Such a gem in Amsterdam! So glad we decided to stop here for a sandwich. Not going to lie, the food was simple, but sometimes simplicity allows the ingredients and flavours to shine. We came early, right when they opened at 9AM and there were a lot of people coming to get their freshly baked buns. It smelt heavenly there. A really lovely neighbourhood cafe/restaurant - would highly recommend to come!

4850 is one of my favorite cafes in Amsterdam. During the day, they operate as a cafe and their cinnamon buns and sandwiches are delicious. My top recommendation is their egg sandwich, it’s amazing! Also, their coffee is insanely good. It can get quite busy on weekends, so I sometimes just get takeout. Highly recommend this place. The staff are really friendly too!

I arrived around 12:20pm to find the café buzzing with locals — clearly a popular lunch-hour hangout. Seating was tight, but luckily a friendly fellow customer offered to share her table, which added a charming touch of community to the experience. I ordered a cinnamon bun and a filter coffee — a simple combo, but surprisingly satisfying. The bun was soft, generously spiced, and paired beautifully with the smooth, fruity coffee. Altogether, it came to €10, which felt fair for the quality and vibe. The café is nestled in a very local neighborhood, giving you a taste of everyday life here. If you're looking to skip the tourist traps and soak in the local rhythm, this is a great little stop.

A one-time Michelin Bib Gourmand awardee 4850 is a neighborhood Wine Bar that offers Ingredient-focused fare for lunch and dinner, plus a high-quality Coffee program alongside Sandwiches as well as Buns beginning at 9am daily. Part of Amsterdam Oost, a minimalist décor and outdoor seating well suited to warm weather, the menu is concise with the Cardamom Bun as good as the famous ones in Copenhagen while a simple Cheese Sandwich became more thanks to good Butter and a thin layer of sweet Onions.

this was the best cinnamon bun ive had in my life, no question. great place to read, and good music, too. took a while for my flat white to come but i get it was super busy. highly recommend for a quick bite; you wont regret. I was here for two days and had to come by again to get a cinnamon before heading for the airport. got the egg sandwich this time and it was also stellar. super flavor and fresh with tons of herbs and the filling wasn't mushy or anything like other egg sandwiches can sometimes be.

It is amazing place with fabulous atmosphere. If you ever visit Amsterdam, you should visit it. On weekends could be line for take a table, but of you will come around 9.00 it could be free to take a place. Bakeries are amazing, with cinnamons are my favorite. Coffee is good, high level quality. Cappuccino was from real chocolate beans, and tasted great. Not too much sweet, so in general we have a great time with cool nice service, and cool atmosphere. Totally recommend for visit. At the entrance there is a board with Michelin star ⭐️

They are known for their cinnamon rolls and trying today, they did not disappoint. I took it to go, and with a little time in the office the cinnamon roll was amazing. I quite like this version without the overly sticky sweet glaze. The latte was also quite good. Downside is the price to volume ratio, at €8 for a small latte and a cinnamon roll is quite steep.

Had a really good dinner in here! In evening this place turns into a wine bar with 3-4-5 course dinner (you can choose). Each course was really good and unique. Will come back for sure!

Came here to get some coffee with a couple friends and ended up getting a cinnamon roll and bread and cheese as well. Everything was delish and the service super friendly. Interior is minimalistic but then again it's owned by two Swedes so that makes perfect sense :D

What a delightful place. Incredibly easy to get to, both by Tram (3 or 7), and Metro (Wibaustraat). Great mix of quiet and vibrant, while allowing for a bit of privacy. 4850 waltzes between quiet specialty coffee spot, proudly perpetuating a fertile 3rd wave coffee tradition developing across Amsterdam; and exquisite wine lounge with a selection for every pallet. The expertise in all things served leaves nothing unattended, and is coupled well with a Fika and Hygge prefacing atmosphere in keeping with the complete experience. Great coffee.
