Fantastic restaurant with a view! The food is great, staff are friendly and always checking in to make sure you have everything. The ribs are great and the chilli mussels. Toilets are kept clean and good selection of beer. Just be careful sitting outside with the mangy seagulls everywhere.

Great atmosphere and great food. We were served by Izzy who was very friendly and informative and helped out with some food selections. The wait times were short but that didn't take away from the quality of the food. The We had the Chilli Mussels, two sirloin steaks with creamy garlic prawns and the barramundi. Prices are as average as you can get at any pub/tav grub. Excellent lunch and will definitely come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at 3Sheets Hillarys. The grilled chicken burger was excellent—flavourful and perfectly cooked—and the corn ribs were a standout, full of texture and spice. The children’s menu was thoughtful and well-received, making it an enjoyable outing for the whole family. We ordered grill chicken also for our toddler and they really enjoy it. A warm thank you to the two serving staff for their friendly and professional service—it truly elevated our visit. Highly recommended for both the quality of food and the welcoming atmosphere.

If you haven’t been here, my gosh are you missing out! Upon recommendation from our host Tia, we ordered the cheesy garlic bread…. My gosh, the first tantalising bite was oh so delicious, the stringy cheese, the exotic flavours of the cheese mixed in with garlic made my taste buds cry out with exuberant joy. Came here for an early Mother's Day dinner on Saturday!!! The Ribeye on the bone was so lovely and well cooked. The potatoes and mushrooms were seasoned exceptionally also. The potatoes were crispy and much round had this amazing flavour I can't describe but they were delectable - I wish all mushrooms tasted like that! I must say, however my cocktail simply tasted like juice with hardly an alcohol content. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea as they're usually strong and that was also quite weak but not as weak as my first drink. Once it had gotten quieter and died down a little we decided to order dessert and a wine for my mother in law but staff didn't seem to want to come to our table and were more concerned about dirty dishes around us and cleaning from the busy night. We ask for a dessert menu and we're forgotten. We asked another staff member for a menu and were forgotten so we actually went to the till and asked the lady there for a dessert menu. Then took a long time for anyone to come take our order so we had to flag staff down to order the choc lava cake and wine. When we got the dessert it was so so delicious and worth the wait so we were satisfied. It was extremely busy so it was understandable they had a lot of clean up but paying attention to patrons that are still eating would still be recommended. We will come back again as the food is divine but maybe on a less busy night ☺️

Our group of elderly women enjoyed their dining experience at the 3Sheets on August 5th. The young men who waited table were attentive and professional, the food was plentiful and beautifully presented. We enjoyed gathering around the fire to complete our lovely lunch gathering. Half-price pizzas are the real deal! Plenty of delicious options and the servings are super generous. 🍕 Great live music, a relaxed atmosphere, and beautiful beach views. 🌅🎶

I met a friend here for lunch and it was great. Wonderfully diverse menu from cooked meals to stuff like burgers. It's perfect for friendly catch-ups. Particularly cosy on windy winters and I imagine it would be equally as heavenly in the summer. Highly recommend. Booking Is advisable.

There food made me feel sick as I know a freind who worked there and had there tax bracket upgraded as a casual worker illegally and the tax was docked by the owner. The reason the head chef blamed the person as the worker was a downed person used for there gifts to make the food taste divine, the family of the worker told the owner that docking there tax makes the worker upset and makes patrons feel good about the food and drink. Now no one feels good about 3 sheets.

3 Sheets has an eclectic menu, in a fun area for tourists. My companion and I had a steak and a burger, but the restaurant options much more. The restaurant has ample seating and a good atmosphere. The fries and steak were above average. My companion enjoyed her burger. The salad that came with the steak wasn't totally cohesive.

Ordered a pizza, chips and a couple of drink on a Thursday afternoon which wasn't busy. The chips were cold and pizza dough under cooked. Lucky the beer was cold.

Food is way overpriced, I had a barramundi and chips for $33 which sounded standard until I got a serving that would be barely enough for a kid's meal. Drinks weren't good either. Lemon lime and bitters, and a fire engine both 90% soda/tonic water with no flavour. Service is great though and it's in a nice spot at the harbour but they are definitely cutting corners.

This place looked like it would expensive, especially been in a high tourist area. Much to my surprise it's was really well priced. My friends had the Thai green mussels and before eating they looked yum. And very generous with the portion. I tasted them and they were so good. I ordered the slow cooked lamb shank and it did not disappoint. The meat fell off the bone and was juicy. I can't wait to go back.

Big improvement from previous owners. I will state, you will not be hungry. It seems that their house beers and wines are quite good and the 3 sheets brand is tasty also. This place used to be deafening to eat in. They have almost fixed it. Great job on that! Food wise, it's big, really big. Every portion is enormous. Almost seems a waste. Higher than average standard for Hillaries, but nothing stand out. Service wise, there seemed to be new staff, but they were pleasant and fun. Overall a great night out, but only an average venue. Plenty of room, good food, good drinks and good service. It has the potential to do a lot more with what they have.

Average but reliable choice for eating with friends. Positives: Massive menu to choose from, everything tasting great. Large tables available for bookings. Reasonable choice of beers and ciders on tap. Great atmosphere. Allow split billing if you work out how much you owe. Negatives: Can get very loud, and hot in summer. Wait staff not very knowledgeable (don't ask them for advice on food or beer, they won't know anything and make no effort to pretend they do either!) I ate here last night and had much the same experience as the other 4-5 times I've been there. The food is ok, nothing exciting. It's a nice venue for group dinners, just don't have high expectations for food and service.

We have dined here several times over the years. I always find the lighting very poor and adds a dingy feeling and the tables chairs cramped restricting leg & elbow motions while almost sitting in your friends lap, we also could not readily see any hand sanitiser at the door or reception area. Which might be worthwhile at the present time. Tonight 11/09/2020, Our regular dinner friends came together and dived head first into delicious nachos well presented with great colour & flavours from different parts of the plate. A modified Bruschetta, Rump steak, Squid salad. Table service was excellently performed informative with food choice suggestions. The Squid salad was excellent as was the nachos well worth a second round. The Bruschetta lacked that basil herb tingle and definitely required more fresh younger tomato's to liven it up. The Rump was different almost a radiated pale anaemic appearance and just a small rolled lump of meat more like a off cut roast and delivered just warm boring. I would suggest going back to a grill to work those meaty sugars and give some colour it wasn't that tender and chewy but a low to medium flavour, the Pepper gravy was just a plain old powdered packet gravy poor in flavour and no real body .. $29 I expected that little bit more... Now the leafy salad was a powerful package lots of multi leaves & colours but sadly lacking more tomato, cucumber, onion and other crunchy additions... The chips where spot on.

We had been looking forward to trying 3sheets for a while, as we had heard great things about it. The service was friendly and welcoming, drink menu had a good variety, and the food was lovely. We had a pizza and a burger for mains; both delicious and good serving sizes. It would've been a bit easier if the burger was on a plate not a board, as it was a bit fiddly to eat, but that didn't compromise the taste at all! Overall, 3sheets is a lovely restaurant for couples or families. It ticks all the right boxes :-)

Just went to there separated side, Portside Cafe. Fantastic set up, great food and top end service. No need to book, simply walk in, grab your seat and hit the bar to order your meal. Tonight was Steak night for $12, 300g steak, fries and coleslaw served with a side of mushroom sauce, all served on a medium size cutting board. Also picked up the sides of Cheese garlic bread and spicy corn fritters. Asked for a medium rare steak and that was precisely what I received, so soft that the steak knife went thru it in a couple of slices and melt in my mouth delicious. The corn fritters were nice and spiced, the only let down was the cheese was not as evident in the garlic bread as I would have liked, though still very tasty. Great for nice night out before a big night out, a nice family get together or for the regular catch up with the boys or girls. Definitely heading back to try out there Wednesday night rib night for $18.

We actually went to Portside grill, it was great! Nice pubby atmosphere and yummy food. I had the onion rings and a hot chicken burger (not too spicy, just nice). The bun was a soft brioche and the batter on the onion rings was nice and light. There was live music as well and the prices were very reasonable (which is why we decided to go to Portside instead of 3Sheets). I will be back!

Tasty, uncomplicated pub grub style food. I challenge you to not ask for a takeaway container, because their meals are huge! We ordered a vego nachos and super salad, which were good enough that we kept eating even after we both said we were full! There are plenty of big, hearty meat options as well and the chips look yellow and crisp. I saw the steak go past our table and my eyes popped, it was GINORMOUS! Definitely the place to go if you're after a quick meal and are absolutely ravenous for some delicious tucker

It was a rather chilly day to attend but it was warm and snugg on the inside Service was good, food was enjoyable - I had the nachos which was a very generous portion! Only disappointment that I had was when I went to the front counter to leave and pay, I was told to move back to my table ( which had now been cleared) to wait to pay. It was a bit unsettling but after raising my concern that I wanted to leave and pay, I was assisted and could be on my way

Best thing; Feral Hop Hog on Tap @ $11 pint Location : sheltered inside patio is best on a warm day Not so great: We had a late lunch on a Sunday arvo and opted for the Pulled Pork Nachos - the idea was good - the execution, whilst reasonably tasty, was poor, small and expensive for an entree size dish. At $22 we expected more .....and for most of the Corn chips not to be soggy (microwaved perhaps?) When wet and dry ingredients are baked/heated together in same dish it is quick and easy for the chef .... but the fluids are absorbed by the dry chips. Dissapointing. We walked back to the car and noticed that the Purple Goat Cafe from North Beach has reopened at Hillarys next to The Breakwater Pub... they were always good so will try that out next time.

Haven't been here in a while! Me and my girlfriend decided to come here for a little trip right before I got my haircut, went in not expecting much but my god it was pretty damn good ! Sat on the portside section and got the seafood platter to share (posted a photo) and it was pretty damn good besides the crab wasn't the greatest and got a couple lemon lime bitters ! It was $50 for the platter with so much in it !! Would certainly come again, you have to get up and go to the bar to order which is no problem, great decor and very clean! Nice service too!

I went with high hopes. It was not as good as I was hoping for, service was quite poor we finished our meals and were quickly hustled out with still half a bottle of wine remaining.

I haven't been to Hillarys for quite a while so was quite happy to stay fro lunch after we'd been to watch an event up there on Sunday morning. We decided to try 3 Sheets as it looked nice, quite busy and id read some good reviews previously. I'm glad we did as we had a lovely lunch, I had the pan fried barramundi with was deliciously soft on the inside with gorgeous crispy skin. It came with sweet potato fries which normally I'm a bit hesitant to order as they can be soggy but they were lovely and crunchy, it also came with a nice fresh salad and lemon aioli. Hubby had the deep fried Barramundi which came with chips, salad and a green chilli mayo, his was also really good, both were pretty large portions but we managed to finish them off! The staff were nice, the ambience was great, very busy place, live music was good too! The prices were reasonable and they have a good selection of food and drinks I would recommend this place, it's pretty loud but I like that!

Was really impressed on my visit to this casual restaurant/cafe at Hillarys. We shared the cheese arancini and chorizo to start. No complaints, very tasty. My dad had the spicy chicken pizza, which was a risk for a guy who normally orders steak, but he really enjoyed it. Mum and I ordered the beef cheek pasta...SO DELICIOUS! Such a memorable and tasty meal that I would return just for that (even though there's other things I'd like to try). Service was quick and friendly and it has a nice atmosphere at night with the lights. Probably a tad pricey but it comes with the location. In the Entertainment book though!

Huge portions, and reasonable food. I was a bit disappointed - their menu offered gf option for the delicious sounding burgers, but it turned out that it wasn't with gluten free bread/bun, it was with a tortilla instead of a bun, which didn't appeal. Apart from these burg-illas, the only gf options were salads and nachos. The beef nachos were large, and tasted fine, but most of the corn chips were soggy. The food service was incredibly fast though - literally only a few minutes from order to delivery - and all the dishes were big enough that none of us cleared our plates. Also disappointing was that the cider I'd liked the look of on the menu was out of stock. The live music was good, but that and the many other diners coming in meant we could barely hear each other talk. While the service was fast and the servings huge, the lack of options to my taste means I probably won't go back in a hurry.

I have been to this restaurant twice. The first time I went for lunch and had the halloumi burger which was absolutely delicious. The second time I went for dinner and ordered the gnocchi. It comprised of a very rich tomato sauce and the gnocchi was very heavy, which I struggled to eat. I would definitely go back to eat the halloumi burger!

Service was good and very attentive, as it was a Monday there was a two for one deal on the pizza . Prawn was very good but the Italian sausage was ordinary . Will be back

Great outlook over the Hillarys boardwalk and beach. Menu is pretty standard with wood fired pizzas, few seafood dishes and other meat or burger choices. Food was ok without being really enjoyable. Service was quick and friendly enough. Overall nice place to go for a casual lunch, is family friendly and something on the menu to keep all happy.

When in Perth, have the Barrumundi (fish). I thought the fish was cooked perfectly and accompanied by a hearty greek salad with thick chunks of feta. I asked the server for the wifi password (as I was from out of town and didnt have cell service), and he said he couldn't give it to me bc too many people were taking up the bandwidth. The manager later gave me the password. I ordered a cider from a local brewery with was good. Service was fine-sort of slow; expect it to be a bit different than in the states as servers don't work for tips-yes, gratuity and tax are included in listed prices.

Only thing wrong is the mistakes with the orders... but they sortrd that out with minimal fuss and delay. Atmosphere is like a popular pub but family friendly. Right on the waterfront at Hillarys. Love the decor, and your usual Australia family restaurant foods. I had the hot beef sandwich, my date had tortellini. Both delicious. Drinks from local breweries and cideries too. Id definitely come back. Great for groups. They also do coffee and tea. Recommend for a Sunday session thats not as busy as the Breakwater.

Lovely barramundi and glass of wine 3.5 stars. Good service 3.5 stars Location, pram access 4.5 stars. Although the food was good, they were out of a lot of things we wanted, midori, pineapple juice, one or two things on the menu, one being the tasting plate.

Great wood fired pizza. Casual vibe. Colouring in for the kids. All the staff we encountered were great. No problem with shorts and thongs. I like the way the food comes out whenever it's ready. We got our meals a few minutes apart.. No problem.. Only issue, is its quite a loud restaurant. The place was quite full, and the ambient noise was too loud to chat without leaning in and somewhat shouting. A few acoustic treatments wouldn't go astray here. Good stuff!

Good place for a casual meal. 4 of us shared 4 tapas plates for lunch last Sunday. Service was good and the tapas was tasty and reasonably priced at around $12 a place. Dishes came out as they were ready, as they advertise, which is not too much of a problem although I would prefer them at least 2 at a time as we ate all of the first before the second came out, but that is how they say they will serve them. We look forward to trying an evening meal.

We had a really poor experience at three sheets a couple of weeks ago. For me service is imperative, the lad who showed us to our self serve table was lovely, the girl serving there was so rude! I go to 3 sheets because I love mussels and they've got two different kinds, chilli and Thai, both are tasty, I wish I could give 2.5 stars because the mussels are super good. They never had any mussels this night, which is cool but it wasn't on the board that says whats unavailable. (There were three other mains unavailable on the board though) the girl serving at the bar could not have been more rude when I tried to order mussels and said "did you not read the board? We don't have mussels!" When I said it wasn't on the board she rolled her eyes at me. I can appreciate she was really busy and it was totally understaffed but a little kindness goes a long way. So gutted and put off. Please get more staff 3 sheets it'll Make for happy customers and staff. It's got the atmosphere and yummy food (when available) just need more staff.

Long wait for food. 8 people at the table and the food all arrived at different times. Therefor if you are having Tapas you get the different dishes you have ordered over a very long period of time and cannot enjoy the food as you had planned. The head chef crosses the food off the docket as it comes out the kitchen and we ordered 2 squid which he crossed off when only one had been delivered. A reminder was all that was needed to get the second squid but as the food is all arriving at different times you do not know if it has been forgotten or just late. Cannot just have a beer without ordering food, so cannot even protest about the long wait and walk out as you have already paid for your food. Once food arrived it was good or maybe I was just that hungry then. At the moment this establishment is not worth the wait. If they are still open in a year and have got their act together they might be worth revisiting. However, there are far too many well organised proper restaurants in the area for 3 Sheets to be first, second or fifth choice.

Food was below average. Service was even worse. Ordered a Pint of Cider & it was completely flat. Wouldn't go back.

Really did not want to post my first review and it be quite negative, but unfortunately my experience was not that good. I had dinner with my girlfriend and her family, and I was left pretty disappointed. Firstly, we were sat by the front and the lighting was really quite dark. Had complaints all around the table over the inability to properly see the menu due to the dim lighting. Second, all meals (entree and mains) were arriving at very different times. Me being very old school with the way I am, got stuck with a cold entree as I waited for everyone else's entrees to arrive - not ideal at all. The same occurred with the mains, except this time it was my main arriving roughly 15 minutes after everyone else's. Luckily I insisted they all eat, not wait. I cannot stand it when that happens - I only ordered the Nachos by the way. Third issue, with my entree - I had shared a dip plate with my girlfriend. All was fine with the entree apart from one really annoying part - the olive dip (yes, you guessed it) had a few bits of crushed pips in it - a real pain in the tooth. Luckily I have extremely strong teeth. Still not good and quite an annoying end to a tasty entree. Lastly, as I was having a chip from the shared plate, I come across a very long hair - I was very much disgusted and just couldn't touch the rest of the food. That's one of my biggest off putters in a restaurant. They only offered to take the chips off the bill also, pretty poor effort considering that it put us all quite off our meals. I will however say some positives. The wait staff were very kind and friendly. They were great at communicating. The food was pretty decent, minus the hair situation. Also the size of the meals were more than substantial. Hope that everyone else's experiences will be much better than mine.

3 sheets - well ! One of the worst places we have been - customer service poor in fact arrogant, rude probably describes the staff. when our order arrived it felt like it wasn't given just thrown at us like we were animals. They forgot to bring the side dish which appeared with the same attitude as previous - would highly NOT RECOMMEND 3 SHEETS and without doubt could get better food and drinks at far better value than them in Hillary's - Portifino's was 100 % better Poor Rating from me - if I could give lower than 1 star I would

Love 3sheets, always good service and great portioned sized meals that are tasty! Decently priced :-)

Waiters wouldn't give us a table. Apparently inside was different to outside. Wanted to buy 6 pints got told to go to the bar. When we went to order at the bar we were told we needed a table. Ordered food and we're treated like shit. 10/10 would not go again. I would die before giving them my custom.
