3 Ducks Boutique Hostel & Bar

We stayed at the 3 Ducks hostel for 3 nights, and it was lovely. The staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean, the AC worked well and the bed was comfortable (albeit very squeaky, it was hard to keep quiet for our bunkmates). The neighborhood has a nice cafe (Good News Coffee), a couple of grocery stores and some shops, and it was a 30 second walk to the Metro. We highly recommend 3 Ducks if you're looking for an affordable place to stay in expensive Paris!

My friends and I really enjoyed our experience at 3 Ducks. The service was very friendly and helpful and we felt well-accommodated. Very close to the metro which was handy, but a further walk from the Eiffel Tower that was made out on online. It was a bit noisy with the church bells and the bar inside the hostel, but overall we had a very nice experience.

I loved this hostel so much!! Every single employee was so so kind and made you feel so comfortable! The vibes were awesome, with a very cool bar that had a fun happy hour from 4-8pm everyday. Their courtyard was amazing and so super cool! Hostel was very clean, and everyone was nice who was in and out while my friends were there. My four friends and I stayed here and as young females, our main priority is safety! This was the perfect location for feeling safe and we absolutely were so excited to get back to the hostel and hang out when we were done with our day. I miss the staff honestly. It was the best. 10/10 would go back.

Staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. Loud bar area and the sound travels as the rooms are just above the alfresco area. Blue lights in the bathroom make the room feel dingy although I understand why they’ve installed them. No shelf in the shower which makes using bars of soap very inconvenient. Kitchen is tiny and has very poor ventilation system but is equipped with a microwave, stovetop, and kettle. The common area is by the bar which feels less like a hostel lounge and more like a night out. Good if that’s your vibe but not conducive to easily meeting people who are also travelling, in my opinion, as there are people from outside the hostel as well. Beds are relatively comfortable although there are no curtains so the light from phone screens at night is disturbing. No shelf space by the beds but there is a light and charging ports. Light from the bar comes through the window on the door, which the blinds don’t cover and it’s surprisingly bright. The room was cutely decorated and included small, secure lockers and a table and chairs, which I used quite a bit. A good location with supermarkets and a metro stop a few minutes away.

My relatives and I stayed there for three nights. We must say the warm, kind, and gentle service from the staff especially from a world citizen Bartholomeu, who has got a bright smille, and possess kindness to a fine touch, and Leandro, all very friendly, and professionals. I am not surprised, but I just would like to contribute to the cleaness standard improvement. Attention to the detail, cob webs from the ceiling, up to the stairs, toilets walls, shower drains should be kept away from hairs, stains, and strong odors. Beds really quirky, though cleaned. A bit of noise from the bar spreads over the other facilities. For my point of view from a short trip budget like mine it was great. Could it be improved to a better level without any extra financial cost to the Hostel.

Location isnt really central. It's close to a metro stop but was quite a faff or 40min walk minimum to visit anywhere. Rooms aren't great, beds are super rickety and creeky. Quite exposed as no curtains. Lockers only really small enough to hold your passport and a few personal items. There are metal staircases inside the rooms in two levels with only one toilet. Quite hard to get any undisturbed sleep all in all. Not really any social vibes either. Locals tend to populate the bar... Some strange man tried to hit on me just walking through to get to my room.

The best place to stay in Paris. The best attention at all times, the most modern rooms. Super recommended place for travelers! And super close to the metro that takes you around the city

Been to this hostel before so i was excited to come to it again I would say it is an average hostel but the people that work there are exceptional! I had a dude who checked me in and out and gave me recommendations he was polish and the nicest guy. I am sad i forgot his name he is amazing! Now the good and bad about the hostel: Good The workers The room is big Don't have to make or take apart bed Big comforter and pillow Comfy bed The toilet and shower rooms are big The shower is clean and good looking The breakfast is small but not terrible Good part of paris with great great food and markets nearby and a pretty flower shop next door Close to the metro Bad The top bunk is scary and rickety hard to get up and down i almost fell so i begged for the bottom bunk when a girl left and that was way better Small stairs up to my room that was scary
