Google
If you're looking for one of the best tasting cold brew in town, this is it. Service was too notch and vibes were on point. Very cool hangout spot.

Google
I tried the Chai ice cream mixed with Biscoff the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The nitrogen gives it an incredibly smooth texture, and the flavor is perfectly balanced with the right amount of chai. However, I do have one complaint: their hours can be unreliable. Even though their Google listing says they’re open, I’ve found them closed several times when I’ve visited. This is particularly frustrating because I drive from Florida to Michigan for a week during Christmas break every year and always make a point to stop by. It’s disappointing to arrive and find them closed, especially since their mobile ordering system still works. Overall, the ice cream is extremely creamy and delicious, but I wish they’d improve their consistency with hours.

Google
I was coming for coffee and then oops lol got ice cream instead. Now whenever I pass by here I pull up to get ice cream. Ice cream texture is not as soft as "normal" ice cream since its frozen with nitrogen. But otherwise it taste great and I recommend. Berry ice cream is 🔥🔥🔥

Google
Super tasty ice cream made with liquid nitrogen. The ingredients were fresh, and each cup of ice cream is made right as you order it. Also the setting in the food hall was fun - great atmosphere and lots of options for dinner prior to the ice cream.

Chakri S.

Google
What can say I about this place that is a negative. Well, nothing comes to mind. Just had an awesome ice cream and coffee place and the flavors are ridiculously good. Come and try it yourself, I guarantee it.

JC

Google
-320° is amazing. This ice cream is beyond excellent. Their Affogato is one of the best food/drink items I've tried in Detroit, period. It's that good. You've got to get yourself one.

ES C.

Google
I ended up getting the chai tea ice cream(seen in picture). It tastes exactly like chai tea. The staff was knowledgeable. Ice cream super creamy. We will be going back again with friends.

Mike L.

Google
Went in shortly after they opened at 1600. Wanted to try the coffee. They said no drip in afternoon, but how about an Americano. Sounded good. They asked if I wanted any cream, I said yes but I want to put it in. I actually like to taste coffee. I even gave a tip before I got my drink. What did I get, a half espresso and half cream mess. They might have good coffee, I couldn't tell. I probably should've made him try again. Won't be going back.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. The barista was super nice and the space is cute and convenient for the area, but unfortunately, the coffee missed the mark. I ordered a brewed coffee with whole milk, vanilla, and candle syrup and I couldn't taste any of the syrups. It just tasted like plain coffee with milk, no flavor, no depth. I tried to fix it myself with creamer from the gas station because I didn't want to waste it, but for $4.25, I shouldn't have to doctor it up just to make it drinkable.

Yelp
Located on the second floor of the Detroit Shipping company! Needed a late night pick me up and found this coffee shop :) Ordered an espresso shot for my bf and I enjoyed an iced mocha with oat milk! The lady behind the counter was tidying up the place when I walked up and didn't see me right away but once she did was extremely kind and sweet and helpful about ordering and got my drinks done very speedy quick. Really enjoyed the richness of the mocha and this iced coffee went down like water, I chugged it because it tasted so good. Will definitely return here if I'm ever in the area again!:)

Keith R.

Yelp
Ongoing no operable bathroom...which is illegal. No bathroom, no stars. Breakfast was microwaved and like ten dollars.
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
My apologies for not taking pictures. I fully enjoyed the lavender latte with oat milk. The flavor was amazing. Then to my surprise I found out the owners make their own lavender syrup, which is also for sale. The avocado toast is some of the best I've had in Detroit. On top of the avocado was diced cucumbers, red onion, and tomatoes with a balsamic drizzled on top. Believe me I am working to duplicate the taste at home! I wish there were more affordable parking options or validated parking. This will make the trip even better when I'm just looking for a spot to relax for a short while. Take the time to stop in and try the lavender latte AND buy some syrup for home.

Yelp
Three flavors today for their nitro ice cream. Mint chocolate chip, strawberry basil and double stuffed chocolate Oreo. I was torn between the mint and the double chocolate Oreo. I picked the mint, since that's my usual preferred ice cream. We got the mint chocolate chip tastes like there's ground up fresh mint leaves ground up into the ice cream. It's not as you would expect it at all. I couldn't get myself to eat more than the small bite, it didn't sit well with me. We ended up getting the double stuffed chocolate Oreo instead. It was worlds better and so yummy. Lovely chocolateness. My other beef is their super cheap and flimsy spoon, what's up with giving out these malleable and pliable spoons. It's impossible to get any of the ice cream out. The spoon bends much too easily. Not to mention that the spoon doesn't even reach the bottom of the large coffee paper cup the ice cream is in even. We gave up and asked for a spoon at the NYC halal place. It worked so much better and the plastic doesn't bend either. It's much more enjoyable when you can spoon out more than a tiny bit of it at a time. It's a good ice overall cream, just needs a better medium to pick it up is all.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of nitro-ice creams in general. Because they're made to order they're SO creamy, since the churning and freezing process doesn't allow for ice crystals to form. Because of that, the -320 offerings are smooth and SO flavorful. I recently had the chocolate double stuff Oreo and OMG. Think cookies and cream with chocolate ice cream. So tasty. I also had a bite of the mint chocolate chip and you know they use real mint because it tastes like fresh mint plant, not an extract. Because it's not a hard freeze the ice cream does melt a little faster, but I'd be shocked if you took your time eating it. It's so good you'll want to chow down quickly!

Yelp
Nice chai latte, and the ice cream being made right in a mixer as you wait was very cool

Yelp
Tried this great little liquid nitrogen creamy tonight. It's a little pricey, $7.00 for Large, but at least it is actually large. Lol I ha the strawberry basil and my husband had the double stuffed chocolate Oreo. Both delicious and super creamy and great flavor!

Yelp
This place is inside the Detroit Shipping Company, which is an adorable "food cart" type of place, but inside a big shipping container building. They have a few restaurants and a place to get drinks. This creamery is just okay in my opinion. I don't care for ice cream that's served in styrofoam because it doesn't ever get a little melty (the way I prefer my ice cream.) Plus, b/c it's nitro, it's very cold and hard and quite difficult to eat with a plastic spoon due. The flavor is just okay also: the chocolate oreo wasn't very chocolaty; the oreos were so crushed that you didn't get much in the way of oreo-y either. The problem is that I have been to Go! Ice Cream in Ypsilanti - and THAT is legit ice cream. Ruins you for all other places.
google avatar

Francine W.

Yelp
Really really good ice cream. Very creamy and not hard as others said. Pistachio avocado was sooo good. I had Oreo and that was good as well but pistachio avocado was very unique
google avatar

Alex T.

Yelp
Their ice cream is superb! I'm a huge fan of liquid nitrogen frozen ice cream and this place does it right! Both times I've had the Double Stuffed Chocolate Oreo. A must-do dessert when you visit Detroit Shipping Co.
google avatar

Tamara Q.

Yelp
Best. Ice. Cream. In. Detroit. The only thing I'm sad about is that this isn't closer to my house! Delicious! You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Sampa M.

Yelp
This a cute little ice cream spot located inside Detroit shipping company on the second floor. I came here right smack in the middle of last winter. My friend and I decided what better way to celebrate the harsh Detroit winter than with a couple of frozen ice cream. We had two flavors in mind that we wanted to try so we got them both: avocado pistachio and hazelnut cocoa crisps. I loved them both because they were both ultra smooth with added textures of pistachio and cocoa crisp crunch in the two ice creams. I went back a couple of months later to try hazelnut cocoa crisp. I learned that they discontinued making both avocado pistachio as well as the hazelnut cocoa crisp because those two flavors that are difficult to make. So, I leave you with my next pick of flavor: strawberry basil ice cream. But honestly, hazelnut cocoa crisp is pretty unbeatable.
google avatar

Linda C.

Yelp
O.M.G. I've never had this type of ice cream and dare I say it's better than some of the gelato I've had?! Ordered the cold brew coffee flavor and I'm so sad this place doesn't have other locations (like Chicago please!).
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
Not a big ice cream eater, but damn this was great. It was my wife's birthday and she loves ice cream. Do we stopped in at the Detroit shipping building. What a great concept a food court in a shipping container. There is a few different food options but we came for ice cream. I had the strawberry basil and it knocked my socks off. This ice cream was very creamy with small chunks of strawberry and basil blended in. Then they put nitro to freeze the ice cream. The young lady behind the counter was awesome. She explained the process and was super friendly. (Just a note there is $10 parking fee for the Shipping co. lot. )

Yelp
After hearing about it for a while, I was excited to finally try nitrogen ice cream. Being in one of Detroit's newest food halls (Detroit Shipping Company), this seemed like the perfect place to try. I was most impressed by how creamy it was - this was definitely the highlight! I liked the chocolate flavor in the double stuffed Oreo. However, I was disappointed by the lack of Oreo flavor or chunks. While I appreciated the freshness of the mint chip, it was actually a bit too fresh for my taste, taking away from the indulgence of the ice cream. It was also a bummer that you're not able to try the flavors (as each serving is made fresh). Overall, it was a fun experience, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Yelp
After eating some very good ice cream and craving even more, I decided to give this spot a try. This place, like the other, is also located not too far off the main drag of Midtown. Unlike the last venue, this place is located inside this small indoor cluster of small venues that also shows sporting events...almost like a sports bar slash mini food court. So the ice cream place was located upstairs. I ordered double stuffed chocolate orea, and chai tea. The oreo ice cream was very tasty. It was on the sweet side for me but given how good it tasted it wasn't an issue and I could see myself eating it again. The chai tea was too sweet for me plus really didn't have anything else going for it. It wasn't bad but just didn't blow me away. Unfortunately they weren't able to split the flavors so I did have to pay for both separately. Not wanting to waste any ice cream, I requested smaller scoops in one cup. There was a miscommunication as I ended up getting two cups. However, kudos to the lady who served me as I first finished the oreo ice cream, then as I went back to my hostel to put the chai one away, I ended up eating that one too. So I got more bang for my buck, and more calories too but oh well.

Sylvia G.

Yelp
Best ice cream in the area. The avocado pistachio and white berry are to die for!! Great coffee too.
google avatar

Kathy J.

Yelp
There are so many reasons to love this place. First, it is packed away on the second floor inside the Detroit Shipping Company (pun intended). Second, the ice cream flavors are quite unique. Third, the service is great and they make the ice cream right in front of you after you order. Apparently they use liquid nitrogen to make the ice cream. I didn't realize this and missed the whole show. But that definitely explains why the ice cream is so creamy. I had a hard time deciding between the avocado pistachio and the hazelnut cocoa crisp. So, I recruited my friend Sampa to get one of these two so we could try both. The hazelnut cocoa crisp was sweeter and the crisps added a crunchy texture. The hazelnut was very rich in the best way possible. As for the avocado pistachio, you could taste both the avocado and pistachio perfectly. They created an unexpected balance, though I liked the avocado flavor so much that I would definitely go for just a solo avocado flavor as well. Although I wasn't able to try their coffee this time, I definitely will be coming back for that and to try some of the other flavors!

Yelp
Coffee & Hot Chocolate [5/5] The aesthetically pleasing coffee shop on the 2nd floor of shipyard is a hidden gem. I've been getting the -320 House Blend on my daily commute and love the deep yet well-balanced flavor. Any adventurous soul out there get a Dark Hot Chocolate (Hot chocolate with Dark chocolate chips). I wanted a sweet treat and the barista passionately created this delicious drink for me! (stir well for the chocolate to mix and thank me later) Service [5/5] From the initial greeting to order completion, I felt very welcomed. All the baristas there are social and spend time with every order! Location [5/5] This place is well designed and new! The shipyard is a cool hang out place with bars and food places. There are always things going on there.

Yelp
Had mint chocolate chip and they make it with nitrogen and it's probably one of the creamiest ice creams I have ever had. Wow! Good mint flavor. Not over powering either. (they've only been open 3 months) This place is cool though. They have places to eat inside, coffee, bar, ice cream etc and they have places all around to sit. Private, out in open. It's all shipping containers stacked in shape of a square and inside is all the seating and the businesses take up most of the containers. There is local artwork all over, games, etc. it's just a cool place. **** The only downfall and I'm not sure if the shipping company that houses all these businesses inside provides, but it's $10 to park. It would be nice to at least have the lot plowed and salted for the $10. Get rid of the paid parking.

Yelp
We were visiting the Detroit Shipping Company to eat at Brujo and wanted a hot drink to take on the road with us. Wandered upstairs to 320° to check out their menu and were wowed! Plenty of teas, coffees, and chai options- but our surprise was the ice cream! I went for the classic butter pecan ice cream and it was THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. We also got hot chai teas and the cinnamon and spices came through from the tea very nicely in the aromas and flavors. The two brothers who own this place are wonderful- personable and friendly with a smile on their faces as they work their magic behind the counter. It was so cool to watch them pour in the liquid nitrogen while they were making ice cream. Drop into Detroit Shipping Company and get your fill of food, drinks, and ice cream!

Yelp
When I walked in, I hear Bad and Bougie by Migos and it was packed. The bar and food is downstairs. There is a private events room. Then to the right is the coffee area. It is small so once you get your coffee you can walk around. There's about four TVS for the game. Honestly with all the rooms and little eating areas. It may be a great place for a private event. I ordered a double stuffed Oreo and a hot chai latte. The ice cream was definitely delicious but the chai latte was average. I wouldn't get that again. It's really difficult to find a plug, which is a disadvantage for a coffee shop. In addition, the WiFi kept going out.
google avatar

Skip B.

Yelp
Crazy fresh. So fresh. Real chopped mint leaves in the mint chocolate chip ice cream. Fresh strawberries and real chopped Basil in the strawberry basil ice cream. Cream. Amazing cream. The whole thing is kinda gimmicky with the liquid nitrogen and frozen fog. But that's how it is so fresh. Ice cream made on the spot. At that moment. So fresh. It is on the second floor inside the Detroit Shipping Co which is a co-op style group of eateries and bars made out of old shipping containers. The Covid rules are strict here. Strict to the point of being unfriendly. But whatever... neat place. Will be way better when the pandemic is over.
google avatar

Jon S.

Yelp
Double Chocolate Oreo. Nuff said. But seriously, after you are done enjoying the food stalls downstairs, head upstairs for some coffee or icecream on the way out. They make the ice cream in front of you with liquid nitrogen, quite a sight!
google avatar

Robert D.

Yelp
Tried the Mocha. Made to perfection! I say stop in and enjoy the cool and different atmosphere. Don't get your coffee from anywhere else. You won't regret it. Haven't tried the ice cream yet.
google avatar

Minh S.

Yelp
OK I see you! I'm normally a fan of ice-creams and pretty girlfriends, but when the two go together? Well gdamn sign me up! I love the basil and strawberry, and you can watch them make it. It's especially nice deserts place after eating something heavy.
google avatar

Irene C.

Yelp
This place is a throw back to 7th grade science where the teacher brings in some liquid nitrogen to make your ice cream. This is definitely a good addition for desserts available in the Midtown area. It is located in Detroit Shipping Co on the 2nd level so be prepared to get hungry looking at some of the other restaurants. The ice cream tastes great and they make it in front of you. I had the pleasure of trying both Avocado Pistachio and Verde Tea. You can really taste the individual ingredients in each. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is based on the time it takes to prepare as well as the price. Although, the place makes it in front of you and gives opportunity for a nice instagram post along with all the liquid nitrogen fun...at the end of the day I just want my ice cream. It took a few minutes longer than I expected to get my ice cream despite being 1st in line. Despite this, I will definitely be back. Oh, and the place also offers Intelligentsia coffee if you are looking for something nice to go with your ice cream!
google avatar

Dee M.

Yelp
They've got some unique flavors of ice creams. We got the affogato with vanilla and cookie and cream ice cream. They were both delicious.
google avatar

Kim S.

Yelp
The double stuffed chocolate Oreo was delicious!! And it's so fun to watch them make it with liquid nitrogen.
google avatar

Joon K.

Yelp
It was an amazing experience to watch them making ice creams in front of me in a couple of minutes using liquid nitrogen. The taste of their mint chocolate chip ice cream was even more amazing! It had the freshness of the mint leaves. THE best ice cream I have ever tasted!
google avatar

Paco V.

Yelp
This is by far the best ice cream I've ever had. I just finished a strawberry basil ice cream. The flavors were just perfect, all fresh ingredients turned into a delicacy.
google avatar

Soar I.

Yelp
A bit unimpressed here. When approaching the counter, I was told before I could ask anything: "Buy everything!" I appreciate the sense of welcoming humor, but the guy didn't really have much to offer in describing his product. When asking about their matcha green tea, all he could say was that it was "good." I asked if he could make it on the stronger side, and I ended up getting a washed out drink. It was luke warm. That's really disappointing when you take your first sip. Their dirty chai latte was terrible. It tasted straight up like sugar and some weird tangy Mountain Dew flavor, like some energy shot drink. I doubt there was an actual shot of espresso in there. My partner got some regular coffee later and that was also so-so. I hope that they faire better with their ice cream because their drinks are definitely a side hustle.
google avatar

Jasmin J.

Yelp
My sister and I shared the Hazelnut Chocolate Crisp and it was so good! We had such a terrible food experience at the Detroit Shitty Company (I mean Shipping lol) and we needed a pick me up. We went upstairs and got a regular ice cream for $5 flat and it was worth every penny and even the two plastic spoons I broke. It was creamy and not too heavy and was so amazing I actually got sad when we finished it. I would come back JUST for the ice cream. It was very very good!! UPDATE: they got rid of that flavor-___- literally why!!! We got the Oreo one which is still really good but why get rid of the best thing that crate place offers?!
google avatar

Gina B.

Yelp
Would be higher and will change review if I get a response. But they sell coffee and they sell ice cream but they don't sell milkshakes? I question it.
google avatar

Danielle T.

Yelp
This is forsure a hidden gem inside Detroit Shipping Co! The staff was super nice and explained any questions we had about their menu. We ended up getting a large Strawberry Basil ice cream and even enjoyed watching them make in right in front of us with liquid nitrogen. The large wasç enough for two people to share! It was honestly probably the creamest ice cream I've ever had! We will definitely be back again if we are in the area!
google avatar

Mona A.

Yelp
Super rich ice cream not to pass up. They did have interesting flavors you might not see very often such as avocado.Went on a Saturday night and it took quite a while to get my ice cream .....but it was worth the wait. I got the chocolate oreo and it was amazing. The concept is similar to many nitrogen creameries. The building it's in is like a food court; different food stations which is pretty cool. I would say keep the kids at home weekend nights.
google avatar

Mianna G.

Yelp
5 stars all around. Aesthetic, service, coffee, and ice cream was all on point. I haven't had espresso that good since I was in Italy. The ice cream is incomparable to anywhere else and it's literally made in front of you. I got the Fresh Basil Strawberry and it actually had fresh basil in it- refreshing, not overly sweet, and sooo smooth. My friend got the Double Chocolate Oreo, I thought it was gonna be over chocolate-y but it was the perfect amount of flavor and actually tasted like an Oreo. The workers were so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere in Detroit Shipping is awesome. This is definitely NOT a place to study, but it's the bestttt place to hang out with friends and grab a coffee after dinner. Loved coming here and I can't wait to come back!!
google avatar

Aashna S.

Yelp
Service was excellent! I got the hazelnut nitrogen ice cream and it was very creamy and the serving size is huge.
google avatar

Michaela D.

Yelp
I can only speak to the ice cream for this place, but WOW. I have never had anything quite like this. It is definitely high quality with almost a custard texture. I had the double stuffed oreo flavor. If you love chocolate, then you will love this option. While it was sweet, it was in no way overwhelming. I enjoyed every single bite! I will definitely be going back to try some of their other flavors. Also, this place is located in the Detroit Shipping Company which is a very cool place to check out in Detroit if you haven't been! I recommend grabbing lunch in the company and then heading upstairs too -320 Coffee & Creamery for some fantastic ice cream!
google avatar

Karen Y.

Yelp
Was not expecting such a delicious ice cream place here! We were here @ detroit shipping company for food (what we got was meh- not worth a review) but luckily we randomly stumbled upon -320. The mint chocolate chip ice cream was soooo good. I would drive the 30 minutes it took to get here, just to eat it again (and maybe give one of the other restaurants a try). For me- the fresh mint in the ice cream was the best part. Definitely a great place to try. I highly recommend it! Thanks for saving lunch!
google avatar

Ahllam B.

Yelp
The coffee menu is pretty small and basic. The espresso is acidic which I'm not a fan of but the latte was really good. The ice cream is made to order so it takes time. It's really creamy and the flavors are subtle. It is very milky. I enjoyed the strawberry basil. My cousin loved the one with cucumber and rose water. If you are one that needs a lot of flavor to taste something, this ice cream is not for you. It is rather pricey. I paid I believe 4.95 for a small latte and it was slightly larger than the short at starbucks.
google avatar

Delanie K.

Yelp
They didn't have a coffee ice cream, so they made a customized order just for me with a shot of espresso in it. I loved it! It's a hidden gem inside of Detroit Shipping company. I will definitely be back in the future! :) Loved this place!
google avatar

Victoria P.

Yelp
This is easily one of the best ice cream places in the area. It is inside the Detroit Shipping Co. which in itself creates an entertaining, enjoyable atmosphere. Though there is not a mass amount of options- the flavors are exquisite and rich. This creamy, nitrogen made ice cream is not only a unique make but a delicious taste! I am a big fan of chocolate and got the double stuffed Oreo chocolate. Can't wait to go back and try more flavors!
google avatar

Juliann L.

Yelp
This ice cream is so bomb! I got the hazelnut cocoa crisp! The man working there was so nice definitely check this place out! :)
google avatar

Antony G.

Yelp
Ambience great, ice cream a bit on the mushy side and takes some time to make on the spot.

brian w.

Yelp
Great service! Friendly staff! Yummy ice cream and fantastic tasting coffee made the way you want! A++
google avatar

Angela T.

Yelp
Love it! One of my favorite places to go to when I'm craving ice cream. Best liquid nitrogen ice cream I've had. Please bring back the pistachio avocado ice cream!!!!
google avatar

Sara N.

Yelp
I came here like literally by accident it looks so ratchet from outside but sooooo worth it they have the best ice cream i can say hands down that ive ever had in my entire life like this is wow and its cheap too its just amazing never had any ice cream that could ever compare this is like the love of my life in ice cream form besidef this they have awesome coffee and just everything here is delightfull i cant say enough
