I rarely ever write reviews but amaris was such a good server that I had to come on here and say so. She was very attentive and was very sweet ! She made our dining experience a pleasure. I would definitely come here again and I will be returning. The cheese burger in paradise was good and the waffle fries were good !

Sit at the bar and see Ashley she is super nice made our experience amazing!!!! I recommend getting the margaritas and the nachos!

Hi there, I was recently here on a surprise trip with my friends, and I brought them to your restaurant because it was their first time here and I've been to other Margaritavilles across the country. Seemed kinda slow for a 4:45pm arrival. Our server was friendly but was hard to get a hold of and never really around to begin with. Drinks were barely attended to. Had to wait a while for our drinks. Our app arrived before our drinks and the bar didn't look busy (neither did our server since she had about 3 tables total including ours) We ordered 2 fish tacos (blackened) and a chicken sammy. 20 minutes into our wait, a table of 5 gets sat and their order taken. After about 40+ minutes total since our order was taken. The 5 top gets their food before we do. At that point I'm livid. I've worked in the restaurant industry for a really long time. We kept getting told "oh I don't know what's going on with your food" (I do wanna mention, the server claimed that blackened fish takes 'a little longer') (It shouldn't. It's just seasoning.) (Girl, just admit you messed up) It just seems like she forgot to send our entrees in. After we FINALLY got our food, my friend found a hair in her tacos; my shells were dry, the rice and beans were dry, and the actual plate itself was hot, so I know they've just been sitting under the heater for a while. My friend at that point lost her appetite and didn't want a remake. I ate about a taco and a half because I was just starving at this point. Not to mention, I ordered a blackberry moonshine Marg, and definitely got not that. My friend ordered a perfect Marg and said it tasted like trash. We got one set of tacos taken off, and a rogue 23.99 taken off. And our bill was 145 for three people. The manager didn't seem to care considering he was standing at the table when my friend found a hair in the tacos. We traveled about 2 hours for fun, and didn't even get our cheeseburger in paradise.

This was my second time coming to this Margaritaville and I don't plan on going again. The service was abysmal, we waited about 25 minutes for our waitress to take our order after we were given drinks. We then waited over 30 minutes to get our appetizers all while not being approached again by our server to offer refills or any ETA on the delay. It was clear by other tables that everyone was experiencing this same confusion, what was taking so long?! Appetizers finally came out and I was given cold shrimp - the server by the way didn't come back at all to ask how we were enjoying the food, it wasn't until a manager came by that I could ask for the shrimp to be remade. Another 20+ minutes for entrees and still NO OFFERS FOR REFILLS, like they just didn't ever come back at all. It's a shame that this place fell off so badly. Just another sign of how much AC is failing

This is not a restaurant you go to for food. I think it's on the boardwalk to take advantage of intoxicated patrons bar hopping, looking for quick bites. It's an uninspired, over priced, and low quality attempt at Tex Mex. I can accept that it's a much less than stellar franchise. What I'm surprised about is the even worse than bad service I received as a part of a group this past weekend. We were told they ran out of straws, which is most likely an underhanded tactic to upsell the useless candy straws they peddle as a solution to the paper ones. My companion ordered a burger that was supposed to be medium well done. They had to make it 3 times in order to get it right. The restaurant was only 30% full and the food took approx 45 minutes to arrive at the table. The waitress projected incompetence and apathy the entire time. The sole bright spot was the kitchen manager that was called to the table to address the mishaps with the food after going back and forth with the waiter. My sincere hope is that this establishment finally goes out of business and someone who actually cares about the customer experience takes over the space. The cheesy decor, poor food, and utterly unacceptable service need to be put out to pasture sooner than later.

Please don't waste your $$ , poorly cooked previously frozen food. Poor service. A great example of what to never do in a restaurant. I'm glad jimmy buffet is not alive to see or eat here

Front entry is the face of any and all businesses. Margaritaville here in Atlantic City needs to improve their customer service. On July 4th I gave my name for a table of 7. At about 9:10 I approached the booth located at the entry of the restaurant and spoke to the young man and told him "I feel like I've been waiting for 2 hours,". Granted it was only 1 hour and 10 minutes, but that is how I felt. Out of left field a young woman standing beside the young man, started to twist her head and bat her eyes and aggressively stated, "NO YOU HAVEN't'. She was rude and disrespectful. She then called about another 5 employees who all were now standing at the booth talking about the situation as if we were not standing there. My recommendation would be a course in customer service. I felt like they ganging up on my family. I was truly disappointed. That behavior is unacceptable. Poor work etiquette.

Avoid this place like the plague! Waited for an hour for our food, during which the waitress kept coming by every 10 minutes or so to tell us the kitchen was backed up but our food should be arriving "momentarily". The place did not seem busy at all. As a part of our order we had had ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees, and we saw that other customers around us, who came after us got the the appetizers in a few minutes. When we asked what about our orders, the waitress explained that we had ordered the appetizers as "entrees", and that was what was taking so long. When we laughed at the ridiculousness of this statement, and said we were leaving she said that she will call her manager to "explain". Waited for the "manager" for 5 minutes and then left. What an epic waste of time!! Enough said!

Ugh, this place has so much potential but it's sad to see it go down hill. Came here in a party of 4 on a Sunday, with a small wait to be seated. The decor is very cool and there's so much to see when you look around. The food was equivalent to average diner food unfortunately. Both food and drinks were slow to receive, and the service was subpar. Salad wasn't fresh, burger was dry... The bathrooms were gross, with the garbage overflowing, etc. Wished they took more care of the place being that it's right on the boardwalk!

I am writing this review to express my profound disappointment with the recent experience my family and I had at your Atlantic City location. Having visited the Margaritaville in Las Vegas several times and always having had phenomenal experiences, I expected a similar level of service and quality at your Atlantic City establishment. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. After attending the Office Murder Mystery show, my family of six decided to dine at Margaritaville. We waited over an hour for our food, which is unacceptable by any standard. Despite our waitress reassuring us several times that our food was on its way, it did not arrive within a reasonable time frame. When I inquired again after about 40 minutes, the waitress curtly responded that she could not control what happens in the kitchen. In an attempt to resolve the situation, I spoke to the manager, especially since several other groups who arrived after us received their food before us. The manager offered a simple apology, attributing the delay to a new kitchen staff. While I understand that new staff may require an adjustment period, this explanation did not address the inconvenience and frustration we experienced. I felt that the least that could have been done was to provide us with an option during the mishap to decide if we wanted to continue waiting for our food. Instead, my family and I felt disregarded and unappreciated. The lack of a satisfactory response from management has led me to believe that this type of service might be the norm at this location. As a result, I would not recommend this Margaritaville location to anyone visiting Atlantic City. I urge potential patrons to spend their money elsewhere, where they will be appreciated and receive timely service. I hope that this feedback will be taken seriously and that steps will be taken to ensure that future customers do not experience the same level of poor service.

Just find someplace else to eat ! No need for the service to be this bad. Plenty of other staff just twiddling their thumbs. Even the manager was just standing around with wait staff watching TV. When the food finallly came out not only was it all wrong (brought out a crabcake meal instead of a crabcake sandwich, hamburger came out raw covered in the items we asked not to have on it ) but it was so disgusting we ate a few bites and left the rest.

Poorscha was fabulous! Had a great dinner with 16 of us - she took great care of us! Thanks for a fun night (and great music!)

We were there party of 3 yesterday 5/29/24 Food was sub par, drinks were weak and service was poor. We asked for manager to complain and manager sent assistant manager because she wad busy socializing. Our waitress was nice enough but did not take care of many issues. We all asked for water it tasted really bad and we could not drink they replaced with bottled water at $4.75 per bottle. My fish in seafood platter was mostly batter. My Wifes steak was tough and fatty and her ceaser salad was filled with hard chunks of lettuce. My drink was watered down and cost $14.00. Assistant manager apologized but dod nothing for us. We will never return and will tell our friends and family not to go there. Sorry Jimmy Buffet but your resturant sucks.

Waited nearly hour for food, didn't get refills requested. Worst experience with franchise.

The service here is absolutely HORRIBLE. Came here for an early dinner on a Saturday afternoon and was sat immediately. It wasn't busy yet as there were multiple tables open. We were sat in a booth right next to the entrance and were ignored for 35 minutes. We spoke to two different people - the hostess and a nearby waiter who promised us our waiter would come but never did. After we got up to leave, they sat us elsewhere where we then waited another 10 minutes for another waiter. I would not recommend coming to dine here (especially during popular hours) as it was super disorganized.

Overall I had a great experience here, I highly recommend. When we first arrived there were many people waiting, and we were told there'd be a long wait. They had us seated within 10 minutes, it was incredible. Walking in the atmosphere is exactly how'd I pictured it -very Jimmy Buffet. Relaxing, low key energy. There was even live music, the artist was an incredible musician. It was such a pleasant surprise for a Monday night. Drinks wise I had to order a margarita, it just felt right. It was well crafted and tasted 100% made in house, no mix. Very boozy too in the spirit of Margaritaville, no complaints here. For the most part the food was fantastic. Both friends I came with cleared their plates and raved about the food. The appetizer was yummy too, we had the shrimp and it tasted like a Big Mac in the best way possible. For my main I ordered the fish tacos, they were super good but the tortilla was bad. It was tough and hard to bite. Not at all the soft warm tortilla I was expecting. I still enjoyed my main despite the shell though. Service was great! A little slow at times but I could tell our server was busy. Definitely stop here! Of all the restaurants I've visited on my trip to Atlantic City this was by far my favorite!

I have seen Margaritaville all over the place... the islands, other states, seriously all over. But I never had an inkling to drop by. Unfortunately, brunch plans fell through and this was a spontaneous backup plan after studying the menu hard. It wasn't super packed in there, so me and the two folks I was with went in and sat at the bar. We sat somewhere after someone else had just gotten up, so their dishes were still all over the place. The bartender cleaned up the area within 5 minutes. After that, we placed drink orders, and then a few minutes later placed food orders. I got a blackberry moonshine margarita as my drink... it was quite good, but compared to the others it didn't taste quite as strong? But I felt it... a dangerous drink indeed. It took a while, but my delicious looking plate of jerk salmon arrived on a bed of white rice and sauteed spinach. I was impressed by the jerk sauce -- I wish I got more of it, but we were supposed to meet up with others and I didn't want to risk it taking a long time. Now, the salmon and spinach were good (though the latter was more buttery than I prefer), the rice could've used some kick... I guess that's because I'm used to having rice and peas with anything jerk. While I think the service was a tad slower than it should've been, this was not a bad first experience at Margaritaville. Not to mention, they have late night happy hour starting at 8:00 PM every evening. Would I return? Yes. Do I know when? No.

Service was ungodly horrible. We were a group at a table, and a table that was seated 40 minutes after us was done before we got our food -- that was brought 1-2 people at a time over about a 10-15 minute period. I asked to see the manager -- she could care less. If it were my business I would fire the manager and our server, but it's not my business... Will never go back, would not recommend, and will never visit another Margaritaville in any location.

I guess everything is a little more expensive because it's on the boardwalk. My sister ate here last time she visited, so we choose this place as a main meal for the day while on the boardwalk. The place was crowded on the outside as well as the inside, probably because it's one of the restaurants right off the beach. I decided on the cod fish fillets and fries which was good. $22.00 was the price for 4 pieces decent sized pieces of cod fish and a decent amount of fries. My sister fish tacos and her friend burger looked yummy as well.

Looking for a lunch spot, and they weren't busy, and we were seated right away. Ordered sweet tea and then ordered a chicken quesadilla the trio combo. The trio combo is an appetizer combo. The spinach artichoke dip was salty. Overall taste wasn't bad, and the chips were fine, but the dip itself was just too salty to each very much. The battered chicken was good and cooked properly. The egg rolls had an overcooked shell and a pretty bland taste. The two dipping sauces that came with it were a mustard dip and a thousand island sauce, neither of which really went with the chicken or the egg rolls very well. The quesadilla was dry and overcooked. It came with a side of sour cream and a small cup of pico de gallo that wasn't enough for even part of it. The service was good, nothing great or bad.

Recently stopped while visiting Atlantic City, my friend and I prefer sit down restaurants. Hostess was super nice, seated right away, and waitress was prompt, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Drink orders arrived and meal soon afterwards, which was fresh and delicious! Price was fair and the atmosphere is super fun! We observed multiple staff (bartenders, bussers, servers) all working and placed seemed genuinely upbeat! Bathrooms were clean. Wish we had stopped here the night before and enjoyed it twice. Thanks for the great meal and cool place to dine in.

Stopped in for an appetizer - it was good but overpriced but perhaps right on point for being in a casino. Summer staff just getting up and running and so service was painfully slow for being the only customers originally in the place. But fun place to go.

This place is not what it used to be or maybe it's just this location. I've been to Margaritaville in Florida a few years back and it was good. This location in AC, the food was just horrible. The egg rolls were dry, the fried chicken sandwich was not edible and the shrimp pasta had no flavor. The drinks were not strong. You would think with the name Margarita in it that their Margaritas would be great but it taste like juice. It's sad because the ambience and decor at this restaurant are really nice but the food is horrible.

Porscha was a great server with our large group-- she did a terrific job. Food was... OK

Went there off season and it was a little busy. But they were short handed. Server was nice. Wife had chicken tenders and the had the fish breading she did not like it. I thought it was ok. I had the ribs and they were pretty good. I'm a onion ring snob and these are pretty good.

It was just a major no. All the food was sad and the water tasted like dish water. Very expensive for terrible food.

Ordered the volcano nachos, the description mentions meat, but couldn't find any. The waitress says it's in the chili sauce, but the sauce is missing texture for meat.... Where is the beef? She even came back to ask how we found it yet, the answer is still No!

Group of 4. One person ordered the shrimp pasta for $32. He got 6 small popcorn shrimp and not much pasta. His wife ordered a burger, and the bun was burnt on the inside. My wife ordered the burger (which was overcooked) with raw onions and didn't get them. I ordered the wings which were overcooked. Our waitress Brooke was great, but OMG, what horrible food....won't be back...

My drink tasted like candy and had no alcohol in it. When I told the server, he brought me a shot and then brought me the tap, charging me $12 for it without informing me. The manager said there was nothing they could do, but I did not ask for the shot.

Great food. Great drinks. Even better employees that work there. My server was great host was nice and bartenders were awsome as well.

I visited Atlantic city Mother's Day weekend and had dinner at Margaritaville for 2 nights. The food was very good and the service was even better, they have a honey jerk chicken entree that had a lot of flavor and the steak was made perfectly . When I visit again I'll be sure to dine there and I forgot to mention the prices were reasonable.

Amaris was a great waitress! Drinks were so good. She was attentive but intrusive or invasive. We will be back! Amelia, the supervisor was very active in assuring customer satisfaction

There was about 40 minute wait so I put my name down and stood near by. In about 40 minutes, I received a text so I went to see the host. Host said they had the wrong table ready so told us to wait 2 more minutes which I was OK with. After about 10 minutes wait, she didn't even bother to give us an update. So I asked what's going on and she asked for my name as if she never saw me before lol. I was literally standing in front of her for last 50+ minutes. They are super unorganized. By the way, while I waited I noticed some people were getting seats immediately. I specifically saw 2 girls ask for a table and was told there is about 45 min wait but after some whispers, they were seated immediately. Management needs to do something about this BS. Oh yeah, the food isn't worth the wait. Many of the menu items weren't available. Also not sure why they got rid of taco salad which was 1 thing that was decent here.

Quick service for a Friday night. Food was good accommodating for seafood allergies was handled well. Mountain margarita was so good like a sour patch kid. The staff was really nice too.

Great food great waiter the guest in my party were not happy with there food they sent it back but my order was easy fish and chip u can't go wrong with that but the chips were nasty but they did take off for that and the other guest meals as well

I love Jimmy, but the food here simply isn't good. There are so many great places to eat in Atlantic City, but this isn't one of them. "I'm wasting my money eating at Margaritaville"

Amazing drinks!!! Loge the Lava Lava Shrimp and Jerk Salmon! Loved my server Amaris, she's went above and beyond! Definitely coming back

I'm not a fan of restaurant by casinos. I have had enough disappointments. We walked in and were greeted and seated with a positive attitude. Order for drinks and food was taken in good time. Even our order came out in good time .my meal was average. Nothing to write home about. But still correct. Two of the other meals there were no complaints. However the chicken tenders . When cut into had a several gray spots on the that were not even be close to being. Appetizing. I still may come back. It's not worst experience I have had in Atlantic City.

BE AWARE! Recently my purse was stolen at the restaurant. I was in the restaurant less than an hour. It was under the table by my foot and never left unattended. Resorts Security and AC police were called.The comment I received from the restaurant was, "This is AC!" If it happened to me, it could happen to you!

The location is great. Other than that, it's not a place to eat at. The two food orders were less than good. The service was slow. We also had a coupon for a free appetizer but the waitress did not honor it. Will not be back.

While in Atlantic City, New Jersey We had to stop for a loaded land shark At Margaritaville. Located in the Resort Casino we bellied up to the bar and was greeted by Victoria Rose are bartender, she was so friendly with great service.

Well it's 2 strikes and you're out for me. Second time here and the food is consistently terrible. This time around, all we wanted were burgers but we were told nothing grilled was available: no burgers & no grilled chicken to add to a salad. No explanation so we didn't know if they were out of food or if the grill was down. This isn't great for a Friday night at 8 pm and the host should have told us about this when we put our name in and waited for 30 mins. Ended up getting chicken tenders that were overcooked & had no flavor. It's clear that they're understaffed, so I'll give our waitress a pass but service is just so slow. Won't be going back.

Excellent server, Porsha. Enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Food was prompt, all staff where pleasant.

After reading the reviews I was a bit apprehensive about trying this location, but after going over to Landshark Bar & Grill (glanced over their menu & left. Margaritaville had more options. Landshark had the view). I decided it was best to just give it a try. Glad I did! Our waiter was pleasant and the food was delicious. The ribs were falling off the bone tender. I would recommend this establishment.

Very overrated! Ambience is okay, bartender and service was good, however, the food was terrible. My girl and I had lunch at the bar. We ordered barbecue wings, a Cobb salad and a grilled chicken sandwich. The wings were bad but just overloaded with barbecue sauce. I think the chicken in both the salad and the sandwich was frozen, mass-produced chicken thawed out and heated up in a microwave. While I can not confirm that to be the case, that's how it tasted.
