Amazing food, and the most wonderful atmosphere. Last night, we went for the 7 course taster menu as a birthday treat, and it was such an amazing experience in every respect. The food was quite incredible, from the Welsh Rarebit appetiser through to the desserts, every part of the menu was fresh and exciting. The atmosphere also was perfect for this type of dining, intimate and personal, and there was the constant feeling that the table servers cared greatly about the guests in the dining room. Gus was fantastic with the guests through the night too. It was brilliant having the chance to meet the man that put the menu together and cooked such amazing food for us, and such a down to earth person. It was lovely to have the chance to speak with Gus and the brilliant staff following the meal, and ended up buying his book which is a brilliant read and highly recommended. Thank you all for a memorable experience, couldn't speak higher of the restaurant and how much we enjoyed the evening.

10/10 food, very impressive solid dining. One of the better meals we had in the Cotswolds. Server didn’t care if we were alive or dead - and felt like we intruded despite having a reservation.

Such a lovely experience - the food kept coming and coming. We did the 7 course taster but had more food than seven dishes. Was so delicious and so well presented, really beautiful and very different. Such interesting dishes - full of surprises. Great service and lovely environment. Wine was fantastic too.

Lovely service and excellent food. Parking can be found outside on the double yellow (no parking wardens after 4pm) or the market square. Each course is thought out and delicious. I was full after a seven course tasting menu, we opted out of the cheese course and bill kindly reflected this. There were also canapés and homemade bread, delicious! Liberty was front of house and did an excellent job at looking after us all. I would come here to eat anytime.

Mixed feelings on our visit, the food was delicious but not good value for money and the service wasn’t great. I’d recommend doing the 5 course menu, as if you do a la carte, it is very bad value as you get tasting menu size dishes, but pay ~£15 for a starter/dessert and ~£30 for a main (£60 total each). Not sure if an error by the servers with dish sizes, but you are effectively getting 5 courses for the price of 3 with the tasting menu. We paid for 3 courses for the same cost as 5 and were expecting larger plates. However they were the same size, as we saw other tables dishes. The same dishes come out at the same time to all the tables, so for each course you are sat waiting for your partner for their different dish.

Best. Meal. Ever. Husband-and-wife team Marcus and Kate richly deserve their Michelin Star at 5 North Street. Every dish is beautifully presented and every mouthful is full of flavour. Kate’s friendly front-of-house welcome and excellent service completed our very enjoyable evening. Doggy friendly too! We will return!

This was the third time we've eaten at 5 North Street and it never disappoints. Lovely front of house and delicious, seasonal food with many exquisite touches. Great atmosphere, nice and relaxed and perfect for any special occasion. We'll be back again!

Absolutely fantastic food, and lovely staff. We had two starters and a main each, so 6 different dishes to try out and every one was amazing.
