"Following the success of The Garrison and Village East in Bermondsey,Adam White has opened his third project, The Riding House Cafe here in Fitzrovia. The group of locations formed Village London, whose success continues to be in creating home from home spaces that become part of the area’s creative community. Serving from early morning to late evening, this is a popular neighbourhood meeting spot." - UsVs
"The Riding House should be one of your go-tos in central London for solid and satisfactory pancakes, french toast, and eggs of all kinds. You’ll sit in a spacious, smart-looking brasserie with loads of bright leather sofas and a pretty bar. It’s also the kind of place you’d be chuffed to sit in on a sunny day. The line-up of sort-of-healthy and vegetarian dishes is good, and there’s plenty of room if you’re in a group of desperate stomachs." - jake missing
"Cafés are excellent. They’re the free spirit of the eating out world. If the café was a person they’d talk about how they weren’t bound by the linear constraints of regular restaurants and cuisines, all the while sipping on an espresso and chain smoking. The only thing a café has to do, really, is make tea and coffee. Aside from that, it’s an absolute free for all. This is ideal for when you’re looking to go somewhere with options, as the Riding House Café demonstrates. Think of something you want. Bourguignon? Burger? Beef Wellington? They’ve got it." - jake missing
"It’s taken you four months, approximately 38 manipulative compliments, and one fictional promotion to get everyone to agree to dinner at Circolo Popolare. Now you’ve got a cute little two hour wait on your hands and you’re refusing to let everyone get so trashed that they miss dinner. You should wait it out at Riding House Café. This smart brasserie is pretty much perfect for any occasion, including a last-minute table, a decent coffee, and nibbling on some grilled sweet potato and burrata. In case everyone starts comparing notes on your questionable dinner-planning tactics, they’ve also got plenty of cocktails on offer." - heidi lauth beasley
"According to our colleagues in the US, Thanksgiving mostly involves stuffing, tense family squabbles, and repeatedly shouting ‘has anyone seen the meat thermometer?’. Luckily, The Riding House Café’s Thanksgiving feast box doesn’t require any cooking skills, just a quick glo-up in the oven. For £85 you’ll get turkey, a boozy punch, pecan and pumpkin pie, table decorations, truffled mac and cheese, maple-buttered sweet potatoes, and even more sides. You’ll even get a party game, so that’s the family squabbles sorted too." - heidi lauth beasley
