321 Coffee - Farmers Market

Right at the farmer's market inside a building. I have a severely disabled daughter with dup15q and seeing the neurodiversity affirming pins at the checkout made me feel so warm and happy. I loved seeing people working there that were not neurotypical. I hope someday my daughter is able to do something like that when she's older... It gave me hope. Also the coffee was delicious. I had a carrot cake latte and it was yummy!

Great coffee and great business!!!!!!! As parents of a 5 year old born with a rare genetic disorder, we had to stop by after we heard about you guys!! In town for last night’s Barenaked Ladies show. During sound check, the lead singer said he went to the downtown location, that’s how we heard about you guys!!! Love it.

Great coffee and friendly baristas, they always have the popular seasonal offerings and craft lattes.

I ordered the Megan’s Cold Brew and it was really good! Also the people are so nice! I will definitely be going back. I also tried the Love Big Latte and it was great!

321 Coffee was our BEST find all day during our trip to the NC Farmers Market. Everyone was delightful. I am so glad they handed us a flyer sharing about their mission. Aaron & Lucia gave excellent customer service and were so kind and friendly. The coffee was excellent! This is our new favorite coffee place. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely service and atmosphere! I ordered a Chai Latte and it came out to me very efficiently. It was a bit watery, but enjoyable!

The staff and drinks are wonderful! I highly recommend the lavender chai. It is spicy and full of flavor, not a sweet powdery concoction. We hope to go back soon!

The mission of this coffee shop is awesome. It is staffed by employees with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The coffee and drinks were just okay but if you are visiting the State Farmers Market you should stop by.

Atmosphere: 321 Coffee is a cute corner stand in the State Farmers Market. The vibe is very friendly, welcoming, and the coffee stand is well-decorated with aesthetically pleasing colors and string lights. There are also 2 small tables where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. Service: Our service was decently fast, but most of all, extremely caring and friendly. The pride and camaraderie of the workers made it feel like the coffee was made with purpose and joy. Food: We ordered an Iced Cinnamon Roll Latte, which consisted of brown sugar cinnamon and white mocha flavoring and whipped cream on top. We were expecting more of a sweet, cinnamon flavor in the latte. Unfortunately, it just tasted like a plain syrup latte, so $6-7 was pretty steep for the quality of it. Also, our friend ordered Megan's Cold Brew, which was flavored with french vanilla and topped with sweet creme, and we were surprised to find that the cold brew was significantly sweeter than the latte. Overall: 321 Coffee is a stand and cause we love to support. However, for the drinks themselves, we would rate them closer to a 3.5 -- we would come back because of 321 Coffee's convenient location in the Farmers Market, but the coffee wasn't particularly notable.

Stopped in here while visiting the farmers market. The staff was extremely friendly. It was cool being able to grab a coffee and walk around the market. Even though it's in the market, they've decorated their booth to make it seem like you're in a stand alone coffee shop with seating and all. I ordered their pride latte which came with oat milk included which was awesome! I'd definitely come back again for it.

We stumble upon this coffee when we went to Raleigh. We love that they employ special needs people. Pretty decent coffee!

Ordered a latte on a Sunday morning. There was a line to order and an even longer line of people waiting for their drinks, so I was expecting a bit of a wait. Ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes for the drinks, but the coffee was good and the workers were friendly!

There are a few times when you visit somewhere that pulls you to come back again and again. 321 Coffee is like that, but here it would be anything: the conversation with the baristas, the best service, an overall great experience, or the coffee itself. This was my first visiting the Hillsborough location (I normally go to the State Famers market location) and it exceeded all expectations. I can't imagining visiting Starbucks after coming to this location. If you haven't tried it, you absolutely must! (They also have great seasonal drinks- their pumpkin ones this past fall were amazing) Add to your list if you haven't visited or switch up your normal routine to incorporate 321- if their mission doesn't sway you, the coffee will!

Located inside the farmer's market, it was such a neat little coffee shop. I only got a black hot coffee so there's not much to write about, but I loved the concept of inclusion. All the employees I interacted with there were super sweet. Great location and great service.

321 Coffee is such a cute coffee spot in the Farmers Market building. The service is fantastic and the coffee is delicious. I was with a group of 5- all of ordered something different. I ordered their special for Christmas in July- a peppermint latte. It was perfect. Everyone in the group enjoyed their drinks. They have a couple of tables available right next to the coffee stand, but we chose to sit at the picnic tables right outside the building. There is a lot of great merchandise for purchase. I have heard a lot of great things about their fresh roasted beans so I bought two bags of their whole bean coffee. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other coffee drinks!

If I could give 10 stars I would! First of all the coffee is great! I really like this roaster. I love coffee and like to pick up beans from locals when I find a great roast. The service was great from the get go. I ordered a regular latte and my daughter an oat milk latte. I'm gluten free and asked about gf goods and they didn't have any. Honestly they were pretty much sold out of everything. I have to talk about the service. THE SWEETEST BARISTAS, staff, etc. the regular questions that you ask at a cafe, were answered with the sweetest, infectious, happy responses. I learned all about the dif types of coffees they have. When we got our coffees, one cup had a beautiful heart. When my daughter realized she had a heart and expressed how happy she was the barista with a huge smile, giggled and said "sooo cute, I know" in the sweetest and most infectious way. It was the 100% kindness I felt at every touchpoint from ordering lattes, getting info on the dif coffees they sell and getting my coffee that I had to run and give this yelp review. This experience made my day!! My week!! Very worth it! Go support this business!

In honor of #NationalCoffeeDay it's only right to give todays post to 321 Coffee! 321 Coffee is located in Raleigh, and they built their brand to focus on inclusion. They demonstrate the value of inclusion by primarily hiring adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The coffee is really good, but seeing the purpose "in action" takes it to another level. It made my heart so happy to know that this coffee shop cares, and has opened the doors for many people. They have two open locations in Raleigh (Farmers Market + Downtown) and are set to open a third location in Durham. Please show them love and support, they truly deserve it. PS. Visited on Sunday morning and service was fast, staff were friendly and asked questions to make sure we got the right drink, and coffee was excellent.

Perfect local business to grab on the go beverage or munchie. We really enjoyed the warm, blueberry danish. The Americano was piping hot. Husband really enjoyed his cold brew draft. Paul took our order and was especially entertaining. I sure hope his coworker eventually gets to meet Joe Jonas.

This coffee shop is not your average Joe! I got greeted by Tessa and her enthusiasm was beautiful! Since I need to rock and roll today, I ordered the cinnamon roll late half decaf with oat milk. The latte was splendid! I thoroughly enjoyed this coffee shop.

I stopped by 321 at the Raleigh Farmer's Market today after reading about their mission online. I ordered the cold brew special and it hit the spot!!! Sweet, refreshing and totally quenched my thirst on this hot June day. Service was also quick and friendly. I would definitely come back for some of their other speciality drinks.

I want to go back there soon,it was good. I would recommend going.I would go back whenever I have the chance. I can't wait to hopefully go back soon even though I haven't been to their Durham location yet. I miss them already and I really want and or wanted to work with them. What a fantastic find! This cute little coffee shop is at the end of the 1st building at the farmer's market. I am stealing the next part from their website: They operate as a non-profit and are staffed with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We were greeted immediately and ordered a French vanilla coffee. The young man was very pleasant and smiled. There were, what appeared to be, volunteers helping with the transactions, but not over-bearing to those that were working. This was a great teaching environment. What a simple and spectacular concept!

Extremely friendly and fantastic coffee. I saw and felt great support from the Manager, engaging his team and congratulating them on dojng great work. The staff was so friendly and nice, very welcoming. Will definitely make this a Sunday coffee stop.

Wonderful mission and even better coffee. Coming from the New York area and moving to the South, this is the best, full flavored coffee I've found! Their Brown Sugar Oatmilk Iced Coffee is superb. Will definitely be back. Keep up the amazing work!

This is awesome. It gets 5 stars for the concept, but really would have gotten high marks because the coffee was so good. The purpose of this totally volunteer coffee house is to train adults with disabilities to work. Their mentors also are there in a volunteer capacity. Well done and great lattes.

The service I received today was amazing! I have fallen in love with the peppermint hot chocolate, it's the perfect amount of peppermint and it's super delicious.

Love the actual coffee that this team makes but more importantly, that they go out on a limb (shouldn't have to, just sayin'!) and hire only people with intellectual disabilities. Their store has beautiful branding, cool up-cycled products, a clean kitchen, happy and passionate employees and.....most importantly, big smiles! What else could you ask for?

Definitely a go to when you visit the state farmer's market. They have specials year round that are creative and delicious. I got the Irish Cold Brew today and was served by Kyle. Kyle was serving customers with a smile and was thrilled to be there. Not only was the cold brew the best cold brew I have ever had (better than Starbucks or any other coffee shop), but it was decorated with a shamrock made of green sprinkles. 321 combines a wonderful and inspiring mission of inclusion and equity with amazing products and this is what makes it my favorite spot at the state farmer's market.

I love the concept and love hot beverages but the only reason for 2 stars is the fact that after observing the employee making my hot chocolate, I saw him scrape his finger into my cup. When I approached the person in charge in a friendly way, her response was. "Oh I will let him know". I had to throw away a $4 hot chocolate. I would love to support them but I can't afford to throw money away. They are nice people though.

I have been using the great products and services provided by 321 since they opened. It is a special place run by pure energy and enthusiasm of great people with superb product and skills
