sings and has curly dirty blond hair and a mellifluous voice. Yes, after supper, he will ask you politely now how your dessert was and mention there's an after party if you'd like to join. When that songster spoke admiringly in Scottish lilt about the proto-socialist contents of some of Burns' lyrics, all the girlfriends in the restaurant swooned, especially the right-wing ones who, like everyone, harbor a ironic fantasy about meeting a traveling genius Howard Zinn quoting troubadour. I am not Scottish but I know about the Burns Supper tradition, when Scots gather for a meal to commemorate Robert Burns, the lad who set the standard for taking someone else's tunes and plastering his own lyrics over them. Burns Suppers follow a set menu: soup, whiskey, haggis and whiskey with some songs interspersed. Not being Scottish, I've never had haggis before. In the middle of the ceremony, the owner rolled out a haggis so large it probably should be a proper noun, recited a poem about haggis, addressed it personally and respectfully, asked for consent and drove a sword the size of Excalibur into the great food and the meat was brought out to the guests. Since eating it, I've had a slight Scottish accent I can't quite shake. I try to explain to my wife and children how delicious haggis is but they look at me like I'm speaking a foreign language. At the end of the supper, everyone clasped hands and sang Old Lang Song, marking a new year onto the Scottish calendar. I was at the end of the lovefest chain without anyone to grasp onto with my other hand. An impromptu friend made over dinner shouted at me, "You're all alone with no one to hold!" I've thought that about myself many days. I think that's why even though I'm not Scottish I go to events like these and Thank God for them. The best haggis and bagpipe playing in Jamaica Plains, MA. My name is Bruce.

Yelp
I had the fish and chips (which they called "Fish Supper" or something like that. It was delicious! All of it- the minted mushy peas (mashed green peas) were great despite the unappetizing name. Lol fried potatoes were excellent and perfectly cooked, as was the fish. Further, the fish didn't have too much batter. Sometimes these places use too much batter on the fish, but not this place. Good stuff! It was so good that I went back twice in one week. Added bonus for the friendly service and dark ambience. I wish it was further away from my place. Because I could easily get fatter eating there all the time. I guess I'll just have to depend on good, old-fashioned will power!

Yelp
My boyfriend was really excited to take me to The Haven as he LOVED visiting it when it was in Hyde Square. Unfortunately, this experience was not stellar. We ordered the Scotch Egg as that's what The Haven is known for. The egg came out burnt and the yolk wasn't deviled like at the previous location. We then both ordered the steak with broccolini. The steak was good, had nice seasoning, but was overcooked. The broccolini flowers tasted as if we were licking salt! We would have mentioned it to the server, but nobody ever came over to check on us or ask how our meal was. While I normally wouldn't be upset about having more quality time on a date, our table was placed directly under a speaker that started blaring music halfway through our dinner. It was impossible to hear each other. When the time came to leave, the host/ person who took our order came back with the bill. Instead of placing it on the table for us to review, he announced our total for neighboring tables to hear and handed the device (then walked away). This was very weird, rude, and completely unacceptable! We are so incredible put off by this experience and sadly will not be back despite the convenience. I hope they find this review and find ways to improve.

Yelp
This place has a great vibe for an afternoon drink or for dinner with a large group. Fish Supper was off the chain and the original Space Jam on the bar TV was a nice touch.

Yelp
Updating my review. Gave it 5 stars long ago and giving it another 5 stars. Place has a fantastic and unique beer list, the best selection of scotch in the city and my favorite cheeseburger. Love the bartenders as well. FYI. When you see a 1 star review from someone it's 99% because that person is a terrible human being. Try clicking on their profile and see all the other terrible reviews they give.

Yelp
The Haven makes you feel like a regular. It's a great spot to have a pint or whiskey with your bros, or to take the family out to dinner. Authentic Scottish food with a warm ambiance this is a great destination in Jamaica Plain and one of my go-to spots in my neighborhood.

Yelp
Been a few years since my wife and I have gotten to the Haven. The new space is awesome! They did great with decorating. Service was awesome and the food honestly was better than I remember. Great scotch list too
google avatar

Christina N.

Yelp
Honestly this place was great! This is usually not my favorite type of cuisine but everything was cooked really well. They had a wide range of drinks including beers and ciders. It's a great spot for large groups (we had 9) because they have a large tables and booths that almost feel like you're alone. Service was also great!

Yelp
Delicious food in a homey, casual atmosphere. I stumbled upon the Haven by accident, looking for a place with good gluten-free options for a friend, and they more than delivered. Here's what I tried: Beet salad. Loved that they put the dressing on the side, good amount of diced beets. For the price, though, I wished they added some more of the walnuts and cheese. Seafood plate. Wow! Would definitely order this again. It came with cured salmon, another smoked fish spread, shrimp, pickles, a dab of spicy mustard, and oatcakes. First time trying oatcakes and I loved them (seriously might make a batch for breakfast). They had the slightest hint of sweetness and paired well with all the spreads. Fish supper. I sampled a bite of the fish - they offer grilled instead of beer battered. Haven burger. Our waitress raved about this item and I did see it featured prominently both in other reviews and on other tables, so figured it was a must-try. I got this to-go for my husband, and though it slumped a little structurally on the car ride back, it held up well. The thick-cut fries are absolutely a must-order. For World Cup fans, they play a regular rotation of games here, and they also have a lineup of live music/comedy. Parking: They have their own off-street parking lot in front of the restaurant, with another lot around the corner. Some metered options nearby too.

Kyle C.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town and needed food after a long flight. Happened across The Haven, ended up walking over and was absolutely amazed. Walked in and found a nice little spot, reminds you of a Scottish bar in the highlands would look like. The server was amazing, gave great advice on food, ended up going with the Lamb Birdie, which was amazing, flakey and full of filling. Also ended up getting the hot dog, and if you do ask for a side of the cherry pepper aioli, it goes great with the hotdog and fries. Sticky pudding to top things off and the fresh strawberries with the warm toffee sauce and ice cream was an amazing way to end the meal. Would strongly suggest you swing by and try this amazing joint.

Yelp
We were greeted warmly by the host, our server was pleasant and skilled, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable and fun. I would highly recommend

Yelp
I love the new location. Lots of parking, near the Orange line, and you can bike there. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable. They have both indoor and outdoor options. The food is super fresh and delicious. They have a variety of traditional Scottish cuisine and modern food. This is place is not to be missed and as it is a unique experience in the city and it is a wonderful time.

Yelp
Great family friendly restaurant with quality food just outside of old town Alexandria. Pizzas are good and decent selection of beers.

Yelp
The new Haven location feels like a nice blend of their old location and Bella Luna. There are lots of flat screen TVs mounted around the space showing a digital fire, which is just a little weird. It wants to still be dark and cozy, but is cursed by the open door to the bathroom area with that harsh hot pink light. Alas. At least all the Scottish cows and art are there, plus the same wonderful hosts and staff as their Hyde Square location. And, best for me, the same incredible Cullen skink soup. Omg this soup is so good!!! The drink menu is extensive with a whole separate list just for whiskey. Now they serve pizza, but I haven't tried that yet. Our waiter was friendly and didn't rush us at all. The food is just so sooooooo good. The new location seems a lot more kid-friendly and I'm eager to try out their outdoor space when the weather warms up!

Nikolas B.

Yelp
Would not recommend this place if you enjoy your food seasoned. Service wasn't horrible and ambiance was great, but unfortunately the food wasn't edible.

Susan H.

Yelp
always a pleasure to be at the haven. yummy food, friendly and efficient service. i'm coming back. thanks, folks. s.h.

Yelp
We strolled over to the Haven from the Sam Adams brewery on Father's Day and were very pleasantly surprised. The food is great! We sampled the Shepherd's pie and the burgers. Everything was delicious. The service was slow the day we were there and we were seated in a room that had heavy dark shades on all the windows which we moved ourselves to let the sun in (since staff was largely hard to find.). The food was and beverages are worth giving this place a try!
google avatar

Sarah O.

Yelp
The burger here has been voted Best in the USA by The Burger Showdown and I can see why. The cocktails were very good-- I wish they came in cuter glasses but taste is more important. The salmon is very good and the accompaniments with it being out the flavor. This is a beer and scotch place, so if you like those two things you'll have a great time. I'm a fan of neither but I still loved it, so I guess that shows you how good everything is. The atmosphere is dark, cozy, and unique. They don't have many tables so make sure to make a reservation! They aren't doing brunch currently but will start doing it again soon I've heard, so I'm excited to try that as well! Insta: @foodiesnapstagram

Yelp
Not sure why Yelp thinks this place is closed. It's open and awesome. This place is a scottish bar. They have a fantastic collection of scotch and they are super knowledgable about it too. You can find some interesting bottles there. They also have a great list of beers, a lot of scottish beers too. I didn't try the cocktails but they seemed to have a good list. The food was great, I had the fish and chips and it was fantastic. The owner, Jason, is the nicest guy in the world. He knows his scotch really well. And he really puts in a lot of effort and time into making the Haven a special place. They do regular scotch tastings and bring in distillers. And they have other regular events. PLEASE SEE THE END WHEN FOR WHAT MY STARS MEAN. Food - 4/5 - I need to try some more of the food here but everything I've had has been good. The fish and chips are pretty quintessential. Drinks - 5/5 - Great scotch list. Great beer list. Lot of unique offerings. Drinks look good too. Ambiance - 5/5 - The decor in here is really cool. Mix of trendy and hole in the wall. Both done and mixed the right way. Just feels like a place you can bring any type of friend group to and ppl will feel comfortable. They also do a bunch of events on different nights. Waitstaff - 5/5 - Everyone is really nice. The staff seem like theyre a group of friends too. So it just feels like a very welcoming and accommodating environment. Overall - 5/5 - Great spot. I'd go out of my way to go here. Lot of new restaurants in boston almost feel manufactured or cookie cutter. This one feels like a work of love by the owner. My Ranking System: 5 stars - I will go out of my way to eat here 4 stars - If I am in the area, I will like to eat here 3 stars - Not my first option, but if other people want to go here then fine 2 stars - I'll eat here only under special circumstances 1 star - I rather not go out

Yelp
Great atmosphere, service and food! Highly recommend! Will definitely be back. The fish and chips was awesome!

Yelp
This is the place to go for Scottish food and excellent Scotch. They host a variety of events/tastings that will please both the newbie to Scotch as well as the aficionado. Be sure to follow them on Eventbrite or through their webpage for upcoming events.

Yelp
Festive local restaurant with a hearty Scottish vibe, flair and menu. Don't worry there are normal food options too! Jason the proprietor is on hand all the time, great guy with a strong Scots and neighborhood pride. if you are in town in January check out the Burns Dinner which tends to sell out.

Heidi W.

Yelp
The Haven has been on our list to visit for a while now and after finally going, we wish that we had gone sooner. We went for lunch and everything was wonderful; lovely atmosphere, fine Scottish ales on tap, traditional food as well as American fare and an impressive whisky selection. Our waiter, Chase could not have been nicer and added a lot to a perfect afternoon. Already looking forward to returning for brunch, dinner or a televised sporting event. A little slice of our beloved Scotland right in JP.

Weldon P.

Yelp
I had the shepherds pie, partner had the veggie curry. Started with the scotch egg and a glass of wine. Everything missed the mark. Scotch egg was far over cooked, no gooey center, completely blanched yolk. Shepherds pie was said to include lamb (as most do) but seemed to have only been infused with a lamb adjacent flavoring. Gravy wasnt particularly cooked well, seemed like beef stock was added at the last minute in prayer that the instant potatoes would react as a thickening agent. The veggie curry, branded as a "masala style" curry, had far too heavy a pinch of cinnamon, overpowering the dish. The spice was there, but clearly cooked by a person with little to no experience integrating british-indian flavors into a dish worth retailing. Only reason I'm willing to bump the restaurant from a 1 to a 2 is the soundtrack and ambiance. Felt very posh-pubby. Music was nice. Place was far overpriced for the food crossing the counter, save your money and eat elsewhere.
google avatar

Annie B.

Yelp
This is a great spot for a big group! We were able to get a reservation for 10 on Friday, which was fabulous. We enjoyed the ambiance, although the volume of the music was such that you couldn't hear anyone at the other end of the table. I enjoyed the Betty Burke cocktail to start, which was very tasty. Everyone seemed pleased with the drink menu-- the whisky menu was pretty extensive. The oatcakes, cheeseboard, and cheese bridies were great to share a few orders of amongst our group as appetizers. I wish there had been a classic cheese pizza, but instead there was a four cheese garlic pizza, which sounded great until I realized it has blue cheese (I wish my tastebuds enjoyed blue cheese). The vegan pizza, however, shocked me with how flavorful it was-- the sauce was quite yummy! Who would've guessed that a Scottish place would do tasty pizza more generally and tasty vegan pizza more specifically. We also sampled all of the dessert menu items, which were also pretty good.

Christina T.

Yelp
Went for brunch at 1pm today. Out of iced tea, diet coke and creme Brulee. Advertised as a Scottish resturant. Nothing resembled Scottish food dishes
google avatar

Dave J.

Yelp
Love the new location. Everything is amazing.. recommend the burger and scotch egg.. and Mac n Cheese.. mmm

Erin D.

Yelp
Huge fan of The Haven. The food is delicious and it is great to have vegetarian versions of Scottish classics along with traditional recipes, as our family has both vegetarians and meat eaters.
google avatar

Elyssa F.

Yelp
My husband and I came for dinner and were very impressed! The ambiance and atmosphere are amazing and great for a date night or just relaxing night out. We both had the burger and it was absolutely delicious, one of the best I've ever had. As to be expected, incredible scotch and whiskey selection. I look forward to returning.

Marc S.

Yelp
The "Fish Dinner", more commonly known as Fish & Chips, was excellent: really nice piece of whitefish, cooked to crispy perfection. Washed down with a pint of arguably the best Scottish ale, Belhaven. The atmosphere is nothing special (a bit too dark, multiple TV screens), but the service is friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Second update: the owner of this place, Jason, reached out to me privately to ask me to take the review down. He said it was likely not his restaurant that made us all sick, but as all 5 of us were only together for this one meal and only 3 of us ate the scotch egg (the same three that got sick), I'm pretty sure our diarrhea was from the scotch egg. He also mansplained to me how scotch eggs are prepared and said a jammy yolk isn't possible (which is untrue), so definitely would never go back here now that I know this place is run by a very rude man who can't handle feedback! Jason, if you're reading this, you could not pay me to take down this review at this point given the insulting manner you've handled my feedback and perspective in our private messages. Please take this feedback and improve your restaurant (and guest service) so nobody else has to have the same experience we did in the future. And by that I mean the experience of getting sick from your food and now being yelled at by you privately. Updating my review to 1 star cause 3 of the 5 of us got sick to our stomachs after eating here last night. It was definitely the pre-made scotch eggs so avoid those like the plague (that they probably carry!) Not Scottish food. I wouldn't come here for anything but drinks, they had a nice Scotch/Whisky list and decent cocktails, but the food was bland bland bland (and not even in a Scottish way). The Scotch egg was disgusting, basically inedible. We asked for a runny yolk in the traditional scotch egg style and were informed these are PRE-MADE SCOTCH EGGS. That should have been our first sign to bolt but we went ahead and it was just chewy and tasteless and super over boiled. The sausage roll barely had any pastry on it and the flavor of the meat was just mediocre. We also got oat cakes which were like unflavored cookies, not a crispy oat cake, just a very soft and thick pile of bland mush. The fish for the fish and chips was a gigantic size but unfortunately came with less than a dozen chips. The mushy peas were also not minty enough and were more like "chopped" peas than mushy. Would never go back for food, would likely only go for drinks (and only if coerced).

Yelp
Yes your place is slide to the t and blue bike but I'm disabled and live in Dorchester so there are no short cuts , driving is my only option . Next time I'll put that in a review!

Yelp
We loved, The Haven! Great food and vibe. Look forward to going back for the cheeseburger which looked delish.

Yelp
Was unsure what to expect seeing this was my first time visiting and eating at the haven. Very disappointed with the food absolutely not a kids friendly no kids menu no kids cups . When in New England area and you see sea food platers you think fried Not. They make the own ketchup nice you think not flavorful not a replacement for real thing. Good location and size..
