3 Gorges - Review - Fitzrovia - London - The Infatuation

"3 Gorges is not a Clint Eastwood film where gunslingers traverse three gorges on horseback. It’s a three-floor Hubei and Cantonese restaurant. This being Fitzrovia, there are luxury dishes like black truffle king crab noodles and caviar peking Beijing duck, as well as noodles and xiaolongbao. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Sinéad Cranna

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic Chinese fine dining restaurant in the heart of London. The tasting menu was thoughtfully curated and beautifully executed — highlights included the delicate dim sum platter, a crispy duck roll elevated with black truffle, deeply flavorful chicken broth, perfectly stir-fried beef, and a standout duck main that was rich and aromatic. A perfect spot for anyone seeking refined Chinese cuisine in a stylish setting.

Had a great experience here! The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing, and the food is delicious and authentic. Highly recommend the dim sum and prawn dumplings – some of the best I’ve had. Will definitely come back!

Added to my list of Chinese fine dining spots in London! Will definitely be coming back . We booked a private room for a small get together, and it was PERFECT. Quiet, elegant, and just the right level of formal. The Dim Sum Platter is a standout. Black pepper angus beef with crispy rice and black truffle duck rolls are absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Amazing new fine-dining spot! The food is incredible — every dim sum was delicate and flavorful, and even the complimentary starters were packed with rich ingredients. The tasting menu portions were huge and great value for money (definitely worth visiting before it gets Michelin recognition and prices go up!). Highlights included the Abalone Roast Duck Rice, the Plum Spare Ribs, and the fusion of Cantonese and Hubei flavors across the dishes. Cozy location near Warren Street with private rooms available. Highly recommend!

I was attracted by the beautiful decor as soon as I arrived here. The restaurant has a cozy, fine dining feel with a mix of Chinese and Western styles, and the fresh flowers smelled amazing. We tried their Taste Menu, and every dish was delicious — from the Supreme Dim Sum Platter to the Double Boiled Herbal Duck Soup and the creative Charcoal Grilled Stuffed Peppers. The Abalone Eight Treasure Duck was a real highlight, and the desserts like the South Asian Coconut Pudding were the perfect finish. The presentation was beautiful, the service was friendly, and the whole experience felt very special. Highly recommend!

Very good restaurant. Amazing food especially the dim sum platter was of high quality and with wonderful flavours. For main the peking duck was delicious and would defintely recommend ordering the custard buns as dessert.
