We came here for dinner 1 year ago and thought it was ok. We went this time for "Jewish brunch" on Sunday and we really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and thought the value was very good for what we got. The mimosa carafe is the way to go, even if you are drinking by yourself. Service was excellent.

Drinks were pretty good, but not anything to write home about. Food was okay at best (we tried the shrimp, potatoes and cauliflower - all of which tasted very similar...). The service was very attentive and the decor was chic. Overall, it was overpriced for the quality.

Great outdoor seating, very cool interior. Nice wine selection..even had my favorite rosé, Lorenza, by the glass! Loved the atmosphere except for the very loud obnoxious group of 21- somethings at 6pm. Friendly hostess and bartender. Can’t wait to return for dinner!

Amazing staff!!! Great food!! We held our rehearsal dinner upstairs at 492. It was a perfect space - an outdoor rooftop portion and a dining room for 30-40 people. The food was amazing and the service was great. An hour into our evening, I called the bakery who made our groom’s cake and realized I had not scheduled delivery. The cake (a surprise for my husband) was in the bakery in Ashley, 30 minutes away. Stephanie heard me on the phone and instead of having me find a friend in town but not at the rehearsal to get the cake, she found someone on their staff who could drive out and pick up the cake. I was blown away by their service and hospitality.

We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was fantastic! The upstairs with the outdoor area is perfect for a small event like we had. Stephanie and the staff were great to work with and the food was delicious. We received so many compliments from our guests!

I’d like to give it more stars, but I can’t. Full disclosure: this review is based on circumstances at 5:30pm on a Wednesday (low volume of patrons for this place at this time f day). The atmosphere? 4.5/5. The service from bartender? Really great drinks and service, not overbearing at all. 5/5. The food? 3/5. I got an order of Culatello from the app menu (a form of prosciutto), which was so salty I almost sent it back. This, coming from someone who loves cured meats. They lucked out on their oysters that day, which were excellent. But that’s less to do with the kitchen and more to do with harvesting and their procurement team. All in all great service, great place, but the cured meats suck.

I have to put this place into my top 5 restaurant trips ever. I went with my girlfriend and am so glad I did! Their food selection is limited and non-traditional, the theme of this place, but it was so damn delicious from appetizer to entree to dessert. Everything about this place seems very innovative and I cannot wait to return to Charleston just to try it again. We actually had one of the managers come up during our meal after hearing my girlfriend and myself "Mmmming" with each bite of our cinnamon dessert. TRY IT!
