432 Park Avenue in Manhattan, standing at 425.5 meters, is one of the tallest residential buildings in the world. Designed by Rafael Viñoly, its structure features white concrete with uniformly square windows. It was built on the site of the historic Drake Hotel, demolished in 2006. Its height-to-width ratio of 15:1 makes it among the world’s slenderest skyscrapers. To manage wind forces, five double-height mechanical floors were placed at intervals and are lit at night. Two tuned mass dampers installed at the top reduce wind-induced vibrations. The building contains 147 residential units ranging from compact studios to multimillion-dollar penthouses. Upper-floor units have ceilings 4.72 meters high and windows offering 360-degree views of Manhattan. The 12th floor hosts a private restaurant led by a Michelin-star chef. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, billiards room, library, cinema, massage room, sauna, steam room, and children’s play area. In recent years, residents have reported issues such as wind noise, water leaks, and elevator malfunctions. Many units were purchased through legal entities to conceal buyers’ identities. The tower symbolizes luxury living and economic disparity in New York City.

I have lived here for 6 years now and I really enjoy it. The office managers are nice and the service guy Jimmy is excellent. Luigi the plumber has gotten me out of some really tough situations with a backed up toilet situation I had on the 43rd floor. You should of saw my shoes. Yuk!

432 Park Avenue faces a collapse risk. It would be professionally irresponsible not to acknowledge that. We in Miami have seen a very similar story - a tower had cracks, people complained but the managers told them don't worry be happy! Then it collapsed and they all died and the managers didn't even apologize. So please escape while you can, the cracks are not a joke.

On the Billionaires Row, where you can stand and just imagine how much financial success one needs to buy an apartment in this building or in any building on the 57th street. Was standing in awe on Saturday rainy night by watching these skyscrapers. Till that day I only saw Youtube videos of the same. :)

Alleged corrosion of structural steel in the concrete columns? That's a comforting thought. With further corrosion, will this building need to be retrofitted with additional reinforcement or simply deconstructed to protect adjacent properties (domino effect of cascading structures)? Per CNN "The new lawsuit meanwhile claims that the tower’s facade is “plagued with thousands of severe cracks, spalling, and other forms of deterioration,” including a 10-inch-deep crack in the building’s core. As well as causing flooding, the damage has corroded some of the steel in the tower’s reinforced concrete columns, the complaint alleges."

In all honesty the only pass I give it's the 360 view of the city. Besides the Building is bland even a 2 year old can design this. It's absolutely rediculuos they approved and went with this idea. If going to make a building like this then at least add some patterns or even more colors to make it more interesting but they couldn't even do that. If I was able to afford a condo or an apartment for that matter I will buy or rent it here plus it's the worse sales pitch especially selling to the rich. I'm studying Architect and I seen and did way better designs than this.

Google
432 Park the unofficial tallest building in NYC, but without Spire officially the tallest building in NYC. Awesome experience.

Simple but cool! This building doesn’t look like it should be so tall! The huge windows must give spectacular views!

Yelp
Basically a middle finger in the sky, worst looking building on NYC's skyline, and it's a few million per condo, not worth it and looks bad, just go to One57 or something.

Yelp
This building nearing completion will be the second tallest skyscraper in NYC. It will be a rental condominium with sweeping views of Central park and Manhattan at ultra high end rental prices. You can see it from as far as Queens. It is tall and thin but will make an interesting skyscraper when completed.

Yelp
Love this building because of its simplicity. This building adds a lot to the Midtown skyline.

Yelp
These are some of the most beautiful condos you will ever see. Few have the means to purchase a unit (starting at $15-20 mm plus I believe) but they are a sight to behold. I had dinner at the private residents only restaurant - it was phenomenal. Truly a unique and amazing experience featuring some of the best food I've ever had. I believe the Yelp summary is mislabeled, these are for sale condos not rentals.

Yelp
It's big. It's tall. It's brash. And, it's not a looker in the classic Gotham sense. But the fact that this whopper of a building has changed the game in Manhattan, and broken out of the sea of 600 foot tall buildings, makes it unique in its own way. I suspect real New Yorkers will just accept it. Out of towners will say, "Is that thing really taller than the Empire State Building?" Answer: yes.
