Chicago expats baking proper deep dish and cracker-thin pies in Germantown using family recipes. Loved for generous portions, sports-friendly vibes, and consistently hearty slices.

Went to Chicago last month. Have had constant cravings since!! We had the mushrooms for starters. Fresh and nicely battered. My wife is a huge mushroom fan and loved them. Served with homemade ranch. I had to have a the beef sandwich. Sweet, Hot and dipped! Pilled high with meat. Served traditionally with fries. Also had to have the deep dish. I had pepperoni and my wife had cheese. We loved it! From the sauce to the crust. We had the single slices and they were great. I know a whole pie would be amazing!

Monday August fourth My arrival time was 2:35 PM. Place my order within 10 minutes after arriving T.K. was my favorite server for this visit. She was friendly. She was warm/kind and she was pretty hot to be a young Lady/girl, now here it is this 312 authentic Chicago pizza company is one of the best.If not the best but I do love marcos. The atmosphere was wonderful. The TV's was on different channels to view. I ordered my salad and my deep dish pizza T.K. told me it would be 45 minutes and I said that's the time that uou have to wait for perfection and when it came it was perfection. With her service, my drink didn't reach half filled. She was on her game today, how was meeting with my daughters boyfriend? He finally came and experienced this great pizza place for the very first time.He loved it therefore, 312 pizza company.I shall return and if uou decide to go please ask for T.K. great service friendly young lady and be kind and tip cause my people don't tip or not much as I do frfr go have a good time at three twelve pizza company fourth avenue and monroe street Cashville 10-a-key.

Google
Some of the best Chicago pizza outside of Chicago land. It’s a neighborhood joint that was lifted out of Chicago and dropped into Germantown. Our server was a total, sweetheart, which always adds a nice element to the experience. Hot tip… onion rings! which are not what you would expect to be a go to at a pizza joint, but a total winner.

Tonight! If you’ve ever dreamed of a dinner experience that doubles as a fasting retreat, this is your spot. I came for vegetarian pizza and left with a deeper spiritual practice in patience… and apparently a side of meat I never ordered. My drink? A surprise too — because who doesn’t love a mystery beverage? 1 1/2hours later, my food finally arrived, and by then, I’d aged enough to remember the “good old days” when restaurants got orders right. Five stars for teaching me life is full of unexpected disappointments, zero stars for actual food Got drink order wrong even though I corrected her several times.

Google
The pizza was okay, not comparable to our favorite spots in Nashville. We couldn’t order their specialty deep dish due to its one-hour wait, and the restaurant was extremely cold. My partner enjoyed their deep-fried mushrooms and stout beer. Service was good and attentive.

Google
Great Chicago pizza. Loved the Reggie fries and mushrooms too. Drove to Nashville from Columbia just to give it a try. So worth it.

Favorite pizza in Nashville! Don't sleep on the Italian beef sandwich. Perhaps the best I have ever had!

Google
The deep dish pizza was great. It was very filling so that I ate it for lunch and dinner. Service staff was very forthcoming and welcoming. I will definitely stop by here again during my next visit. Great vegan options as well.

Yelp
Chicago inspired deep dish was a tasty change from the typical boring pizza in and around Nashville, with great quality toppings, and awesome service. My wife and i ordered pretzels with beer cheese and a deep dish all meat pie. Overall an enjoyable experience with good quality food. However, true Chicagoan's will be quick to note the crust is a denser version than your traditional deep dish. So if you are expecting Malnati's or Giodarno's this is as close as you will get in Nashville, but this is not Chicago. Definitely recommend. Oh....be realistic on wait times......this isnt your 7 min oven time thin pie....it is DEEP DISH be real folks. Plan accordingly!!!!

Yelp
I was really looking forward to their combo beef and Italian sausage sandwich, however, it never made it to our table. After placing our order, my wife's slice arrived in about 10 minutes, and then after 40 minutes the manager finally approached to apologize for my sandwich having not arrived, and it would be sometime before they could deliver one. Apparently, apparently the kitchen staff was at a loss as to how to make one. I said we would cut bait and leave, and asked her for the check. To her credit, she comped my wife's pizza slice, her beer, and my soda. We then walked a block down the street to Little Hats, and I had a very wonderful sandwich.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. It's a family owned restaurant and we love to support local and so should you. Anytime we're in Nashville we have to stop by here. I maintain that it is the best deep dish pizza you'll have outside of Chicago. Be forewarned, the monsters of pizzas take a while to cook so call ahead and preorder if you don't want to drink beers and eat appetizers for 45 min.

Yelp
I love Chicago deep dish pizza, but often can't rally a group of friends all at the same time to split a pie. I just found out they also sell by the slice and was able to enjoy a pepperoni slice all to my self. I sat at the bar, and enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere, as they were packed on a weekday for trivia night. Service was nice, not super attentive, but that makes sense as they were very busy!

Yelp
Originally from chicago so I had to try this place with my family. Best chicago style pizza! The deep dish is amazing even compared to the resturaunts in Chicago known for their deep dish. We also got a cheese thin crust pizza and an Italian beef. Both delicous the Italian beef had so much flavor!!! The sauce on the pizza was also soo dleicous. The place is covered in chicago memorabilia and the service is great as well!

Yelp
Best deep dish I've had in Nashville. The tavern style is good too! Sauce was great. My wive was "obsessed" with the fried mushrooms and is ready to go back for more. This bar has so much potential for a fan favorite neighborhood sports bar. I'd love to see more Chicago beers on draft (though I fully appreciate the draft list incorporating almost all local beer!). I love the vibe, just need a little more energy. Our server was friendly and helpful!

Yelp
1) if you want to do it right, order ahead. One of the deep dish bad boys takes 45 minutes to make it to table, but well worth it. Sauce is savory, not sweet, dough/crust is porous, (texture-wise) like a dense, heavy cornbread with some chewiness. 2) Appetizer to enjoy while waiting? The 'shrooms are fantastic- everything you'd expect, but with something slightly sweet and garlicky, briefly, on the first of the bite. Ponderous and delicious all the same time. Service is exceptional; mom and pop (as opposed to 'family owned and operated' because the woman who owned the joint came out and asked how we found the food...damned right!) joint, with all the good that comes with it. Great interior, spacious and unpretentious but not necessarily comfortable- it's a working class-down-to-the-seats kind of feel (I mean, why feel pampered when your about to gut-punch yourself with deep dish?). Complete airy, corner neighborhood bar feel, well, because that's exactly what it is.

Yelp
This gem of a restaurant is a MUST Visit while you are in Nashville. It is family owned and the ingredients are fresh with none of the yucky stuff! My husband loves Hotdogs so we ordered one as a appetizer while waiting for our pizza ( cause that is what people that grew up in Chicago do ) happy to report the Wrigley Dog was delish & just like you will find in Chicago! We also ordered a thin crust with Italian Sausage. It was Outstanding! The crust was crunchy & they give you a good amount of quality sausage. I am definitely going back to try the deep dish! The best thing about 312 Pizza Company is the staff. Shout out to Marc , Hannah & the owner. He truly cares about the quality of the food & it shows. He is personable & funny too. Lastly, I highly recommend asking fir the Chicago Handshake . Thanks 312 we will back to see y'all again & again! Cheers

Yelp
Great vibe. Delish authentic Chicago deep dish pizza. nice atmosphere and worth the wait. Trivia and great food/bevs. Will be back!

Yelp
Been a while guys but I'm back to update you on another great place In Nashville. 312 is perfect if you're a fan of Chicago style food. On this trip I had the deep dish pepperoni and some mozzarella sticks. For the record when you order the pizza they are cooked to order and it may take about 40 minutes. However, it's worth the wait so I grabbed me something to drink and got an app. The pizza was super good and met all my expectations. The sauce is perfect and it's totally enough to take home and finish at another time. The sticks were fire. Made in house and it hit the spot while I waited on the pizza. I'm rusty on these reviews but just trust me it's worth your time. Be safe and enjoy.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this for a while. We finally had an afternoon/evening to spend some time over a beer while they prepared our deep dish, Chicago Style Pizza. Oh man was that worth it. Got to spend some time talking to the owners and their toddler who was professionally working the crowd with high 5's and fist bumps. I found out that everything is grandma's recipe that she still cooks regularly for the family. Mom and grandma finally got brought down to Tennessee about 3 years ago but the restaurant has been going strong for 10. Every day they shred their own cheese. Make the sauce from scratch and make probably the best pizza crust i've ever had. it's buttery and crunchy with just a hint of yeasty. Out of this world good. We brought half a pie home and it reheated beautifully. This kicks the places in Chicago in the Butkus.

Yelp
I have been craving a deep dish Chicago-style pizza since our last visit to Chicago in 2019 & this hit the spot! Super fresh, made to order, humongous deep dish pizza with sausage, pepperoni, italian beef, & bacon. We ordered a side of the Reggie fries as well but honestly was way too much food for 2 people. Street parking is difficult but we decided just to pay to park in the lot down the street. Typical bar ambiance with super friendly & attentive staff. FYI they quote about a 45 minute wait for the deep dish pizzas (I'm not surprised because of how big they are), but ours came out probably closer to 25-30 minutes. Highly recommended for deep dish pizzas! Follow the foodiegram @jason.chews!

Yelp
If you like deep dish, give this place a try. You do have to wait about 45 after placing an order, but it's worth the wait! Great pizza!

Yelp
Had a rough first experience at 312 last night. I went with two friends who love this place (said it's their favorite in town) and suggested we go on the early side of dinner in hopes of getting quick service. We were seated at about 6:35, got a round of beers before 7, and decided to order the dough nuggets when the server told us it could be up to 75 minutes for our pizza to come out. We decided we were in it for the long haul. Unfortunately, the pizza that came to us after about an hour wasn't the deep dish we'd ordered. We let the server know and he took it back to the kitchen. We proceeded to wait ANOTHER near hour for the pizza we ordered. We got a second round of drinks while we waited and made do. We didn't get our pizza until 8:40 and we didn't get any apology or acknowledgement of the mix-up, which felt pretty crappy. I'd be willing to give three stars despite the service snafu if the food had really wowed me but it was a serious letdown. The dough nuggets were totally flavorless and the marinara with them totally bland; I only ate them because of the absolutely interminable wait for our pizza. The pizza was pretty good--the sausage on the supreme style got was notably flavorful--but not worth the two hour wait. The toppings were good but the crust wasn't as flavorful as I would hope for a style of pizza that features a LOT of it. I thought maybe this was an off night since my friends had been singing its praises, but it looks like poor service is a frequent issue. To add insult to injury, the bill was $115 by the time we added tip. I don't mind paying for great food or a premium experience but this was neither. I won't bother going again.

Yelp
The restaurant is fairly small with only street parking and has a casual sports bar vibe. It seems like carry-out orders are most of their business which is understandable given a wait time of an hour to an hour and a half for a deep dish pizza. Thankfully, the waitress warned us of the wait time so we knew what to expect. We ordered a chicago hot dog while we waited and it was great! Our waitress was attentive and kept us updated on the timing of our pizza. The deep dish pizza we ordered was delicious but we learned our lesson and realized a slice or two is plenty for two people.

Jordan G.

Yelp
Stellar ambiance, such fun decorations, plus awesome games offered on the menu. We came at a busy time on a Sunday night and were still waiting on delightfully by the servers. As for the food--yum! The Chicago pizza is so good (the cheese pull on the slice was 10/10). Cannot wait to come back and highly recommend!

Victoria H.

Yelp
Our first time there and it was fantastic! Wonderful atmosphere. Amazing food. Jax and all the staff made it even better. Thanks for a great experience

Lisa S.

Yelp
Very attentive & friendly service from Charles B. tonight! Pizza was loaded with flavor, as always.
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
As a non Chicago native I won't try to decide whether or not 312 pizza company tastes just like a Chicago slice, but I will say that it's very yummy! We went on St. Patrick's day and enjoyed the spirited vibe and green beer. My vegetarian boyfriend is always happy to see Be-Hive local vegan pepperoni on a menu. The deep dish crust was a good deal tougher than I was expecting, but overall it was a very good pizza.
google avatar

Adam P.

Yelp
It was a pleasure dining here. The pizza was so good! Comparable to ACTUAL CHICAGO PIZZA! We got the Sausage Deep dish, Onion rings, and Reggie fries! It was so good. Our waiter, Luis, was great. Highly recommend.

B B.

Yelp
Excellent food. Great vibe. Family owned. Service was excellent and friendly. Wednesday is trivia night! Had a blast with the kids. 10/10 will be returning!
google avatar

Jamie P.

Yelp
It's clear they take the extra step to procure quality ingredients and make many things in house. I wanted to love it but everything was just sort of, ok. The pretzels weren't very "pretzely" tasting, as we prefer. The beer cheese it comes with fell a little flat. The pizza dough (presumably the same dough as the pretzels) has a slight sweetness to it that neither of us preferred. Mushrooms were great because they weren't your run of the mill deep fried balls that explode with lava water, but as with everything else, the shrooms along with the ranch just fell a little short.

Yelp
Authentic and delicious Chicago-styled pizza in Nashville, TN? You heard me! 312 Pizza Company makes it the full experience from the decor they have up on the walls to the amazing food. We tried the thin crust as well as the deep dish and they were both SO delicious. It would be hard to rank them, but if I had to I would say the deep dish took first place. The spinach and mushroom deep dish pizza was absolutely incredible. The only thing to note when trying this amazing pizza option is that it takes about an hour for the pizza to come out. We didn't mind and enjoyed the time together. However, it's something to take note of in case you don't have that kind of time. We'll definitely be back and hope to see you there!
google avatar

Sean S.

Yelp
If you're in the Nashville area and looking for some authentic Chicago-styled pizza, then 312 Pizza Co. is the place for you. When we first entered the building, we were immediately greeted and seated. The pizza was absolutely amazing. We ordered a thin crust pizza and as well as a deep dish and they were both incredibly delicious. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars would be because it does take about an hour for the pizza to be done and our waitress didn't seem that happy/excited to be working there. However, all together it was a great experience. If you're not in a hurry and don't mind the wait time and want to enjoy some delicious pizza, definitely try 312 Pizza Co.

Yelp
Very tasty deep dish. We were worried @ not being a 5 star. A must visit!! Loved it!!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious Chicago style pizza. We ordered online and picked it up and it was ready on time and the person was friendly.
google avatar

Araceli R.

Yelp
Great deep dish pizza and ambiance! They are super friendly and the food is really good! Prepare to wait a while as everything is made fresh to order but the wait is worth it!

John P.

Yelp
Our second visit in a couple of weeks. Deep dish pizza is great! Our server, Jax, was friendly and prompt, checking to see if we needed refills, etc. will definitely eat here again when we pass through town.
google avatar

Laura W.

Yelp
Incredibly delicious pizza! I tried several types, each of them superb. My favorite was the deep dish! Perfection! Cannot wait to go back with my husband!

Sunny K.

Yelp
Came in for my second time. Tried deep dish slice first time, and thin crust this time. I liked the thin slice better but to each his own. Had same server both times. Attentive but not overbearing. I was doing some work both times and she left me enough time between checking on me so I could be productive. Several other patrons there but pretty chill atmosphere in early afternoon. Bonus - it happened to be happy hour (starts at 2) and got free street parking nearby!
google avatar

Dennis E.

Yelp
it's frustrating, because when this place is good, it's 5 stars.. but then other times it's disappointing. The lack of consistency is what gives it 3 stars. Even the service at times is hit or miss. This place could be one of the greats if they just find their groove, stick with it, and drive a culture of excellence.

Andrew W.

Yelp
I was born and raised in the Chicago burbs, moved to Nashville two years ago. This place has the best, sauciest thin crust pizza that I've tried outside of Chicagoland. I've been looking for good thin crust in Middle Tennessee since I moved here, and now I've found it. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're originally from the Chicago area and disappointed with pizza in the South. Service is great too, Alexander is the man!
google avatar

Leah D.

Yelp
Really, really yummy food! We tried the Chicago style pizza and two different gluten free thin crust pizzas. I think some people don't like Chicago style pizza and give this place a bad review, but everything we had was fire! The pretzel sticks and cheese was probably my favorite thing on the menu. You can order just a slice of pizza too. The staff were friendly and I liked how chill the vibe was in the restaurant. We will be back soon!

Cheryl S.

Yelp
Shout out to this place! Owner originally from Wrigleyville, has definitely brought the Chicago style pizza down with her. We had the deep dish pizza and it did not disappoint. Thanks for the fun hospitality from the folks almost at the bottom of your map!
google avatar

Kelly G.

Yelp
Grew up on the South Side - this place is legit. Italian Beef (wet of course) is awesome. Good bun and great hot peppers. Thin crust pizza - in squares (true Chicago style) perfect. Sweet sauce and right amount of cheese. Also great easy going space. We'll be back!!
google avatar

Sami N.

Yelp
The cauliflower crust pizza was really good, but the service was super slow and they weren't busy. I understand the pizza may take awhile but shouldn't have to wait as long as we did for drinks.
google avatar

Glen K.

Yelp
Being from Chicago and quite biased, let's just say it's not Lou's. The thin crust is pretty good though.

Malek M.

Yelp
Loved the food and the staff were super friendly. Ordered the mozzarella sticks and a deep dish pizza to go. I do recommend getting there early though because I've never not seen it busy.
google avatar

Asia A.

Yelp
Good food, great drinks and service, great location (free street parking), and nice decor. I'll be back for sure!
google avatar

Gracey M.

Yelp
amazing service everytime. the pizza has not only a. great under carriage but also a great cheese pull. very accommodating and polite. if 312 was competing they'd be #1!
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
I am from Chicago and the deep dish pizza here is better than some of the pizza in Chicago. It is definitely the best deep dish in Nashville. I got the State Street Spinach. I also got the thin crust. I was not as impressed with that one as I was with the deep dish but it was pretty good. I also loved the way the restaurant looked inside. The service wasn't bad either. I will absolutely be coming here again the next time I miss Chicago and it's pizza!

Bradford H.

Yelp
The pizza was so fresh and amazing. Would also highly recommend the mozzarella sticks...they were the best I've ever had. One of the owners came up to our table at the end of our meal and chatted with us. Definitely a must if you are looking for good pizza in music city.

Yelp
Only reason im giving a 2 star instead of 1 is because their deep dish was pretty good last time i had it. But this time... i ordered 2 italian beefs to go. Im a native chicagoan... this sandwich sucked. Very hard to eat, especially for my wife because she asked for the juice on the side and they didnt even include that, so hers was extremely dry, and im pretty sure my bread was stale. The fries were literal noodles. Old, soggy, rubbery and overcooked. Their ketchup is extremely odd, tastes like they made it out of koolaid or something. Now... heres the biggest reason im leaving this review.... This was a to-go order.... And they charged me an automatic 10% gratuity!! And... didnt tell me they were doing that. I found it hidden in the receipt after i paid over the phone. Pretty sure thats probably illegal... So id like a response or i may have to report this. As a chicagoan i was excited i had 312 in the area, and had the pizza 3 times. But this surprise to-go gratuity crap rubbed me the wrong way. Depending on their response will determine whether i remain a customer or not

Yelp
Very tasty Chicago Deep Dish pizza. I'm from Chicago and I can say this place is authentic. Offering Vienna Beef Hot Dogs, Italian Beef and Sausage sandwiches, tavern thin pizza and of course Deep Dish pizza and other Chicago fare. We only had the Deep Dish Cheese & Sausage pizza which was very good and worth the wait. Pizza sauce is a bit on the sweet side. Con: They only have street parking which can be a pain in the Germantown area. Although we found a spot a block away. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. They have lots of Chicago paraphernalia throughout the restaurant which makes this Chicago boy feel like he was back home. And I love the name of the place! (312 is the original Chicagoland area code).
google avatar

Kelly M.

Yelp
Not our favorite, but that is simply based on personal preference. Perhaps we are just not fans of Chicago style pizza. It does take quite some time to get food, so don't be in a hurry. The service was fine. They were fairly crowded for lunch, but it wasn't overly loud. There is definitely a "pizza place" vibe and fun atmosphere.

Kurt C.

Yelp
Delicious Chicago style pizza with quality ingredients. This is a rare gem, a family owned joint that takes pride in what theyre doing. Definitely will be back!
google avatar

Sara O.

Yelp
Came to this authentic Chicago style deep dish pizza spot while I was visiting from California. I loved the pizza and beer. You definitely need to be patient as the pizza is made fresh to order. Don't rush the artists at work. I waited about 45 mins while I drank a beer and worked on my laptop. The service was great and the workers were welcoming when I asked questions. They have vegan cheese for my dairy free friends. What would have made this a better experience for me would be to have some hot sauce, but that's a personal preference. :)

J B.

Yelp
Awesome experience! Had the best Margaritas while I waited on my pizza to be prepared. Luckily, it was also a staff persons birthday and she chose to share her cake with the patrons in the bar. Alexander was amazing host while not only singing Happy Birthday but ensuring all the customers were taken care of. Definitely my new Monday hang out! Alexander thanks for everything! Yelp
We are originally from the Chicago area and have been looking for good pizza since landing in Nashville. Alexander (owner) was beyond hospitable. Pizza was so good. We've found our favorite pizza now and love the Germantown location. They have beefs and Chicago style hot dogs as well and use only the best ingredients. Pretty much everything is made from scratch. Highly recommend.
