404 Coffee Has The Best COFFEE And Breakfast!!! The ATLANTA And Cozy Atmosphere Makes You Feel Right At Home. The Prices Are Reasonable, Food Is Delicious And The Staff Are Polite. That Place Brings Me So Much Peace!

Google
My wife and I had a great time here! We were nervous to try something new at first but 404 did not disappoint. Our favorite part about this spot was the food. It was super fresh and levels above your local Starbucks or dunkin in terms of quality and taste. The vibe is amazing and you learn a lot about Atlanta and what it has to offer through their city inspired decor. I’d definitely recommend to anyone visiting Atlanta.

My partner and I love coming here. We like to support local owned business. The food is good and the drinks are really cool. There’s a lot of different options. I really like the lavender one and the golden one with turmeric. The staff are efficient and friendly and it’s always a good experience.

Google
I was visiting my sister who lives in the area and she took me here to get coffee and I immediately fell in love with the energy of this place. Not to mention the coffee was absolutely delicious. Specifically, the iced Freaknik. The staff remember their regulars and I felt welcomed the moment I stepped in :) Definitely would recommend to anyone who loves coffee made with love.

I stopped by 404 coffee after a yoga class I went to, nearby. As a Florida transplant who is still struggling with these unusual temperatures 😀, I was looking for a nice hot beverage. The moment I walked in, I felt at ease by the welcome I received from Yo. She proceeded to introduce the rest of the staff, Hannah and Mickey, who were equally nice. After ordering and realizing I had left all of my cards and ID at home, they were so accommodating and helped me brainstorm on how to pay. They suggested I place the order online, so I just went on their website and placed my order there and voila! I had a cappuccino with almond milk and an egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich. Coffee was excellent, and my sandwich was simple and delicious. The place itself is quaint and cozy. The decor is sweet with themes of peaches all throughout. It's odd for me to say this right after mentioning the food, but check out their bathroom for a cute selfie (ladies, trust me on this!). This place is definitely one that I will stop by again, in the months to come.

Perfect vibes, especially early mornings. Can feel the presence of the ancestors here and the coffee ☕️ is on point 👉🏿.

The chicken salad sandwich is absolutely the best that I’ve tasted in Atlanta. The Granny’s Strawberry Tea is so good that I had to buy one for the road. Shante & Ayanna have such positive energy. They are very professional yet so down-to-earth. I recommend this place. It’s just the right spacing. The music is at a comfortable volume that it’s easy to have conversation. The ATL nostalgic wallpaper and pictures take you way back. 404 Coffee is such a vibe!

Google
5 Stars! I stopped by 404 Coffee and was blown away! I ordered the Big Chicken Croissant and the ATL United Frappe—both were absolutely delicious. The croissant was perfectly flaky and packed with flavor, and the frappe was the perfect mix of creamy and bold, with just the right kick. The vibe in the shop was chill, and the servers on Friday morning was friendly and fast. Definitely one of my new go-to spots in the city. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Still working my way through Black owned coffeeshops and 404Coffee was up on the list. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located on McDaniel Street. The parking is street parking. My partner and I came around 11am so there was plenty of street parking. Venue and Atmosphere Stepping into the venue feels like taking a step back in time to "Old Atlanta". The bar where you order is right in the front, and to the right there is a photo wall full of all of our faves drinking coffee. Michelle Obama, Queen Tina Turner (RIH) and Beyonce are some that I remember off the top go my head. On the other side is where the tables are located and the art on that wall is true trip down memory lane with photos from Golden Glide, Busy Bee Cafe, Club 112 and so much more I loved it. There were about 3-4 tables on the right side. My only observation was that there isn't a lot of plug space. My partner and I were the only patrons that were sitting at the moment so we had access to the plug but I do wonder if it could ever possibly pose a problem. Food and drinks Another thing I loved was the name of all the drinks and how you ordered them. The coffee was named after iconic Atlanta monuments. I ordered the Auburn Ave, which was the white chocolate latte. Other fun names I saw were Beltline, 96 Olympics, and of course Peachtree. The food was the same way. I had the Buford Hwy, which was the breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, bacon, roasted red peppers, and siracha mayo. Yes, it absolutely was as good as it sounds. Service Service was quick and easy. The barista was patient with us as we perused the menu and was more than happy to explain everything to us. Another thing I noticed is the sense of community among the residents who lived in the area. There were some regulars who walked over and from the conversation alone you could tell that a genuine community connection exists, which was wonderful to see. Verdict If you're needing a bit of Atlanta nostalgia, or if you're needing to brush up on some Old Atlanta history, drop by 404 Coffee, have an Auburn Ave, and relive a little bit of it all. Until next time!

Yelp
The GA 400 Matcha is great - 7/10 and I will definitely get it again. However, don't get an Açaí bowl from here. It's like a slushy and very very small for $12.00. I was very disappointed. But, now I know. They use an oatmeal bowl for the açaí bowl and I added the toppings they provided but the bowl is small and the entire thing just was not good. They need to use a different type of bowl or not sell açaí bowls - because it was a slushy and not an actual açaí bowl.

Yelp
Best coffee shop in Downtown Atlanta with free parking which is amazing for Downtown Atlanta. Everything prepared to order! It's reasonably priced

Yelp
Sadly the hashbrowns needed more cooking. They were on the soggy side. The burrito is small with hardly anything in it besides eggs that need to be seasoned. When she delivered it in the tiny bag that was light as a feather I asked where the rest of it was. I definitely don't think anyone would get full eating it. Save your money. It's not worth it.

Yelp
I've been dying to check out this coffee shop. I love that everything is Atlanta inspired. I had the MLK strawberry peach matcha lemonade and a cinnamonbon. Hands down the best matcha I've had in Atlanta!!
google avatar

Yelp
Overpriced and underwhelming. Food is meh with no flavor. Wait was ridiculous. And coffee was like water. 3/10

Yelp
Just my favorite coffee spot in Atlanta! Food, coffee, decor, and vibes are all top notch.

Yelp
While looking up different cafés in the area, we came across 404 Coffee. It's Black Woman Owned, so we definitely had to check it out. 404 Coffee is a nice little coffee shop in the Pittsburgh neighborhood. There's street parking in the neighborhood. Upon walking in to the shop, you get a "Welcome to Atlanta" feel. The walls are decorated with pictures of African American icons and pictures of Atlanta. There is a menu posted up front but you can place your order and pay online from the barcode at the counter. There are so many menu items to choose from, and they all have Atlanta themed names. We ordered the "Midtown" Croissant, "Downtown" Waffle sandwich, "Freaknik" Brown Sugar Latte, and Oreo Frappe. I can't wait to come back to try more. The owner, Kelli, is awesome!

Yelp
Adorable spot with fun decor, definitely small local business community vibes. The back area has a few tables and chairs

Yelp
A neighborhood spot that pays homage to ATL? Yes please! Location and Parking 404 Coffee is located in Mechanicsville on a side street. Street parking is available and free. Venue and Atmosphere The peach and green decor is fitting, with just enough seating for a few people to work from home or stay and socialize. Bathrooms are clean and cute. Service The owner greeted us and the barista was friendly and helped us decide on menu items. Service was great! Food and Beverages Both of our breakfast sandwiches were delicious, and the coffee based drinks were just what we needed. I will definitely come back to explore the rest of the ATL themed items. Verdict I'll be back!

Yelp
Food was over priced and not cooked all the way , my Pattie was squishy and a long wait time for your food to get ready and they were out of many options.

Yelp
My husband and I have visited 404 Coffee twice, and we are super impressed! Both times, we were served by Yo. She has such a pleasant personality and serves up the best Hazelnut Latte!! We love the ambiance and vibe at the coffee shop. We will definitely continue to visit and support this awesome business.

Jade W.

Yelp
This is my second time visiting with my daughter...it's defintely on our weekly "go-to" spots. We're slowly working our way through the menu. The environment is cozy and the staff are kind and helpful. Thanks Yo and I believe the other young ladies' names were Yanni and Nikki (day staff 3/2) and we had a great experience our first visit (2/14) with the young lady that was working that day as well.

Yelp
Just needed to stop in and grab a coffee when I was having a busy morning. G was awesome & I loved talking to her. She made me a coconut-cream-type-Americano. It was something different and as someone who drinks too much coffee, I'm always looking to switch things up. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I happened to be working near this cute little coffee shop early Sunday morning. I decided to wander in and I'm sure glad I did! I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant, which was made fresh after I ordered it. I also ordered an iced dirty chai latte. Chai lattes are either amazing or they're horrible- there is NO in between! And a dirty chai is even harder to do. I ordered it anyways hoping for the best. Best decision- the dirty chai was PERFECTION! It was the perfect blend of spices, the espresso didn't overpower the chai. It was the perfect blend, it made my morning. The person that took my order AND made my drink/food was SO nice! Highly recommend, especially if you're a chai fan!

Yelp
Morning coffee Morning Breakfast YO hooked this one up, per usual. If you all had a missed call that was just me calling back to say thank you again because when I bit into my breakfast sandwich; lord I bout started crying. THE DOWNTOWN WAFFLE SANDWICH. Must try. Definitely getting it again. It. Was. Delicious. 404 coffee passing the vibe check to start the day.

Yelp
I'm a nurse at Grady and was on call one weekend, did a quick search of breakfast spots nearby and this popped up. Got here in 10min from Grady on a Saturday morning. I do not like coffee so do not let the name of the business deter you from trying it. It's local, black woman owned and the food was good. I got the "Midtown" and a smoothie. Both were good and filling. Street parking and a lot next door makes for good parking. Hope to be back soon

Yelp
404 Coffee is a cute community cafe. I loved how diverse the menu was. The aesthetics are awesome and really cute! I ordered the Midtown with chicken and the downtown. They both were delicious, but my favorite was the midtown. Caffeine wise, I ordered the Memorial Dr Oreo Frappe. It was good, but just ok. The presentation was lovely. Kelli is very hospitable. When you walk in, you scan a QR code and place your order. There is street parking available. I look forward to trying some of the other menu items.

Jamil B.

Yelp
Really good coffee with great customer service. A very welcoming business. Ambiance is chill laid back and spacious enough to sit and drink your coffee and type a paper.

Satorria H.

Yelp
Food -AMAZING SERVICE-IMPECCABLE Ambiance - RELAXING AND WELCOMING Nani and Yo were AMAZING from their welcoming greeting as soon as you walk in the door to the very last second you're there. Food, drinks and vibes there are perfect for remote work or just wanting to relax and enjoy great food and coffee. 404Coffee is a MUST TRY!!

Jalynn A.

Yelp
Good food. Super cute and cozy environment, definitely would recommend this for anyone passing through the area for a quick pick me up! Service was excellent and friendly too !

Kimberly L.

Yelp
Order at your own risk especially via door dash. The quiche tasted ok but the size was not worth it. A two year old will ask for more. The downtown waffel sandwich was ok for my husband nothing spectacular. I orderd a frappe but could not drink the top comes with a big hole on top for straw but left it open. The resturant could of atleast wrapped in a bag. Instead its exposed to air, the drivers germs and potential hazard ext. I was highly disappoint been in bed sick not able to eat and was hoping this was what I needed :(

F C.

Yelp
Visited a few weeks ago with my daughter. Not what I expected in service or product--terribly overpriced for a caramel frappe that tasted like a cup full of sugar and a burnt (not toasted) packaged croissant. The shop was really cute and quaint full of great 404 Atlanta-type artifacts, but the service and food resulted in a waste of my money and a drive to the area. I'll stick with BlackCoffeeAtl or Dunkin. Tip: really try to work on providing a good, customer service experience.

Yelp
Love this place! I got the delta lavender latte and it was delicious!! I also got the cheese danish and also loved it! The vibes are so good they have the cutest decor. Our server was Yo and she was so sweet. They have great service!

Yelp
What a lovely slice of heaven. Yo and Te greeted us with warmth and hospitality, making great recommendations and making sure we knew they have the best chai in the city (it's true). We ate avocado toast and the vanilla cinnamon waffle sandwich. At the risk of sounding dramatic, the food healed me. This locally owned business opened last June...and they have created a wonderful space to enjoy great food, coffee and chai, and service.

Malcolm L.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in it was a warm and inviting vibe from proprietors Yo and Yanna. The freaknik latte was pretty and yummy. The Bankhead sammy was like tasting grandma's buttery breakfast treat. The breakfast burritos and tots was hittting too. Good smoothies as well and we will be back.
google avatar

Shae S.

Yelp
Didn't bother to get a photo the smoothie wasn't smoothie'ing. No fruit, no veggies, more of an milkshake feel. Maybe we'll stick to coffee in the future. However, if you can't make it why offer it. Thx

Kayla M.

Yelp
404 Coffee is such a vibe! Yo was our barista and she was so bubbly and friendly! She made our food and drinks fresh and even let us try a sample of a couple other drinks on the menu. We had a nice conversation with her and just really enjoyed the visit. My mom and I both had the Auburn Ave iced latte with caramel drizzle and oat/almond milk. I plan to come back to experience their Frap happy hour for $5. Also got a super cute selfie in the bathroom with the peaches!

Yelp
I came to coffee 404 after passing by it many times on my way home and decided to come and have breakfast and do a little work! And when I say the experience was AMAZING!!!! from the service to the food everything was TOP NOTCH!! The decor gives very much WELCOME TO ATLANTA!!! Black history, Black excellence, and supporting Black businesses is always top of the list for me! If your every in the Pittsburg area I highly suggest stopping by and giving them a try.

Katie S.

Yelp
So excited to check out this adorable atlanta themed and black woman owned coffee shop! The prices were high, not unheard of but definitely not fair for the quality of food provided. The coffee was delicious, the shop itself had a great atmosphere, the customer service was fine. However, breakfast was extremely disappointing. I wish I stayed home. The sandwich and tater tots lacked in texture and flavor, took about 15 min for them to deliver me a plate of undercooked and clearly microwaved Ingredients with an unappetizing appearance. The 'Texas toast' was plain dry slices of white bread. The bacon was of a thin and flimsy microwave variety. The eggs were not fresh, and seemed to be made from a pre scramble bag. Both ingredients were rubbery and unseasoned. I was surprised to realize there was no cheese on the bacon egg sandwich, but I did see that none of the breakfast sandwiches have cheese listed on the menu, so I guess that's how they're made. Overall the sandwich was extremely dry as the ingredients had no oil, butters, or cheese and the bread was plain. The worst disappointment was the hash browns. My plate came with about 7 small freezerburnt and squishy tater tots. My air fryer would never. Really love the location, decor and coffee, but please please work on the food. I'd happily pay the prices you set for a decent breakfast, but The prices do not reflect the quality or flavor of what you are serving at all.

A K.

Yelp
I was visiting town for a concert and a simple Google search helped me find this gem in Atlanta to make my "office" for the day. I came in and was greeted by a very warm welcome from Yo who helped me with my selection and also introduced me to something new. While spending multiple hours working in the shop I enjoyed multiple drinks, including the Pittsburg (PB&J & banana) smoothie and the MLK (strawberry & Peach matcha lemonade). Both were amazingly flavorful and the MLK was a great introduction to matcha. Lastly the bathroom is photo ready so you have to snap it up before leaving. If you haven't visited this quaint and lovely local spot add it to your list immediately.

Yelp
Nice little spot. Employee was nice and helpful. Ordered caramel apple frappe- with no coffee. It was good. Things add up fast. Evrthing seems to be A la carte..So it becomes a lil pricey.
google avatar

Clayton B.

Yelp
Amazing little coffee shop with a lot to offer. Great service and a very quaint little atmosphere.

Paul F.

Yelp
Great little local coffee shop. We got breakfast sandwiches in under 5 mins and ducked in from the cold for a coffee as well. Polite, quick and quality - the Tri extra of a breakfast shop.
google avatar

Nieem R.

Yelp
Good service from Courtney and Yo shakes and salads are good also, small but cool but no parking in front but it's right on the corner so plenty of parking on the side street

Elena G.

Yelp
Cute place and the barista was so kind!! The lavender latte and cinnamon muffin were delicious.

Maggie P.

Yelp
Very sweet lady and amazing food. I had the Joyland Golden Latte and the açaí bowl and they were amazing!! She also let our group sample the "MLK" drink which was also very yummy.

CB S.

Yelp
Beautiful vibe. Blazingly fast internet. Free street parking. Good coffee and pastries. What more could you ask for? Perfect cafe to meet up & chat or to put on some headphones and get some work done.

Darrius B.

Yelp
Thanks yo your awesome made me feel so welcome hands down I love 404 best coffee shop in Atlanta

Madisyn J.

Yelp
I hate doing this but I really am disappointed in my overall experience. I ordered through yelp and waited 25-30 before heading over there, just to arrive and realize she didn't start making my order. There was no one in there so the fact that I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for her to make my order was the first issue. Then, I received my lavender latte, downtown, Bankhead and the CNN. After seeing the reviews I was really excited to try this place however, I am not happy at all. I don't know if it was just a bad day. The food seemed like it was reheated from the morning. My $9 latte was horrible and I had to throw it out. The Bankhead had no cheese. The waffle was super dry. The eggs also had zero taste. I can say the atmosphere in there is amazing. It is a super cute spot. I absolutely love the fact that it is a black woman owned business. I just will probably never order from there again
