There’s a Mini Food Hall in the Works for Upper Haight’s Affordable Housing Development at 730 Stanyan | Eater SF
"According to the website for the 730 Stanyan project, a 150-unit affordable housing development targeted to low- to moderate-income families and families who have experienced homelessness is planned for the currently empty lot at the corner of Stanyan and Haight, just across from the southeastern corner of Golden Gate Park. It's a joint venture between Chinatown Community Development Center (CCDC) and Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC), in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD). In addition to the residential units, the project includes plans for a miniature food hall that fronts Haight Street and wraps around to Stanyan Street facing Golden Gate Park, with four kiosk spaces; developers are seeking a master tenant to run the mini food hall, ideally a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with proven success serving an economically and socially diverse clientele and a strong commitment to affordability and serving the neighboring community, and the request for proposals is due in mid‑April." - Lauren Saria
