"Branch out into Ecuadoran ceviche at this friendly, family-owned cafe (Winter is the owner’s name). It’s not quite as hot as Peruvian, with green plantain chips on the side instead of cancha, and, yes, squiggles of ketchup and mustard on top. There’s no written menu, just a chalkboard by the door, but visitors only need to say “ceviche,” and they’ll take care of you. Check out the karaoke setup with wall art of a futbol field built out of plastic piping." - Kathleen Purvis

Yelp
Solid experience. The restaurant is spotless with a modern vibe. I ordered a platter and the portions were big. I was hungry so was glad to see it! Everything was so fresh and service was friendly. I hope they think about opening another location in Ballantyne or Indian land. I'm sure they'd do great!

Yelp
Good for takeout Mediterranean dishes -- I had the kafta kabab plate, with rice and tabbouleh (normally it would come with salad). The kafta was delicious, the tabbouleh was fragrant and tasty - sadly, the rice wasn't warm. This is a tiny restaurant in a mini-mall on a busy street -- While you could go there, in general I suspect that most of their business is takeout - there is little appealing about the interior of the restaurant. The only person working appeared to be the owner, and he covered both the register and the kitchen. I'd love to support this restaurant by giving them business - I fear they aren't getting enough traffic to stay in business for long (perhaps I visited at a particularly quiet time?)

Yelp
The food was good got the lamb kabobs wanted a combination lamb & chicken but they don't offer that and they are more expensive than Jasmin Grill just down the road and better quality food . Also not happy having to prepay and forced to leave a tip or not before you even get your food or services .

Yelp
My favorite place to grab a chicken shawarma in the city. Staff always nice and friendly, Clean place.

Yelp
Was craving some Mediterranean for lunch today and found this place online. I went during lunch, and it was not as busy as I thought it would be. I placed my order and was told there was a 25-minute wait, which no biggie. I ordered the Lamb Gyro with fries and an order of Falafel. The Falafel was amazing!!!!!!! Had just enough crisp to it and was very, very tasteful. The lamb gyro was not bad. The lamb was very flavorful. Now the gyro was more of like a wrap, and the wrap, unfortunately, was a bit too hard for me. It was hard for me to bite down and chew. I'm not sure what happened there, but I just wish it was a bit warmer and softer for me to chew. Either way, it was delicious, and I will be coming back to try other things on their menu. They are in a shopping center so there are plenty of parking spots to choose from.

Yelp
Just ordered take out. Spent about $70 and the food is so sooo bad! Fries were soggy and the smallest portion I've ever seen. The wraps are dry and flavorless. Overall a waste of money. I had high hopes. I'm beyond disappointed.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town and accidentally ordered from the wrong location. I called to ask if they'd issue a refund so I could order from the one a block from my hotel. The response was, " What would I do with the sandwich? It has already been made?" I'm out $15. Thanks k2g.

Yelp
I ordered the Kafka plate and it was so flavorful and everyone was friendly. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Hey yeah sure, good sandwiches. Hell, I've gotten them a good amount of times and can say it's good. But holy fuck god damn can they not get your order right. I mean, third time in a row I've ordered a Sharma sandwich and fries... grab the bag, no fries. No communication, no reimbursement. Kinda shitty.. def have grabbed the bag and just screamed FUCK a few times. Great job guys! Maybe put the food in the bag?

Yelp
I went in an ordered a takeout Lamb Kabab sandwich and it was fantastic! Customer service was amazing - the guys were super friendly. The Lamb Kabab was amazing. The meat was super tender. The wrap was saucy and flavorful. I especially loved the pickle in it. It came with fries that could have used a little more salt but they were fresh and hot. It took about 15 min to prepare and was a great amount of food for $11.99! Joe said to get the Kafta next time so I guess I'll be back!

Yelp
It was great tasting Arabic food, and it came along with great customer service. The ambiance is nothing special but well kept and cleaned.

Yelp
This is among the top new food destinations recently for best flavor, satisfaction, excellent service and value for dollars spent. Everything was excellent- Lamb kabab, chicken shwarama, Kafka kabab, hummus, tabouleh, fattoush and Baklava (extraordinary). I cannot wait to return and explore the menu more.

Yelp
One of the few places that offers fried Kibbeh. This hidden gem is close to south end. Make sure to ask for the garlic cream side

Yelp
I was visiting Charlotte and took advantage of the opportunity to find good Mediterranean food. I was NoT disappointed. Had the Taboulleh and Lamb Shawarma. The staff was courteous and fast. The food was AMAZING! I wish there was a restaurant closer to where I live!

Syma M.

Yelp
Amazing food - everything was so flavorful. My husband and I were in search of some good Mediterranean food near uptown Charlotte (was so tired to all these same steak restaurants). So glad we found Kabab 2 Go. We know quality when it comes to Mediterranean food and this one of the best food close to uptown Charlotte. Place was very clean, nice seating and quick service. Love it - will be back.

Yelp
Excellent Lebanese authentic food, fair prices, prime ingredients. It reminds me of my home country.

Yelp
The chicken schawarma is the best I've ever had, from anywhere!! The customer service was excellent. The owner let us taste a number of items when we couldn't decide what we wanted. It's tucked into a small strip on South Blvd and it's worth seeking out.

Alejandra R.

Yelp
I ordered half chicken over rice and this is what I received, absolutely obnoxious. NEVER again .

Meghan D.

Yelp
This was EXCELLENT. The falafel is the best I've had in the city. I'll be thinking about the Meat Shawarma Sandwich for days. And the char and spices on the chicken tawouk were perfection. The service was kind, attentive, and fast. Highly recommend!!!

Adam T.

Yelp
Really great food. There's not many Kabob restaurants in Charlotte that are worth writing about but this place is fantastic. Great customer service. First time going there and got the Lamb kafta as they recommended. It was great!

Alexa V.

Yelp
Amazing chicken shawarma wrap and best baba ganoush in town. Service is fast. Ambiance is laid back and casual. Their prices are high but worth it bc of the quality and taste. Highly recommend this place!

Laylla K.

Yelp
Parking was a breeze. We pulled in and walked in to amazing customer service, and experienced even better food. After we sat down, the food came out in a brisk fashion, and the flavor was out of this world.

Grayson M.

Yelp
Great food and kind service. Tried it multiple times and loved it. The lamb was yummy.

Sarah B.

Yelp
They suggested I order the chicken schwarma sandwich, and it did not disappoint!! The meat was exploding with flavor and I have to say, it was one of the best preparations of chicken that I have ever eaten! It tasted so great with the pickles, yogurt sauce, and French fries tucked in the sandwich. I shared some with my daughter and husband which was an act of true love. It was so good. Could easily be split with a salad for two meals for a lighter eater.

Philip B.

Yelp
The food was a bit bland, compared to some of the other Halal or Mediterranean restaurants in the Charlotte area. I'd probably eat somewhere else in the future because there is a-lot of competition in the area.

Henry T.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday evening looking for a place to eat and the environment was really nice and welcoming, staff was really friendly and they just exceeded my expectations and this restaurant really gives you a outlook of their culture. The food was spectacular I ordered the lamb tray and I picked hummus, I am not exaggerating when I say that was the best dish I have ever had, the food really is beyond outstanding if you are in the area this is a must go!

Asya A.

Yelp
Delicious falafel sandwich and great customer service! I tried their cauliflower sandwich too and it was delicious!!! The falafel was super crispy. You should get extra tahini on the side and hot sauce. Makes it even better.

Ryan S.

Yelp
Solid experience all the way around - I was greeted as soon as I walked in and on top of the great customer service the food was outstanding. Highly recommend to anyone who's looking for authentic food with a healthy spin

Yelp
This spot is a hidden gem. Arguably the best Mediterranean food I've had. Only place that competes is a spot in KY, where we all know the real Mediterranean cuisine originated. The chicken kebabs with the garlic sauce are next level. Staff was friendly. Everything is made there in store. I'll certainly be back and hope to see the rest of you there as well.

Amber W.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place, but my food was terrible. I had the beef kabob platter. Meat was extremely overcooked, dry and tough. Kabobs are hard to get right, and if you aren't going to use filet, you can't cook it well done. Hummus was good, but salad underwhelming. Twenty dollars worth of food into the garbage.

Edie R.

Yelp
The stuffed grape leaves were very good. My falafel was okay. It was pretty dry and bland. My partner ordered the chicken shwarama wrap and that also was just okay. The food, overall was pretty bland. Not the flavor I've come to expect from Kabob/Mediterranean deli type food.

Bud O.

Yelp
Great food and great service. I got the chicken shwarma as well as the fried cauliflower appetizer. Both were tasty and I will be back.

Joel R.

Yelp
Only one other couple in the restaurant we we went in, so there's really no excuse for not being greeted for several minutes. Food was lukewarm, wraps were hard. I am also not a fan of political statements in businesses I frequent, so this will not be an establishment I will visit again.

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant on Friday April 30,2021 and it was so good I went back the next day Saturday May 1,2021. Mediterranean food, featuring kabob sandwiches and platters. Lamb, Chicken, Beef, Shrimp , Kafta Kabob which is ground lamb and beef mixed with seasonings and parsley. and also Shawarma . They also make a vegeterian sandwich which is a thin wrap as low as 4.99 with meat up to $7.99. Platters $13.99 to $17.99 includes choice of salad and choice of cold appetizer with flat bread now to the review. The first time i went I had the lamb platter, with Baba Gannouge and Tabouleh. The Lamb was seasoned nicely and flavorful. Baba Gaonnouge. was delicious and the Tabouleh had a nice lemony tang that was terrific. The second time I had the house special called Chicken Tawouk seasoned chicken breast kabob which comes with a garlic cream sauce on the side. with a cold appetizer Moujaddarah which is a mix of Lentils, rice and olive oil topped with fried onions and salad was fattoush a mix of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, radish, onion, mint, sumac with lemon juice and olive oil, this too comes with flat bread. I also had an extra side of mixed vegetables, this mix was sauteed until soft red bell peppers cut into thin strips, mildly seasoned. Both times the meals were great and filled with flavor, I will be back to try more.

Yelp
Very very new location but the food was definitely worth it. Ended up discovering this place walking into another business. I had the Falafel sandwich with fries, well fried with just enough tahini and don't forget to ask for the pure garlic! Will be returning and might I add the prices. Most things in the menu with drink and a side were under $10. Can't beat that!
