Phallic Waffle Shop Zizipop Expands to the Village | Eater Montreal

"In the same building as the Anticafé near Place-des-Arts I noticed a homey new bistro called 5 Senses that serves simple, unfussy foods—soups, salads, paninis, smoothies, and scones—and promises to keep things affordable." - Valerie Silva

Google
This place was pretty, but I wouldn’t recommend and won’t come back. The photo is showing what $70 ($80 with tip) worth of food (plus a $4.50 drip coffee not on the photo) gets you there. The $12 soups were pretty good (but $12!!) and the $17 paninis tasted… well pretty much how they look. You are in Montreal, you can find better food for a fraction of the price.

I confirmed the ownership has changed and so are the standards. It used to be a cozy place. Now its, Overpriced stale food. The panini bread was hard as a rock. I had to google just to check, if there are any hard versions of panini in any parts of Italy. When questioning about the bread staleness and quality of food, the reply was it is supposed to be like this and its crispy. Rocks are the new crispy. Please don't test your customer's teeth. On my way to dentist...

We had a crepes here. The interior is dreamy and quirky. It's pretty and fun place to hang out with friends. They offer plethora different menu.

Ownership has changed so do not consider older reviews as the food is now disgusting, the salad tasted like plastic, I could’ve made a better one, then they give you half of the things your order, didn’t have any mozzarella, actual toast, cheese, ham. Like the comparison between the two pictures is atrocious. Now when you complain to the workers they blame you and do not take responsibility in their work. No compensation or anything, heavily overpriced and frozen food, customer service is terrible had to ask 5 times for mayonnaise, they don’t even know what they have on the menu. Do not ever go there. Go to Allô Mon Coco right down the street it’s much better.

I don't know what happened to this place, a month ago it was a 5 star experience. But this time the restaurant looks like a ghost town, the staff forgot my order, and the food didn't have any effort put into it. The cheese slices had pieces of linen on it. The guy before me waited an hour before demanding a refund. I probably should've done the same

Went there on a Saturday morning and was shocked by the food, we ordered a sour cream salmon crepe that had 4 little strands of it and was topped with 500gr of mayonnaise INSTEAD OF SOUR CREAM which I proceeded to remove with a knife, it was supposed to have pickles but they showed me they use Heinz relish instead… the thing still tasted like mayonnaise with some vegetables so I asked why the ingredients were different from the ones in the menu and they offered to change the crepe, to my surprise, even the simplest crepe (cheese and ham) which was supposed to have sauce bechamel was flooded with MAYONNAISE and no bechamel whatsoever.

How come there is a plastic material in my crepe? (see the photo) It used to be a wonderful place but I don’t know what happened here. TERRIBLE food quality and terrible design change. I will never come to this place again! I can’t believe how I wasted 27 CAD for that terrible food. Sorry guys, it’s a failure. :(

I would come here for lunch. The food is great, and the atmosphere has a great ambiance. Back in the day some time ago their ordering system was defective which sometimes resulted in long wait times, but I believe it has been fixed. Recommend to try 🙂
