The 15 Best BBQ Spots In Kansas City, Ranked - Kansas City - The Infatuation

"If you’re in the area visiting William Jewell College or Liberty’s historic downtown, it’d be a mistake not to stop at 3Halves. This brewery and BBQ joint is always packed with professors sitting with students or locals watching a game on TV while hosting a kid’s birthday party. Unlike many BBQ joints, 3Halves is somewhere you can linger—there’s not the usual rush or table hawking happening. Their menu is more than BBQ—the cowboy burger is a perfectly cooked smashburger with bacon, candied jalapeños, and pepper jack—though their burnt ends with wasabi slaw and beef tallow french fries can compete with the stuff at any BBQ joint. Get a flight of sour beers, which will make you feel like you’re in a Warheads commercial." - ryan bernsten

Google
We came here for the ribs and they did not disappoint! Between the three of us we ordered 4.5 slabs of ribs! The spicy cheese curds were awesome and the spice will get you! The corn nuggets were even great, sweet and crunchy. The brisket is some of the best in KC! The smoked sausage was the slight downfall. We ordered the hatch chilie sausage...we think....and we think it was maybe beer cheese in it, that gave it a little weird flavor... MacKenzie was our waitress and she was very friendly, prompt on refills, and did a great job. One of us had already been there, but all of us will definitely come back!

Google
10 out of 10 recommend! We stopped in after a round of golf near by. The food was impeccable and reasonably priced. The brisket melts in your mouth, the Mac and cheese was creamy and had Parmesan flavor, but the best was the street corn that had the perfect amount of tang. All paired perfectly with the Farmhouse Saison. Amber was so helpful and friendly! Can’t ask for more on this beautiful Sunday.

Google
3Halves was a great experience! We really enjoyed the atmosphere. We went for the Iowa Style Pork Tenderloin and it did not disappoint. The huge tenderloin was hand cut and battered and came with all the fixings. I was able to eat about half and brought the other half home. We drank draft craft beer and they provide the option to get canned beer to go. Everyone that we encountered that worked there was friendly. We sat at the bar and service was outstanding. Great environment with great food!!

Google
Sorry established KC BBQ, but your match has been met. These folks at at 3Halves have perfected the burn end in both beef and pork, and their ribs are absolutely to die for. I know KC IS ALL ABOUT THE SAUCE. trust me when I say this, it’s not worth all the hype. Go to this place that does a great dry up and doesn’t smother their meat in sugar. If you’re looking for what profile of barbecue, I would say a combination between Texas and Tennessee . 10 out of 10, I even went back to back nights for dinner.

Google
This place is great! We went in for lunch. I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich with corn. My wife ordered the sausage sandwich with fries. The brisket was excellent. It had great bark and rendered fat. The brisket was cut thick. It melted in your mouth and the flavor was good. My only critique is that the brisket lacked that wood smoke flavor. The corn was terrific! My wife loved the sausage sandwich. The sausage is made in house and had a really good taste and flavor. The fries were fried in beef tallow and was excellent! They had just the right amount of seasoning. My wife and friend got a flight of beer. They enjoyed all the flavors and walked out with a couple of six packs.

First time trying 3Halves. Pretty good. Pork belly burnt end sandwich: Not bad, the burnt ends were cooked a little longer than I’m used to encountering with pork belly so they had taken on a little bit of a bacon flavor. Iowa Tenderloin sandwich: as big as you would expect it to be and of course you’ll be taking leftovers home unless you like to eat triple portions of food in one setting. Baked beans: these are great with huge chunks of brisket mixed in. Street corn: also good with a nice street elote type sauce they put on them. Fries: gotta do better here. Not much seasoning, sort of cold and stale. Overall, we’ll probably come back to try more sometime.

Google
Fantastic BBQ! First time visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. We had the. 2 meat plate with burnt ends, sliced brisket and another with polish sausage and pork belly burnt ends. Sides were spicy Cole slaw and baked beans. Also had the cheese curds which were spicy too. Meat was spot on and the sides were terrific! We will definitely be eating here again.

Google
Excellent choice for some Kansas City BBQ. Seated quickly, cold drinks, inviting atmosphere, and fantastic food. Nothing pulls you in quicker than the smell of good BBQ. I couldn't help myself but to try the Brisket, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, and the ribs based off the recommendations of friends and the bar tender. And of course nothing pairs better, in my opinion, with BBQ better than some Mac and cheese, which did not disappoint. The layout of their dining area is setup so you do not feel over crowded. Sitting at the bar the service was top notch. The ribs were fall off the bone perfect. The pork belly burnt ends were candy. Perfectly crisp and packed with flavor. And the brisket was well prepared. It is worth the stop, lunch, dinner, special occasion or simply visiting. It is also placed in downtown Liberty and it is hard not to enjoy the area itself and explore the downtown area before or after your indulgence of this great BBQ.

Yelp
We came here for lunch after reading reviews. We shared the 3 Halves plate with sliced brisket, ribs and hot link. We got onion rings, mac and cheese and beans for the sides and some wings. The place is nice. Not fancy, but comfortable. The server was really nice and did a great job. Everything was very tasty. The brisket melts in your mouth, ribs were almost fall off the bone, which is perfect, hot link had just enough heat, mac and cheese was great and hubby liked the beans a lot. We will be back and I will be trying the tenderloin!

Yelp
This place had good Yelp reviews, so we stopped in for dinner before the grand opening of Water Street Ceramics. I ordered a half size of pulled pork nachos, with no olives, jalapeños, or green onions, along with a side of street corn. My husband ordered the one meat sliced brisket plate with baked beans and tots. The good: - baked beans side was smoky and flavorful - street corn side was a small serving, but it tasted amazing - the nachos did not have olives or green onions on them as requested The bad: - My husband's brisket was cold and not very flavorful at all. Disappointing bc it cost $18. - The pulled pork on my nachos was also cold. Idk if they just serve all their meat cold or what, but it was cold. - I can deal w cold meat, but my nachos had jalapeños in them. I don't realize it until it was too late and I'd bitten into a couple; my body does not tolerate them well at all. - When I bought it up to my server, they asked if I was sure, despite a handful of them I'd picked out sitting on the plate next to me. She went back to check and supposedly the pico has japalenos in it and the server didn't know. Based on how the food was served, idk if that's true, but either way it was not a pleasant dining experience for me, and I was really looking forward to going out and trying a new place. - They remade the nachos, but it was def a smaller serving size and the meat was lukewarm. Cool location and ambiance inside with the various seating options; service was not terrible, but not very impressive either. We will not be back.

Yelp
Visiting the area and was kind of confusing at first. Google said it was the corner suite but it was actually the entire building. It was a huge place with an option for some outdoor ambiance. The bar is immediately when you walk in and the staff was super nice. Definitely amazed by the local township relationships and that defines the culture of the area. The owners and staff knew their "regulars" and it makes it almost like a CHEERS theme. I wanted to try everything but I had their golden ale (similar to a Blue Moon) and their seasonal Oktoberfest was delicious. I had the cowboy burger which was huge. It had their house bbq sauce on it and the fried onions definitely topped the flavor. I didn't think to ask for it medium but it was still delicious. I also had the 1/2 pound of sliced brisket, which came on top of a piece of bread. The brisket was perfectly cooked and juicy (even though I asked for cuts with more fat). The major distinctive taste was the cracked pepper on the outer layer of the brisket. The house spicy bbq sauce was a smooth compliment to the brisket as well. Overall, this place is amazing and I would definitely make my way to visit every time I am in town.

Yelp
Great beers and great food. So good I went for lunch and dinner the same day to try out more. The staff are amazing and actually hilarious. They made our day.

Yelp
What a nice place! I am glad we made the drive out here. We found this place because we are knocking out the places on the KC Pub Pass and my fiancé wanted BBQ as well as beer. That only pointed to one place! They have an incredibly deal called the Meat Mile, which is said to feed 2-4 people. We were very hungry that day and managed to eat it all, but I imagine on a normal day it could be shared with more people. When we walked to in there was live music going on up front. The hostess politely asked if we wanted to listen to music, we didn't, so she showed us to a much quieter back room. I was very happy with this as I was a little disappointed thinking it was going to be very loud when we walked in. Several other people went past that area to some additional seating outside, but we didn't go see what that looked like. The best foods for me were hands down the turkey, the Mac and cheese, and the street corn. If we were to do the meat mile again, we would double up on all three of those. The pulled pork was good, but there was so much per serving, we didn't need to double up. I can't eat beef so I can't review the brisket. I had one burnt end, which was tasty, but I'm not a fan of fatty meats.

Yelp
friday night chiefs game soo.. it was packed. i will say that the food was really good my group wasn't a fan of the street corn tho. we were in the back room and it there was 1 tv on wall and they had the sound cranked on the tv so with the brick walls, a packed room, and the tiny tv speakers squawking it was a VERY loud room. Our whole group of 8 was cold they had the ceiling fans going full speed blowing the cold air down on us and the food. both waiters said it was connected to the a/c and they couldn't turn them down or off? i call b/s on that one.

Yelp
Deliciously surprised! It's been a while since we visited this place. The last time the BBQ was done by a different joint. This is my second time since 3 Halves is making the BBQ. IT WAS DELICIOUS. We were surprised as we did not expect. We tried the cheese curds, baked beans burnt end and pull pork. Full of flavor, meat was tender, great bark, and full of flavor. Outdoor patio is nice.

Yelp
A neighbor of ours back in Indiana recommended this place. Well worth the visit. Good beer, better barbecue! Everyone in our family was happy. The sliced brisket was a big hit and I loved my burnt ends. Great beers too! This is a must visit if you're in the Liberty area. And they're located right near the Liberty town square. Lots of great little boutique shops.

Yelp
Kansas City bbq great find thanks fellow yelpers. A little outside Kansas City limits is this great bbq spot with many great options. They are also a brewery and wish we had more time to explore all of there beverage options. It was a busy Sunday inside and many happy full faces around. Service was pretty prompt despite how busy it was.

Yelp
Get off the road, small towns win. Four lanes to one and a very fun, good, friendly lunch. Cuban for me and girlfriend had a club. We both ate carrying home 1/2.

Yelp
Had a great West Coast , IPA which is as good as the LA IPA . Also , ordered a brisket dip , sandwich which was delicious with Mac cheese . Great service with amazing bartender! Will definitely come back if I visit Liberty again .

Yelp
Came up here to Liberty and checked out 3 Halves BBQ. A cool little spot. There is plenty of seating, kind of crunched in but it's really not that bad...it's a cool set up. The workers are great and the service was enjoyable. The BBQ was pretty good. Not expected in a small town. I drove here to specifically try out their burnt ends. I will say their burnt ends are better than their brisket IMO. The prices were steep. I can't remember the exact prices but I know a 1/2lb of burnt ends was around $18 or more. That's an insane price hike! They're good but they are pricey. Great BBQ, great restaurant. If you're in Liberty and want BBQ I'd suggest going. It's not the best in the area but no where near the worst. It's above average and I'd be surprised if you left unhappy!

Yelp
We just had a delightful BBQ meal at 3 Halves but the highlight of the day was our server Jesse. His conversation and upbeat personality made the meal an extra special experience. Now to the food. I had a half slab and my wife had the pulled pork which were both superb. A special thanks to Jesse, from Chicago, who made us feel so welcome. Wishing him the best in his future.

Yelp
Clean place and they know what they're doing. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The food was wonderful. What can you say man if they know how to make barbecue or they don't and this place knows what they're doing. I recommend you try it. I'll be there again tonight. Come on. You can buy me a beer.

Yelp
Absolutely soooooo good!!!!!! Service and atmosphere is point on. A must and we'll be in for another Friday night. Pics to follow

Susan N.

Yelp
I typically do not ever do negative reviews. All about pumping people up! This particular review is a disappointment for me to have to make. Had a friend in from out of town and ordered burnt end dinners. The meat was extremely dry with over 40% fat . I have had their burns before and have been satisfied. But this time we all ended up not finishing them. Made a call to the restaurant to let them know that I thought perhaps these were leftover burnt ends from lunchtime? And how dissatisfied we were. The person who answered the phone simply did not care . She only stated to come back another time perhaps I would have a different experience. Nothing to try to keep my business. Definitely will not be returning.

Yelp
Food was delish and fresh!. The 1st time I came they were too busy to serve us ..it was on a Saturday night around 8. ...they told us that if we didn't have a reservation that they couldn't get us a table (3adults and 2kids) so we came back during the week and the food was great! My only advice is maybe call in advance on the weekend!

Yelp
Was visiting Kansas City for work, and this was one of the breweries that I was told to check out. Swung by on a Monday evening, which just happened to be open mic night. Several good performers that played that night, definitely could tell it was a lot of locals and some repeat performers. Great ambience! I chose to have one of their IPAs, which was pretty tasty, and also had their pork nachos. The nachos were a huge for the full order, and they had ambled delicious, pulled pork on top, along with cheeses, scallions, hot jalapeños, and they all blended very well for a delicious taste would definitely come back here again

Yelp
I'm from Florida and my nephew took me and his mother also got Florida for dinner. The service was great but the food was one of the best bar be que I ever had. I had the burnt ends and ribs. With coleslaw everything was absolutely delicious.I wish they had one like that in Fla. And if they do where you at. Toni M Clermont Fl

Yelp
The BBQ here is outstanding. Highly recommended. The server was attentive and quick. This is the perfect atmosphere for a speedy and really good lunch. I wanted to take a photo of the food, but it didn't last long enough to do so. A+

Yelp
Great food, great brews and great customer service! I always enjoy a good microbrewery tasting and this one did not disappoint! Not sure if the brews are sold in stores but they are the real deal and could hang with anyone!

Yelp
So impressed with this place!! Wow everything was so great. The ribs had amazing flavor and the meat was so tender and juicy. Didn't even need bbq sauce! Burnt ends were amazing. Even the sides were great. The Mac and cheese was so good! The cheese curds had the perfect cheese pull. Wow. What a cute place! No bad things to say!

Lacey M.

Yelp
10 out of 10 recommend! We had a round of golf near by and stopped in. Very friendly atmosphere in the cute downtown liberty. The food was FANTASTIC. The brisket was incredibly tender, the Mac and cheese was impeccably creamy, the street corn had an amazing amount of tang, and it pairs perfectly with the saison beer. I was more than pleasantly surprised at the local establishment. To top it off Amber, our server, was great as well! The pricing was beyond reasonable. I'm kinda sad I don't live in Liberty now!

Yelp
Decent, if not great, food and beer. I stopped drinking but recall the beer to be quite good and that the brewmaster formerly worked at Cinderblock, home of what was my favorite IPA. The service is generally quite good but suffers when the crowd is unplanned for large. Yet, their attitudes are generally good and the food comes quickly. As for ambiance, the outdoor seating area and front room bar area are very good. Monday nights is an open mic night for local and other musicians ranging from beginners to seasoned, folk to rock, and otherwise pleasing to great. We spent three hours outside last Saturday and had a wonderful time. Check it out and, if you're curious for history, come early and explore Liberty's and stay later across the street at the Corner Bar, a standard in town since WWII. Liberty, more than a town, it's a feeling.

Yelp
Great food and great service. Our server was fun and gave great suggestions. The big hit at our table were the Pork Belly Burnt Ends.

Yelp
Great food, friendly staff, and it has that relaxed, but upbeat friendly atmosphere. Small town at its finest and burnt ends & ribs to dye for.

Yelp
I love BBQ and my wife loves Tenderloins, so we had not been to this place and decided to give it a try. I had the two meat platter with Brisket and Burnt Ends. The brisket was nice and tender, but the BBQ Sauce ruined it for me. The sauce is just not good compared to other places in the Kansas City area. I know that Burnt Ends should have a little bit of fat on them, but 3 out of the 4 chunks I had were ALL fat. My wife ordered the Tenderloin and the portion and thickness were fine, but it was WAY over seasoned with pepper and other seasoning that made it very spicy. She was very disappointed by this and made the decision to toss the rest when we arrived home. I don't think we will go back. The service was outstanding however.

Yelp
I need to first preface that Kansas City BBQ has overall been a wash with me, and I live here. So let's get that outta the way by saying I have very low standards for local BBQ in general. When I do venture out to a place that has gotten some notice, I try to order a few different things on the menu so that my view is not tarnished by one thing, which I did. We ordered a couple of appetizers (the pretzels w/ beer cheese and the loaded tots) The cheese was lacking in flavor, I mean, it had some. I'm just not sure what it was (normally, there is a very specific flavor associated with beer cheese, and this was not even in the ball park) but It reminded me of bland Mac and Cheese served in an old folks home ‍ the pretzels were fantastic though. Now leading to the Tots, which overall, nothing to write home about. They had pulled pork, which was tender but also lacked any flavor other than a small smoked flavor, which was disappointing cause it's normally one of the better meats here locally. I ordered the two meat plate with ribs and brisket, the ribs were absolutely amazing they had flavor and that fall off the bone with PROPERLY RENDERED FAT, which is hard to do I guess in Kansas city the brisket was well cooked but ultimately met the same fate as the pulled pork. The fire roasted street corn was just awful. It tasted like hot mayo corn with tajin, and the Mac and Cheese matched the flavorless pit as the beer cheese. We got the salad, which came in an unusually large dog bowl with turkey... the turkey had some good flavor but was ultimately dry, so it was OK but not great. The sangria was in my girlfriends words, "tasted terrible." Overall, the service was good and attentive, and the atmosphere is about what you would expect of a BBQ joint, casual. Overall, other than the ribs, everything fell the same way Kansas city BBQ normally does, it requires sauce to be edible (which is the same as putting steak sauce on your steak, if you have to do it, the cook did a crap job) and was as disappointing to me as I was to my parents before they put me up for adoption. Edit: I was just informed that the corn was made and tasted exactly like it should have, so I guess that's just a me problem.

Yelp
Reviewed this place back when it was "the jousting pigs" and found it to be a gross place with very bad meat but i wouldnt have ever called it bbq. What a relief to get to finally experience some of this amazing bbq that KC natives claim they have 'round these parts. (im from texas and always have high expectations) Husband and I had a bit of a wait when we came in the door. hostess was a little busy but once she caught a glimpse of us she visibly made efforts to get to us as quick as she could. Greeted with a smile and thats always nice. Enjoy seeing staff that are friendly and upbeat. There were families and couples so dont shy from bringing the kids. Not sure if they have high chairs so call first if you have a need. Our table was a really chilly and i understand the staff is rushing around and the kitchen is hot so they feel warm. but i have to say there were two families who both had a kid with a blanket. not sure if they were regulars and knew it was cold inside but they had the right idea. My husband's tenderloin was massive. and very tender. i tried some and it was wonderful. I asked our server which she recommended between the burnt ends, should i get beef or pork. She immediately insisted the pork was perfection and was she ever telling the truth. Hubs could not keep his hands off my burnt ends and helped me make quick work of them. Be warned they are filling. had to take my turkey home with me. Everything was delicious. They have alcohol for those that like and bar seating as well. table seating is low or high top tables. no booths. Couple of TVs Didnt use restrooms so cant report on those. Staff was great. and sweet tea was actually sweet and fresh as well. Place needed a little tidying up and seemed like it was half finished. the empty fridge case was an eye sore behind our table and since it was lit up it was super bright being empty in a darkly lit area of the restaurant. areas seemed crowded and our table was too small for all our food plus the table condiments and drink menu/paper towel. need larger tables even for two seater tables if you want all that stuff to fit. would not have been able to keep the chips and queso on the table with dinner had we decided to order it with the meal. Just something for owner to consider. Overall i really recommend. id love to see this place last and grow. That PORK. THOSE BURNT ENDS! thanks for dinner.

Yelp
This was a nice chill vibe dispite them being fairly busy. We actually really Enjoyed this place. It was one of the better margaritas I've had in a while. normally don't drink all of my drinks but this one was easy. They brew some of their own beer. You can even ask about purchasing some to go. We got their spicy cheese curds for an appetizer & they were good & so spicy! Their ranch was good & helped dial it down a notch. I ordered ribs with wasabi slaw & ranch beans. The wasabi slaw had the most subtle wasabi flavor. I'm going to try to recreate it at home. It was Really unique. The beans weren't my style but they weren't bad. They had more of a tomato base chili style flavor where I prefer more of the bbq style. But other than that, no complaints. The ribs were fall off the bone & a nice introduction to Kansas City :) My husband really enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich & loved the Mac & cheese! We definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
I stopped in today for lunch to check out something new...to me! They did not disappoint!! Burnt ends were very tender & beans were some of the best I've had.

Yelp
Right after it changed from Jousting Pigs to 3 Halves, hubby and I went for dinner and we were not impressed. We used to eat at Jousting Pigs a couple times a month. So many friends have been telling us how great their recent experience was so we thought we would give it another try. Came in last night (Thursday Oct.2nd) to have dinner and celebrate my birthday. Wasn't crowded at all. We chose to eat inside, but not in the main dining room. The host took us to a table in the side room and there was a man by himself and another table with 2 adults. We were given menus and told that someone would be right with us. Several employees walked past us like we weren't even there. We even said hi to a server and she said hi and walked past us. We had looked over the menu and decided what we wanted to order - still no service. 3 women got seated right behind us about 5-7 minutes after we came in. A server came over and took there order and STILL no one had even taken our drink order. After sitting there for a little over 10 minutes and not being acknowledged, we got up and left. We passed the server on our way out and she said, "Oh sorry guys" - too late. We left and decided never to return. We love supporting local and eat at Conrad's and Nikki's pizza often. We have never been ignored like we were last night. Sorry 3 Halves, we give 2nd chances but not 3rd.

Brian W.

Yelp
Worst service ever and expensive for the care you get. Avoid! Waittess rude and condescending. Needs work on customer service . Food and beer good but certain help is terrible.

Yelp
Checked out this spot with our pub pass. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have any seltzers since I'm gluten-free, and most places on the list have been able to swap my beer for a seltzer. I went with a lemon drop cocktail instead--it was decent. Our server was friendly and chatted with us a bit, which was nice. The vibe of the place was great, and I really enjoyed the music. Looking forward to coming back and trying the food next time!

First walking into this place, the atmosphere looked clean and welcoming, but the food awful. Our cheese curds came out cold and still frozen in the center, I ordered the meat mac & cheese, and the noodles were not done and the meat was dry. My friend ordered a hamburger and the bun was harder than the table we ate at. I simply cannot agree with the overall high rating of this place. The weight staff enjoyed congregating together more than serving the customers.

Yelp
3 Halves popped up on my social media recently and left me intrigued so my next trip to Liberty I had to make a stop. I ordered the pork belly sandwich with the Korean sauce and it was mouth watering good crispy outer shell and tender on the inside it was a delightful sandwich. I asked for spicy sauce and it did not have any heat perhaps adding a grilled jalapeño as an option would be my recommendation to the Chef. My wife ordered the pork tenderloin which was enormous fit for a King but will make a great lunch meal the next day. Another bonus was the excellent weather so we sat outside with our doodle she enjoyed the tater tots. I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu.

Yelp
Our favorite place in Liberty. Best beer and BBQ in the area. If you are here out of town, we highly recommend this awesome brewery.

Yelp
Very cool place! Lots of great beer options. The food was excellent and the portions were huge so come hungry or be prepared for a to-go box. Service has been good both times. It's downtown area so parking can be challenging.

Yelp
We had an event May 10. Had a caterer hired that cancelled on Tuesday May 6. Called 3 Halves on Wed May 7 and they said Absolutely! Got all the arrangements taken care of on Wed. I should mention all this was done over phone and email as I am in WA state! The owner himself delivered our food right on time on Sat The food was amazing! Brisket was melt in your mouth. Pulled pork, coleslaw and Mac n cheese were soooo good!! And their regular and spicy sauces - yummmm Next time I visit MO I will be eating at 3 Halves!! Thank you for everything!!!

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch. Got the meat mile and everything was delish--especially loved the pork and the fries. Great beers as well. Service was fast and friendly. And LOVE the location in downtown Liberty. We'll definitely be back

Yelp
What a great new addition to the KC BBQ world. Stopped by here while in town for a Chiefs game and I wasn't disappointed. Their burnt ends rank up there with Joes and Q39 which is amazing. I'm not a coleslaw fan, but fell in love with the wasabi slaw. My boyfriend from Iowa said the tenderloin sandwich was true Iowa style and he managed to almost eat it all. Ambiance is great with bar and regular seating. We sat at the bar and Jill gave exceptional service! I'd hire her away if I could. She even was nice enough to give me ingredients to the peppermint expresso martini and I purchased once I got back to TX. Everyone needs to try out this location on all fronts.

Yelp
We had an enjoyable time with some beer and BBQ. The flight was a nice chance to try several options. I enjoyed the Mexican lager and the cherry sour the most, and the cream stout was a perfect serving in the smaller glass. The burnt ends were good, as was the brisket. The beans and corn were nothing special. The patio is a great spot to enjoy a beautiful evening and the server was very personable.

Yelp
Their Smash burger was delicious. I ordered a salad in place of the fries; it was amazing and large for a side salad. The outside patio was beautiful. Service was great as well.

Yelp
I'm on a tour of KC Breweries and BBQ, so 3 Halves Brewing and BBQ is a two for one stop! The beer and bbq were both good - the BBQ in particular was better than many of the KC "institutions" that others frequent. The meat came without sauce, so that you could choose between their regular and spicy sauces. The burnt ends and brisket were both tender, and the spicy cheese curds were surprisingly hot. Another nice touch - a changing table in the men's restroom. Thank you, as I sometimes bring the kiddos and it's nice to know there's a changing table, if needed.
