"One of the true hidden gems in this pocket of the downtown core is the Roof Gardens located at 401 Richmond. Beginning informally about 20 years ago by Property Manager, Mike Moody, the once-barren area is has flourished much like its tenants in this arts-centric space." - Jam3

Art building with many floors and rooms displaying artwork. Also a coffee shop with great selection of food and drinks. For sure I’ll be back to explore more and relax with cup of coffee ☕️😄👍🏼

One of my absolute favorite buildings in the city! I always have such a lovely time visiting. They have many great galleries that feature local artists with frequent exhibitions. The courtyard is also lovely :)

Visited this Art Gallery during the White Night on October 1st where there were presenting in their little garden “music video clips” from the 50s and 60s, a type of vintage YouTube, using the original film technology. Spent there over an hour. It was like going back in time. Of course, I visited the rest of the gallery. The art in conjunction with the architecture of the building has a distinctive spirit. I go there sometimes, plus it’s free! It also hosts numerous art and more organizations, so super cool.

Nice building with many art galleries and creative businesses. There is even a daycare. Hidden gem of a space in Toronto. Call ahead to make an appointment at the art galleries for a viewing. Usually no walk ins.

There’s a lot going on in the building so there’s a lot to see. We were under the impression that the rooftop garden was open to the public, and had heard that it previously was a long time ago. Though when we visited, the rooftop garden policy had been changed to only be accessible by tenants. This update was not posted on their website.

While it is a maze of a place, the winding hallways have a certain charm which makes the network of galleries quite immersive. I curated a visual multimedia gallery with the JAYU studio on the third floor and it was a wonderful experience. One of my favourite buildings in downtown Toronto.

I found this place truly artistic and appealing. The buildings has many interesting offices. Moreover, the superior interior design of the building makes the place an ideal place to enjoy the artworks while seating on comfortable chairs and sofas. Definitely recommend :)
