Nice little coffee shop. Lost of options from drinks to food. The white chocolate mocha and the vanilla latte were sooo good! The ham and cheese was great! Loaded with ham and I mean loaded. Not like the pre-made ones with one little slice of ham. Awesome service! Super friendly staff and my new favorite coffee shop on this side of town.

I got a dulce de leche bar it was such a nice treat. I got a chicken breast panini and a matcha green tea latte 😋

Delicious, delicious, delicious!! This cozy coffee shop is a gem. The chicken pesto panini is incredible, with juicy chicken and a just-right pesto! It took a while to come out so if you’re on a short lunch break you might want to wait til after. The vanilla late was amazing too! Small shops have the best coffee. Lunch came out to around $15 for a fancy drink and sandwich which is about what I expected. Overall, this was WORTH IT!

Neat coffee shop with real cafe vibes, and sense of community! Out door seating with folks and their pups. Indoor was nice..lighting and vibe of the place feels how most cafes should. Small and cozy. Hearing the staff greet the regulars. Great vibes here. I ordered white thunder latte, and oat milk macchiato. Both were good. Flavors did have a syrup taste, which was sweet and artificial. Although the notes is coffee I got were nice. Lot of the folks around me had food, and everything looked, and smell delicious. Would really like back and try the food.

Moved to the area last week and found this gem. Great food, strong coffee and great customer service. I would even choose this place for a first date it’s so good!

I like the location of this cafe in Downey. Its across a dine in cinema and near the offices, bars, restaurants and police station. They serve freshly made sandwiches in croissants bagel or panini. Coffee is great too!

Hands down THE highest quality, foe the lowest prices. Food is so good here and employees are super cool. 5 stars, no question! Try their chicken panini 🤤🤤🤤

Despite waiting a long period time I was looking forward to the sandwich. Ate half super delicious got to 2nd half pulled hair out the cheese had to spit out what I already had in my mouth made me gag just knowing there was a hair inside my sandwich!!!! So sad bc this sandwich was actually good just wear hair nets next time please 🥲🥲

1st time & not the last. Awesome impression. Ordered 3 breakfast bagels to satisfy my craving, and do not regret it. 2 everything bagels- 1 had bacon 1 had turkey Both had egg, chipotle sauce, mozzarella cheese & egg & The 3rd was plain bagel with turkey sausage, mozzarella, chipotle sauce and cheese All 3 were consistent on the 10/10 Savory scale. All 3 were fresh & filled with generous portions. Prompt, professional service. Order was to-go, but may as well get a dine-in experience as there is a nice, ample seating area for good coversations, studying, etc. Location is a + too- in the "downtown" of Downey

Place has the vest quality for thr lowest prices. Food is SSOO good, quality unique drinks too! Bonus points: no tipping culture here

Great little cafe with good breakfast and coffee. No long waits like Porto's. lol Had the egg, cheese & sausage croissant breakfast sandwich and hot coffee.

Love it here... breakfast sandwiches and other lunch sandwiches are just so delicious here... it's quiet; I like to sit outside, and enjoy coffee while watching the day

Wanted Porto's for breakfast the other day but it was packed! So I walked around and stumbled across this cafe spot. When I got inside, there was only one person in front of me ordering. There were, however, a few people sitting inside and outside as well. I got an iced caramel macchiato and an iced white thunder coffee. The iced caramel macchiato had already been mixed which is fine but that's basically a latte at that point. The iced white thunder was also pretty good. I also got the chicken chipotle deluxe and it was amazing!!!! I got full with just one half! The wait for my order to come out was just about 25 minutes but I didn't notice because my boyfriend was with me and we were chatting about the movie theater across the street. I would recommend ordering online because if you order in person, it gets pretty packed inside. So if you're not a fan of small crowded places, keep that in mind.

Surprisingly tasty! I tried the Chicken Breast Deluxe sandwich with chipotle sauce. And omg was it YUMMY! What a good sandwich! All the ingredients tasted fresh, the ratios were all correct, and the bacon was cooked perfectly. AND THAT CHIPOTLE SAUCE! Super delicious. A SOLID SANDWICH. Would totally recommend! My husband had the white thunder. He thought it was pretty good, but just a tad bit sweet. I'd totally come back for that sandwich! And my husband would come back for coffee :)

I enjoy coming here when I'm in the area with friends. Their drinks are good & affordable which I truly appreciate.

We were on our way to Porto's but the line was long! I figured there would be a coffee shop close by and sure enough we stumbled upon this place based on the reviews. It was literally down the street, I ordered a hazelnut macchiato and we ordered a tiramisu and brownie to bring home. There was a bit of a line and it was busy so that was good for them. The place was small and clean, the customer service could have been a little bit more attentive but I get it they were busy. The coffee was good and so were the desserts. If ever in the area I would come back

This place is a hidden gem!!!! My husband and I went for the first time and we ordered the chicken breast deluxe panini, an egg and cheese everything bagel and a caramel latte blended and it was AMAZING!!! The owner took our order and she gave my 2 boys little shortcakes treats. I have known about this place for a while but just never went inside but I won't be able to pass by it anymore without having to stop inside. The workers were nice, and the ambiance was comforting with cute outside seating!

Good prices and great coffee. I always see people ordering the panini so I will have have to try next time

I love this little coffee shop! Their iced matcha latte with oat milk is the best. I usually get their turkey bacon avocado sandwich which i love but this last time I got the chicken breast deluxe panini & it was so good! The service is also always great. If you're looking for a cafe.. definitely check this place out!

My experience here was awful. Forgot about Mr drink as I sat in front of them and waited 15 minutes. I believe it was intentional as they smiled as I waited.

"It's Monday at 6:30 PM--place was completely empty, not a single customer in sight. You'd think that might mean decent service, but instead I was met with a rude cashier who acted like I was interrupting her day. She clearly didn't want to help and made no effort to be even remotely polite. When I finally did get my order, it was a mess--absolutely loaded with mustard and leaking all over the place. If you're looking for terrible service and sloppy food, this is the spot for you."

Stumbled upon this great cafe while walking in Downey. I usually visit the popular Porto's nearby but I wanted to try something new and this place looked like a cozy and perfect place. What drew me in was the nice signage out front with some menu items and the customers chilling in the outside seating area sipping their coffees.I love a cute but organized coffee shop with good food and drinks. I ordered a bacon avocado turkey croissant a Matcha latte iced. My sandwich was sooo good, just the way I like it. Favorite matcha drink thus far! Very nice presentation overall, busy but very comfortable ambience, pleasant and helpful service. Enjoyed everything!

First time coming here! Got the horchata iced latte, was really good in my opinion. Would say it was more milk based but wasn't overpowering,so if you need more expresso shots !

The cheese bar wasn't my favorite. My white thunder was amazing. Absolutely the best sweet treat coffee a girl could ask for. I would come again.

This place is always slow. I place orders 20-30 mins before I arrive and they don't start till 10 mins after I arrive. Nothing is ever ready

chicken panini deluxe - delicious would recommend - ambiance from staff could be better

Came in this morning as I had a makeup appointment near by (arrived 40 minutes before my appointment time). Waited about half an hour for a bacon, egg, and cheese. Saw about five other people come in and get their food/drinks. However, their matcha is very delicious!

Best Paninis!! A hidden gem and a must whenever I am in Downey :) I always call ahead to place my order and pick up since I am always on the go. They are always friendly and get my order right. Thank you!

First time visiting this little café. I'm quite impressed with the food, service and my café latte. The ladies at the counter are very cordial and make you feel welcomed even during their busy lunch hour. The ambiance is perfect for coffee and a book. I will definitely return with the family.

Turkey bacon sandwich. No Mayo, no mustard. Just wish the sandwiches were bigger for what you pay for.

I wanted to try a new place and I came across this little cafe. The staff is nice and attentive and the place is small yet comforting. I had the protein sandwich and it is loaded with flavors. The hazelnut macchiato is really good. Not overly sweet with a strong coffee taste just the way I like it.

Chicken panini deluxe and caffe latte was amazing. Super filling and great taste. I got the sandwich how it comes with everything and I must say the combination of mustard and ranch was surprisingly tasty. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I really liked the environment, felt warm and cozy. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

First time here and there was Plastic in my Power Protein Sandwich... got grossed out and couldn't eat it. Customer service was fine. I live far so didn't even get to go back and get a new one or refund.

I and My mom ordered a few things 2 iced waters Power Protein Sandwich No TomToe and jalapeños on the side Breakfast Bagel (sausage and Everything Bagel) Large Vanilla Latte Large Hazelnut Macchiato Customer service ****(4) Cleaningness ****(4) Atmosphere/Surroundings *****(5) across from the LOOK dine in Cinemas (this also a must as you can order food while you watch the movies ).

Cozy little spot for a quick coffee and bite to eat. Their pesto sandwich or BLT's are always so good! I enjoy their matcha as well, but definitely on the sweet side! There have been times I've ordered from here with coworkers and some items were missing and made wrong, but they've always been very accommodating. Things happen, I'm glad they're always more than happy to fix mistakes and try to make it up for us!

Almost took 40min to get my order, other costumes where getting their order before me and I am sure the online orders were taking priority. Who knows.

Maybe it's because it's New Year's Eve or we just got two workers that were upset to be working on New Year's Eve, but super uncool that they didn't tell us our drinks were ready. We were waiting at least 15 mins till we finally went up and asked for our drinks. The whole time the workers saw us waiting for our drinks and never did they tell us they were ready. At least the drinks are good, I'll give them that. But would I come back here again? Naw I wouldn't.

I had the protein breakfast sandwich with turkey avocado tomato jalapeño and egg white on multi grain bread it was delicious and I will definitely order again. I also had the chai tea on ice.

I absolutely love the owners here! I used to come to this spot when I was younger & the vibe of the place is still the same. We don't have many mama and pop coffee shops in Downey so it's beautiful they are still up in service. The items were tasty just like I remember them!

Came for a sandwich. This cafe has a lovely and quaint ambience. The sandwich and ingredients were fresh. I will come again and try their coffees!

Starbucks whooo ! I ordered a grande ice latte with almond milk and let me just say this was so bomb it was delicious and I also ordered a protein breakfast sandwich it was so delicious it had egg whites , turkey, avocado and tomato , The coffee spot was clean and cute definitely will be going back to order another sandwich and latte

I love this sweet coffee shop/café and Mary (owner) makes it feel so welcoming and inviting. Though I don't get there often enough (only when working in the area a few times/year, over many years) - I am always eager to return and order one of their delicious sandwiches, which are thoughtfully wrapped for take-out. I am so happy I came across this coffee shop!! It's so cute. We got 3 drinks - an iced vanilla thunder, an iced dulce de leche latte, and a hazelnut macchiato. All of them were amazing! The dulce de leche was my favorite though. We also got the protein bagel on a jalapeño bagel. It was also delicious and really big! The bagel seemed super fresh. I cannot wait to come back to try more drinks and the other bagel sandwiches! I also loved that the owner was there and taking orders. It shows how much she cares about her business.

First time going to this coffee shop. I got the panini chicken deluxe it was delicious. I also got a hot latte but it was barely warm, The employee that took our order was nice and helpful, I didn't say anything about the latte because they seemed busy. I walked in twice to grab the order and get a bag, the employee giving out the orders was not very nice I thanked her on both occasions and she didn't even look at me. Overall the shop is small and cute they have outdoor sitting Customer service needs a bit of work.
