43 & Company catered the desserts for our wedding. I was in communication with Likbin from the start, who provided all the necessary info to make the catering a success. The tarts were so well loved by our guests! I've already had multiple friends ask me where we got the tarts from :) The chocolate cream pies were portioned well and very decadent. Pick-up was easy too! Their lemon tarts are my favorite and really the best - I tried different places for their tarts, and nothing could beat 43's cookie-like crust (not soggy, perfectly crisp like shortbread) and the tart lemoniness (I'm not a fan of sweet lemon - I like it sour!). I would 10/10 buy desserts from them again, just as a treat! :)

I hired 43 & Company to do the desserts for my wedding at Saratoga Springs in August of 2023. I was very pleased with the service as I was able to bring my vision to reality through their beautiful arrangement of small bites. The customer service provided by Likbin was excellent. I wanted to have a custom chocolate topper and I only had to share the design with her. As you can see in the pictures they looked perfect! Do not hesitate hire this company for your desserts needs. Our wedding guests not only loved the look of them but also the taste and we did too!

I would say I love their assortment of pies and cakes. It’s so much better than fancy bakeries with overrated brand value! I have tried their Halloween vanilla pie, raspberry cake, hazelnut coffee cake and coconut cream pie. I would rate both pies 10/10 - absolutely delicious and unique taste. Cakes - well I liked hazelnut coffee cake, raspberry wasn’t the best option to pick! I would highly recommend this place for their yummy pies 🥧 Ambience and location- not their best suite, but taste of their pies make it up for all!

Stars for friendly customer service! But the desserts were lacking flavor all around. I’ll start with the pies I ordered (banana and coconut) First thing I need to note were the crusts. They were white- not golden, too thick, too flaky and too dry. The banana pie had a whipped cream filling with fresh bananas on the bottom and Carmel. The pie had bananas in it but somehow did not taste like a banana cream pie. I was expecting a banana custard with whipped cream on top. The whipped cream was not too sweet and I did like that but still I would not consider that a banana cream pie. I felt similarly about the coconut pie. There was barley any trace of coconut flavor and all I really tasted was that same whipped cream. I also ordered the lemon tart. It was zingy but it didn’t taste fresh and the custard was a little too runny. The fruit tart just lacked so much flavor. The custard tasted very similar to that whipped cream just thicker. Such a bummer! I would not recommend this place.

Love all of their desserts. Hit subscribe and get weekly dosages of these desserts. The fruit tarts and cream puffs are top choices. 😋 The owners are amazing people and I look forward to ordering from them when we have events. Thanks so much!

I ordered a platter of small pastries. Loved the chocolate and the hazelnut flavors. It’s a small pick up shop in Milpitas. Definitely would recommended it.

I tried the fruit tart, pineapple cup cake, matcha and banana cream pies purchased from airmart, they are all delicious and pretty special. I love the banana cream pie the most, its a must try.

One of the best pies I've ever had, I'm not kidding. I only tried the matcha pie, but it was so good, I had to go for seconds! It was creamy, but not too sweet and light! I believe they are known for their bread pudding as well, which I tried as well. The bread pudding was delicious, but a bit sweet for me. Overall, I definitely recommend this place!

I have a friend who is a big fan of banana cream pie, and they are the only place within 5 miles that I know of that makes a mean one! I had previously ordered from them before for the same friend and this year did it for her birthday again. We decided to get a variety this year and share amongst a couple of us. Surprisingly I did enjoy the banana cream pie (I didn't try it last time). I also really like the chocolate cream pie, fruit tart, and hazelnut espresso cake. The pickup is pretty easy as you select a time in their window, but technically anytime during that window works. The only tip is to make sure you give yourself enough days ahead notice as I had to order for 2 days out since I was ordering at night of one of the days.

Hands down, the best banana cream pie I've ever had. Just get one!! Also tried the Taro Ube Misu cake. Also spectacular, but the banana cream was the star for me. The bananas seemed like they were prepared like a fosters and placed in the flakiest shell with super fresh creams. The shaved chocolate on top offered just the right amount of chocolate. I'm a new fan!

I decided to order a fruit tart from here for a Thanksgiving party. It was quite pricey at $78 but I decided to splurge because I've been wanting to try this spot. The fruit tart serves around 7-9 people. It had a variety of fruit which all tasted fresh. The crust was buttery and the cream wasn't too sweet. Everyone at the party enjoyed it as well. It was good but nothing extraordinary. For the price point, I don't think I'd get it again.

First, if you actually read some of the lower-starred reviews, you'll find some of them are lazy AF. "I didn't like the sampler" and "It didn't taste like another bakery" are pretty bad reasons for 2/3-star reviews. Okay, setting my indignation aside.... 43 & Company catered our desserts. We ordered the following for our wedding of 140: -75 matcha cream pies -25 banana cream pies -125 mini coffee toffee cookies -30 mini vegan horchata cookies The order was approximately $1300 at the time of our wedding (September 2024). Our guests were mostly couples, so we were able to go with slightly smaller quantities because we were pretty sure some couples would share. And we were right! We had leftovers. We also had plenty of guests asking who catered our desserts. If I had to do it all over again, I would go 50 matcha cream pies and 50 banana cream pies (apparently people LOVE bananas, even though I'm personally not a fan). Taste-wise, what I really appreciate about the desserts I selected is that they AREN'T TOO SWEET!!!! My fellow people who ask for 30-50% sweetness with their boba drinks, just go with the items I posted above and I'm pretty sure you'll be happy. 43 & Company also offers other selections which might suit more of the 100% sweetness crowd, but I'll let someone else chime in on those items.

Banana Cream Pie! It's their signature product for good reason. I also tried their bite size dessert samples (lemon and fruit tarts, coffee and chocolate cakes). Though they were yummy, not good enough to justify the price. This is a dessert vendor selling products at a higher price point. For special occasions, I will splurge. If you can't justify spending over $70 on a delicious 9 inch pie, this is not the type of dessert store for you. They are timely and the logistics are well planned. Use their website to view all the products they offer and place an order. Pre-order only and pretty accurate instructions on how to pick up the order. I selected my date/time. I even received a reminder text around the time of pick-up so that I don't forget. The pictures on Yelp were useful when finding the building. There's a pineapple buzzer up front by the door that I pressed to notify them I arrived. The order was packed and brought out to me quickly. Easy first transaction with this business. Pie was stellar.

I'm sad to say but it looked better than it tasted. I had such high hopes for this sampler box and not one person in my family enjoyed it. I personally liked the tart the most so if I had to recommend something it would be the fruit tart.

Love the ease of ordering desserts from 43 and company! I've ordered the matcha cream pie and banana cream pie and both are made to perfection. My personal favorite is the banana cream pie. It's the prefect taste of not too sweet. I'd definitely order again for another celebration or birthday.

Delicious cream pies and cakes! This is a pick-up business without a storefront but they make super yummy goodies! I've heard lots about the banana cream pie so that was one of the items I ordered. It definitely lived up to the hype; creamy and banana-y! The crust is also flakey. The items that stood out to me were the banana cream pie, coconut cream pie, fruit tart, and the chocolate cake. They satisfied my sweet tooth without being too sweet. Highly recommend if you are looking to try out some desserts.

Style and substance! I am always on the hunt for a coconut cream pie that's a dupe of Dahlia Bakery's triple coconut cream pie (Seattle) so I needed to check this one out. I ordered a coconut cream pie, a fruit tart, a pineapple cupcake, and a lemon tart - all in the mini size. But when I win the lottery, I'll be sure to be back to give my winnings to this place in exchange for the full size versions of their delicious desserts.

The cutest tarts and pies! Almost too cute to eat, but we did and they were just as tasty as they were beautiful. The lemon tart was fantastic! It had just the right amount of lemon for a good pucker. The shell was nice and crunchy too. The cream pies were also excellent. The fillings were not too sweet and that crust was so flaky! Despite saying they're best eaten the day of, we had a couple the next day and they still held up.

This is a review for the banana cream tart. Tartine's banana cream tart is probably one of the best things I've ever eaten, but driving from the South Bay to SF is a pain. When I saw an Instagram post featuring 43&Co's banana cream tart, I knew I had to try it in hopes of finding a more conveniently located replacement. My husband picked one up for my birthday. First impressions: nicely packaged, plentiful chocolate on top. Unfortunately, it lacks the richness of Tartine's. It isn't as flavorful. The crust is flaky, but lacks the buttery taste. The chocolate isn't as bitter as Tartine's. The pastry cream and heavy cream don't have distinctive flavors. And the worst part - 43&Co's costs nearly $10 more! It's not bad tasting by any means but it's just not Tartine.

Decided to order a couple of the desserts for a friend's birthday! I ordered the chocolate cream pie, matcha cream pie, hazelnut espresso cake, and fruit tarts. Our favorite dessert was the cream pies-- the crust was flaky, and there was a generous amount of cream within the pie. Absolutely delicious! The custard in the fruit tart was a bit too sweet for our liking, but the fruit tasted fresh and sweet. Hazelnut espresso cake was very yummy as well. Overall, wonderful experience and would visit again!

Easily my go-to for special occasions such as birthdays or holidays. Location: It is nestled inside of the business-residential areas next to the new Bart station across from the Great Mall in the unit labeled as "The Kitchen." Ordering/pick up process: Orders can be customized per quantities or there are pre-set options for an assortment of desserts. For the pick up process, there's a few options on their website for ordering: Delivery, Pre-Order, or Same Day. Delivery option: Must meet a minimum of a $35 purchase and there is a delivery fee. Pre-order (highly recommend this option): Advance orders placed for either next day or future scheduled date. Same Day: Quantities and options are limited. The prices are a dollar or more than pre-order prices. My experience for pick up has only been pre-order. Once an order is placed through their website, a confirmation email is sent with the order/pick up instructions. On the day of pick up, a text message will be sent with instructions to stay in your car, text the phone number provided with your order number. The order will be placed in the dedicated pick up wagon/area for COVID safety protocols. Prices: The individual desserts start at $6+ and $40+ for the pies. Desserts: I've tried the following individual pies/tarts: Banana Cream Pie ($6 each) Chocolate Cream Pie ($6 each) Fruit Tart ($6 each) Lemon Tart ($6 each) Matcha Cream Pie ($6 each) Overall, each of these desserts are light in sweetness, the tart crusts are crispy and flaky (even after a couple of days!), and not too sweet. Would recommend trying or ordering as a nice gift as it comes with complimentary packaging.

I know this much is true: 43 & Company's artisan-crafted desserts have become my addiction. I can never get enough. I only wish that I could afford to eat their desserts every weekend! The first time I tried their chocolate cream pie, my life was riddled with regret, as I only ordered ONE *individual-sized* cream pie to share with my son. I don't know wtf I was thinking. It was utterly ambrosial: delicately crisp butter crust, luscious chocolate custard, salted caramel, blanketed with coffee whipped cream, and topped with delicate dark chocolate shavings. You can only imagine my anguish... Sure, you're not one to fantasize about pies, but their made-from-scratch [chocolate] cream pie will more than likely change your mind. Folks, this thing is remarkably dreamy. Other cream pie flavors include matcha, banana (popular), and coconut. Okay, enough about their chocolate cream pie. If you're truly irked by pies, then be sure to check out the rest of their enticing offerings: cupcakes, cakes, and cakes. So far, I've tried their fruit tart (butter crust, vanilla bean pastry cream, topped with fresh fruits) and hazelnut-espresso cake (chocolate ganache + espresso buttercream) as well. Without a doubt, *CHEF'S KISS.* I highly recommend trying these items as well, but I'm certain that one cannot go wrong with anything from their menu! Be sure to order in advance on their website for pick up at their commercial kitchen, as there is no retail storefront for walk-ins. There's same-day pick up within 30 minutes available (limited menu, though). Otherwise, you can pre-order from their full menu at wholesale prices. They also offer delivery within the South Bay for all you lazy mofos. + Family sized and individual sized offerings available

We've ordered tarts from 43 & Company a few times already since my first review. So far we've had no problems and only good experiences when purchasing from them. You order from their website. There's an option for pick-up or delivery depending on where you live and besides their pastries, you have the option of adding personal messages and various chocolate decors for different occasions for an additional cost. For pick up, you indicate the time you plan on arriving so that they know when to make your order to keep it fresh. They are located in a warehouse which is shared with another company. Cost is on the pricy side. My mom splurged and ordered two 9 inch tarts for my birthday this year, one lemon tart and one fruit tart. Both were fresh and enjoyable. Overall Experience: (5/5) Communication: (5/5) Once your order is ready, you will receive a text message from them. For safety due to COVID, their no contact pick up works as follows. Upon arrival, you text them back with your name and order number. They will put your order in a wagon located outside in front of their warehouse and once they go back inside, you can retrieve your order from the wagon. Communication was smooth this time per usual. Lemon Tart: (4/5) We all agreed that we liked the fruit tart more than the lemon tart because the lemon tart was a bit too sweet, probably to override the sourness of the tart. It would be perfect if they cut down a bit of the sugar level and lemon in the recipe for the sourness, but otherwise still very tasty! Fruit Tart: (5/5) Whenever we place an order, we would always include a fruit tart or two. There is an abundant amount of fresh fruits in their fruit tarts. Somehow they always manage to provide sweet fruits, haven't had a sour one so far. The crust is crispy, not too dry and not too soft. The tart itself is creamy and not too sweet. Obviously it is aesthetically pleasing and a great option for special occasions. Would highly recommend!

Ordered a number of their desserts as part of a valentines program. The flavors are amazing. The textures are stunning. The crust is so flaky and yet dense. Makes the flavors pop out. We will definitely order from them again.

Amazing service and scrumptious desserts! I've been wanting to try 43 & Co for a while now as I've heard such wonderful things about their desserts from several friends. My team had a team outing so I picked up desserts for them from here. Our outing started at 11 AM and 43 and Co was so kind in letting me pick up the desserts a little earlier. I really appreciated it and am so glad I reached out to ask if I could pick it up a little bit earlier. My team loves both banana cream pies as well as chocolate flavored desserts, so everyone was excited to try out these delectable treats. Since our team outing was outside, I was planning to get ice packs for the desserts. The manager was so awesome about letting me know when I could order their insulated bag and ice packs. It was $8 and so worth it; the desserts stayed nice and chill and the ice packs are reusable! You can now order the insulated bag and ice packs on their site. Great if you want to keep the desserts chilled if you're out for a long time. I ordered the following: All of the desserts were a hit with my coworkers! - Mini dessert sampler - Half a dozen chocolate cream pies - Half a dozen banana cream pies - Half a dozen fruit tarts Service was impeccable. The owner texted me 30 minutes before my delivery time to give me instructions to text when I arrived and they would put the desserts out in their wagon for contactless delivery. The packaging was perfect and the owner was so kind, smiling and waving at me when I was in the car. The owner is super on top of texting and right when I said I was there, I got a text right away saying they'll be right out. If you're looking for the storefront, the storefront says "the kitchen" and there's a smaller sign that says 43 and co. I added a photo so it'll be easier for you to find the store. My team calls themselves vultures ;) as they grab food so quickly whenever we eat together. It's survival of the fittest. :p They loved and devoured the desserts and went back for a second and third time. Loved all their reactions when they took their first bite of their dessert. I got the same reaction from my team members. Once they had their first bite, they were like, "Wow, this is sooo good." I had the banana cream pie and mini fruit tart from the mini dessert sampler. The banana cream pie was amazing! The filling was the perfect level of sweetness and I loved the taste of the bananas. It was truly incredible and I already want to go back to get another one. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for amazing desserts and service. The presentation of the desserts are top notch and my coworkers commented on how beautiful the desserts looked. I also love that you can buy individual pieces which makes it so easy for big groups. Thank you 43 and Co for a phenomenal experience!

I had this place bookmarked for awhile as something a few of my fellow trusted yelpers have tried and raved about. This was also an opportunity to support small business and I couldn't be more excited about that. The ordering process is really easy-- get on the site, pick out your goods and the date + time you want to pick up. They are on the pricier side but I will say that they are worth it. It was $72 for a dozen of the fruit tarts ($6 for a single) and I added in 1 banana cream pie tart since I've read so many people talking about them here on Yelp. They'll text you the night before pick up to confirm. The place is really easy to find-- Right across the street from Great Mall. Once you park, you just text them to let them know you are there for contactless pick up. They bring out your bag and place it on the cutest little cart. When I brought them back to the fam, even my picky mom was impressed by these tarts. The fruits looked like they were hand picked to perfection as all of it looked like it was ready to be photographed. That didn't happen by accident! The custard filling was not too sweet and only brought out the taste of the blueberries, strawberries, grapes and blackberries. The tart crust was well done and housed everything beautifully. It was dessert heaven and I couldn't believe that we killed them all between the 8 of us. The Banana Cream pie tart was split into 4 just so that some of us could try and I can see why this one is also a best seller. Freshly whipped up bananas folded into some whipped cream and chocolate both on the bottom of the pie tart plus the chocolate shavings on top were enough to make us all want to order this again for next time. If you haven't tried this spot yet, support them and do it. Rave reviews are accurate.

My first experience with 43&Co is at the local farmer's market. I think we went back over and over again because of their mini banana cream pies and mini chocolate cream pies. I actually do not recall if there were too many other options at the farmer's market because the pies were what caught my eye each time. While perusing through wedding dessert options, we discovered that 43&Co offers a wedding dessert menu so we jumped at this option. Through a few e-mails, we were given the option to choose six flavors from their menu to try and coordinated a pickup from their facility. The sample box is a bit pricey but it is different than their regular menu so it makes sense if they made these pastries specifically for us. Payment was easy and Likbin was very quick to answer all questions and concerns that we had. We were able to try the cream puffs, lemon tart, lychee tart, banana cream pie, and chocolate cream pie, and hazelnut expresso cake. We ended up choosing 5/6 of these options and only avoided the one due to potential nut allergies for our guests. We had a deposit to reserve the date and two months before the wedding, we placed the final number of items that we were looking to order. We coordinated a delivery date and time and made the final payment. On the day of the wedding, Likbin delivered the pastries herself to our knowledge without any issue. Our caterers had set out the desserts on display and everything was devoured shortly after we cut the cake. Everyone enjoyed what they could grab and lucky for us, our caterers set aside a box of two of each dessert for us to enjoy at the end of the night. We'll definitely find some time to enjoy more desserts from 43&Co and would recommend both the service and the food to everyone.

My husband is obsessed with a banana tart we usually get from SF, but the lines, parking, and location make it difficult to regularly access. I found 43 & Company when browsing Yelp and immediately placed an order (order before 11:45PM on their website for next day pick-up / delivery) for 2 banana cream pies, 1 chocolate cream pie, and 1 chocolate raspberry cake. Pick-up was very COVID-friendly and contactless. Upon parking, you text them, they come out and place your items in the wagon, and then you pick it up. The pies are delicious and less sweet than other places. They also have a good proportion of filling (creamy w/ real slices of bananas) to crust (perfectly crisp, not too thick, and layered with chocolate and caramel). We'll be back to order more!

At first glimpse, their cute mini pastries got my attention. We ordered the dessert sampler which included gorgeous assorted tea time sized pastries enough for 3! The ordering process was simple and straightforward, place an order on their website before 11:45pm and they are ready for next day pickup. The location was a bit odd, as they were located in a warehouse (keep that in mind), so it was difficult to find. Anyways, their mini desserts were absolutely phenomenal with the perfect touch of sweetness. I highly recommend y'all try them out!

My wife and I went through a few dessert makers for our wedding and we didn't like how sweet and thick and cakey and plain a lot of the American bakeries were. Then we found @43andcompany and they blew our minds. They were on another level. Their desserts are DELICIOUS, not too sweet, not thick and cakey but just right. Their flavors are unique and here's what we picked: Coconut cardamon rice pudding cups are topped with fresh mango, a very subtle sweetness and very refreshing on a hot summer day, and certainly unique. Lychee champagne tarts were our original favorite when we tasted them. Just such a lovely unique flavor. Lemon tarts were so good. Doing something common and doing it really well showcases their skill, and, the tartness vs sweetness is just right. Mini eclairs are great as well, we choose the eclairs to provide some chocolate in our choices, and my friend ate TEN of them! Fruit tarts tasted and looked great. Everyone does a fruit tart, but whereas the one we got at an American bakery had uneven fruit pieces, 43&co. Really spent time on the presentation. Their aesthetics are delicate, each fruit piece on the fruit tart looks precise, and now does the spread look beautiful! They have much more to choose from but these were our favorite, and everyone has their own favorite! You can request a sampler to try all the different choices. Luckily our wedding planner @tiffanykay_events made sure she saved us some because they were all gone by the end of the night. Already looking forward to our next event that needs desserts! OH BTW, their creme pies are amazing as well, they were a big hit at my wife's birthday party last year.

We ordered dozens of sweets for our wedding dessert table and it was a hit! Although we were too busy to enjoy it all, we got many compliments from our guests. Our wedding planner packed us some desserts to enjoy at the end of the night and they were all so good! My personal favorite was the coconut pudding. Thank you, 43&Company!

I stumbled on 43 & company's IG page and was eager to order and try their desserts! Supporting local businesses these days are so important and they were within a 5 mile radius of home so even more reasons to get some sweets! Ordering was super easy Online. Pick-up was contactless and easy too! They will text you to remind you of pick up and provide for easy instructions. You text when you arrive name and order #, they bring it out to the table and and let you know it's safe to pick up! Desserts are $6 per slice/tart. I couldn't decide so I ordered a few to try and they were all pretty good! Sooo very pretty! Banana Cream Pie was my son's favorite with chocolate shavings Coconut cream Pie I got for the hubs and he said it was good Fruit Tarts are my favorite. Chocolate raspberry cake was moist and good. (Smaller than tarts) The tart crusts were light and crispy! The drive up to the establishment is easy to miss. (At least you us) It's a small tiny door with the sign among a bunch of roll up receiving docks so we drove right by it! We turned around and then saw the pole/door and table. Give them a try! They'll take orders up to 11:45pm for next day pick ups! I noticed they do a few pop up events too! Can't wait to order a big full size next time when I'm all stressed out! It's the perfect cure for my sweet tooth!

43 & Company is located in Milpitas. I stumbled upon this Dessert place while checking out Hapa Musubi. 43 & Company shares a space with Hapa Musubi and Eat On Monday. While waiting for my Hapa Musubi order, I browsed the Desserts they had on display. I decided to try out their individual Pies. I selected 3 Banana Cream Pies and 1 Coconut Cream Pie. While ordering, I spoke to the person manning the place and learned a little about the place. The Pies were delicious. I will need to visit again to try out the Fruit Tarts.

Going into my 8th week of Sheltering in Place, I've grown accustomed to treating myself with desserts to help cope with the situation. After all, "stressed" is "desserts" spelled backwards. I found 43 & Company on an Instagram ad, believe it or not, and I'm more than happy to support local businesses especially during this time. I saw on the ad that 43 & Co was open for takeout orders or delivery. If you plan on picking up your lovely desserts, you would have to order at least 24 hrs in advance and designate the time and date of pickup. If you prefer delivery, it's an additional $10 cost for it. When I was taken to the website, I noted the user-friendly interface and easy online ordering. 43 & Co offered several ordering options. You could settle with one flavor, mix and match until your heart's content, or try one of the fixed sampler boxes (e.g. cream pie sampler, mini dessert sampler). I curated my own dessert box containing one tart/cake of each flavor (total 7). Prior to the pickup time, I received a very detailed text from 43 & Co about how to get to their kitchen. I was also kindly reminded to wear a mask as it's required by City of Milpitas for all employees and customers to wear masks. I really appreciated the measures that they took to ensure compliance and safety in food handling. The desserts were amazing! I am slowly picking away at my dessert box, but I've had the pleasure of trying the Hazlenut-Espresso cake, lemon tart, fruit tart, and chocolate-raspberry cake. The two cakes were super moist. The chocolate-raspberry cake was particularly rich and decadent. The fruit tart was pretty standard, but the lemon tart was one of the bests I've had. The lemon custard was excellent, and the candied lemon rind on top was a nice touch. Looking forward to trying the coconut cream pie, banana cream pie, and chocolate cream pie!

I arrived here after finding them on Yelp. So this is business is in an industrial area, where 2 other food vendors appear to share the space. So you have an option of ordering using a QR code, their website, or Yelp/ Grubhub. If you order through their website you can choose one of each of particular items but I noticed that if you order through Grubhub you are limited to 2 of the same item, which counts as it's own menu item. So on with my order which was 1 matcha cupcake and 1 matcha cream pie. I really liked the mini pie which had large white chocolate curls and a dusting of matcha, plus the crust was crunchy and flaky. The matcha cupcake was ok but tasted premade and appeared refrigerated because it was so cold. They packaged my desserts in a plastic container with the paper liners taped down- smart move in case they toppled over...LOL

Everything I've tried from 43 & Company has been a masterpiece but the Banana Cream Pie is my absolute favorite! It's made of banana slices, house-made salted caramel, premium vanilla bean infused pastry cream in an all-butter flaky crust, topped with lightly sweetened whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings. You can also get them in their mini size in their mix and match box (one of my favorite things to take to potlucks). They're also great for catering team events (spoken from the Google and Meta events I've been to that catered their goodies)!

If you told me I could only eat pastries for the rest of my life, I would gladly oblige, impending cardiovascular complications aside, and head straight to 43 & Company. The perfectly warm and ethereal flake of their buttery layers is unlike any other pastries I've ever eaten, and I've definitely eaten more pastries than my cholesterol would advise. When I first happened upon 43&Company with a friend, he was in a savory mood and chose to try the mushroom leek pastry. Not a usual fan of savory pastries, I wasn't expecting much but at first bite, my eyes shot wide open and OH MY MUSHROOM LEEK GOD what have I been missing my whole life? They've since changed from the rectangular shape to the circular shape. I prefer the prior, as the pastry sits closer to the filling, each keeping the other warmer and providing a more satisfying bite with less air in between. Following this, I've fallen in love with savory pastries here, especially the chicken pot pie. While I've also tried the puffs and quiches, the mushroom leek and chicken pot pie are the top in my book. But can you really lose while holding (handfuls of) these gorgeous, fragrant, fresh, delicious pastries? No siree, you a gottdang winner.

Covid/SIP Review: They definitely got this contactless thing down. Place your order and pay online, choose your pick up date and time. (Or they deliver within a certain distance for a fee). When you pick up, text them upon your arrival, they will bring your order out and set it on the small table. Then you can get it. Contactless done well. We got a sampling of some of their pies and tarts. I absolutely loved the lemon tart. Their crust is perfection. Highly recommended!

Okay, first of all, if you guys think you're going the wrong way because you're in the middle of all these warehouses, no, it's not a new episode of Netflix's "You," this place is literally in between so may industrial warehouse places LOL. I hope they get a big sign up or directions to their place somehow because it's a really hidden spot. This place takes *advanced orders only*! You'll have to order things ahead of time which I think is pretty cool because it shows that everything is made fresh and in-house! My friends actually ordered fruit tarts and creme brulee from this place for a bachelorette/bachelor party and they were absolutely DELICIOUS! Everything tasted amazing and light. It's not to sweet which I truly appreciate!!! It almost feels guilt-free LOL The second time I was here, I ordered a birthday cake for my mom and although she's a huge fan of tiramisu cakes I found this place has something along those lines that seemed better! Hazelnut espresso! First of all, I'm so glad they indicate that their cakes are gluten-free because it's a huge plus and just the little things that makes eateries 10x better with such small gestures. Second of all, the cake was absolutely beautiful and not overwhelmingly huge!!! Each bite was great an loved (again) the light and airiness feeling of eating their cakes! I hope they expand soon and would love to order from them again soon!

Probably the best cream pie in the Bay Area! Their chocolate, coconut and banana cream pies are delicious. Pros: - the sweetness is very balance through out even just eating the fillings - the pie crust is very flaky and crunchy. Not hard to bite into Cons: - only 2 hours pick up window, order 1 day in advance and open 5 days a week - online order only and pick up at a warehouse type of store, which is a little confusing the first time - a bit pricey but that is Bay Area price

I love giving unique food gifts versus regular material things, that probably won't get used anyways because most people have too many things going in and out of their house/lives. A food gift won't clutter up your personal space (for very long), and if chosen with purpose, can be much more memorable. That's because you're burning an imprint with multiple senses...taste, sight, smell and touch. 43 & Co. is a modern model for a small business doing fancy desserts. Instead of conventional retail where one acquires a store front, presents it in an attractive manner for customers to go in and out, this by-passes all that. Here they just get a spot in an industrial zone (much cheaper than a retail space), and all ordering/payment is done web based. So no store to browse/enter, no live human interaction, just click, click, check out, pay, set up pick up time or delivery. Not sure how long it will take the mainstream to pick up on this, but I applaud the pioneers in utilizing this format. I find it viable and useful, even though I'm just getting used to it myself. Got a small box of 6 small tartlets. I thought I ordered 3 flavors, 2 each. But what I received was 2 flavors, 3 ea. So their ordering process is not too solid for me. The thing with this format, is since there is no live human interaction, you won't know what you got until it is in your possession. I didn't get an email of my receipt even though you had to give them an email address. Don't know if it was a mishap, but that was my experience. So I only tried one of the tartlets. I will say that they are incredibly attractive and nicely packaged. Definitely a fancy food gift. I tried the Chocolate Cream Pie flavor (4*) and it was decent. Very crisp crust, almost puff pastry like. It was a bit too brittle for me, as I tend to like a more buttery pie pastry that has more of a chew versus a crunch. But that's totally my preference. The chocolate mousse filling is about as good as it gets texture wise, perfectly smooth and ethereal. I also prefer more of a chocolate punch, but again, that's a personal preference. My box also contained some fruit tarts, which I did not taste, since this was a gift. It is very aesthetically pleasing to look at, as they have a nice hand with presentation. I would probably order this again to taste, but maybe in their larger size for a family outing. Also want to try their Banana Cream Pie Tart, that was missing from my original order. It isn't cheap here but if you look at their pics, you'll understand why. The small 3-4 bite tartlets are $6 bucks each. May not seem a lot as each, but as you multiply them, they'll escalate quick. My small box of 6 was $36 and with a small tip threw it to an even $40. But if you've shopped in the fancy bakery case of Whole Foods, then this will look familiar. Can't get product day of, gotta give them a day, pick up the next. Day of they'll send a text to confirm your pick up. When you arrive at the industrial roll up doors, just text them, and someone will drop off your product on this little garden wagon...cute. Then the door will shut and you're good to go. I'm still gonna lean towards the conventional retail, as I find it more available and convenient. But I will gradually start incorporating this mode in my choices.

43 & Co. made THE BEST dessert bar for my wedding! Not only were the desserts delicious, but the table layout was gorgeous! My husband was really looking forward to our dessert bar, and they absolutely delivered! Thank you 43 & Co!

One year and many pies (and mini pies) later, and I am still obsessed with this place! They have a brick and mortar now that you can pick up your order from (order by 11:45pm the night before for next day pick up), and they have a great contact-free process in place. In addition to their banana cream pie which is almost identical to Tartine SF's, their chocolate cream pie is also amazing. The standard sized pies and mini pies are all good, the mini pies are great for larger gatherings if you don't want to deal with the mess of cutting and serving. Picking up my 6th order tomorrow and I've also added a mini lemon tart and coconut cream pie this time, so excited to try new flavors!

Super delicious. The fruit tart and lemon tart are my favorites. The crust is so crisp and buttery and the cream is smooth. The banana cream pie is fantastic too, not a lot of banana and some caramel flavor to it. The chocolate cream pie has a strong coffee flavor not so much my taste.

Order and pick up is easy! I ordered online through their website two days ahead as it was Mother's day weekend. They texted instructions on how to pick up. When you get there, you text them to say you've arrived and they put it out on a little wagon for you to pick up. Their location can be a little hard to find as it's in a parking lot with warehouses. You wouldn't think it's there but thankfully we caught their sign. I ordered half a dozen fruit tarts and they were tasty! Not too sweet and there's a lot of fruits on top. The tarts aren't particularly big so at $6 a piece, they're kind of pricey. Can't say they're the best I've ever had but glad I tried them! They have many dessert options that all sound yummy

The glass display cases practically call your name since everything is so visually appealing. While there were tons of desserts here, I opted for the savory since it was lunchtime. Hmm, so glad I happened by for lunch because they were delicious and I could easily see how they might be passed by for the desserts. Curry Puff: This was so delicious! Extremely flaky and crunchy and buttery shell. Then a nice mix of chicken and potato curry inside. Somewhere between a samosa and a empanada. Mushroom & Leek Pie: Felt so classically French. The pastry shell was like the top of a perfect pot pie. The ample mushroom chunks made it feel like a chunky pot pie too. Lots of nice spices in there, I definitely tasted thyme.

Love their service and dessert! I ordered this for a friend to celebrate her birthday at a distant! Their website was easy to use. Ordering and delivery went smoothly. What I appreciate most about them is their willingness to make sure everything is delivered. I had bad experiences before where orders were lost, but it's different here. My friend thought she lost the order so we contacted the staff here. She is so willing to take time out of her schedule to make sure everything is okay even though I contacted them during the close hours. She helped me send a picture to my friend and double-check on the delivery process. Everything turned out okay :) Highly recommend this place!

I stumbled upon 43 and Company in my Instagram feed. I luv all things desserts and did my research and decided to give them a shot. They share a space in an industrial area in Milpitas with Hapa Musubi. I like that there was a 43 and Company sign out front, which helped to identify exactly where the shop is located. Parking is readily available. You place your order online and you'll receive a text message to confirm your order. Once your order is ready, they'll text you and place your box on a table outside their front door. Ordering is easy and they provide contactless delivery. I wanted to sample a variety of items, so I ordered a banana cream pie, chocolate cream pie, lemon tart and a slice of their chocolate cake. All the desserts were tasty and delicious. However, they are really small! The lemon tart and slice of chocolate cake are only 2 or 3 bites at most. The mini pies are a bit bigger, but not much. Considering the $6 price for each, I'd expect to get more bang for my buck.

The little banana cream tarts taste exactly like the larger ones at Tartine in SF. The crust is so good and flaky and the tarts are not overly sweet. The banana cream tarts are my favorite and I'm glad that I don't have to go to SF and wait in the tartine line to get them. I just need to try some of their other desserts now. They do a great job of ensuring you get your desserts safely with clear contactless pickup directions. Will definitely be back.

Some amazing banana cream pie! Bought this to try out banana cream pie flavor! Definitely something I normally wouldn't get, but decided to get it. Ordering is pretty easy. You order online and pick up at the designated located. call/text to pick up and they'll leave it on a table and you'll take it. The pie itself, taste was solid. For me, it was pretty runny as you can tell in the photo, it just leaked everywhere. I do wish there was more banana filling to whip cream ratio. i felt like it was a 35/65 split. was hoping 50/50 or 65/35 split. That'll definitely be worth the $.

Truly a Hidden Gem Serving Superb SF-Level Quality Cakes/Tarts Uniqueness: Not the easiest place to spot.... but if you do, you're in for a sweet treat that's well worth the money to spend and enjoy than your other typical bakery chains. Wait Time: [x][x][x][x][ ] Food Quality: [x][x][x][x][x] Service: [x][x][x][x][x] Setting: [x][x][ ][ ][ ] Recommendation? A definite yes! The Fruit tart here is on the same level as your higher end bakeries that you'd normally see in SF. A good quality cake/tart shop is found here and there in SJ/Milpitas, sprinkled with your 85Cs and Paris Baguettes around the area serving good cakes. But to find an excellent cakeshop, you will have to look closely to find these hidden gems and one of these hidden gems has to be 43 & Company. Located in Milpitas next to the new Bart Station, it's in a back area that you would never notice it existed on your own. But once you do find this place, be prepared to find cakes/tarts nearly at the same level as what you'd find in SF. From your Fruit Tarts to Banana Creme Pies, these tarts are made with such delicacy in mind that they're worth pausing to enjoy what was made for your special occasion before digging in. I went there to order a fruit tart and comparing this tart to let's say Safeways Fruit tart... the quality of 43's Fruit Tart is on a completely new level. The crust is like a graham crust that is soft and crumbles and their custard is thick to the consistency of your cream puff with the sweetness of vanilla just right. The fruits--strawberries, bluberries, blackberries, and raspberries--are sweet and ripe and topped with a nice sprinkling of powdered sugar. I would highly recommend coming back here for their fruit tarts alone. Service here is not much as the majority of their shop is in the back but with COVID going on now, you'll find it much easier to order everything online and go there for pick up. Parking is a little strange as you're in a lot shared with other back businesses for manufacturing and small businesses. Apparently on Monday's, they have a savory menu as well so that is an interesting thing worth trying as well. Do note that the price of their cake/tarts are on the higher end but the price you pay matches the higher quality of cakes you'd expect. I wish this place has garnered more visibility than it has at the moment because 43 & Company is definitely one of the rare gems of Milpitas/San Jose that everyone must try. Buying a tart here for any special occasion--or just to enjoy a delicious tart!-- will be one of the best choices you'll make on desserts. From their fruit tarts to their many cream tarts, you'll find no other comparison on this level to excellent tarts served here. Would I recommend this place to others? With the extra money to spend in mind, this is a definite recommendation from me!

Thanks 43 & Co. for my mom's birthday fruit tart! Despite it not being fruit season, all the fruits especially the grapes tasted fresh and the custard was just the right sweetness. The tart was absolutely beautiful, it looked too pretty to eat and quality was amazing. My whole family enjoyed this!

I have placed many orders with them. Their pies and cupcakes are very delicious. I especially like the red velvet cupcake. The frosting isn't overly sweet and tastes wonderful with the cake. Ordering online is easy. I always pick up from the place of business. My order is ready at the time I requested and it's very quick. There is plenty of parking. I definitely recommend this place and I will continue to order their delicious desserts.

What a sweet (not too sweet treat)! At work, we were surprised with pies today. I appreciate that the pies were in individualized containers as Covid is still present. I had the banana cream pie. I am not usually a banana cream pie gal, but this one is pretty delicious. The crust was buttery and just the right amount of flaky. I had to go to their website to see what other desserts they offer and they have a variety. I will definitely have to try one of their other desserts.

A friend of mine had a bbq and she was lucky enough to have a guest bring ONE DOZEN Mini Cream Puffs with Vanilla Filling and White Chocolate Flake Toppers from 43 & Company. These cream puffs were like little fluffy clouds from heaven! + The dough was crispy and delicate. + The vanilla cream filling was light and creamy. + The elegant touch of white chocolate square topper was delightful! They tasted similar to European desserts, the likes of which are almost impossible to find in the Bay Area! I immediately inquired where I could get my hands on these delectable and delightful treats! It turns out that you can only get them in person in the South Bay/Peninsula at the farmer's markets in either Sunnyvale, Saratoga, or Palo Alto. Or if you live within 20 miles of Santa Clara, they will deliver if you order at least 2 days in advance! *Note: Cost: $42 for 1 dozen. Taste: Priceless : )
