Detractors: Service was very slow. The server took a very long time with everything (including the check and even running the payment), making our stay very long. Not the place for dinner if you have any plans after. With 2 minutes left in the game, the bartender changed the channel. He put it back on at the request of a lot of annoyed patrons. If you want to watch a game, this is not the bar to go to. The Parmesan risotto wasn't very good at all. We had to ask the bar for the missing silverware and we never got napkins. Overpriced cheap wine. Positives: the place is clean and modern. Great atmosphere. Good for families. They have a kids menu. TVs in the bar area. Plenty of off-street parking. Nice food presentation. They give you very good bread to start. The braised short ribs is a better dish on their menu. Average portion sizes, but the appetisers are a good size. All in all, if you have a whole evening to do nothing, you can spend it here. Just make sure you make a reservation.

3 Restaurant is my new favorite brunch spot. Kerry-Lynn and her trainee did a fabulous job waiting on us this past Sunday. The attention to detail and attentiveness didn't go unnoticed. I was a huge fan of the Pickle Bloody Mary. Everything from the Buffalo Cauliflower to the two brunch entrees we're delicious and seasoned to perfection. I'm glad we took the half-hour jaunt to try this place out. Look forward to visiting again for brunch and try dinner!

I recently went here to catch up with my two girlfriends and we had a blast. We spent hours chatting, catching up while eating delicious appetizers and great drinks. Our waitress was so patient as one of my friends spilled her drink and she simply moved our table. 5/5.. delicious food, lots of parking , great staff. We will be back.

3 is a great place to go for dinner. I felt the atmosphere a little dark for lunch. My daughter and her husband have been to 3 several times and enjoy it. My first visit was a disappointment. I should have asked for no spice in my Cobb wrap, but didn't think it necessary. It was hot. My husband gave up his burger and ate my wrap, agreeing it was too hot. The burger was average. My fault, but why make a Cobb wrap hot?

was a beautiful day outside and their outside area was jamming. A bar, bar seats, hightop tables and dining tables. The area looked lovely. Inside was nice. A nice bar area, dining room chic and lots of seating. Atmosphere seemed upbeat. They have brunch on Sundays. Monday is 1/2 priced app's and a burger and kids eat free on Sundays. Thur menus are solid great choices. We started with stuffed mushrooms and their pulled chicken and corn nachos. We were blown away! We had Short Ribs, a Filet and their Scallops and Risotto. Our meals were absolutely delicious. Presentation was wonderful. Their kitchen is a scratch kitchen so everything is made to order and homemade. The service was okay,could’ve been better Definitely recommend checking out.

The service and food has never disappointed. All the dishes we have tried so far have been fresh and well cooked. Their bar drinks are also great. Tried the red sangria and spicy watermelonrita. My son had the kids menu and even that is refreshing. It’s an upscale dining experience and well worth for our town of Franklin.

The food was wonderful. When I eat out, I like to order things that I wouldn't make myself at home... and the complexity of their salmon dish fit the bill. The sweet, smoky flavor, mustardy goodness isn't something I've found done as well anywhere else. And the fish itself was cooked perfectly. They paired the fish with the heartiness of the harvest grain side dish you see pictured. It was a huge serving, and I ate the whole thing because it was amaaaazing. My waitress was lovely and efficient, and I also didn't feel rushed. What made it a four star experience rather than 5 stars for me was the ambiance. The music was horrible--like 1980's big hair band type music. It was such a bizarre contrast to the rest of the upscale ambiance, which looked & felt more like a steakhouse. To my chagrin, it wasn't just one "off" song either...the awful selections kept coming throughout the meal. The music gave it more of a dive bar vibe, and it was so completely offputting that I left sooner than I otherwise would have. It honestly gives me pause when I think about coming again. And that's a real shame because I'd like to bring others here to share the amazing eats. I may try it again on another day. But if the music is the same, I'll be walking right back out the door.

While our first visit was a miss, our second visit was SO much better. Their steak tips and pasta are winners in my opinion. They need to keep working on their salads. The place is very welcoming with great staff. There's just something about the decor that feels a bit off to me. But - it's hands down the best choice in a few square miles in this area.

Good service from entering and being seated till leaving. Everyone was pleasant , food was good, big portions. Nice atmosphere, not loud.

The four of us went there on Thanksgiving for their Buffet. It was excellent. So many things to choose from! I use a walker so my sister went up and shows for me and everything she brought back was absolutely exceptional!! Great service and great food!!

Re-visited this restaurant in the past summer for a girls' dinner and had a great time in their outdoor patio area (later had to move in due to rain). Very friendly service, great atmosphere, decent food. Solid choice for the area.

This was our first visit to 3 Restaurant while visiting our daughter in Franklin, Massachusetts. The large restaurant features a full bar and ample seating. The food quality is excellent, and the menu offers an extensive selection, from salads and soups to pastas, fish, burgers, and more. I began with the delicious clam chowder. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable, and the standalone restaurant has plenty of parking available.

The Thanksgiving dinner was horrible and was way over priced. Turkey was tough, roast beef chewy and tasted funny, even mashed potatoes were clumpy. So disappointed after a good experience last year. We won't do that again!

Very good food! Excellent service. Ambience isn't nice but gets very noisy in the dining room in the evening.

I ordered pan seared scallops with risotto. Just horrible ! 5 small scallops on rice. This was not risotto. It was more like minute rice w/ mushrooms and peppers. It was dry and bland. For $34 other than a few scallops the rice got tossed. Don't waste your money.

We went for a goodbye lunch for a colleague. I have never been before and man I can't wait to go back. There is plenty of of parking so no worries about that. There was a large group of us but the server had no problem making sure our waters and drinks were full and everyone was happy. This is a huge place with a huge menu. You can sit at the bar and enjoy a burger or sit at a table and enjoy a fancy dinner. There is something for everyone They started us off with some really good bread and oil to dip in. For my lunch I had a French dip that was out of this world. It's a great place and I highly recommend it. I will be back for sure.

We recently had dinner at 3 restaurant in Franklin. We thought the entrees were excellent, however; the service had a couple of bumps in it, the server was in a hurry most of the time, and just doing the basics with service, dropping off items as needed. My wife had accidentally spilled a glass of wine, which I thought should have been refilled. When the check came, it was literally dropped off at the table and the server walked onto to the next table, and no thank you. I just thought the service experience should have been more engaging.

We have been there twice recently and enjoyed it very much. Great service and food. Lucas is excellent.

You call and schedule your appointment days in advance, at 7:30p.m. You arrive at the scheduled time, and your reservation isn't available. 38minutes have already passed. Your night, which was supposed to be a special Friday, ends up being a disaster.

The food was delicious. Our server, Sophie, was attentive, well informed and paid attention to every detail. Will be back for sure, worth the 30 minute drive!

A fantastic place to eat on the patio. Servers and hoses are great. You can split meals without a charge. The chicken parmesan was exceptionally good. Five stars all the way around

Issues This restaurant is good, just not very good. The atmosphere and food are more in line with what I would consider good bar food. I've been there three times, and noticed that thee was a general inconsistency in the food and the service. Once it was really good, the other time about average, and the other time less than average. But for a neighborhood restaurant and bar, there isn't any reason not to go. Tip: Don't try to sit at the bar as the same regular crowd seems to overtake the area and sit and drink cheap bottles of beer when there are customers "us" that are there to spend real money and the staff just didn't care. Tell these cheap jabroni's to sit away from the bar if they're just drinking. Thanks

This place has the best patio around and is great in the summer! Great drinks and apps! The dinners are good but a little pricey.

We had dinner here for my mother in law's 70th birthday. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. Big menu with a lot of good choices.

Caribbean chicken tenders and the balsamic tomato and bread appetizer are the best. I like the mood lighting...Only giving 3 stars because it gets really crowded and loud on weekend nights so you kinda have to fight for a spot at the bar. Even if you get a table it's really loud and hard to have an actual conversation on Fri and Sat nights. Not a first date spot but maybe fine for families

First time here! Food was great. Ordered the street corn nachos, short rib dinner and chicken Milanese dinner. So good, recommend! Service was a little slow, but all in all we'd go back!

We celebrated my daughter's 32nd birthday with my other daughter and her husband. The four of us sat outside on the patio on a warm afternoon. We had cocktails and raw oysters before ordering our main meals, Haddock, Salmon, Shrimp, and Scallops. Everything was delicious. The waitress was very friendly and provided great service. The birthday girl was given a free dessert and the rest of us got Lemon Cake and Crème Brûlée. We had a great time and enjoyed everything. It was very expensive but worth it. I would definitely return and would dine inside next time. I recommend this restaurant.

okay, i went here a few days after my 21st birthday and for starters, when i ordered a drink & handed her my ID obviously she checked it and made jokes about the 'red flags it had' for being a fake?? its my 16 year old drivers license that is horizontal, sorry?? it was just dragged on a bit and i have anxiety so i personally didnt like the anecdote. the atmosphere inside is nice, dark, lots of tables & we arrived when it was busy, the rush left & it seemed we were one of the only few tables left. our waitress appeared sparsely, but she was friendly, i do recommend the tuna tar tar, very fresh and fun plating. now to set the scene my favorite comfort food is anything BLT, so of course i frequently order things with those ingredients, their chicken avocado blt wrap was just not good. all i could taste was burnt char on the chicken in literally every bite, they forgot the chipotle ranch sauce and menus were taken so i couldnt remember if there was supposed to be sauce on it or if i had just made that up in my mind. but its like even the bacon wasnt salty.. and i tried to enjoy it for its refreshing tomatos and avocado but the burnt taste was over powering. i should have said something but i didnt because i was unsure if i was just overreacting but i ended up not eating it or taking it home ‍ really simple meal, i'm hoping i just got a bad one and its not supposed to taste like that! otherwise their mojito, tuna tartar and shrimp scampi ravioli were very good !

My girlfriend and I sat for 25 minutes without being serviced; didn't even get out waters. The waitress seemed overwhelmed by the crowd which seems like the business couldn't handle. No shame on the waitress, but shame on the business for not handling the volume of patrons.

First time at 3 Restaurant. The serving sizes were huge and 3 out of 7 of had take home boxes. I gad Chicken Parm and it was delicious, large and thinner, but tasted great. The server was nice, could have been a little more attentive to refilling drinks. Prices are post Covid expensive. But so is everywhere else. Everyone enjoyed it and would go back.

Ordered Togo this Saturday night. Website said 30 min until ready. 12 minutes later I got a text saying it was ready. Great. So now it'll be 15 min colder when I arrive. Got in my car and headed out. When I arrived hostess checked in closet and said it was NOT ready. I let her know I got a text saying it was ready and she assured me it'll be a few more. Hmmm. After another 10 min I asked her to check again and she went to the kitchen and came back empty handed. Double hmmmm. Then went back into the closet and came out with it. Guess she missed it the first time. Didn't apologize for missing it or anything. Wonderful. So now the hot food was EXTRA cold and the tuna tartare in the order was extra warm. Just a very unprofessional experience all around. Wake up please.

Wow! 3 has really stepped up their game with a huge wine menu and a bigger better outside patio which includes a bar with seating. Long overdue if you have a have been a regular for years. Yes 3 has been around well over 16 years with great service and a well thought out menu. A stepped up dining oasis in a area overrun with fast food burger and pizza shops. The delicious appetizers that made them popular are still here like my Thai Chicken skewers. Tender skewers season with herbs and a flavorful peanut dipping sauce. As usual delicious. Just one annoyance. Just because they have a out patio lounge area, don't show up looking like you just got up from a towel at the beach! My. goodness.

Sat outside last night and got the Haddock. It was exceptionally good. Really extraordinary. And no bee problem in the outside seating area! :)

I'm from Manhattan and I moved temporarily to Franklin to live with family so I thought I would never find good food especially having a wheat allergy. 3 restaurant is AMAZING! It would do very well even in midtown. I'm really happy with the service and quality. The Mediterranean haddock was amazing good and the gluten free bread tasted like real bread. This place is wonderful and I highly recommend it!

Once a quarter, my team meets to go out for dinners and drinks and this was the choice for Q3. I've lived in the area since I was a kid and I honestly always passed this restaurant and never went in. It has darker windows out front so I actually always thought it was closed...I was clearly wrong and I'm so glad I got the chance to try this place! First off, this place has an amazing out door patio setup. I forgot to grab a photo but it has umbrellas, patio sectionals, tables, propane heaters for the chillier nights and a shipping container converted into a bar! It has such a nice, relaxing feeling to it and I'm sad I didn't visit during the summer, but with the heaters I'll definitely try to be back before it gets too cold. We ended up getting a bunch of starters while we had our own little cocktail hours which included spring rolls, calamari, chips and the buffalo cauliflower. My favorite were definitely the spring rolls and the calamari, but all of it was delicious and gone very quickly. My cocktail of choice was a yummy Pink Grapefruit-Tini. It was delicious and strong without being over the top. And the bartender gave the shaker with it and there was another half a drink in it every time! For dinner I got the corn chowder starter (special that evening) and then I asked the waiter to choose either the Steak Tips or the Milanese. He ended up picking the Steak Tips and it was amazing! I also got the asparagus instead of green beans and they were delicious. I rarely get steak tips, but my coworker also said they were amazing, so I'm glad I took a chance because *chefs kiss* delicious. Last but not least was dessert! And yes, my stomach was hurting by this point but dessert is my friend and I can't leave them out. I ended up getting the Chocolate Cake special and yeah..keeping with the trendy. Delicious. Yeah...I'll definitely be back! Also, special thanks to the waiter we had! I never caught his name sadly but he was absolutely amazing. Super friendly, kind and just an overall joy.

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of this restaurant. Judging from the outside. Quality is top-notch with a really nice romantic setting and a variety of items on the menu. It feels more like a high end Boston restaurant than one in a small town. Prices are reasonable so you don't need special occasion to visit

We encountered less than professional attitude from the staff behind the bar. Never acceptable.. My friend and I grown, sophisticated adults. Voicing my great disappointment in staff the next day, a friend said she too will never be back due to the attitude and service received in past year. Food being mediorcre, why bother with this place.

Very disappointed AGAIN. We had several really good dining experiences and left positive 5 star reviews, but the last Two prior times we went there over the last year, always something off or out of specials ... decided to give them a third chance, FAIL. Slow service this time, never got our salad, didn't see our server for over 20 minutes after asking another server to track her down. Food never delivered, the food that did come ended up being cold. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. Three strikes and you are out. A real shame, used to love "Sky" that was owned by them, always good food and service and they closed it down.

What an incredible dining experience! Our server, Nina went above and beyond! She learned it was a special occasion we were celebrating and even took the time to learn our names at the table and make us all feel like family. The atmosphere of the restaurant was stunning and the food did not disappoint. It was all devoured before photos could be taken, but we enjoyed the chips and dip, thai chicken skewers and Italian eggrolls for apps - wow. The Thai chicken skewers were a table favorite but they were all 5/5. The eggrolls were a big appetizer though, so they're great to share but can be filling. A few different main courses were eaten around the table, all with great reviews; I had the harvest salad. It was perfect and light. The pears were super interesting too!! Overall a great dining experience, I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

Their food is amazing. My personal favorite is the Caribbean chicken tenders. The prices are higher than average but you get what you pay for. The environment is calm and relaxing. Every time I have been the service has been phenomenal. Highly recommend:)

Recently visited 3 and dined outside at a bistro table in their beautiful patio space. But that was about all the good they had going for them. There menu is quite frankly lame given the prices and "upscale" branding. Started off with Buffalo Cauliflower which was very tasty but portion for the cost was a disappointment. I then ordered one of their signature cocktails which stated it was made with Jim beam whiskey. The server asked which type of rum I would like with it. I don't think he understands how the cocktails are made. Then we ordered our entrees, a burger with fries and fish tacos. The server asked if we would like the FISH tacos made with chicken or shrimp. I literally couldn't make this up !! We asked to clarify that the FISH tacos aren't made with FISH and he doubled down stating they do chicken or shrimp. We decided that wasn't for us and ordered a salmon burger instead. The burgers were forgetful. Over cooked, not juicy, not well seasoned. And the fries, they were so dried out they tasted like veggie straws. This was the second time we've dined in and also ordered take out once. If we didn't have a gift card I wouldn't go back. Maybe I can trade it with one of these many reviews that things 3 serves exceptional food and service.

The vibe is chic. We sat outside and they offer "lounge" or table seating. The lounge option is low chairs around fire pits so not really conducive to having a meal. The service was sub par. It took 8-10 min for someone to come to our table. He took our drink order and then came back 10 minutes later bc he couldn't remember what my date ordered. When we did get them, the drinks were delish (raspberry mojito and peach bourbon lemonade), so kudos to the bartender. My date's food (pesto gnocchi special) was delicious but mine (shrimp scampi ravioli) was overcooked. There were 7-8 good size ravioli but the pasta was mushy. We were looking for Parmesan cheese but our waiter didn't return until we were done. Moral of the story....chill place to get drinks but wouldn't necessarily recommend dinner (at least outside)

Always good food , drinks and service. They offer good gluten free options which is sometimes hard to find.

Terrible experience with being rushed out - despite only being there for 60 minutes and spending over 200 dollars. Followed up with manager. He was so apologetic. Insisted on sending a gift card as an apology. Guess what? No gift card. Was telling my daughter about this and guess what - same issue. She did not bother to follow up with manager My suggestion is to read the reviews and make sure you don't dawdle over an hour.

I just held a memorial service at 3 Restaurant (on fairly short notice) -- They were so incredibly helpful! The room was lovely, the food was excellent, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and generally fabulous! I highly recommend 3 for an event. While I'm sure they'll do a great job with a rehearsal dinner or baby shower, I was so impressed by how they simplified my life at a difficult time.

Ordered through door dash and got a Caesar salad and steak tips. Tips are always good, the Caesar however was reaallllyyy small for $12.00. I was thinking my fiancé and I could split the two and make a full meal but the salad was really for like one person as a small app. Kind of disappointing for such a high price.
