477 Distilling

Original brewery we wanted to go to was insanely busy on Saturday, so we came here instead and I'm really glad we did! It was very calm and quiet inside, the bartender was very friendly, and all the drinks we ordered were DELICIOUS! We also really liked that everything was a flat $12 so we didn't have to decide what we wanted to drink based on price. We unfortunately don't live in Greeley, but will definitely be coming back the next time we are up here!

We were not planning on visiting 477 distillery, and wandered in when our first choice was closed. And I’m so glad we had this pleasant diversion! Matty, our bartender extraordinaire, was so helpful and knowledgeable, and really took us through all of our options and his “bartender‘s choice” chai espresso martini cocktails was one of the best I’ve ever had! While we did not try the waffles, many people around us were eating them and they looked delicious! Thanks for a great visit!

Good food, good drinks. The live blues band did not need their amps, the place is way too small for music that loud. (I can't believe I said that, but many people in our party found the music way too loud.( The drinks I had were quite tasty. If I was local, I would definitely return... just maybe not on live music night. The tacos were good. Fish and steak were my favorite.

Edit: 477 continues to impress. Their cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced. Their spirits are well crafted and the staff is amazing. Original review: Top notch spirits. Though a little young, the bourbon is very good and the gin has a nice kick of flavor that I wasn't expecting. Trendy industrial vibe and friendly staff. I highly recommend stopping by. Just what downtown Greeley needed.

The cherry sour made with bourbon and an egg white top was exceptional! Bartenders were super nice and they allowed the dog on the patio :-)

The BEST Old Fashioned Original with some Great Orange, and I totally loved the Snowball drink tastes like I am drinking an original Candy Cane!!! We will definitely be back!!

If there is something I am truly surprised by, it is the fact that we just happen to have an amazing distillery right here in town. Typically you would think you would have to travel far to find such a gem but great news for Greeley area residents, there is one here. 477 makes one of the best bourbons I have ever had and that is complimented by vast collections of liquors, vodkas, guns, and even more bourbons (try the peanut butter!) They have one of the best drink menus that is constantly being updated and typically rotates for the season. Oh and if you are a fan of old fashions, look no further. On top of all that, the staff and atmosphere round out the enjoyment of hanging out here and enjoying time with friends old and new! Awesome job team for making this an amazing place. Cheers. 🥃

Always a good time here. Like the ambiance and the specialty drinks. Just can't understand why the $$$ prices. Maybe it's because they only expect to sell one or two per customer, because they are cocktails. I self limited to one, but some of that is because of the price. If a drink costs as much as a meal... But they are nice. Just wish they had some specials and maybe more way less expensive non-alcoholic options.

It was suggested we check out 477 distilling and boy it was a fabulous suggestion! After purveying the options, we ordered a couple of living legends old fashions and a pretty boi. YUM! All of the drinks were smooth and flavorful. In fact the OFs were so good we purchased a bottle! We also decided to try a flight which was also tasty. It was a 80's theme night and music was playing and people dressed the part. Great crowd. I would definitely return.

Always a fun experience at 477! What a hidden gem in Greely! We got an orange blossom old fashioned and a watermelon daiquiri tonight. The service was quick with one bartender taking our order and the other making and delivering our drinks. The taproom is cozy and relaxed with plenty of seating for large parties.

This review is for the new Loveland location... First off, there are no servers. You are required to self-order everything at the bar, and you have to go to two separate places to order drinks and food. Super annoying when you are trying to have a nice brunch with friends and everyone has to stand in a line/be away from the table for so long ordering their own stuff.. And they want you to still tip...for what?! They won't even give you a water from the bar...that too is a self-service drink dispenser. They don't even have menus on the tables (or online) so I had to ask where they were located before we could even attempt to order. Now onto the food/service/CROSS CONTAMINATION: I ordered the chicken and waffles, which are NOT supposed to contain jalapeños, but as you can see from my photo there were plenty in there. I went back up to the ordering counter to double check the menu to see if I missed that, or maybe they gave me the wrong order. The girl at the counter says, "Oh they must have been left over in the griddle after your husband's order" (he did get jalapeños on his). Like what???? You don't wipe down the waffle iron between orders??? DISGUSTING. Makes me wonder about the cleanliness overall if that's their excuse. She did offer to have them remake it for me "if the jalapeños are all throughout, but they are probably just on the edges after his order"... Thank god I'm not allergic to jalapeños or they'd have a lawsuit on their hands. Also the mac n cheese is soupy and bland..reminds me of KFC mac but sadly, KFC is even better than this.. They also don't put any prices on the drink menu, so who knows what a cocktail would run you. After the table next to us had to go back up to ask if they forgot about their drinks, I was glad we didn't order one. Note they were not busy at all either on a Saturday, which maybe should have been our first red flag. This place sucks. And I understand that waffles are their thing here, but it would be nice to have at least a couple alternate options.

This is a place that I stop anytime that I am in town. Every time I go I have a different drink. I love this place so much that I buy their spirits and try to recreate what I had.

We had a good time and all the drinks were enjoyed. The cinnamon habanero whiskey was spiced and good! I enjoyed the old fashioned. Several in our party tried out the other menu favorites from a cucumber something to the PBandJ which was interesting. The place is pretty small and unassuming but with a menu for tapas next-door to fall back on and and different music events this place is a good time. Service-4 Menue-4. Love love love the 477. The Living Legend is a....well a legend. Beat old fashioned I have had. Nice variety of cocktails and events. Warm environment and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The story behind the name (477) is interesting and it's a regular stop for my wife and I whenever visiting our college kid.

Nice laid back atmosphere. Wonderful distillery in downtown Greeley that make all of their own product! Bartenders are very friendly and quick to help recommendations! Absolutely love this place!

Go to place for a nice cocktail downtown. Staff is excellent, and has the best service. The distillery has an event board and has a little bit of everything for night life. Most nights are great for conversations over drinks.

Great bourbon and mixed drinks! A chill environment where you don't feel rushed or pressured. Would definitely recommend for an after work drink with the crew or a one on one meetup.

Just a fun atmosphere and great, attractive bartenders! My mom and I had gone to play bingo and the prizes did not disappoint!

Tower 56 was a delight! We were pleasantly surprised to find that there was live music the night that we decided to go out. The folk band added greatly to the ambiance and overall was a great time! But the real star of the night was the coffee old fashioned. It was delicious, their coffee spirit is truly head and shoulders above any other coffee flavored liquor I've ever had. It was so hard to resist the temptation to order another one...or two! But alas we also tried the s'mores and the bee's knees which were also good. The menu has an impressive variety of drinks and flavor combinations. Kudos to the Tower 56 team for their creativity and thoughtful curation of this menu!

With my sister visiting from the Pacific Northwest, I wanted to show her that GREELEY ( yes, stop laughing) can have cool things, too. This is a large space with scattered seating and a casual mood. Wednesday night is not a busy night most places and such was the case here- which was fine and dandy with us as we had the full attention of the cheery staff. Everything is made on site- they had been making gin on the day we were there. My fave drink was the Bee's Knees ( I am a beekeeper) and they make their own vanilla honey syrup. The similar drink with bourbon is called the Colorado Gold Rush and was also stellar. You can bring in food from local places is my understanding of the food policy.

These guys are great! Daniel was the best bartender! Just a heads up, they now go by 477 Distilling. Their bourbon, craft drinks, and liquors are out of this world! Check out the coffee one. Soooo good!

The cocktails and atmosphere are always perfect at 477! I love the creativity - especially of the limited release spirits and their release weekend menus! I also really appreciate their guarantee that you'll love your cocktail or they'll make you something else. Though I've never had a cocktail here that I don't like, it makes me more adventurous and gives me the confidence to try something outside of my comfort zone!

Popped into 477 Distillery today to try some local Greeley bourbons. They had a gorgeous bourbon and then some interesting varieties! Cinnamon, peanut butter and root beer! Interesting to taste and very good but I chose a bottle of Bourbon. The bartender John was very personable, fun and walked us through variations! I'd recommend you pop in and say hi to John and do a tasting! Support local business!

I enjoyed this place. They had a very fun trivia night that brought in a good crowd. The bartenders and staff were friendly and the cocktails were tasty. My only complaint was that my kids' lemonades were $8 each! I didn't know this until I took care of my tab. I think that if a soft drink is that expensive, they should let me know when I order. I know that it is a bar that doesn't necessarily cater to families, but on Harry Potter Trivia night, they should have a selection of soft drinks. For two vodka cocktails and four lemonades, my bill came to $52!!

I love this place. The bartenders are amazing and the drinks are some of the best I've ever had. Greeley needed something like this.

Great drinks and great service. We came in November and loved the warm drinks. The mixologist were knowledgeable and created tasty drinks. Highly recommend.

I'll concede it is a little pricey, but WORTH EVERY PENNEY. Their cocktails are the things of my dreams. Get a reservation ahead of time to make sure you get a seat during Covid

There's no better cocktail in town than 477 Distilling. It's an experience you will enjoy. If you haven't been you are missing out.

Excellent spirits. Try the bourbon-aged gin. The lemoncello is pretty syrupy but nice. Tasty selection of mixed drinks and dessert cocktails.

This was our 5th stop and last of the day following some of the locations on the Colorado spirits trail and instead of doing a flight here we chose to have some mixed drinks. They were both amazing and the andes candy drink was like a decadent dessert. It is a huge welcoming space and they put out some great spirits. I did try a lemon spirit they make but have sadly forgotten the name but may have to go back to pick some up one day. Well worth a visit when in the area

Great bourbon cocktails. Visiting from Northern California wine country and friend introduced me to Tower 56. Definitely, impressed with their spirits. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

Dang good, an incredibly classy and clean place as well, cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen. Whoever cleans this place deserves a phat raise.

Stopped here for a quick drink. Had the Gigi which is their version of a mule. Drink was delicious and prices were reasonable for a craft cocktail. Indoor cornhole and fun atmosphere!

We've been into Tower 56 maybe 5 or 6 times, but every time we are welcomed like a "regular". Every person we have encountered who works there is friendly and outgoing without being overbearing. The space itself is open and modern. The vodka is my favorite, but their other spirits are great as well. They have some very unique mixed drinks and you can even order a couple tacos from next door if you're hungry. A great addition to downtown!

Stopped in to check this place out. Beautiful building and even better service, what tops it all off is the delicious beverages. These guys know what they're doing! I highly suggest checking this place out! Great vibes, great service, great people!

I took my sister here on a fun girls night and we LOVED it!!! The staff and owners were so very friendly and we loved talking with them. My drink was the Echo Berry and decided I will never need to try anything else! It was FANTASTIC!! The atmosphere was great and we had fun playing corn hole. This will be a regular stopping place for us.

A great place to stop with friends and enjoy a crafted cocktail. The bottles are a good value for hand crafted, well made liquors. I like the Dirtybear with a sprig of thyme cocktail.

Fantastic addition to Greeley's downtown scene. Comfortable and beautiful space with some of the best cocktails (amazing array of creative Old Fashions). The owner, Matt, loves his craft and is a pleasure to chat with.

Amazing! Incredibly balanced liquors and cocktails. So glad to have them join the downtown area. Awesome staff and owners as well. My wife typically doesn't like Bourbon but enjoyed Tower 56's very much. We will be back!
