The location is excessively filled with people. , If they continue to oversell tickets, it will prevent you from fully enjoying your experience. There is a queue for the elevator and a table available or even taking photographs. The sight is satisfactory to justify the 10€ fee for admission. The drinks begin at a price of 6 euros. Reserving a table in advance is highly recommended.

It's definitely the best spot for great sunset with 360° panoramic view on huge Madrid! Yes, you need to pay 10€ entrance after 18:00 (before it's 5€), but it's worth it! You need to wait ~40min after sunset to enjoy nightlight city view and atmosphere of the Bar itself. Like a sunset lover, I'm strongly recommend this fun✌️ The entrance to the rooftop is from the back of the main entrance of RIU Hotel building

Popular place with a line and cover charge to get in. Then a line for a table and a line for a photo op. Food was quick but you can se very delicious. The views are amazing.

Visiting the rooftop bar at the Hotel Rio in Plaza de España was an unforgettable experience. A friend introduced me to this gem, and the panoramic views of Madrid from the top were simply breathtaking. The hotel itself, with its cool setup and meticulous renovation, complements the city's skyline beautifully. Enjoying a drink while soaking in the sights from this vantage point was a highlight of my time in Madrid. The whole building exudes a charm that's hard to find elsewhere, making for great times and even better memories!

Drinks were very beautiful and tasted great. The food and drinks were good, however I do think it was very overpriced for what it was. The food was average bar food but one of the most expensive tapas we ordered in Madrid in the 6 weeks we were here. The view was incredible, however the vibe of the restaurant was very relaxed and casual. It wasn't bad, however I was expecting something a bit nicer based on the price. It was very difficult to flag down our waiter for more drinks and there wasn't too many people in the bar when we were there.

The view was great, but that’s about it. The entrance fee was 10€ per person. We went there for the drinks, and I really wanted a piña colada. The cocktail I got was the worst thing ever. It tasted like 0,5l of pineapple juice, nothing else. Very watery and super sweet, I couldn’t taste the coconut at all. For 14€ you expect more. I didn’t need it to be perfect, but just decent. I managed to drink only half of it and I left. If you go there for the view, go ahead, but personally I would avoid the drinks.

The views are genuinely excellent, but the challenge of getting past 500 people taking thousands of selfies for social media really takes the shine off the place. We went on a Wednesday evening and it was insanely busy, you pay just to get up and then you wait for a table which took around 10 mins. The service is actually surprisingly good although it’s a machine to get as many people in then out as humanely possible, it’s a bit of a zoo frankly. That said you have genuine 360 views of a beautiful city, so if you can somehow find a quiet time it’s probably worth a visit.
