"Perched atop a hillside in southern Iceland, the 360's floor-to-ceiling windows offer unparalleled panoramic views of the wild countryside, from forests and fields to distant waterways – as well as front-row seats to view the Northern Lights. A true design hotel, it comes with industrial-chic styling and stunning outlooks straight from your bed. After a day exploring everything from glaciers to geysers, take time to soak in the mineral-rich thermal baths, before heading outdoors for a chance to see the lights dance over the landscape." - The MICHELIN Guide Nordic Editorial Team

"The concept is a simple one, and is all the more powerful for it: 360° Boutique Hotel is named for the panoramic view made possible by its hilltop setting and its wraparound glass-walled construction. From here, fifteen minutes past the town of Selfoss, the view takes in mile after mile of wild southern Icelandic countryside." - Le Guide MICHELIN

Loved this hotel. Travelled as a family of five at the beginning of December and we were delighted. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The food was absolutely exceptional. We were lucky enough to have plenty of snow, to experience frozen waterfalls, underground caves, vik and the black sand beach with snow all over it, and to see the northern lights. What an amazing trip!

1. Room Quality:||The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens smelled fresh. I loved the ocean view from the balcony—it was breathtaking, especially at sunrise.|| 2. Amenities:||The hotel offers excellent amenities. The infinity pool overlooking the beach was a personal favorite. The spa services were top-notch, and the gym was well-equipped for a quick workout.|| 3. Staff & Service:||The staff were courteous and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless, and the concierge was very helpful in arranging local tours.||

We stayed for three nights and left not thinking it was nearly enough. It was, without hesitation, the best hotel experience of my life. The hotel is small, only about 14 rooms. And the rooms are luxurious. You become acquainted with the others guests and those interactions are a lot of fun. Dinner is amazing with some of the best seafood and Lamb I have ever had. The morning fare is equally good with a large variety of cereals, eggs and intriguingly, some of the Icelandic breakfast foods. The hosts, Olaf and Anna are wonderful and a lot of fun to sit and chat with. All of the staff were outgoing and friendly. The other aspect is the hotel is very close to the "Golden Circle"; a drive which has some of the most breathtaking natural wonders. It will take you a full day to see all of the National Parks and other amazing natural beauties. If you are going to Iceland, this is a must stay hotel!

This was our last stop on our Iceland trip. Anna was very attentive and welcoming. Felt like we were guest at their home. Food was excellent tasty and fresh. We were 3 couples and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect for our day trips. Views were amazing.

This is my favorite hotel in Iceland. It’s so beautiful. The owners are great. There are two dogs here that are incredibly friendly and the view and surroundings are exquisite; perfect for walking and hiking. Breakfast and dinner were utterly delicious. I couldn’t be happier than I am right now on a vacation.

Our family of three adult couples spent three nights here. The location allows for access to the southern part of the island while still being close to a city (Selfoss). It’s in a remote area that is quite beautiful. Most of Iceland is devoid of trees but the father of the owner has planted 100,000 of them on the property over the past 50 years and the baby forest is amazing.||The hotel has a lovely dining area where a delicious and varied organic breakfast is included with the room. Dinner is served as well for an extra cost and we had it one evening—the bread, salmon, lamb, and brownie were delicious. The dining area offers fantastic sunrise views in the morning.||There are about 1-2 dozen rooms all facing a long corridor that serves as a living room. I was worried about possible noise from other guests but it was very quiet at night. The rooms are lovely with gorgeous views. Bathroom is large and nice. Each room has a small patio and direct access to the outside.||The spa is next to the hotel and has an outdoor pool kept at about 35 C (95 F), indoor pool that is much hotter (like 104 F), and two hot tubs on a hill with good views but they are not hot. We couldn’t really stay in them long and I’d estimate them to be about 90 F. The water for all three is from geothermal springs and they have two posters highlighting the info about them and their specific mineral content. They are full of minerals—the water is not dirty. It is renewed almost daily and tested by the authorities. Some of the negative reviews here are just ignorant. There is also a sauna that fits 6-8 people and gets super hot (180+ F). We really enjoyed the amenities.||The only thing I disliked was not being able to control the room’s ventilation system or heating. It’s hotel wide and controlled by the owners. You can open a window to cool the room though.||The owner Anna is very warm and welcoming. She allowed us to visit her horses and gave us bread to feed them. The two hotel dogs are also adorable and we enjoyed their sweet behavior like joining us for walks around the property. I would absolutely stay here again if we returned to the area.

We stayed one night, August 29 (three rooms), at the 360. It was a wonderful experience. Tina the dog greets you at check-in. The rooms are beautiful and large. Unbelievable views in all directions (hence the "360"). The night was perfectly clear and the Northern lights filled the endless sky view. The restaurant was excellent. Get there early so you can take full advantage of the experience. Highly recommend.

A Disappointing Experience We left just 15 minutes after checking in. Unfortunately, the hotel was far from what we expected, with a general lack of cleanliness and attention to detail. The place felt neglected, and it didn’t live up to the standards of a boutique or luxury hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the property wasn’t well-maintained. The entrance was messy, with a hose on the ground, dirt that hadn’t been swept, and dry plants scattered everywhere. Honestly, you’d expect more even from a 3-star hotel. While we love dogs, the ones here were dirty and roaming freely, which isn’t appropriate in a hotel setting. This was our final stop after a wonderful family trip through southern Iceland, and sadly, it was the most expensive and the biggest letdown of our journey. Given the condition of the place, I wouldn’t even pay a fraction of what we were charged. We paid 1.200€ for one night. 2 adults and 2 kids. When I politely raised these issues and requested a refund, the owner’s response was dismissive. He even questioned where I was from and suggested that I return to my country. Very rude, by the way. He acknowledged that we weren’t the first guests to leave early, which speaks volumes. Once I got home, I looked into it more and noticed that many of the positive reviews seem unverified, which feels deceptive. I can’t help but think this is part of how they lure people in. Their business model seems to revolve around misleading people.
