The Nine Most Anticipated Atlanta Restaurant Openings For Summer 2021 | Eater Atlanta

"Named for British painter Lucian Freud, this Buckhead wine cafe and bookstore at 3005 Peachtree Road (projected to open in June) is owned by sommelier Jordan Smelt and former Cover Books owner Katie Barringer; I learned it will specialize in books on art, design, food, and culture and carry nearly 250 wines by the bottle and 15 wines by the glass, and that chef Brian Hendrickson will lead a kitchen serving wine-friendly food throughout the day with larger, shareable dishes at dinner that pair easily with a mostly European-leaning wine list." - Beth McKibben

My recent stay at 3005 Buckhead was nothing less than amazing. The staff was accommodating and check-in was very straightforward. The location & renovations of the property easily call for 5/5 star review. This a great option for people visiting or wanting to lease in Buckhead. I can confidently say I will be booking another reservation at this location again.

Living at Cortland Buckhead Apartments has been an incredible experience! The management team treated me with the utmost care and professionalism from day one. The amenities are top-notch, and my apartment came with an amazing view that I absolutely love. Everyone here has been so welcoming, making it feel like home right away. The location couldn’t be better—walking distance to the Shops of Buckhead, fantastic restaurants, and lively bars. Truly, it’s the best choice I could have made for an apartment in

Recently toured property and absolutely loved the amenities. Building was very clean. Decor was inviting. The leasing staff was very knowledgeable and made the tour very pleasant. This property is definitely a top contender in my journey. I’d like to give a big thanks to Katt ! She was wonderful.

Moved out 8/24/2025, and to this day 10/21/2025 we have yet to receive our deposit back….We left the apartment impeccable and the management is so unprofessional. Sent an email to follow up on 9/22 and “Vanessa Stepney” replied on the following day that she is “awaiting confirmation from the site then she can close this out for us.” Haven’t heard anything since almost a month later. Moving out of this building was the best decision we ever made. From the murders to the random AIRBNB guests that as residents we were never notified about this place is a mess. They never pick up the phone, and if you’re lucky and they do, they’re rude and not helpful. Spent almost a MONTH without AC during the summer after waiting weeks of them running random tests and for the contractor to come they just switched out a part with another units…Do yourself a favor and literally live anywhere else. You’re overpaying for the elevators to always be down, gross pool and the lobby always smells like trash!

We toured this building today and the amenities blew us away! The pictures simply don’t do any justice and the sauna/cold plunge were game changers. We had the pleasure to tour with Katheryn - She was incredibly welcoming and truly made the experience fun and enjoyable. Looking forward to calling Buckhead home in the next few weeks!

I toured the Buckhead Village community last week and was impressed by the overall experience. The staff members in the leasing office were welcoming and displayed a high level of professionalism, taking the time to address all of my inquiries thoroughly. The unit I examined was clean, modern, and featured an excellent layout. I particularly appreciated the abundant natural lighting and the contemporary appliances. The amenities also stood out; the gym was well-maintained. Furthermore, parking facilities seemed adequate, and the neighborhood displayed a great deal of walkability. Dolce and Shae, thank you again

From the second I moved in, it just felt like home. The apartment is super clean, has great natural light, and everything feels modern and well taken care of. The layout is really functional plenty of space without feeling too big or too cramped. Catherine and Shay are so awesome and dependable. They made the process so smooth and easy and got me a great deal.

This property started off great but everything that has been said about management is TRUE and trust you better listen. Do not move here. The lack of professionalism and accountability from the thousands of management companies that have taken over this building is astounding. The elevators don’t work it’s a fire hazard. They refuse to fix the trash issue throughout the building creating gnats and unpleasant smells. No air ion the halls. The elevators do not works. They will demand rent but will not address any issues. Did I mention the elevators don’t work? They lie every week on when they will be fixed and they’ve been put off and on since November 2024. I could go on for days…just don’t do it
