Here are the Best Food-Related Events to Try at the 12th Annual Philly Beer Week | Eater Philly

"Partnering with Pizzeria Stella for Dinner Under the Shambles, 2SP Brewing will provide beer pairings for a four-course, family-style Italian-focused menu (gnocchi with English peas and gorgonzola, sweet corn pizza, gargati with duck ragu) served under the Headhouse Square Shambles." - Audrey Carleton

Stopped in this afternoon for a beer with a former work bud from NJ today 11/01/25. Was greeted by our gracious barmaid Christina who took time to give us a tour of the working brewery. Wow, what a brewery that is totally legit. Fermentation tanks, mash tuns, which are gigantic. It was so cool to see where 2SP is actually made. As a former home brewer, I was blown away. The beers were just as spectacular. Check out 2SP, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers from Prospect Park PA and Mt Laurel NJ. Delco at it’s finest.

Google
Fun brewery with great beer and service. If you visit, try and make it for the All Weather Happy Hour. You can’t beat $4 pints.

Google
Great brewery tasting room. Spacious with a bar and tables. Outdoors seating as well. Food trucks on weekends. I’ve liked their beers over the years but never made it to the brewery. Remnant 4 hit the spot!!!! I like it more now!

Andrew

Google
Great brewery and a beer for everyone. The winter festival was awesome. Not much more to say, except you see all 2SP products all across Delco and Philly for a reason. There are delicious

M B

Google
Low-key brewery in southeast Pennsylvania that routinely puts out delicious beer. Was driving south on 95 from Philly and I spotted this place on Google Maps and knew I had to stop in. We were not disappointed as the staff was friendly and the beer was delicious. My favorites were the Up, Up and Away and the Pollen Nation. I also enjoyed the Russian Imperial Stout, where a portion of the proceeds support Ukraine charities. Definitely stop by whenever you are in the area- especially on a nice day as they have a deck out front and food trucks

Google
Reggie (the dog) likes it! So we do too! Great brew and a good crowd. Kid friendly. Visit their website to find out what's new and what food truck will be there.

Google
This was my first visit to 2Sp and it was well worth it. The staff was very friendly and the service was outstanding. I enjoyed several of the craft beers they have ,including a really smooth and tasty pale ale.

Greg

Google
Great BBQ chicken cheese steak. Bacon, Maple wings also very good.

Jayne D.

Yelp
Fantastic brewery! They had a nice variety of beers and I found that they were all great. The atmosphere was very good. All the locals and staff there were incredibly friendly and helpful. I have been to many breweries all over the country and this was one of my absolute favorites.

Yelp
We sat in the back, and the beer was alright, but there wasn't much vibe. We saw the server around a few times, but it felt like she kind of forgot about us.

Yelp
I stopped for a quick beer at 2SP. 2SP is located outside of Upland in a small industrial park. Plenty of seating and a large selection of beer; with plenty of beer choices to go. I had one of the IPAs. The bartender was attentive and the other patrons were friendly. They have plenty of outdoor seating as well. Give them a try.
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
I have a special place in my heart for industrial park breweries, and 2SP has earned a spot at the table. I've had a few 2SP beers on draft a local bars, so it was a treat to visit the place where the magic happens. The tap selection is all encompassing. There's something for everyone! The menu included both a nitro and cask option, both of which have been hard to come by in pandemic times. I enjoyed the outdoor patio space, and the visiting food truck offered some delicious options to accompany our beers. I sampled the Voluptuous Fuzz and the Easy Peasy - both crisp and refreshing. The outdoor patio is both kid and dog friendly, and the wait staff does a good job of checking-in. 2SP receives bonus points for great parking, accessibility, clean bathrooms, and proximity to Subaru Park.
google avatar

Katrina L.

Yelp
2SP is a really great brewery - the year-round beers are solid (I always like the Up & Up, and today I enjoyed the Back & Forth) but the special releases were also great. The DelcoFest (Oktoberfest/Marzen style) was absolutely delicious. The brewery is in an office park, so plenty of parking and a low key environment. There are plenty of TVs to watch sports and enjoy a good beer. Will happily return!
google avatar

Mandy D.

Yelp
Fun outdoor patio with live music and food trucks. I liked the lager and my husband liked the coconut pineapple beer. Very reasonably priced and kid and dog friendly too!
google avatar

Jerome C.

Yelp
Great spot. Quality all the way. I wish I could find Up,Up and Away IPA at more locations. Please start selling in in Northeast PA.
google avatar

Joe S.

Yelp
Not an easy to get to location but the beer is VG, the staff very nice and the venue has a cool vibe - DEFINITELY worth the visit! You can also meet their cat!

Yelp
We initially discovered 2SP in our attempts to follow Mom-Mom's Pierogi food truck wherever they went --- but what a great discovery it was! This place is kind of hidden with minimal signage at the roadside. On our first visit, I'm pretty sure we drove straight past it --- it's located in a big corporate stripmall that looks like it has no business serving beer. GoogleMaps will get you there, but when it says to randomly turn off into a strange complex when you're ETA is under 1 min, I promise it's not trying to mislead you. Plenty of parking, because there's really nothing else nearby... Inside, you have your choice of sitting at the bar vs at one of their larger tables. There's usually several TVs showing whatever sports game is happening at the time. Most of the time we've found seating without any issue, though when we recently arrived around 6:30 PM on a Friday, we did have to hang on a bench for a bit before seating opened up. Their beer menu is extensive and has something for absolutely anyone. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but even I had several beers I was excited to try. There's 6 or so "all weather beers" that are available in any season, and probably 12-15 "seasonal" beers that rotate throughout the year. Most recently, I tried the "Fuzzy Math" --- their sour featuring multiple types of berries, which was awesome. I also enjoyed the Coconut Plunge (crisp, cool, with surprisingly strong coconut flavor) and the Patina (a light Saison). BF ordered the Solera Double Oak, which was aged in bourbon barrels and almost tasted more like liquor than beer --- in a good way. They don't serve food, but most weekend days, there's a food truck there and you can check the schedule on their website. I believe they also let you bring in your own food, but I've always been there on food truck days.

Yelp
Great local brewery with a very good lineup, last I checked. I love supporting local brewers and hope you try them so they can expand their offerings to include a juicy IPA.
google avatar

Mariah S.

Yelp
We loved the recipe collaborations and were ecstatic to try the sake lager. It's crisp, refreshing, and bright with that nuance of fermented rice. The DIPA was delightfully hoppy and hit the floral notes right away with a pleasant sweetness perfect for a hot summer day. Can't wait to come back and try the seasonal stout and saison in the winter time. I am eager to see if they come up with a Belgian tripel or a Hefeweizen in the future.
google avatar

Mandy G.

Yelp
Speaking as a non-beer consumer, this place is bizarre. However, if you looOoOoooOoooove beer, you'll probably like what they've got goin' on. For starters, this is in a corporate strip mall and does not look like a brewery or bar from the outside. You may wonder initially if you're in the right place, but rest assured, you are. When you walk inside there is a bar in front of you with some tables to the left and right. They don't really serve food here, but on certain days of the week they have food trucks outside so you can nosh. Yesterday there were no food trucks (they don't come on Sundays) so we stopped at 320 Market to get some salads to take to 2SP. Another couple that we were meeting opted to order delivery from a local joint. It was kind of weird bringing your own food, especially because they didn't have any trash cans and we kept having to give the bartender our trash to throw away. But, everyone I was with seemed to enjoy snacking on their food and sipping on beers.

Yelp
Great food and beer. The burgers and sandwhiches were tasty. Highly recommend! Nice staff too.
google avatar

Greg K.

Yelp
Very cool place with unique way of serving flights. Bartenders are very friendly and helpful. The customers seem to be the very friendly type. I would Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool place to grab some brews. They have chips but no food. Come check it out!!

Yelp
One of my fave spots - a gem in Aston. The beers are fantastic and plentiful, and the service is great. They take the time to talk you through the beers and what to expect, and they never treat you like a simpleton. Great food truck selection, and a nice spacious bar area. The back brewery area is also used for fundraisers, and is expansive and wonderful. Love this place and can't wait to go back. Awesome!
google avatar

Ciara G.

Yelp
Every single beer we had was 100. Something for everyones beer taste for sure. Act Brut Franklin Oyster Stout Baby Bob Up and Out Beertender Service was on point. Eats by Watt Cooks food truck made for the perfect snacks. A super chill place to enjoy some great beers.
google avatar

Matthew B.

Yelp
Beer fans- make the trip. It's worth it. Large selection of well crafted and tasty beers. I love the weather flight, and the ability to craft your own flights with 5oz pours. Solid selection that crosses the spectrum from malty to hoppy, light to dark, wit to ale. The Italiano roast pork food truck outside is a nice touch. Worth the trip folks.
google avatar

Charles D.

Yelp
Always a great place but today with the temp out side of 54 degrees and inside ceiling fans and door open. Was warmer outside then inside! Servers and customers were all wearing coats! Not sure why this was done????
google avatar

Jackie M.

Yelp
Solid brewery with a wide selection of beer (even some GABF award winners!). The biggest thing lacking is the food. You may hate on vegetarians but I still like beer. You send a strong message when the only food options are for meat eaters. It's tough to try beers when you don't have anything to soak it up with. I'd give this place a 5 if it wasn't for the food situation. The beers themselves are outstanding, my favorite being Antonym while I was there. I am definitely excited for my next change to stop by.

Joey B.

Yelp
This place rules. Food and beers are quality, service has been consistently on top of things.
google avatar

Jeff Y.

Yelp
When I first pulled up to the location, I thought I put the wrong place into the GPS. Located in a commercial office park is this pretty awesome brewery. The selections are great and the service is also fantastic. Make sure to greet the brewery cat, but don't expect it to acknowledge you.

Kelly B.

Yelp
New outdoor patio in the parking lot is nice Open in the age of COVID, being safe Beer was solid Had a food truck which was pretty good
google avatar

Bob B.

Yelp
Excellent beer through full lineup. No food, just snacks but don't let that stop you from visiting. Very economical takeaway beer in cans, bottles and refillable vessels.

Liana B.

Yelp
good beer good food trucks visit helpful knowledgable staff fun place to stop after your work day or after weekend errands.

Steve J.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere, great beers! Definitely will be visiting again soon. Hoping to try some more ipas in the future
google avatar

Yelp
I only popped into this place but loved it. 1. It's hard to find. It's on your left as a you come around the corner/over the hill. The entrance a little farther down on your left into a big complex type thing with not much signage. 2. Lots of delicious beers on tap! 3. Super friendly people! 4. Food truck is often outside. 5. There's a cat.
google avatar

Yelp
Visited 2SP for the first time tonight, and we were both delighted by the venue, the service, and most importantly, the Pilsner and Baby Kerri (barrel-aged)! We'd been tasting 2SP on tap at bars throughout Center City and were excited to visit their tasting room in the suburbs. The atmosphere was mild, which we appreciate in comparison to the bars we visit in our own neighborhood, Fishtown. Thanks for the lovely experience!

Eric P.

Yelp
A fun place to visit. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. And love the Taco food truck.
google avatar

Caitlin H.

Yelp
We live in Media and love having 2SP nearby. My go-to is the saison, but they always have a bunch of new rotating drafts in addition to their staples when you go. Lots to choose from and all really great quality. Its great to see their beers popping up in more and more restaurants and bars too! Located in an industrial complex (nice and open, not an old creepy one don't worry), its got ample parking and room inside. No real outdoor seating though. Really cool to see the brewing operation while you're there. They also have darts, which I'm always happy to find. They have chips, cheeseboards, and paninis in house, but you can bring food with you or get delivery from local places. They also have food trucks during happy hour/dinner time. Great place to hang out and spend some time with friends. I know there's a ton of breweries opening around the area now but this place is the real deal!
google avatar

Vinny P.

Yelp
It's hard to keep track of all the breweries popping up these days and I consider that a good problem to have. As a beer enthusiast, I'm always looking for new places to ingest some suds. When a friend in Delco talked my ear off about 2SP, I jumped on the regional rail and made a visit. The brewery is housed in a complex with other office type buildings, the one story kind that occupy lots of land area. The parking lot is in front and it's got plenty of available spaces. When you walk in the front door, you are presented with the bar which has about 15 seats. The drafts are on the wall behind the bar and the bartender who served us couldn't have been nicer. We also grabbed the brewers cheese board which was lovely to snack on. Delicious beer and no bs. I'm sold
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Great beer selection for true beer lovers. Love the "Delco"-Ness of this whole place. Yes that's a thing. Good IPAs , a very nice Lager, a couple good Saisons. Didn't try the food but there are sandwiches and snacks here. Needs something for atmosphere. It's just dead. Get a bar game like shuffleboard or darts or jenga or something. The place is good but really had no juice going. It was just a bit dead even with 20 or so people in it.

Paul C.

Yelp
Love 2sp brewery. Its a great place to grab a beer and watch a game. Everyone is so friendly. Love the staff. Jill and Magen are always very nice. The beer is fantastic. A few days aweek there are food trucks outside serving up some good eats. Will keep going back. The Curleys
google avatar

ED W.

Yelp
Cool Place. Beer was Bang on. Delco Lager was excellent. Too many US craft brewers make their Lagers way too Hoppy. 2SPs was nice and malty. Their English Bitter was also excellent. The Stout was incredible.
google avatar

Jack B.

Yelp
Had an excellent American IPA at Rehoboth Crust and Craft. Look forward to additional brews and locations down state

Yelp
Went in on the day that Fran had a 99th Bday party, awesome. way to spend it Fran! TR, it was crowded, but it made us get to know several people there standing at the big round table, sardine style. I texted a buddy that lives near there, he came over and we spent several hours, was around there after a tournament that was in the area, live @1 hour away, well worth the trip, staff was all real good, and not one had the " I see you but I don't see you, so I don't have to wait on you" shtick. real easy to find place, maps app took me right to them, liked the cat as well,, meow. Food truck had some good eats, stopped before we came there, so didn't get anything from them... saw Big Bob working on a Saturday night there as well, kegs were like bowling pins for him....top notch all around experience!
google avatar

Johnny C.

Yelp
Glad this is my local brewery. They've got a good variety of beer, as well as events and food trucks coming through to keep things interesting.
google avatar

Chad B.

Yelp
Had a great time celebrating a birthday and enjoying the up & out IPA. Also had the opportunity to meet their mascot "cross eyed kitty" who is actually cross eyed. Turns out they named a batch of beer after her. Was disappointed that they didn't honor my 2SP membership card :-(. Apparently it's only honored at the restaurants?
google avatar

Ryan K.

Yelp
15-20 beers on tap everyday and a mix of food trucks Thursday-Saturday. Staff is always friendly and so are the locals that frequently visit the tasting room. Overall a great experience & great beer brewed by Bob & Ruby
google avatar

Yelp
My husband and I went into 2SP as part of our PA brewery tour for our third anniversary. This was one of our favorite spots!! We spent a day driving down to Dogfish Head and found this brewery on the way back. We had such a fun time!! We sat next to a great couple that we chatted with while we drank our flights. The girl behind the bar (and I forgot her name... I'm so sorry!!) was friendly and helpful. We had so much fun here! The beer was delicious! We loved the Bell Cracker DIPA, the Cold Cock EIPA and the Russian Imperial! If we make it back to the area, we will definitely make it a point to stop here again!!
google avatar

Natale D.

Yelp
A local brewery specializing in craft beer. Whether you looking to grab a quick beer after work or spend a Saturday at the brewery, 2SP is the place to go. Friendly staff, great beer and oh there's a brewery cat! There's no kitchen at the brewery so make sure you check out their Facebook page to see what food truck is there. Food trucks are typically onsite Thursday through Sunday. Typically different food trucks are on sight each week with some local trucks repeating. There is not a happy hour but they do offer discounted beers during. Some sporting events.

Victoria Y.

Yelp
Had my 50th birthday celebration there. Fantastic place to have a party; held in the brewery! Tons of space. Jill the tasting room manager was so helpful and handled things perfectly! Katlyn & Ryan our FABULOUS servers for the night handled the crowd of 60 with smiles on their faces, so gracious, and speedy! We were able to set up early afternoon and when the party started at 6 everything was just perfect! Best tasting beers!! Go and check out the tasting room, you won't be disappointed!!!
google avatar

Genevieve B.

Yelp
I don't even know where to start. I'll start with the Patina. That is a great beer. Next, I hosted my 25th class reunion at the brewery this past weekend and it was a perfect venue for an event. I worked with Jill for the past few months and you couldn't ask for anyone more responsive and attentive to every last detail of the event - from start to finish. If you ask me - the beer (Bob Barrar is a god) and Jill are the magic behind 2SP. The two servers we had dedicated to our event were attentive and friendly. I hope to have an opportunity to hold another event there again soon, but if not I'm definitely going back for the beer soon. Like real soon - the Thanksgiving growler sale is coming up on Wed! Huge thanks to 2SP and Jill especially for making our event one that we will remember forever #JillRocks.

Tom T.

Yelp
An impressive selection of beers on tap. I like the fact there is a good mixture of high and low abv beers. There are so many styles of beer you can really find the one you like. I had the English bitter and the delco lager. The delco lager is one of their flagships. It is for a reason. This Amber lager is malty and refreshing. The staff is super helpful and friendly.
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
Love the beer!! One of my favorite breweries. Usually have 18-20 beers on tap, all their own. Bartenders are awesome!! They have food trucks Thursday thru Saturday. Limited food other days but you can bring your own food or have food delivered.

April Q.

Yelp
This place doesn't let you choose what beers to sample in a flight. A flight consists only of their "house beers." So if you want to try anything from the other 2/3 of the menu, you have to buy it by the glass. Real dumb. We walked in excited to try a flight of darks based on what we saw on their online menu and were really disappointed to learn all but one were not on the "house beers" list. So we just left. ‍ Heading to a different local brewery now. Fingers crossed they have normal flights.

Steven G.

Yelp
Wow The beer is amazing Brewer from Iron Hill is making his mark again Especially the DIPA!! However the horrendous service outweighs the awesome beer! Poor service can & will kill a business. The indifferent bearded hipster acts as if it's an inconvenience to serve you a beer -- just rude and obnoxious. Actually witnessed him yell at a guy because he was unsure of the growler he wanted. Two girls are equally rude with no enthusiasm or passion to serve. Think one was named Jill and the other one was bigger. Wonder why the tip jar is so low -- should be no surprises there. Hoping management is reading these -- and they make a staffing change en masse! I love the beer but I can get good beer anywhere -- patrons come back (or not) based on the service and the experience.

Yelp
I have NEVER given a brewery 5, and there is only one reason i did not and that's the bathrooms.. I did not come for food so there limited selection of grub (cheese/meat board, pork sandwich &ham sandwich)didn't faze me. There beer is delicious everything from the bitter, imperial stout, tripel, citrus rhined and they all have their own character. They dont do flights but will give u an 8oz pour of anything. Ambiance is very chill industrial like feel. As for the bathrooms, the toilet seat had "debris" on it and the back of the toilet and shelf was very dusty and dirty, trash can full and we were the first customers of the day getting here 5min. After they opened. Bartenders attentative and personable.
google avatar

Filomena R.

Yelp
Good beer, no great beer! A clean an kitschy atmosphere but, it's not a restaurant. They do have a couple of panini available each day but nothing more in the way of food. Go thirsty and bring your growlers but not hangry.

Richard K.

Yelp
Went on a weekend evening, 5:00pm, was told 20 minute wait = no problem. One hour later I questioned the manager, he said 15 minuets = no problem. 45 minuets later I brought the attention to the manager that here were a family of 5 or six taking up two long tables toward the front & at one of the tables the kids were playing in the ice bucket. He refused to clear the one table and offered no help. WALKED OUT & will remind others
