Excellent coffee, probably one of the best I've had in the Netherlands. The oat latte is huge and, unlike mainstream cafes, the coffee has the required strength and isn't overshadowed by the oat milk. The egg salad sambo is tasty, with generous ingredients. It is a filling lunch that keeps you going for a good while. I would suggest they start toasting the sandwiches as crunchiness would make the sourdough bread stand out more. The cinnamon and cardamom buns are just as good as all the hype out there. I cannot decide which flavour is best, cinnamon is intense and elegant but cardamon is natural, subtle and you find the small pieces of cardamom throughout the base. Just try the two! The place is busy, even on workdays, so be prepared and don't be shy to share tables. The staff are super hospitable and accommodating and will encourage you to find a cosy and warm spot inside. Despite being busy, the service is very quick. I definitely recommend. The buns seem to be constantly restock in the morning and early afternoon.

Michelin recommended cafe on outskirts of amsterdam centre. Quite a few tables inside and outside but expect a queue. We waited around 15-20 minutes I think and luckily got a table when it was nearly our turn to order. Ordered a matcha latte (hot) , cinnamon bun and cardamom bun. Matcha latte was very matcha and not sweet. Buns were more on the bready side but still nice. I've had better but thata just personal preference on the type of texture you prefer. Cardamom buns had a strong cardamom taste which is always nice.

We were visiting from Hamburg for the weekend and stopped by 4850 — and honestly, it was amazing! This was by far the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned and just full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and attention to detail in every bite. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, and the staff are super friendly and attentive. It’s one of those places where everything just feels right — great food, great service, great vibe. I wish we had something like this back in Hamburg! Absolutely worth a visit. 👏✨

Best flatwhite I have had (as a coffee lover!) You can taste the specialty coffee and the milk foam is so silky 😍 Their buns are super nice as well. Great atmosphere.

The vibes is 10/10 very comfy to hangout and chat! They have outdoor seating as well! But i love the window view seat (perfect to study or do work) !! The cinnamon bun is yummm perfect sweetness, the egg sandwich is nice but not wow…. Overall they have simple menu but perfectly curated ♥️

With its view of the hospital right across the street, this place feels like a real dose of comfort — serving high-quality Scandinavian beans alongside incredible cinnamon, cardamom and saffron buns in a warm, relaxing setting. Their sandwiches are fantastic as well. Truly one of my favorites in Amsterdam!

The best cinnamon bun in town by far! Great coffee and sandwiches to go with it. The cinnamon bun is just the right level of cinnamon, sweetness and bite (can’t get enough!). Egg sandwich gets an honourable mention and the coffee is really good as well!

Cardamom bun is an aromatic bomb, delicious! The cortado had a slight citric zing. Creamy and satisfying. Can’t wait to try La Cabra coffee.

They are known for their cinnamon rolls and trying today, they did not disappoint. I took it to go, and with a little time in the office the cinnamon roll was amazing. I quite like this version without the overly sticky sweet glaze. The latte was also quite good. Downside is the price to volume ratio, at €8 for a small latte and a cinnamon roll is quite steep.

Had a really good dinner in here! In evening this place turns into a wine bar with 3-4-5 course dinner (you can choose). Each course was really good and unique. Will come back for sure!

Came here to get some coffee with a couple friends and ended up getting a cinnamon roll and bread and cheese as well. Everything was delish and the service super friendly. Interior is minimalistic but then again it's owned by two Swedes so that makes perfect sense :D

What a delightful place. Incredibly easy to get to, both by Tram (3 or 7), and Metro (Wibaustraat). Great mix of quiet and vibrant, while allowing for a bit of privacy. 4850 waltzes between quiet specialty coffee spot, proudly perpetuating a fertile 3rd wave coffee tradition developing across Amsterdam; and exquisite wine lounge with a selection for every pallet. The expertise in all things served leaves nothing unattended, and is coupled well with a Fika and Hygge prefacing atmosphere in keeping with the complete experience. Great coffee.
