3hive Record Lounge

Drove from Salt Lake City to 3hive after holding it off for quite some time and it was extremely worth it. I’m always particularly looking for electronic music and they had about everything I could’ve wished for while being extremely fairly priced, cheap if anything. Definitely planning on making my way out there again!

Already a great place and wonderful vibe, but this last time Rex, the store manager, helped us with a record I had traded in some time ago that seemed to have gotten lost in the system during the move. Rex was super patient and looked through everything he could to find it, and then was kind enough to comp us very generously when it wouldn't turn up. Definitely coming back for their selection in the future.

I went to this record store a few weeks ago and, not only was the selection fantastic, but the girl who helped me was so knowledgeable and cool and nice! This place has great vibes, really awesome staff, and fairly priced records :). Highly recommend!

I've only been to a few record stores, but this one is by far my favorite. Awesome and very helpful staff, great selection of both standard black and colored records, and a great atmosphere. Also right next to a couple UVX bus stops, so if you take public transit, this one is for you! You truly can't go wrong with 3hive Record Lounge!

I have been shopping with 3hive for years and they always have just what I’m looking for. BEST RECORD STORE EVER!!! Can’t wait to check out the place in-person one of these days!! ( shipping is always a breeze too and I love the extra fun stickers!)

one of my favorite record stores in utah. I bought the growlers - chinese fountain and mac demarco - salad days last year when I came. I need to get up here again and go because it's seriously such a cool record store. the used record selection is also really good. definitely recommend coming here.

Really great selections of CDs and Vinyls. They are all up to date, and the store is very clean and modern. There are expensive items but also plenty affordable items ad well.

I bought 3 records from the bargain section where 2 had the wrong records in the sleeves. Its my fault for not checking but sill. I was so excited for them and when I got home come to find out it's Paul Anka insted :(

I bought a record player 2 weeks ago, last week bought 3 records and Rick was awesome helped me find the albums I wanted and got had some fire deals! Definitely coming back love the friendly environment and super knowledgeable group!!!!

I don't know what these guys are doing in Provo because this might be the best record store in Utah (Please open a location in Salt Lake County). Super editorial, used records don't really seem like the highlight and totally fine with it.

Great record shop! A lot of newer vinyls but a great section for older ones too. The owner of the shop was really nice and we met his amazing dog too. We will make sure to come back here.

I bought a Boys Noize record from them a while back. My experience was really good! I asked them for pictures and they quickly responded back with me with the pictures! I'm definitely going to be a returning customer!

Great kids working here, nice store and ambiance, and a very nice selection. I am not much into vinyl records, which is ironic since I worked in the stereo industry for decades (but a lot of us veterans aren't), but my son is and I picked him up a present here. They packed it for shipping/transport for free, and their prices were the same or better than Amazon. I'll be back!

OMG! Can we just appreciate the utter kindness and organization in this store? Right off the bat when you enter the perfectly lit and decorated store you are greeted by gleaming employees who will ask you if you need help and will gladly answer any questions you have! The coolest part is that the workers i personally interacted with were passionate about records and vinyl collecting! Which just adds an authentic touch! The workers were super kind and the female worker who helped me shared my love of lana del rey, we had a full blown conversation about lana del rey! Very fun! For what this establishment is, it excels in everything a record shop needs to be great! Most if not ALL of the vinyls even the used ones looked good as new and there was no physical damage on any records! I was able to get a few rare titles and pressings from here before for an amazing price! The back area has chairs and a actual record player so you can pop one in, sit down and enjoy yourself! They also let me pick out free stickers when i purchased my records! I am VERY excited to come here for record store day 2022 just to see how organized the event will be! The records were perfectly and neatly organized alphabetically and wherever a name was, trust all the records they have of that artist WILL be there in the correct spot. Every time i visit Utah I make it a priority to stop by 3hive record lounge! Overall 5 stars, there is nothing wrong with this record store and there is no flaws! Really solid ambience and great employees! Had an authentic record store experience and i am so happy to add some new records to my collection! Thanks again for the free stickers!!!

Not your typical record shop which is a good thing. Clean, organized, very friendly staff. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will work to get it for you. Members of the staff will message me to let me know about music that they think I would enjoy. Their recommendations have been excellent. I recommend this store to all of my friends and music enthusiasts.

I was VERY impressed with their record collection. It was painful trying to narrow down what I would get now vs later (a great problem to have). I also love that you can look at their current inventory online to know what is available or not. I've both bought online where they then bring your purchase out to your car once it's ready and also browsed their selection in store. Both experiences were stellar and I highly recommend this record store to those in Utah!

Super cool record shop tucked just off University Av. Not a huge selection, but lots of variety. I found a lot that I liked in the used section and the prices are reasonable too! I liked that the workers basically left me alone to browse.

Went in about two weeks ago and loved it. They have a great inventory, and the staff was super helpful. They offered to place an order for a vinyl they didn't have in stock, and most additional fees were discounted. Great people and such a great location!
