We happen to land at this great little tiki bar on its seventh year anniversary, making it the longest running tiki bar in that part of Texas! The drinks were phenomenal and I got to see a fire show that would’ve never been possible in California lol leave it to Texas to do everything bigger and better! Wish we lived closer!!!

Wow we love a good tiki bar and this is one of the best! Chris C is so friendly and fun to talk to! Cocktail are so delicious and reasonably priced! The ambiance is perfect! Finally met the owner and he is such a friendly cool guy! Arlington has some very cool places to visit but this is at the top of my go to list

What a gem in Arlington! We were looking for a fun spot to hang at before our trip to Mexico, and 4 Kahunas was definitely JUST the right place!! I really am so glad that Arlington has some great spots like this now, as I always felt it was a part of DFW that had way more potential. 4 Kahunas has a wonderful ambiance that I honestly prefer over many of the very hyped up tiki bars back in Los Angeles. The service inside is chill, relaxed, and personable. You don't feel rushed, but they also get out your drinks without delay. I was also impressed by just how STRONG yet also fruity and flavorful many of the drinks were!! Just two drinks each had both of us VERY pleased and chatty for the whole night, while at a lot of other places, it would've taken at least twice as many to feel as....vibey! ;) For some spectacle, I definitely recommend either The Tiki Torch or Jet Pilot, both of which they light on fire!! And quite the flames they were! I also loved the Zombie cocktail - just consider yourself warned that it is indeed VERY strong! Needless to say I loved 4 Kahunas. It's a definite must (in my book) for a night out in Arlington!

A must stop if you are in Arlington to get your tiki on. The drinks are delicious and made with top shelf liquor/ingredients. You will not be disappointed. Dark as a tiki bar should be, Friendly service and fantastic drinks on rhe menu. And if you see Rambo (very cute, friendly pup) in the house it's a bonus.

The atmosphere here was welcoming. Our waitress was kind and so was her little doggo. I tried the Blue Hawaiian and it was fantastic! I recommend this place if you’re wanting some really good mixed drinks.

Every year I make a pilgrimage to Dallas for a horror convention with friends. Since my last visit my friends have gotten into Tiki drinks. Let me tell you, visiting 4 Kahunas was like sitting in an early 60s ultra cool movie. The place is smallish and located near AT&T Stadium. The ambiance is all out Tiki. There were a couple of low key dogs roaming around in the place, adding a positive laid back vibe. Enough about the room, the drinks were the highlight. They have an extensive menu and they all looked enticing. The prices were reasonable. Anywhere from $9 to $14 depending on what you order. The drinks were very tasty and deceptively strong. I understand the allure of Tiki now. However, I am very grateful we took an Uber. These packed a punch. Bottom line worth the visit and worth the experience!

What a cool place! Ambience is wonderful! Did I just get transported to Honolulu?!?! Drinks are great, with the special extra touches. Romantic, cozy little place!!

Almost 6 years later and the rating holds true. The cocktails here never disappoint. The flavors range from citrusy to sweet, to boozy, to bittersweet. Something for everyone. It can not be stressed enough that patience is the key here. This is not a vodka soda. There are many ingredients involved, and many drinks have cool and decorative designs (see photos). These are well crafted by fantastic bartenders. If you want a quick drink, this probably isn't the right place. This spot is all about amazing drinks in an amazing environment. A little oasis.

I enjoy coming to tiki bars and I'm from LA and searched for one local. I'm glad to have stumbled to this one because also next door is an arcade game place too. Entering the tiki bar, the ambiance was awesome and there was also the bartenders chocolate lab there to Grizzly bear that I simply loved. He was laying down and got some good pets. The drinks are awesome and affordable plus I collect tiki mugs and I will say that it's more affordable compared to others that I have bought. Deff will come back again.

I love tiki bars! I try to visit as many as I can! This one had the usual tropical decor, boozy cocktails in fun glasses, Godzilla playing on the tv...but what made this tiki bar better than the others, was our bartender, Logan. He obviously loves making cocktails not just drinks but experiences (as seen in my videos).

Went to visit 4 Kahunas Tiki Lounge again after 48 thousand years. Haha To kick off our tropical journey for the night, I decided to try the Tropical Itch cocktail. This refreshing concoction combined Over Proof Rum, Over Proof Bourbon, Lime Juice, Passion Fruit, Dry Curacao, and Bitters. A classic from '57! The flavors created a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, It will leave you yearning for another sip. Next on the line up was the Pirates Port. Crafted Dark Rum, Ruby Port, Lemon Juice, Passion Fruit, and Tea this drink had a distinct kick. For those seeking a bold and potent libation, the Zombie was an absolute standout. This powerful concoction featured a blend of 151 Rum, Golden Rum, Dark Rum, Lime Juice, Passion Fruit, Grapefruit Juice, Pineapple Juice, Absinthe, and bitters. With each sip, the Zombie awakened my taste buds with its intense flavors and a touch of tropical mystique. It was a true testament to the skilled craftsmanship of the mixologists at 4 Kahunas. As described on their menu "A couple of these may give you that "zombie walk", so watch out!" Last but certainly not least, We indulged in the classic Blue Hawaiian cocktail. This tropical delight with combined Light Rum, Coconut, Blue Curacao, Lemon Juice, Pineapple Juice and Coconut. Served in an eye-catching glass garnished with a beautiful purple Dendrobium orchid. The flavors melded together harmoniously, creating a refreshing and visually appealing drink. Beyond the exquisite cocktails, 4 Kahunas boasted an lively atmosphere. The décor, music, and friendly staff all contributed to the awesome experience, making us feel like we had escaped to a tropical oasis. The bartenders were knowledgeable, passionate, and eager to guide us through their menu, ensuring that each drink was crafted to perfection. This place is truly a tropical escape.

This is a bar. And by bar, I mean drinks and not food. You will like it if: * you like tropical drinks and the tiki scene * you like small places that won't get overrun with people * you like bar dogs. There's a great one here. This is definitely a fun place to go and hang out!

We had such a fun first visit to this hidden Tiki Lounge! The bartender was friendly and helpful. The drinks were refreshing and worth the price. I can't wait until we can slip away to paradise again soon!

Let me take you back to 2018. I was but a new graduate, celebrating my graduation in Myrtle Beach, SC. I sidled up to the bar. It was an island themed bar, but no tiki bar. I showed the bartender my ID. "Whoa!!!! You are in Arlington? Tell me you've been to 4 Kahunas? It's like one of 5 bars in the US outside Hawaii that is like a 'real' tiki bar." At that time, I had. In fact, I very coincidentally went during the first week they were open. At that time, the bartenders were new, but the drinks were strong. Now, let me take you back to 2019. I was getting off of work on a Thursday and wanted a treat. I stopped into 4 Kahunas. I grabbed my usual (the painkiller) and a man came in with a Jason and Freddy tiki cup. The bartender talked with them at length about the cups, and you could tell the bartender knew his stuff. Since then I have learned there is a whole collector culture. Let me not forget - many nights, the owner will come out and play the big drum with traditional songs. Very cool. This has become the "go to" stop when bringing folks from out of town. With a group of 4 you can order a bowl (SUPER strong) and it comes with a show. As a single patron, I suggest the painkiller. This is just such a unique spot, a true gem. If you are in Arlington, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Been going here since they opened and I've never had a bad experience. The owners and bartenders are always welcoming and helpful in picking out a delicious drink. The ambiance (both decoration, music, it TV visuals) is a perfect getaway from the stress of a long day and will transport you into an underwater tropical grotto full of low shifting colored lights, Island music, and old cult classic monster movies. It's the perfect place to entertain visitors from out of town or to make your local regular spot. Off peak hours are quiet enough for a nice long chat and the regulars are accommodating and welcoming as well. If you're lucky enough to come in when Chris is working, you'll also be greeted by Griz, the lovable chocolate lab, who's chill demeanor is sure to put a smile on your face. Do yourself a favor and put it on your "must try if in Arlington" list. You won't be disappointed.

This is a low key place and it's definitely different. I loved the ambience. The drink's definitely made me feel like I was on a vacation. MUST TRY!!

A lovely cute, little quant spot! Probably only fits like 50 people, intimate, and great drinks! Great spot to stop at for post meal drinks or just a break from shopping. The customer service was great, the drinks were great, and I love dim lighting! The only reason it is not a 5 star is because I feel like some good music would've been the cherry on top for me. When we went there wasn't music playing and it just took away from the ambiance. That's more just preference but I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area. Gotta go now, bye bye then!

Came by here after a Rangers game. I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and I'm super glad I went! Place is super small and was pretty quiet for a Wednesday afternoon. The drinks were PERFECT. I don't like overly sweet drinks, therefore tiki bars aren't usually my thing, so when I liked every drink I had, I was dumbfounded. I trusted the bartender with all of my drink choices after he chose so well for the first one. The place was decorated like your typical tiki bar. Will definitely be back here soon!

I don't exactly think of Arlington when I envision a tropical paradise, but 4 Kahunas really delivered a taste of Hawaii on our recent visit on a quiet Sunday evening. Their huge selection of Mai Tais and other tropical cocktails impressed us as we enjoyed them with friends in their comfortable decor, all wicker, rattan, and palm fronds. The bartender was knowledgeable and quick with a recommendation. A great spot for a fun, out-of-the-ordinary cocktail in the mid-cities.

This is literally my favorite place in all of DFW. They're the first tiki bar in North Texas and still the best out of the 4! Every time we have a chance my husband and I go. We also take any of our friends that come in from out of town. Five stars just isn't enough! Staff is super friendly and kind and the bar dog, Grisly, is just so cute. Can't wait to go back! (Maybe tonight?!)

Coolest lil bar ! Visiting from out of town and wanted to go local. Great find ! The drinks were made from fresh juice and aren't overly sweet. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you like fresh handmade cocktails this is a must try.

Though my friends & I had a good time, it was not worth the drive from Dallas. When we arrived there was no bartender or employees in sight for a while. The only ppl present were a couple talking about whether the large brown dog hanging out was friendly. The dog was much friendlier than the bartender, who said and did the bare minimum in between disappearing for stretches of time. We wrongly assumed the daiquiri was frozen and when the bartender noticed our confusion, he said "well you ordered it," with a glare, set down the drinks and went back to whatever he was doing in back or front of the bar. The drinks were fine; Cobra Fang was good. We would like to have ordered more but didn't want to get stuck waiting to close out if he left again. There's no table service or food, and you help yourself to water on the side of the bar. Definitely NOT aloha!

4 Kahunas is a great little tiki lounge in Arlington, Texas near the Division street area. There are sooo many drinks on the menu and my group tried several. These do take awhile to make, so be patient. The drinks are definitely worth the wait. Each drink we tried was excellent. The atmosphere is very eclectic and it is also very dark inside. I didn't mind this too much except for the blast of bright sunlight everytime the front door opens. I would suggest to sit facing away from the door if you visit during the day.

Decor is great, and the drinks are a lot of fun. Not a large bar, and in an area you'd least expect it (like many good Tiki Bars). I came at a pretty slow time, but I thought their painkiller was absolutely delicious. I feel like if you can have a Navy-Strength rum in a drink, and it's so yummy you hardly notice - you've got a good tiki drink. Would be back, and I'll be bringing friends!

Came in after a Cowboys game to wait out the traffic. Walking in, was immediately greeted warmly by Maggie and took in the decor, which was spot on, with a Godzilla movie playing on the television. n the course of the evening I had the Tropical Itch, Saturn and the boozy hot chocolate. The drinks were perfectly prepared and served in a fun atmosphere. The owner JB came in later and shared how he came to open the bar. This is a great spot that i'll return to next time in town.

What a great place. Positive vibes as soon as you walk in. The menu is a bit overwhelming, so just ask the bartender for direction. They are warm, and friendly. Colorful and well decorated, fits the theme to a tee. I do wish they had some type of food menu to go along with everything, not necessarily full meals but things from the culture to match.

Great drinks definitely will go back! Environment was great, chill crowd, and grizzly bear was amazing company!

After we ordered a few drinks they told us they were unable to continue serving us because they didn't want to "over-serve" us. we were not acting unruly or anything like that in any way. We weren't even driving, we took an Uber. Will not be returning

Christmas in Hawaii?? Yes please! While I'm sure that the decorations when we went are seasonal, the overall vibe of the place was awesome. We were looking for a chill place to close the night out and literally came upon this by chance (had dinner at Cane Rosso nearby). It's a small place that you'd easily miss driving by it, but we decided to take a chance and check it out. It was pleasantly warm and almost humid (a good humid) inside that you literally felt like you were at a tiki bar in Hawaii. The servers are all wearing Hawaiian shirts and were all super friendly and helpful when making recommendations. We have a friend that just moved back from Hawaii and we think he'd like this place just for the vibe, especially during the colder weather! I had the Lady Angelica and my husband had the Kahuna Cup. Both were good if you're looking for a fruity, sweet alcoholic drink or "dessert" to end the night. Oh and best part - they have a sweet chocolate lab named Grizzly who would come by frequently to get a pet. Go check it out!!

This is a great find in the Arlington area. The bartenders are great and make some mean tiki drinks. The vibe is laid back and gets you in that tiki mood.

Ok, I love this place. It is consistently one of my favorite tiki bars, with fantastic drinks and a great atmosphere. This visit was even better than usual, thanks to the great experience with Kris our bartender. The quality of the drinks and the artistry of the presentation are next level. Seriously, if you haven't been here yet - fix that because you are missing out. Try some of their great menu items, and ask you bartender what they are cooking up.

First time here! And it won't be the last! I've heard great things about the establishment and had to check it out! My mother and I were instantly greeted by Tanya the bartender! She gave us great information regarding the drinks! She was very friendly and attentive throughout our whole visit! The vibe in here is intimate and good vibes. It's a darker setting and the decor/music makes you feel like you're on an island. Here's what I ordered: Kahunas Painkiller: $11 9/10 -- one of their favorites here Golden Monkey: $12 10/10 - if you love rum and yumminess this is the one! I also ordered a $6 cannibals kiss shot! Super strong and had to sip on it! Hahaha my type of drink! Everything is full of flavor and the perfect amount of alcohol. I will be back with a group of my homegirls!

We found this awesome little gem in Yelp, ignored the last 1 star review (knowing there is a Karen around) & we are SO HAPPY we came here! Owner JP is truly an awesome & welcoming guy; Chris came in later and we had an awesome time, talking about drinks, life etc. The place is a bit dark when you first walked in and when our eyes adjusted, it is a beautiful, well decorated and super colorful/clean bar. We ordered Blue Hawaiian and Painkiller cocktails. We both don't like sweet drinks and JP made it just the way we want. Chill happy hour or just because you want to feel like you are on a vacation... we highly recommend this place! We will be back again...

This hidden gem makes you feel like you've left the DFW area and walked into a bar on a far away tropical island resort. And with over 40 drinks on the menu, there is sure you'll find one you live to help you unwind!

I had a great time! Love the chill vibe and doggy "griz" ( I think) definitely will come back! Definitely one of my fav drink spots now. I came on a Wednesday afternoon, it was not super packed but super chill and nice.

Okay so I looooove the fact that the staff wears masks, that social distancing is enforced, and to top it off, it's as whole fucking vibe! Drinks are incredible. We got the Brain Child (Light Rum, melon liqueur, blue curaçao, pineapple and lime), the kahuna pearl diver (A blend of aged demerara and other rums), and a cannibals kiss shooter (Pineapple, Passion Fruit and OFTD) Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating + parking is free!

It is very very dark inside. That being said, the flaming cocktails help illuminated your booth! Cocktails exactly as expected - sweet and a bit on the pricey side but unique and fun on occasion!

We stopped in at 4 Kahunas for a fun time and we had one! The bartender was absolutely freaking awesome and so helpful with drink choices, the atmosphere is adorable and the whole vibe is great. The drinks are really fun and clearly craft cocktails. Will visit again for sure!

This is a great spot for drinks and the relaxing tiki atmosphere is a great spot for a night out. The attention to detail for ensuring a look and feel of a tiki bar getaway really says a lot of the owners of this establishment. They have a created a fun, relaxing, and cool place to grab a few unique gram worthy couple of drinks. Be sure to add them to your list of favorite bars.

I loved this little spot. From past reviews, it seems like the area has grown but this spot is still small and intimate. The decor matches the name! Not your usual bar decor which we loved. Both bartenders were very kind and welcoming! They were so friendly to us. The drinks are the cutest drinks! And they pack a punch! I hope to visit again!

I would have to say that this is one of the best Tiki lounges in the DFW area. I enjoy just about every drink they have on the menu. The lounge is not huge but it's very comforting when you do walk in the door.

Screw this place! Apparently "talking loudly" means you're drunk and they don't serve you! Don't waste your money on this place! They don't have a sense of humor either. Joking that "you're drunk" gets you thrown out. The music is loud what do you expect???

This place is absolutely AHHHMAZING! Atmosphere is phenomenal! Great & Friendly service, great craft cocktails and presentations, && great atmosphere! My fiancé and I will be coming every time we're going to a Rangers game.
