Great atmosphere and awesome beer with lots infused flavors that are popular all over Latin America. I like IPAS but that's not their strong field, they only had two and my favorite is the Lulo Galastico. To be honest, they have a very limited amount of beers. Since they don't make my Lulo Galistico, I had to switch to Ironica a smooth and refreshing hazy IPA.

Awesome beer and awesome service. Love the atmosphere. If you are in Chicago you need to come through and try the beer. Kid and pet friendly brewery.

Some of the best beers in the Chicago area! All their beers have a Latin theme and inspiration! My personal favorite is Paletas Guava which is their take on a Guava popsicle... delicious and perfect for summer! Ask about Chinga tu Pelo!

The music and beer are great. If you like craft beer with real flavor, this place is for you. You can take your own food every day. I think there is normally a taco guy there on Thursdays.

Fantastic tap room space in a corner of the production brewery. Outdoor seating in good weather is delightful, indoor seating is plentiful and eclectic. Delicious beers, often with taproom exclusive experimental brews available.

Great beers, family atmosphere. The experimental brews (this time, a churro-inspired sour) are hit-or-miss, but the micheladas and slushies are delightful.

What a delightful adventure we just experienced at 5 Rabbit Cervecería! First of all, what an incredible and inspiring mission: creating quality and delectable cerveza (beer) in the tradition of Latin America! Second of all, the beer is outstanding! I partook in their $14 flight of five beers and never before have I been so pleased with every single beer! The 5 Rabbit and 5 Lizard were very solid...taking a more complex twist in more traditional beers! I also really liked the Yodo con Lèche porter! So creamy and full of flavor! There were three beers that really stood out to me! First, the Vida y Muerte Oktoberfest was a brilliant twist of cinnamon on the traditional Oktoberfest. My partner and I both loved this and we ended up getting a growler of it to go! My personal favorite was the La Pina de mis Ojos sour ale with pineapple. It was delightfully tart and subtly sweet! I got a pint of this after the taster! My partner and I also loved the experimental brew: Licuado de Papaya. This sweet beer was complex and full of papaya, lactose, and vanilla flavors! We loved it and would have gotten a growler of it if that was possible! Furthermore, the staff and space are welcoming and open! We felt super comfortable here for several hours as we ordered dinner (they let you order in outside food) and did some work, utilizing the free WiFi. They also have phone chargers if you need them! How cool!! This is definitely going onto our routine of brewery/dinner workspots! We loved 5 Rabbits Cerveceria and cannot wait to come back!

5rabbit is a great cervecería! We went with friends and loooveee it. We went Thursday night, because they have tacos! Taco Thursday, 5:30-9pm Make sure to arrive early! The tacos will be gone if you are to late. The selection of beers is wonderful and the beers are so tasty. We had Xicago The Dama and Cacao If you want to have a good local experience This is the place. Is a little far from Chicago, but is absolutely worth the trip. They have some board games on the tap room. If you don't want to come for taco Thursday, you can bring your own food other day. Or order something. We really enjoyed it. Salud!

As stated by a couple of other reviewers this was not easy to find. They have their logo up on the side of the building, but Waze took me to the opposite side of the building. Having the brewery name on the building would make it much easier for potential customers to locate them. For anyone coming after me, the building is at the northeast corner of 74th and Narragansett. The small unmarked pedestrian door right next to the roll up door that faces Narragansett is the entrance. Yes there is no real sign. I guess the adventure in finding it is part of the allure. The taproom is a corner of the brewery and looks like it could really be hopping at times with quite a few large tables available. They have a big selection of board games as well as a foosball table. I was the first in the door when they opened at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. Initially I received what I thought was a rather cool and unwelcoming reception, despite being the only customer around. The beers, well let's cover the good, the bad, and the ugly. When I ordered my flight I was told they were out of El Sudor De Santo, or Satan's Sweat. This is aged in tequila barrels and interested me, also let's be honest that it has a badass name. Overall I was not overly impressed with the beers. The 5 Lizard was just nasty unless you like your beer with a seriously overpowering citrus kick. If you order the 5 Lizard, just smell it. It is heavenly! Now stop!!! Don't drink it and all will be well... The Arroz Con Leche also was really not good. This beer is billed as an imperial blonde with jasmine rice, vanilla, cinnamon and lactose. I didn't finish the taster, and considered trying to find a Tide Pod to cleanse my palate. I don't know why they bother having it on tap, and I always look for something to like in every beer I try. On a better note, the Lupita & the 3 King's was actually pretty good, as was the Fabulosa Porter, which was a wheat porter. The young lady staffing the bar brought me a taste of the El Sudor Del Santo, a wild wit which is barrel aged in tequila barrels. This was nice of her as apparently she noticed I was interested in trying everything they had, and it just went back on tap. This was the highlight of my visit as it has a really nice sour note even on the nose. I admit to enjoying sour beers, and this one saved my visit to 5 Rabbits. It absolutely would not be for everyone (Corinne) as not only does it have the sour notes to it but overlay that with the flavors imparted from the tequila barrels. There really is quite a bit going on with this beer, thought definitely some non-traditional things. I enjoyed this one. Overall I can't give 5 Rabbits a really glowing recommendation. Several beers I didn't like at all, and I like all styles. It is worth a stop, particularly as it is one of the only breweries nearby. The next time I am in the area I will give them a try again and see how that plays out. We loved 5Rabbit Cerveceria. Inspired by Latin America but brewed in Bedford Park, they have shown me some of my favorite brews. Some you have to try: Yodo Con Leche, 5Vulture, SuperPils, Gringolandia Ironica IPA, La Piña de Mis Ojos. They also host great events and have delicious tacos, usually once a week. Excited to see what is next!

Went to this brewery over the weekend for a family engagement party, there was a lot of different unique beer combinations that I wish I had tried. Everything from a tomato based and chili pepper infused beer, among fruit flavored beers like passionfruit. The art work around the brewery was awesome and very well decorated. Overall a great experience, it was so busy on a Saturday night that parking was completely packed and we found people parking on the grass. haha

Worth checking out if you're a fan of their beer and want to be a completist in visiting all the Chicago breweries. Their beers are good, ironica ipa is my favorite, but they don't make many new ones, it's basically always the same line up. Their taproom is big, with a lot of space, but kind of hard to get to, in the middle of a trucking area near Bedford Park. They have board games, and sometimes bean bags, and also food trucks are usually there. The other downside is they're only open half the week, and not Sundays, so you have to plan around that when trying to visit. Not my favorite taproom, but at least it's good to have another south side brewery.

Its been a bit since being in there but it was off putting. The things that come out of the mouths of the staff here really raises eyebrows. It seems like management probably have the same mindset. The beer is alright, average among the glut of new local breweries. Definitely not worth being around negative people...

Every single aspect was top notch. Service: amazing. Came over to the picnic table and helped us pick a flight. Beer: each one was better than the last. If the cacao (imperial stout) is available - GET IT. Hands down the best stout I've ever had. Also had the "experimental" xicago 3.0 - perfect and almost light Mexican lager. But the 5 lizards was like summer in a glass - and on a cold day in January in chicago, it was great. Bathrooms are mixed but all have locking stalls now. Decor and ambiance was great! Lively and colorful. Bar area has smaller high top tables and counters, open area has long, communal picnic tables - and 2 kid picnic tables! Tons of games and toys, music. It was just a really fun experience!

Ahh, the beer was ok. Service was good. A flight of beers was $14. My favorite was the cucumber beer, the bathroom is straight up unisex frfr. I'm not down with using the bathroom with ppl perpetrating from the opposite sex- There isn't event a door. It's just some stalls to piss and a door with urinals. Not into that crap. Weird!!!

I love this place the beer is amazing But today I was disappointed with the service I can believe that the employees are drinking and play instead checking the clientele. I was there today for about an hour and I only have to drinks because they were busy playing and I decided to leave. I was a regular till now Friday's are not busy they have enough time to serve better

It's not summer unless I've drunk one of 5 Rabbit's paletas brews. Yes, POPSICLE BEER. Muy bueno, muy refrescante.

Lots of fresh local beer and a minimalist atmosphere inside their brewery. They have tables for you to enjoy a random movie playing in the background, board games and the occasional food truck selling delicious food to accompany your drink. They also have merch and beer to go and everyone is quite friendly. The only weird thing is that they were playing Neutral Milk Hotel. Didn't fit the mood at all. It's like me going to Local Option or Skeleton Key Brewery and hearing Café Tacvba on the PA.

I've been painstakingly hitting up breweries in and around Chicago (& elsewhere) for a little over 3 years now, and 5 Rabbit wasn't even on the radar because I thought their beer sucked. I also felt the Latin element was a warmed-over gimmick. To me, they were like the beer version of Pitbull. Mr. 7-0-8 dale, drink this beer, dale, it tastes good in the hood, take yo clothes off mami , wish you would, dale. I just summed up that guys whole career in five bars. Back to the point of this Yelp thing. On a day of touring south suburb brewries, we finally decided "what the hell?" Consequently my perception of 5 Rabbit started to change. First off, they have a brewery cat named Fishsticks. He is awesome. He liked to chill where all the people were sitting and having brews. He runs and plays and does cat things. Secondly, it's just a cool taproom. The Latin vibe makes the atmosphere pop, but not in a loud, drunken, some-body-might-get-shot way. It's welcoming and different than most others. Let's be real. The craft beer scene lacks....diversity. In that sense, 5 Rabbit is a breath of fresh air. I started to realize it's kind of not a gimmick. They f****n' had a rosca de reyes on Kings' Day, and they hate Donald Trump. Maybe they are about that life. Visiting also made me appreciate and understand what they're doing with beer. I'm not going to sit here and disingenuously laud their beer more than needed, but they have more beer that I like than initially thought. Once a place I never imagined myself going to, I now look for reasons to go back. Awesome place.

Love! First time here, they have a guy come and cook tacos on site which is cool, could use a little more for the price though... I HIGHLY recommend their bottled beers in the fridge... Amazing!

Looking for a completely different brewery experience than you've ever had before? 5 Rabbit may be just what you are looking for. 5 Rabbit was the first Hispanic owned brewery in the US which is nothing to scoff at. For me personally, trying their signature beers 5 Rabbit, 5 Grass and 5 Lizard was what got me into craft beer. So basically, they created a monster. 5 Rabbit's tap room is called The Rabbit Hole and it's filled with tables of various shapes & sizes, games, tons of cool decor, merch and a record player. I'm not sure if it was a hired DJ when I went on Friday night or just some random customer spinning, but on the agenda was old school music in Spanish...I'm thinking 50s or 60s style. It was pretty cool and it totally fit the eclectic atmosphere. One fun item was some really old school Trump game they had in the taproom. Considering the recent controversy over his many horrifying statements he has made about immigrants and his connection to 5 Rabbit, I had a fun time flicking off his face while sipping their beer. They only had 6 beers on tap which was kind of sad but I'm hoping things expand a little as they settle into this new venture of taprooming. Of their signature beers (in my mind those are 5 Rabbit, 5 Vulture, 5 Grass and 5 Lizard), they only had Lizard on tap - but that is my personal fav of the bunch. I wish it would be standard procedure to have those four on tap at all times. I would have loved to try them all straight from the source! In addition to 5 Lizard on tap, they had Yodo Con Leche, Vienna Lager, Gringolandia Super Pils and 2 of Las Paletas flavors - Sandia (Watermelon) and Tamarindo. Pro-Tip: Check their website to see what's on tap before heading over. Overall I found most of the beers to be aiight. I love the concept of Las Paletas but haven't yet tasted one I've fallen in love with yet. Word on my street is a spicy one is around the corner though, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that. The guy working at the taproom is pretty amazing. I saw him going table to table chatting people up, including us, asking what people liked best and he seemed genuinely interested. He knew all about the history of 5 Rabbit and was more than happy to tell you all about it. He was really, really great with us and all the customers while there. I ended up spending way more than I anticipated because I loved their merchandise. I got myself a pint glass ($5), a bomber to go ($13) and a Chinga Tu Pelo shirt ($15) bc F Donald Trump! Most filled pints were about $5 and a flight of 5 beers was $10. You can also fill a growler (prices vary) and join their growler club. Overall, the prices aren't bad, but they need a bit more selection considering they have become one of the most popular Chicago breweries so I'm sure their taproom will become a destination spot. Atmosphere is funky-chill and relaxed which I enjoyed but the music can get loud so you may want to grab a picnic bench table just outside the main seating area. Pleeeeeasssse add more tap selections and I'll be back fo' sho'! 5 Rabbit tiene mi corazon. *heart*

This place is home away from home! The music, the food, the drinks and the ambiance make make me so so happy every time I visit! The only thing I wish they had, is permanent food options. I like the variation of the pop up restaurants but I've visited a couple times when the run out of food and there no nearby restaurants.

All time favorite brewery! Friendly owners and great atmosphere. I make it a habit to check their IG and Facebook page for updates and events like bottle releases.

I have a friend that bought 2 shirts, and he never got them. Even after he called, emailed, and even sent Facebook messages. I know it's COVID times and shipping and processing times are slower, but what kind of business TAKES YOUR MONEY, READS messages, and NEVER responds. They definitely read his message and never responded! He has been calling and reaching out for a while now! At least give him an update if there is to be a delay instead disappearing and taking his money. I cannot believe the "customer service". I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone!

As all the reviews state, yes it looks like a warehouse from the outside, but man, is it unique inside. Came here with my god parents, mom, boyfriend, and a friend on a Thursday night around 7pm! God, how we loved it here! Every single beer was to my liking. The beer flight was delicious and I was buzzed off my ass after that. There was also a man there making tacos to order who left before we knew it. We had a great time and couldn't stop laughing and babbling on. We also talked with the owner/co-owner for a bit who was a pretty chill laid back guy who explained to us how much they care about the quality of the beer; you can definitely tell. After you read this review, don't wait any longer. Gather up your pals and come here!

I was just there today for their "Chinga Tu Pelo" beer event and the "Cacao" release. I am a huge fan of their beer due to their unique taste. Each of their beer reminds me of different things in my Hispanic culture. This past summer I was obsessed with the "Paletas" beer (guava flavored beer) which I just thought was the best ever! Their beers always have funky names such as the Ponche beer, Yodo con Leche, La Chingona, or their fruit flavored beers. The ambiance at the brewery is very laid-back and chill... for today's event they had music playing which made it even more lively. The crowd is cool and just very friendly overall. The taco truck outside has the bomb-diggity tacos and salsas!! Def try them out when you are there! I plan to come back soon now that I know the drive from Chicago wasn't too bad and got a taste of their cool culture!

I first tried 5 Rabbit during a Yelp event, and it was love at first sip. I had been wanting to check out the Rabbit Hole, but it's not in Chicago and honestly I was too lazy to drive out to Bedford Park. My buddy and his girlfriend were here visiting and they wanted to check out 5 Rabbit, so we decided to make the trek out to the Rabbit Hole, and I'm glad we did. We wanted to do the tasting tour (Saturdays at 3 pm for $10), but we were stuck in traffic and ended up missing it. No biggie, as we ended up getting flights (6 pours for $10) and chatted it up w/ some of the workers who told us about the history of 5 Rabbit. All the beers were good, but my favorite was the Gringolandia Wheat. The Paletas had a nice hint of guava in it and was pretty refreshing. The tasting room is a great place to hang out. It's super chill and laid back. The decor is pretty cool, too (metal pipe stools and coat rack!). We were told they bring in local vendors for food, and when we were there, some barbecued ribs were being sold. 5 Rabbit is a great place to go and hang out. The beer is awesome and the workers are cool. Don't let the distance deter you - it's worth the trek!

Been here twice, once with my girlfriend and second time with my father. Nice small brewery with cool employees like mike, mike kennedy and leon. Their beers are different but that's what make them stand out from the rest of the breweries popping around in Chicago. Cool place to hang out and sample their craft beers. They don't offer complimentary snacks or they don't have any food for sale in their tap room but they do have a taquero come in every thursday afternoon for people to purchase tacos. They will also let you bring in your own food if you prefer. Don't forget to purchase 5 rabbit brewery merchandise and beer to go and check their Facebook page often for special events too.

Awesome music, ambiance, and most importantly, great tasting beers! I came here on a Saturday afternoon. The first thing that caught my attention was the music; they were playing Cafe Tacvba, then Soda Stereo, then Alejandro Sanz, then Vicente Fernandez...it was as if they tapped into my old Ipod and hit shuffle..lol! It was great to hear some latin alternative tunes. Then, came the ambiance, which was filled with latin murals, artwork depicting rabbits, and a packed place filled with a mix of happy people enjoying the day. They have a variety of board games, a foosball table, and menus to place a delivery order, when you get hungry. There is a rotating list of beers handwritten on the chalkboard signs. You order your beer, put a credit card on a tab or pay there and enjoy. I had a flight of beer, which consisted of 5 choices. My choices were: La Protesta, 5 Vulture, Huitzi, Cascarudo, and Yodo con Leche. My favorite was the Huitzi, which has hibiscus and palm sugar. Tasty! I will definitely be back to try more beers and just chill out.

Dj on Fridays Gets crowded after 8pm but an outside patio just in case you get overwhelmed. No cover $7 drafts and $10 for a six pack to go. Parking is very limited if you don't find parking in front go around the corner to the delivery deck and they'll let you park there 4 cars max.

Stopped by for taco Thursday and so glad I did. They bring in a taco guy. Beef or pork. Excellent accompaniment with their fantabulos beer! These are the very best, most creative and just fucking tasty beers I have ever had. And trust me, I love beer. That's a huge statement. Long live 5 Rabbit Cerveceria!

Hidden gem! I love the casual layout and how at home you feel, like you're hanging out in the backyard with friends. Taco Thursdays are great and I love that they allow you to order food for delivery as well! New favorite hang out, can't wait to go in the summer and get some paletas beer.

Leave the city. Head towards an area that looks ripe for storing dead bodies. Turn a few shady corners and wonder WTF you are - but then alas - on the wall...the wabbit... Great beer. Went on Thursday. $6 for 3 fantastic taqueria style al pastor tacos (dress them as you deem fit). Bucket list? 'eh. Chicago Bucket List - yea. Probably should be on it for the experience of having street food, inside a brewery, and essentially drinking straight from the cow.

I love love love this brewery!! The beers are always inventive and delicious, the staff is gracious and accommodating, the tacos on Thursday are divine! I especially love when the weather warms up and we can sit outside at the picnic tables and kids can run around! It's fabulous!

Just left a "Day of the Dead" event at 5 Rabbits. I should have turned around and left as soon as I walked in the door. If I could have left no stars I would have. I arrived a little after 7 and there was a line for beer. It took over a half hour to get a beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After waiting a half hour for the beer you could also purchase a ticket to get food. Another half hour line for food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After seeing the food line I quickly finished my beer and left without the food!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why kind of fools are running this place that they allow customers who want to spend money stand in line to spend money. HELLO, your customers are not spending money when the are in line. If you want to go to a good local microbrewery go to Imperial Oak in nearby Willow Springs. I can guarantee that you will be served a beer within a few minutes of stepping up to the bar.

The Octoberfest beer is the best Marzen style beer out there. am going back to Hopleaf to drink Vide y Muerte some more.

Taproom is a decorated corner of the brewery. Lots of room and interesting feel - sitting with the large brew facility surrounding you is cool. 6 beers on tap and a cooler of sixes and bombers to go. Beer types and tastes at this brewery are eclectic: guava ale, pineapple stout (which is very good), etc. Two good flagship brews, a malty brown ale and flavorful golden ale are also good. The bartender when we were in was brusque and unhelpful. Very first thing he said to us was "I need ID's" - no welcome or greeting. I'm a gray-haired 54-year-old. If they have a 'card everyone' approach, I get it. But, when you card someone who is eligible for AARP, do it with a smile and some humor. He was in a hurry to leave 15 minutes before closing, and just told it was "that time" and dropped the iPad off for payment. So, if you're looking for a place that has brewers or staff interested in talking about their beer, look to one of the many alternatives (Blue Nose is close and excellent). Others mention the politics of this place that describes itself as proudly Latin. On our visit one of the beers was named, when translated: "F$ck Your Hair." The poster for the brew shows Trump and says "stop the hate." I am appalled by Trump too, but this is an odd juxtaposition of hate and a plea to overcome it. Curiously, for a business seeking to end hate, they have several brews with "Gringolandia" in the title. I expect they'd react poorly to a beer (they're certainly defensive about a politician doing it) that started with a slang word for Mexican and wonder why they don't offer the same courtesy to Americans. One trip here is more than enough for me.

So far, it's my favorite brewery in the Chicago area (grain of salt here, I haven't been to Lagunitas yet, but I've been to most others). I've only been once and I've been dying to make it back ever since. The ambiance of the place is exactly what I want from a bar/brewery: laid back, perfect volume, free games, cool art, cool employees. It also looked like if you've been there enough and they know your name, you can probably poor your own beers. I want that. The beer is interesting, brewed in a traditional Mexican style. I've had their namesake beer, Chinga tu Pelo, 5vulture, 5grasshopper, and one other I can't remember the name of. The only one I wasn't fond of was 5vulture, but I think it was just personal taste. 5grasshopper is so tasty - a lager brewed with coriander and other spices for a crisp, refreshing brew perfect for hot summer days. My 5 star rating is entirely for the beer and atmosphere, I'll update my review after I return and try some food, but this place would be great to bring some friends on a Saturday afternoon.

I bought 2 shirts from their website and never received anything. I tried to contact them for months by phone, email and Facebook but was ignored. I called to talked to a supervisor at the tap room I was told if I left my info they would get back to me but never did. When I emailed them I was just ignored and when I sent them a Facebook message I had no luck either. They answered my first FB message and told me if I left my info they would call me the next day. I gave them a few days and nothing. So I emailed them back to fallow up but they didn't reply. They opened the message and ignored me. So I guess I got robbed and ghosted. Ain't that some shhhh

Dude. Yeah. Had some a great time at the rabbit hole. 6 beers on tap and more in the cooler. Try some here or taken to go (fill growler or take a six pack). Plus, today they also had tacos to order with a little taco stand right in the brewery. Such a nice touch. Tired the gringolandia wheat a loved. More of a summer beer but is guess yearn for the summer. Also has the gringolanda porter was awesome too. Shout out to the cerveza especial within was a witbier. Corne by. It's worth the trip.

I had been meaning to come here forever, then I moved to Tampa. I was recently in town visiting family over the holidays and had a few hours to kill before heading home via Midway. It was snowing hard but that didn't stop them from opening right at 4. The parking lot is small but the space inside is huge and inviting. While we were there, they were brewing and it smelled heavenly. We were a bit confused with the way the taps were set up, it almost looked like a serve your self situation. We were quickly corrected by a very friendly man manning the place. We opted to start with a flight and then purchased a bottle from the cooler, we were even allowed to drink it at our table! The tables are rustic and cute and the art on the walls make the whole cavernous warehouse feel warm and inviting. The music playing varied in intensity and beat but contributed perfectly to the ambiance. The Latin vibe is prevalent everywhere without being cheesy or overdone. Laid back conversations were happening all around us at different tables and even though there was only one bartender, he kept everyone happy. I would definitely recommend stopping by this beautiful warehouse brewery, they do $10 tours on Saturdays I believe and frequently bring in food. Hidden gem in my opinion.

Lovely Tour & sweet 5 Rabbit glass :) So very excited to have just moved closer to this area...on our tour we got to sample a guava beer twas divine! The workers there are super cool and laid back. I was shocked to discover the founder was not straight up Mexican. The founder got the spices, culture, myths & love of my Mexico on point! Thank you! I signed up the volunteer list cant wait! OH! we ordered Rib Tips from CHUCKS to be delivered so very good!!!! And they said 1 hour for delivery well then Ribs got there in 20 mins :)

No mas paletas?! I recently had a guava paletas, a shandy/radler style, at Warren's Ale House in Wheaton and I LOVED it. 5 Rabbit isn't just another craft brewery; their brews really do stand out. When I saw watermelon paletas on the chalkboard at their taproom, I was excited to try it. But they were all out! Instead I had a barley wine, which is good if you like barley wines. The other beer I tried, Yodo con Leche, was delicious - just as pleasing as the paletas, but completely different flavor-wise as it was a coffee/caramel flavored beer. After 2 beers here, I was feeling GOOD. 5 Rabbits' taproom is located in an industrial area, with overhead garage doors left open to let in the breeze. There are a number of tables, and you'll sit among the tanks, barrels, and production floor. There is no ambience; rather this IS the ambience. Cool spot to wind down and chill for the evening.

Super cool ambiance in a large warehouse setting. They have fooseball, board games, and a variety of beer choices. Definitely a hipster vibe.

My favorite brewery in all of the Chicagoland! It's all about good beer and a good time! My favorites are 5Lizard and Yodo Con Leche. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff and brewers are very experienced and knowledgeable. I love the unique beers and there is always something new to try! I hope that 5Rabbit receives more recognition from bars in Chicago but I also love the surprise when I find it and that it's kind of my little secret.

I love this brewery and their beers! I first discovered 5 Rabbit beer while sampling a flight of beers in a bar in Florida. This was my favorite and I was surprised to learn that it came from my home state. I made a point of visiting the place with my husband and we both had a very good experience (although he is not a drinker at all). They have special events (like taco Thursdays, which I still have to check out) or artisan markets (which we attended). You can purchase some goodies from Mexico (which we did), sit down and have some food and beer and just relax. They also have some picnic tables outside (in season). I love the overall vibe of this place and enjoyed all the beers (especially the "fruity" ones) that I have tried. Can't wait to go back in spring. I hope they allow dogs (new addition to our family who always wants to be included) but I haven't checked on it yet. If they do, we will be regulars in summer. I just wish their beer was available in more local stores and restaurants as it is a little of a drive for us to go there.

Excellent choices of beer at this local brewery. Hidden at an industrial park it was surprising to see people on a week night enjoying very good and creative beer.

I went on the tour for $10. You get a beer and a pint glass to keep. What a deal, you learn about the grasshopper beer they make, and the spices used in their awesome beers. Also the Pork Mafia was there grilling up some marvelous pork to make your mouth water, I bought a bag of their special pork rub, it was awesome.

5 Rabbit invited the staff of our restaurant out to visit the brewery on our day off. They hooked us up with a great transportation option, Chicago Brew Bus, who drove us down to the brewery by Midway airport. Brewmaster John J. Hall introduced us to the ingredients (hibiscus flowers and chamomile flowers, coriander and lime zest, ancho chile and piloncilo,) and lead us through the whole brewing process. Afterwards we had a Q&A over tastes of 5 Rabbit beers and sandwiches. Big thank you to an awesome group of people putting out amazing craft beer!

We came as a group on a taco Thursday. We were asked if we wanted the tacos, so we all said yes. We were each given a poker like chip. Unfortunately they ran out of tacos and we had to go get the tacos removed from our tab. Very disappointing. The beer was good. Nice atmosphere. Initially they came to the table to take our beer order. After awhile no one came, so people started forming a line to order their beer. Seemed a little unorganized. Will come back, but will bring our own food/snacks next time.

A must visit for any craft beer fan. They are truly doing unique and amazing things with their beer. My first visit I was greeted with a handshake and told my first taco is on them during their Taco Thursday Night. The taquero on Thursdays is very tasty. Beer is phenomenal. Service is awesome! What are you waiting for? I was at Urban Legend recently wearing a 5 rabbit shirt and their Sales Director from 5 Rabbit happened to be drinking next to me and noticed my shirt. She ran to her car and gave me a complimentary bottle of Vida y Muerte on the spot!

Taco Thursday's are a good time to go. Met a buddy for some beers and tacos. I had the darker beers, such as the 5 Vultures, Cacao and Vienna Lager. Huge fan of the first two, not so much of the Lager. Capped off the night with their Chocofruit Piña, which was great! Taco dude had a basic selection, with al pastor and carne asada. Salsas were decent for a 3 taco dish at $5. Overall, it's a great taproom with a great staff!

Super friendly staff and I enjoyed the Vida Y Muerte that I brought home. Looking forward to trying more of their beers and visiting frequently when the brewery moves to Pilsen.

Very homey feeling. Good beer. Very relaxing environment with good music. My favorite brewery at the moment because of it's Latin feel and design.

Staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Hidden gem... been coming here since they opened and they have always had some great beers on tap every visit. I would recommend trying one of their beer slushies - if available - but the regular selections are always well done too. Worth a stop if you're anywhere near Midway / Bedford Park.
