316 Oyster Bar

Upon arrival, the atmosphere was very chill, and the staff was friendly.The roasted Parmesan oysters are to die for. Carter was our server and he was so easy-going, informative, and overall a great vibe. I am still talking about these oysters from last night and they are closed on Sundays and Monday and I can’t wait for Tuesday. They are so good, Fresh, and Flavorful #chefskiss. We were so full and happy we left our bag and got back right before closing to pick it up. Those oysters will have you in a tizzy. Thank you to the manager and to Carter, Carter will be back next week in your section. Take a friend, take your mom, Take your auntie, take your neighbor, Just take somebody and go get those oysters And ask for Carters section. I’m so ecstatic over these oysters. You do not understand. Just get them.

Immediately when we sat at the bar, the bar tenders were personable and tentative. Travis talked us through our drink and food options, to make sure we found something we'd like. The food was excellent and so were our drinks. Next time I visit Fayetteville, I will DEFINITELY be back!

We've been here many times, and we're never disappointed. I did notice the flounder is much smaller than it used to be and so were the raw oysters. The bar area is where we always sit for faster service. This is our favorite seafood restaurant in the area.

Our food was phenomenal and the service was even better. The atmosphere was a piece of paradise. Our family will definitely be back!

I give it 10/10 to the Hush puppies . The crab legs were also delicious, the corn cooked to perfection. And the waitress was super friendly and attentive to all our needs. The truth is, if you're looking for seafood, this is the place to find it. I think it's delicious. I just think the place needs a little more maintenance the seats feel worn. The atmosphere and ambiance feels good But I do think it needs a little more attention to attract new customers.

Went for dinner for the first time Thursday night and both food and service were great! The steam pot was definitely worth the $$ and the alligator bites & popcorn shrimp apps were amazing as well! Will be returning to this establishment everytime we’re in the mood for good seafood!

Can’t believe there’s an oyster bar in Fayetteville!! Fresh food and outstanding customer service! Comes with hush puppies and they are the best I’ve ever had. The ribeye needs work, but it is a seafood restaurant. I did the oyster challenge and got a shirt. I will regret that tomorrow. Oysters and seafood are fresh!! Restaurant cleanliness is a 10!!! Highly recommended!!

This is a wonderful restaurant and bar. Gabby was amazing on her knowledge and drink choices. Very friendly and right prices. Nice parking and inside is spacious. Try to get there before 5:00 to feel the full space and enjoyment as the seats are filled quickly towards the evening. This place is worth more than 5 ⭐️. Thank you Gabby for being such a wonderful waitress!❤️🙄

First place we went in Fayetteville. After a day of unpacking I was so happy with my oyster shooter! Service and ambiance were perfect. Deviled crab, fried fish and shrimp... Felt like I was in Calabash! Go! Amazing!

Yay - still a good place to go to!! I haven't been here in over 10 years & was nervous that it had deteriorated over time, but I was absolutely wrong. In fact, I don't think anything has changed at all & that's a good thing. Party of 10 - everyone enjoyed their meals. Of course, hush puppies were spot on. I had the grilled scallops - they were perfect. This is the South: expect a lot of fried options. Raq was our server - fantastic job!!! Absolutely only complaint: we made a reservation for 10 over a week in advance; we were placed at two tables that were placed together instead of three....we were VERY tightly squished together (with a large plant behind that was so close the waitstaff had to squeeze between chairs & trees). Only when we complained did the staff extend the tables (we didn't know there were hinged extensions - I wouldn't have extended them on my own anyways - can't possibly be sanitary & we were often warned they could pinch). Even with extensions, we were shoulder-to-shoulder w/ no place to really put our purses. Not really acceptable- if you place this type of reservation, be sure to ask how they'll accommodate. So glad to see the continued success!! We'll be back.

Husband was celebrating his Birthday, and we were seeing a play near here. I had wanted to check them out for a while, as I had heard great things. We were greeted and seated right away, and our super friendly server came by for drink orders and to drop a basket of hushpuppies. They were a nice little nibble. I ordered a peachy tini, it was very sweet. We next went for some appetizers. The parmesan roasted oysters were really good but maybe had too much cheese, if that's possible. I also had a cup of the clam chowder, which was decent but nothing to sneeze home about. For entree, I did the pick two combo and chose the flounder and upgrade to sea scallops, prepared blackened. My sides were a baked potato and the vegetable of the day, broccoli and cauliflower with cheese. The meal was good, things were cooked well and the blacken seasoning was nice without being too overwhelming. I wish I had known the cheese on the veggies was going to be the whiz kind instead of actual cheese, I may have chosen differently, and I didn't think that the upcharge was warranted for the scallops, as it made them a dollar a piece. Husband ordered a steak at a seafood restaurant, and his sides were a potato and fries. I don't know what to do with him sometimes. He did enjoy his meal though so good for him!! Overall, it was a good meal, but not the best meal. Our server was great, the atmosphere is great, I might return.

Very cute place. No wait time even though the place was packed. The staff was nice and very helpful and funny too. The food and drinks were good as well. The menu has a some great selections and there a huge mirror to the right for an epic pic.

Amazing food and service with Trevor and Rox in the back bar! They were quick with drinks and good conversation. .Birthday shots all around! Let's go Libras!!! Dim lights sets a pleasant mood and fun atmosphere... as long as you are not shy and willing to socialize.

Home (NC), I will always love you. NC will always fry it better, just my opinion. This spot is GOOD! Came here on a busy night. The wait time was minimal and there's lots of space. The staff were amazing, friendly, fast and very attentive to details. I'm not a bread person but hush puppies w/ honey butter.... Yes please and can we have more is what you will say. Starters the Jalapeño shrimp(a popper with a twist), Oyster Rockefeller (you will order more) and Steam shrimp (why not). For my main course go for the Combo three (shrimp, tilapia and scallops). You will have plenty of food. Overall this place is a must go to if you're in town.

overcooked the most expensive market price fish they had on the menu. Inside was great for about 3 bites. rest overcooked. disappointing.

A nice seafood spot to have in town! We love oysters but thought our move here would take us away from good quality. We were wrong! It's a nice place for a date night and our server was very friendly.

Steamed and raw oysters. Crab cakes, shrimp, fish. Lots of seafood options. I'm not sure what the bread is that they put on the table, but it's addictive and delicious. Wine, beer, cocktails. I had there one draft IPA that maybe local. My one dislike-if you can call it that--was I couldn't find the beer list. The food and service was great. We got there around 6 and it was just filling up. There were a few large meet ups and everyone looked like they were having a nice time. Lots of parking. Good atmosphere.

Last time we we were in here may dad and I did the rooster challenge and got the T-shirt. We passed on that tonight but still had a great time and the food was delicious. Started with hush puppies and some chowder. Both were really good. Hush puppies are incredible. Hard not to keep eating those things! It is a seafood spot so I settled on blackened tilapia with some rice pilaf. Really good. The flavors of the blackened seasoning were really nice. Rice cooked perfectly. Deb had surf and turf. Lobster and steak spot on and delicious. Patrick was awesome on service and the cocktails from Shirley (or mom) at the bar were amazing. Special orders were no problem with this team. Definitely recommend for a nice meal at reasonable prices. Had really bad lighting for pictures but I still attached a few.

Atmosphere was fun, service was spot on, but the fried seafood was lacking. I would try it again for a fresh fish dish.

I've always loved this place. Food is hot and fresh and it's tastefully decorated. I look forward to going back.

Nice atmosphere decent food. We went on a Friday night. It was busy but we were seated quickly and received fast service. Staff was friendly. I wasn't impressed with the seating. I sat at a connected booth and felt every movement from the adjoining booth. The food came out quickly and looked appealing. I enjoyed the scallops, they were lightly seasoned and cooked until firm but not chewy. My flounder on the other hand was very bland the only thing I could taste on it was the spilt oyster juice that was all over my plate. The edges were over cooked and dried out as well. My husband got Pot #1 he seamed to enjoy most of it.

All of us were very happy with our delicious meals for my daughter's birthday celebration last night. She loved her scallops. My teen granddaughter felt the same about her delicious shrimp alfredo. Another said his ribs were fantastic, with the meat falling off just like they said it would. Cobb salad was a giant step above. My other daughter raved about her Alaskan King crab. I had the best popcorn shrimp, delicious ranch dressing on my great side salad, and the hush puppies were amazing with honey butter. Exceptional, attentive, and friendly service from Charlene. This was my first visit. Can't wait to return. THANK YOU 316 Oyster Bar!

I was so upset with the food the side salad was awful . The cucumber was old and discolored the lettuce was wilted . The shrimp dinner was over cooked . Ruined my birthday dinner. Service was great.

The oysters are a 10/10 and they are usually sourced from NC or VA. Honestly though, I keep coming back because the service is the best I've seen at an oyster bar on my life. The oyster bar guys are personable, friendly, and engaging. The inside of the place looks akin to that of a steakhouse, but don't get me wrong, the seafood is out of this world. Shoutout to Dusty, great oyster shucker.

The decor is a little dated, but the food is top notch. Steamer basket was great, the blackened salmon pasta was so good my friend had to push it away and put it in a box or she would have eaten all of it...and it was a lot! I think I want to try every dessert they have and I just never have enough room for them. Solid choice - this is a keeper.

Food was overpriced, service was kinda slow, and my food was messed up in the end. Decent boils, but not very well seasoned.

Needed a fish fix, this was a great choice. I had the grilled salmon. Side salad and baby carrots. Yum. The salmon grilled to perfection was a nice, plump 8 oz portion. The homemade blue cheese dressing was amazing as well, even though salad was tossed iceberg with a couple of cherry tomatoes. Their signature hush puppies are so tasty, almost made me forget I'm trying to eat healthier- less fried foods, but I needed something to dip into my extra blue cheese. Lol I'd plan to visit again for other dishes that piqued my interest. Service was spot on, kept my water glass full, without asking. Food arrived hot. Witnessed thorough cleaning of tables as they emptied.

We go to 316 for my birthday every year for the last 8 years. My husband treats me and 10-15 of my friends to a delicious time of food and fellowship. Absolutely every time we go the food and the experience is amazing!! I love 316 Oyster Bar!! I could go every day!!

Went for a group dinner this evening. The best part of the whole night - the service. Chantale, our waitress for the night was on her game! Aside from outstanding service, the beer selection is good and the food was awesome. My husband had the catfish and shrimp. I had the tilapia and deviled crab. The crab wasn't ready with my dinner so they put a side of shrimp on my plate, bonus! Hush puppies are served when you arrive, a great way to start a meal. This place is worth a try when in Fayetteville!

We have been here a few times now. I love the catfish. The shrimp is great and my husband likes the oysters. The crab legs are really good too. Everything we have had is delicious. The service is top notch. The waitstaff is friendly helpful, some of the best in town. They give you hush puppies to start and they are yummy. Great place for dinner with the family, date night or any occasion.

This place had the BEST hushpuppies I have ever had. Normally I dont eat white starches but after having one I couldn't stop. They were like mini donuts and cornbread all rolled into one! They also had a side crab cake appetizer that was tasty too and they had a solid baked potato. For the main course it was blackened flounder and blackened shrimp. Really liked the shrimp alot but was not overly impressed with the flounder which I didnt eat all of. I would go back but probably try the tilapia or maybe go all shrimp. The service was also impeccable since we sat at the counter. He made sure to check on us regularly and give some good suggestions for food which were all right. I will probably eat here again next time I am in town for work.

I came from Hawaii and move here in Fayetteville due to military. Since then, we been on a hunt for good restaurant. Many people rave about this place and so we made plan to finally try it out. We came here on a Wednesday night after Mother's Day. I don't remember if we had to make reservations. It was not busy, and our server greeted us few minutes after we sat down. I tried the oyster shooter as an appetizer. It was alright. I noticed most items in the menu are fried. I think I ordered the mix seafood entree. It tasted good. The portion was generous, I had to take some home. It is 3 stars because the seafood was cook mostly fried or steam. I was hoping there will be different items where seafood was cooked differently. The restaurant ambiance was alright. It is definitely not fine dining. More like your regular sit-down restaurant. They also did not have a big parking lot. The item prices were decent.

Where to start. . . well let's just get into it. We thought we maybe had a great waiter. Drinks stayed full and our entire order came out right. Everyone really loved all the food. From the apps to everyone's entrees. You can see by the pics.. But then came the bill.. the price was to be expected,but i just happened to notice 2 different #s which I thought was taxes at 1st then noticed he added gratuity ,that just pissed me off. I mind you we had a party of 5. No where I have ever eaten has added it so I decided to ask about it. 1st when asked the waiter said the computer does it on its own . Then I asked to see the manager he admitted that he added it himself.. which really pissed me off and screwed him self out of larger cash tip. I took it as he was trying to steal $ from me . The amount of money is not the point .Now did he judge a book my its cover bc we werent dressed the best or has he been stealing from every customer and I just happen of caught him ??? Just a tip check your check. . .

Delecious Food, Lovely employees. Even though we visited on Saturday, we were Sat in 25 Mins after arrival. And once food was ordered it came out fast and was hot and fresh. Id love to visit again if in the area.

Best oysters in town , drinks are very low on alcohol 1/2 water . Service is good . Next time I'll try the steamed oysters

Food was great service was better. Hushpuppies were perfect and sweet. Kaboom shrimp were lacking the boom but were good. Didn't have to wait and server never let our glasses get to the halfway mark before she brought another! Cool little vibe in this place. The Grinch was running around and was hilarious

Parm roasted oysters were delish! Also had catfish nuggets which were great as well as raw oysters and shrimp Cocktail. Food and service was great, will come back!

This is a family friendly restaurant with no fuss, as the food is the star. The food is always good and hot. They offer some very good menu items and have a nice selection of their own cocktails. The wait staff is professional and as attentive as they can be in a place that is usually quite busy. All-in-all it is a nice option if you're looking for a change from chain restaurants.

Amazing oysters! Restaurant has 2 big bar areas and tons of seating. Decent drinks and ok seafood broils.. would only come here for drinks, oysters and their hush puppies!

The calamari was fried perfect and delicious! I celebrated my birthday there and the service was great. The booths kind of give you a retro diner feel with the pictures of the seafood in blue lighting was a great touch.

The Oyster is definitely a great choice for Us. The food is great and the atmosphere and the staff are amazing and knowledgeable about the food and culture of Oyster. We enjoyed our time there and we will definitely be back

We have started coming back to 316 after Covid is now over. The food, timeliness and service was superb! Mostly the service (which seems to be lacking these days)! I wish that I could remember our servers name as he was exceptional. The food was great too! We were greeted and seated promptly, served soon after and then whatever we asked for and no matter how many times we asked every detail was attended to. Great experience!

Found this place while driving around looking for food. The customer service was great. We only had appetizers since it was late and we were tired from being on the road but they were all great! The drinks had a little more juice than I would like but they were cheap and cute.

This place is so good! This is the only place in Fayetteville I will go to for fresh oysters. I had one of those baby crabs in my oysters last time, so I knew it was fresh :) the staff is very friendly and it's a cute place to eat!! I took my mom here and we got like 5 things off the menu and it was all soo good. I'm ready for the fall so I can indulge on these oysters again!

Hello, I love 316 Oyster Bar and always have, the quality, the taste and the atmosphere! However, today I was horribly let down. I am an avid seafood foodie and I can tell if it isn't fresh. Frozen shrimp is the worst because it has such a weird, plastic and unappetizing smell, ESPECIALLY when quickly steamed. Also, not even a grain of seasoning! Why is a seafood restaurant only open for dinner using hard frozen shrimp akin to big chains like Walmart and etc??? For 36 dollars, I am livid at the quality of the seafood. I will be calling today as soon as they open to demand a refund as I didnt eat a bite of it, put it in a gladware container and taking it right back.

Our go to spot for seafood in Fayetteville! If you're up for a great experience sit at the oyster bar. The servers there will keep you entertained the entire time and are super attentive even as the shuck all the oysters for the restaurant. The steam pot is a great choice as are the Rooster Shooters for an appetizer

I visited 316 Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill with a book club & enjoyed the time I spent there this evening! The decor is fun & funky without being too kitsch. Our server, Nicolas, was friendly, attentive & accommodating without hovering. He kept our glasses full, took a group photo for us & even recommended a book series for us to check out!! I was a little torn on what to order, because all of the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked & smelled incredible!! Collectively, we ordered the fish tacos, the oysters Rockefeller, shrimp platter, shrimp boil & seafood dip. Everything was delicious & the portions were more than generous-- as much as we wanted to, I don't think any of us were able to finish our plates. I will definitely be visiting 316 Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill again & I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is craving a good time & delicious seafood!

Love this little seafood gem. Every time we go through or near Fayetteville we stop in. Love the complementary basket of hush puppies. Their seafood has always been wonderful. So glad we went a little out of our way to stop again this time.

Food was delicious. The service was superb, ask for Jade -she's awesome. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be returning.

First time dining here & I got calamari as an appetizer & the grilled salmon & shrimp with a lobster tail as my entree . Everything was really good & well seasoned. Have to give it another try just to make sure because I could have caught them on a good day. I really did enjoy my dinner & my date enjoyed his as well. He had filet mignon with a lobster tail. He love lobster & he real enjoyed his meal too. We definitely will be going back

Always good service and has great oysters on the half shell when available! You need to try one of the roster shots when you visit!

The best seafood in Fayetteville. The service at the oyster bar is always good and personable. The blackened tuna is exceptional and give the shrimp a try with extra old bay. Yummy.
